Abstract

Audio visual media provides extensive interaction activities between students and learning materials that are easy to access anytime and anywhere. This is in accordance with interaction theory in second language acquisition which emphasizes the importance of response and active participation in learning activities. Through audio-visual media, students will more easily grasp the meaning of the material presented so that students are able to express it through spoken language. The aim of the research is to determine the suitability of using audio-visual media in second language acquisition for Arabic language students. The research uses the library research method, a data collection technique by reviewing books and articles related to the research topic. The results of library research on the use of audio-visual media in acquiring Arabic, students are more enthusiastic in learning Arabic, the process of learning Arabic is fun, students easily understand the material through audio-visual media with quality determination criteria. Several psychologists explain that the connection between second language acquisition and second language learning can improve memory and increase motivation in using audio-visual media.

Abstract

Arab countries have a wide varity of dialects, which are varieties of Arabic that arise from the different ways of speaking of Arab Communities in Different regions that have different places of residence and socio-cultural needs. Arabic dialects have unique characteristics in each country, affecting daily communication and the culture of the local community. This research aims to identify Arabic dialect variations (Lahjah Arabiyah) descriptively. This research is ad descriptive qualitative based on literature study. Researchers collected data related to the variety of Arabic dialects through documentation, namely by reviewing texts from various printed books and scientific journal articles.

Abstract

The curriculum is of the utmost importance. It offers a basic structure that directs the process of learning. It is essential that the curriculum be applied accurately and successfully. Ensuring that learning objectives are satisfied and content is successfully communicated to students is ensured by a robust curriculum implementation. The following are the objectives of this research: 1. The purpose of this study is to identify and characterise the Arabic curriculum implementation management methodology used at Probolinggo's Zainul Hasan Genggong methodology High School. The success of the Arabic curriculum implementation management strategy in helping pupils acquire the language will next be examined. Lastly, it will offer suggestions for enhancement based on the research findings to raise the standard of management for the execution of the Arabic curriculum at Zainul Hasan Genggong Model High School in in Probolinggo.This study uses a qualitative descriptive methodology, gathering information via documentation, interviews, and observation.The study's findings unequivocally showed that the curriculum was successfully implemented and backed by a strong human resource base, cutting-edge teaching strategies, and infrastructure. Leadership dedication, teaching team collaboration, the availability of learning materials, motivation, and student involvement are factors that impact how well a curriculum is implemented. Two of the challenges are different student aptitude levels and scheduling limits. The study suggested hiring more qualified teachers, upgrading the facilities and infrastructure, and utilising information technology that is pertinent to learning Arabic.

Abstract

Storytelling is a learning method that provides stimulation for students to interact through stories. The research aims to analyze the implementation, advantages and disadvantages, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors of storytelling as a maharah kalam learning method at MA Muallimin Al-Huda Jombang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of field research. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses the analytical techniques of Mattew B. Milless and A. Michael Hubermen, including data correction, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The research results show that storytelling is effective and efficient in improving the quality of students' maharah kalam learning. The advantages of this method include increasing motivation, interaction, cooperation, self-confidence, making stories more lively, making it easier to understand the material, and enriching vocabulary. However, the drawback is that if the teacher is less expressive, students can lose focus, get bored or sleepy. Supporting factors for this method are teacher enthusiasm, interesting stories, the teacher's ability to present stories, adequate learning resources, a conducive environment, and sufficient facilities and infrastructure. Inhibiting factors include limited time, teachers' difficulties in conveying interesting stories, students' lack of ability to read texts, students' lack of attention, and differences in students' levels of understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to provide insights into innovative, creative, and educational approaches in Arabic language learning in the digital era, with a focus on using Wordwall as a medium for mastering Arabic vocabulary. The study employs a qualitative research design through a library research approach, utilizing data from literature that discusses the use of Wordwall games in Arabic language education. Data collection techniques include documentation of journals related to Wordwall, while the data analysis technique used is content analysis. The findings of the study indicate that Wordwall is effective in enhancing students' ability to recall and comprehend Arabic vocabulary. The application offers various engaging features, such as diverse game templates, the ability to edit and customize content, and ease of sharing activities, all of which can motivate students and facilitate the understanding of complex concepts. Therefore, the use of Wordwall has proven to overcome challenges in teaching Arabic vocabulary and contribute to improving students' learning outcomes. The implication is that using Wordwall can help both students and educators achieve more effective and innovative learning goals in this digital era.

