Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has transformed the characteristics of students from the millennial generation to Generation Z. This shift requires teachers to design learning that not only focuses on content but also fosters creativity and 21st-century skills. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs in enhancing teachers' ability to implement differentiated instruction based on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in reading and writing skills. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using the one-group pretest-posttest model. The research subjects consisted of 41 participants, including teachers and school principals, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, using observation sheets and interview guides as instruments. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative thematic analysis. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers' understanding of integrating technology and pedagogy into differentiated learning. Teachers were able to design adaptive, interactive, and student-responsive literacy instruction. The findings underscore the importance of TPACK-based training in strengthening teachers’ competencies to meet the demands of 21st-century education. The study implies the need to reinforce TPACK-based training programs as a strategy to improve teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Babakan Tarogong, Kota Bandung. Puskesmas ini menghadapai permasalahan bahwa fungsi pelayanan informasi obat kurang berjalan optimal. Hal ini disebabkan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan teknologi yang ada di Puskesmas ini. Padahal, informasi obat yang akurat, penting untuk mendukung pelayanan kesehatan, meningkatkan kesadaran pasien tentang obat yang mereka konsumsi, dan mencegah terjadinya kesalahan penggunaan obat. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan perancangan website yang dapat membantu layanan informasi obat di Puskesmas ini. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan wireframe, pengembangan prototype, dan pengujian langsung dengan melibatkan masyarakat awam dan tenaga farmasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa website dengan fitur pencarian obat, kategori obat, serta navigasi yang mudah digunakan, diterima dengan baik oleh responden dan berpotensi untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan pemahaman informasi obat oleh masyarakat. Pengujian juga menunjukkan respons positif terkait tampilan yang ramah pengguna dan desain yang sederhana. Dengan demikian, pengembangan website ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan informasi obat di puskesmas.

Abstract

MSMEs struggle with basic financial practices such as recording transactions and preparing financial reports, leading to inaccurate data and poor decision-making. This research uses Microsoft Excel as the main tool to produce a practical and efficient method for preparing financial reports for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The method used in this research is participatory, qualitative descriptive, which seeks to actively involve MSME actors in the Haur Pancuh II Culinary Tourism Village. The method used in this research is a case study. The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis, namely by systematically describing the results of observations and interviews. The analysis process includes data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Results showed significant improvements in participants' financial literacy, increased understanding of financial reporting, and confidence in applying their knowledge. This research underscores the importance of tailored financial literacy programs in empowering MSMEs to improve their financial management practices. These findings have practical implications for policymakers, educators, and community leaders aiming to increase the resilience and competitiveness of MSMEs through targeted capacity development initiatives, paving the way for more sustainable economic development in similar contexts.

Abstract

This study developed an environmentally friendly composite material for exotic knife handles by utilizing plant fibers and recycled plastic waste. This study used an experimental method. This study aims to identify the best composition between natural fibers and recycled plastics that produce optimal mechanical and thermal properties while having high aesthetic value and comfort of use. This study is a research and development (R&D). The subjects involved in this study were natural materials in the form of plant fibers and recycled plastics. The population in this study included all possible combinations of fiber and plastic mixtures, while the samples were selected purposively. The data collection method was carried out through laboratory experiments with the composite material molding process using the compression molding method. The instruments used included mechanical test equipment, visual observation sheets, and questionnaires. The data analysis method was quantitative descriptive analysis for mechanical data and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that the best composition was a mixture of 60% HDPE, 20% PP, and 20% coconut fiber with an HRB hardness value of 59.6 at a temperature of 280°C. In addition to the mechanical benefits, this study highlights the sustainability of the material and its economic potential in supporting local industries in Ponorogo. In conclusion, this study provides an innovative solution in plastic waste management while opening up new opportunities in the sustainability-based creative industry.

Abstract

Management of Edutourism targeting children is a significant concern for providing child-friendly learning places. With child-friendly Edutourism management, it is hoped that tourist visitors can increase significantly in line with the needs of child-friendly tourism. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) activity is to assist BUMDES Sejahtera Ponokawan in the Dewi Kenangan Edutourism sub-business by implementing the Edutourism Management Model with the Child-Friendly Edutainment Principle. The implementation method of this PKM adopts the research and development (RnD) method - 5 stages in the ADDIE model and is based on Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Participants in this PKM are the managers of Dewi Kenangan Edutourism, Dewi Kenangan Edutourism instructors, and the Management of BUMDES Sejahtera Ponokawan. Data analysis in this PKM uses qualitative data analysis on interview data, observations, and focus group discussions, as well as quantitative data analysis on pretest, posttest, and N-Gain score data. The results of this PKM show that the model can be implemented well by the managers of Dewi Kenangan Eduwisata, the instructors of Dewi Kenangan Eduwisata, and the Management of BUMDES Sejahtera Ponokawan. Mentoring was carried out effectively in the preparation, opening (launching), and implementation of the tourism model in Dewi Kenangan Eduwisata. The positive response from the managers of Dewi Kenangan Eduwisata, the instructors of Dewi Kenangan Eduwisata, and the Management of BUMDES Sejahtera Ponokawan to the model that was implemented to increase economic growth in Ponokawan Village. Thus, this program was declared successful because it had a positive impact on business development and expansion in Eduwisata.