Abstract

Letters play a crucial role in learning nahwu (Arabic syntax) to understand Arabic grammar, particularly in meaning analysis. Previous studies, such as those by Al-Khatib, examined the role of prepositions (huruf jar) in Arabic syntax, while Al-Jundi explored how these letters affect the grammatical status of verbs and sentence meaning. This article analyzes the meanings of huruf al-‘amilah (governing letters) concerning those governing a single noun (huruf tujarru ism wahid) and their influence on legal conclusions in Bulughul Maraam: Bab Thaharah by Al-Hafidz Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqolaani, a book containing hadiths on Islamic legal principles. The study aims to: 1) Identify the meanings of huruf ‘amilah in Bulughul Maraam: Bab Thaharah; and 2) Determine the influence of these meanings on legal conclusions in the book. Using a library research method with a descriptive approach, data was collected through documentation and analyzed through classification, content analysis, and conclusion. The results show that the letter "al-ba’" in Bulughul Maraam: Bab Thaharah has 10 meanings: 1) Instrument, 2) Accompaniment, 3) Addition, 4) Place/time, 5) Part of a whole, 6) Exchange, 7) Attachment to action, 8) Direction, 9) Cause, and 10) Action. These meanings influence legal conclusions in 20 hadiths.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain about children's language development and its stages. Factors of children's language development, as well as effective strategies for parents in helping children's language development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research using a literature approach in an effort to describe, record and analyze and interpret the current conditions. The data sources in this study are literature such as books, journals, articles, or documents that discuss effective strategies or the role of parents in stimulating children's language development. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that there are two factors that influence children's language development, namely internal and external. And explained that there are several effective strategies that can be used by parents in helping stimulate children's language development such as talking and interacting actively, reading books together, singing, creating a language-rich environment, using educational media, using rich and varied language, and consistency in learning and language development

Abstract

students. Teaching method is one of the ways used by educators in carrying out the learning process. The selection of inappropriate methods is an obstacle in achieving the learning objectives that have been found. Educators as much as possible should use methods that make the learning process interesting and also provide space for students to be creative. So that learning becomes very fun and not boring and can even improve students' maharah kitabah. The picture and picture model is a learning method that relies on images as media in the learning process. Pictures are one of the media that can help educators in the teaching process which makes learning more communicative and interesting, not even boring. The use of this media is designed so that students can analyze the picture into a brief description of what is in the picture. So that this method can be applied, of course, with the creativity of educators and make learning fun and interesting, especially in maharatul kitabah which most students have difficulty with.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the strategy of acquiring Arabic vocabulary in preschool children. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with a library research approach. The data collection technique used is in the form of documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques with a descriptive-analytical approach. by using the content analysis method. The data sources in this study are references and guidelines related to the problem being researched as literature data. The results of this study show that there are seven strategies that can be applied to acquire Arabic vocabulary in preschool children, including: First, contextual learning strategies. Second, image-based vocabulary acquisition strategies. Third, vocabulary acquisition strategies by singing and rhyme. Fourth, vocabulary acquisition strategies with illustrated stories. Fifth, vocabulary acquisition strategies are based on language games. Sixth, vocabulary acquisition strategies with creative activities, and Seventh, vocabulary acquisition strategies with social interaction. Hopefully, this research can help future research and these strategies can be applied in learning for the acquisition of Arabic vocabulary in preschool children.