Abstract

Penelusuran minat karier merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu siswa memahami potensi diri dan menentukan arah jalur pendidikan serta kariernya. Di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) “A”, banyak siswa menghadapi tantangan dalam memilih pendidikan atau karier yang sejalan dengan minat intrinsic. Tujuan Pengabdian ini untuk menganalisis implementasi tes RIASEC dalam mengidentifikasi minat karier siswa di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Desain Pengabdian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitaitf. Subjek Pengabdian sebanyak 40 siswa SMK yang terlibat dalam kegiatan dipilih melalui teknik convenience sampling dan diberikan tes RIASEC secara klasikal. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi pola minat karir. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tipe Enterprising (E) merupakan yang paling dominan (32.5%), diikuti tipe Social (S) sebesar 25% dan Realistik (R) sebanyak 22.5%. Terdapat 29 kombinasi tipe minat yang dikategorikan dalam 14 kelompok berdasarkan interpretasi tes. Bidang kejuruan yang saat ini ditempuh siswa umumnya sesuai dengan tipe R. Siswa dengan tipe minat utama yang kurang sesuai dengan tuntutan teknis kejuruan saat ini perlu mendapat perhatian pihak sekolah dengan melakukan optimalisasi untuk bidang yang memerlukan pengelolaan tim atau pekerjaan terkait. Simpulan Pengabdian menunjukkan pelaksanaan tes minat RIASEC bagi siswa SMK “A” telah berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan.

Abstract

Food sovereignty, which has become a global issue, is a solution in improving welfare, especially among fishermen. Towards food sovereignty, capacity building is needed, in this case fishermen's wives who contribute to this, because their abilities exceed the fishermen themselves, especially in managing households and alternative livelihoods. The purpose of this community service is to increase the capacity of fishermen's wives through verticulture, hydroponics, aquaponics, and catfish cultivation by utilizing used gallons, towards food sovereignty. The subjects in this activity are the wives of coastal fishermen at Cemara Beach, Banyuwangi District, Banyuwangi Regency. The method used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), which is the process of entering the service location (Getting in), then being at the location (Getting Along), and recording data. The results obtained are that the capacity building of fishermen's wives in Pantai cemara is carried out through empowerment programs in the form of several trainings such as verticulture, hydroponics, aquaponics, and catfish cultivation using used gallons. Where the results of the training produce a product that can lead to food sovereignty, it also helps fishermen's households, especially in improving family health and welfare.

Abstract

People's perception of museums as old-fashioned and static places is one of the causes of low public interest in visiting museums. This problem is also experienced by Museum Keris Nusantara (MKN) Surakarta, Indonesia. This research aims to optimize the educational media of the Masterpiece collection of Museum Keris Nusantara through the use of interactive 3D technology. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this research consisted of the Head of UPTD Museum of Surakarta City, Staff of Museum Keris Nusantara (MKN), and 50 respondents of visitors or users of the KRIS application (for application quality testing). This research uses several data collection techniques, namely Interviews, Observations, KRIS application trials, and Questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed descriptively, qualitatively, and quantitatively. Research findings in the form of questionnaires showed 92% of respondents stated that the quality of KRIS was very good, 96% thought the quality of KRIS information was very comprehensive, 94% stated that they were very satisfied using KRIS, and 98% thought KRIS was very useful for understanding MKN's masterpiece collection. This program is effective in increasing the capacity of human resources at MKN and enriching the visitor experience through interactive and interesting digital educational media.

Abstract

Tindakan kekerasan seperti bullying masih marak terjadi di berbagai jenjang pendidikan, dari sekolah dasar hingga perguruan tinggi. tujuan Pengabdian ini untuk menganalisis upaya preventif melalui pelatihan asertif adalah langkah penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan kondusif. Metode yang digunakan adalah practical action research, dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Sesi pelatihan melibatkan diskusi, role play, dan tanya-jawab untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan asertif yang dapat diterapkan dalam interaksi sosial. Subjek pengabdian menunjukkan 10 siswa. Hasil observasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam keberanian siswa untuk menyampaikan pendapat dan menanggapi situasi konflik secara konstruktif. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan asertif berhasil mengurangi frekuensi perilaku bullying dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih aman. Kegiatan pengabdian di SMP Negeri 4 dan SMP Negeri 5 Samarinda berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan asertif siswa melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan asertif. Meskipun SMP Negeri 5 mengalami kendala akibat kebakaran, pelatihan tetap berjalan efektif dengan penyesuaian jadwal dan metode pembelajaran. Simpulan pengabdian menunjukkan pelatihan asertif menjadi intervensi yang efektif untuk mencegah bullying dan meningkatkan kualitas interaksi di sekolah.

Abstract

Perkembangan era digital menuntut peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam penguasaan teknologi guna mendukung pembelajaran interaktif. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan dalam penerapan teknologi digital di dalam kelas sehingga diperlukan strategi pendampingan yang efektif. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut dengan mengembangkan keterampilan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital, terutama melalui platform Mentimeter dalam proses pembelajaran interaktif berbasis partisipatif. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri atas beberapa tahapan, yaitu presentasi materi mengenai Mentimeter, demonstrasi penggunaan Mentimeter, pendampingan praktis secara langsung, diskusi interaktif, praktik kolaboratif antarguru, serta evaluasi berbasis umpan balik. Data dikumpulkan melalui dua instrumen utama, yaitu kuesioner yang diisi oleh peserta setelah pelatihan dan rekaman interaksi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat sejauh mana perkembangan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital ke dalam proses pembelajaran setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan berbasis teknologi yang dilakukan secara daring melalui platform konferensi Ms. Teams memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital ke dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman implementasi teknologi dalam pendidikan serta rekomendasi strategis bagi institusi pendidikan dalam merancang peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik di era digital masa kini.
