Abstract

This study aims to obtain data related to the social construction that has been formed in society and residents in the Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) Brotherhood martial arts organization for female athletes who have long joined the PSHT Rayon Martubung martial arts. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted in Martubung, Kelurahan Besar. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation from research informants. The results of this study are based on the findings obtained about the background of female athletes participating in pencak silat martial arts, there are several factors such as external and internal influences, the desire to learn pencak silat as self-protection, and the desire to realize ideals by relying on the achievements obtained. The social construction that occurs in female athletes at PSHT Rayon Martubung through three dialectical processes of externalization, objectivation and internalization. Based on the stages of externalization to internalization, it describes that female athletes participate in pencak silat with their own will and no coercion. In addition, the social construction that was built internally, namely in the PSHT Rayon Martubung organization, saw women who were engaged in pencak silat as a good choice and a natural thing. While the social construction that occurs in the external sphere, namely in society appreciates women who participate in pencak silat.

Abstract

Inspirasi yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar IPA dan mengevaluasi signifikansi peningkatan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Manokwari melalui model pembelajaran Direct Instruction menggunakan virtual laboratorium dengan program media exam office. Sistem pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah blended learning melalui praktikum virtual. Data yang diperoleh melalui survei, penugasan, pengumpulan dan dokumentasi. Subjek penyelidikan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Manokwari. Mengingat hasil akhir penilaian pada siklus I dan siklus II hasil ujian virtual siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dengan materi efek doppler dan intensitas bunyi pada siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Manokwari. Hasil posttest siklus I sebesar 79,41% dan posttest siklus II sebesar 82,35%, Kemudian pembelajaran direct intruction dengan menggunakan media virtual lab untuk menumbuhkan hasil belajar siswa dapat diketahui dengan hasil N-Gain dalam siklus I sebesar 0,24 dalam kategori rendah dan N-Gain siklus II sebesar 0,34 dalam kategori sedang. Akhirnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model direct intraction menggunakan media laboratorium virtual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat sebesar 79,41% pada sisklus I dan 82,35% pada siklus II.

Abstract

This literature review aims to examine engagement, job satisfaction, and turnover intention among employees of palm oil companies in Indonesia. Palm oil companies in Indonesia have challenges and problems that impact their performance. Overcoming employee turnover is the main driver that causes the company's performance to decline. This is important to understand because involvement and job satisfaction greatly affect organizational performance. Job engagement and job satisfaction need to be boosted by programs from corporate human resource management. So that employees who work in organizations have higher motivation and better job satisfaction. The main purpose of this article is to explore the influence of involvement and job satisfaction on employee turnover intentions in palm oil companies in Indonesia

Abstract

It cannot be denied that democracy is one of the important issues in international relations. To assist countries that experience difficulties in implementing democratic principles in their countries, such as Myanmar, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the United Nations (UN) as international organizations that are pro-democracy, have a responsibility to oversee the success of the process democratization, especially after the military coup that occurred on February 1, 2022. Data collection was carried out through a literature review of previous works as well as various official sources including statements, declarations and resolutions issued by ASEAN and the United Nations. From the results of this study it can be seen what efforts have been made by ASEAN and the United Nations in encouraging the communication process in Myanmar. Apart from that, this research also describes the differences and agreements in terms of the strategies used by these two international organizations in practice in the field. The author will also try to provide his personal views in this paper regarding which organizational approach is more effective in suppressing the Myanmar military junta regime.

Abstract

Jakarta, as the capital city of Indonesia, shows its seriousness in implementing Smart City technology in its city, namely by building a Jakarta Smart City (JSC). Jakarta Smart City has six indicators that form the basis for the development of Smart City. The six indicators are smart economy, smart people, smart governance, smart mobility, smart environment, and smart living. This study discusses the implementation of the concept of smart city in Jakarta based on the successful of each indicator and discusses about the extent of Smart City in supporting Jakarta’s vision and mission. This paper aims to provide an overview of the successful of smart city implementation in the city of Jakarta, as well as the improvements that needed to be done. This study uses the method of a study literature to get an early picture of the current conditions in Jakarta and Jakarta Smart City, then assessment using survey through interview and questionnaires, and qualitative analysis of descriptive. The result show that the six indicators of Smart City concept have been implemented successfully in the city of Jakarta and in line with the vision and mission of Jakarta. However, improvements in several aspects, as well as support from the citizens and government are deemed.

Abstract

This research is a true experiment using a 2×2 factorial design which was carried out in class XI MIPA1 and XI MIPA3 SMAN 2 Majene Kab. Majene. Data collection in this study was carried out in three stages, namely; 1) the preparation stage, 2) the implementation stage, 3) the final stage by giving a final test of physics learning outcomes which is then analyzed to test the hypothesis. The results of hypothesis testing were carried out using two-way analysis of variance which showed that (1) there were differences in physics learning outcomes between students taught through the ARCS learning strategy and those taught using conventional learning, (2) for high learning motivation, there was a difference between the results learning physics of students who are taught using the ARCS learning strategy with students who are taught with conventional learning, (3) for low learning motivation, there is a difference between the physics learning outcomes of students who are taught using the ARCS learning strategy with students who are taught with conventional learning, and ( 4) there is an interaction effect between learning strategies and learning motivation on the achievement of physics learning outcomes, in class XI MIPA students at SMAN 2 Majene.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning mathematics from the teacher's point of view and the experience of learning mathematics based on self-confidence. The results of research related to distance mathematics learning with reference to 4 aspects (learning strategies, pedagogic models, learning technology, and assessment) found that the learning strategy carried out by the teacher is to make students active by conducting questions and answers during video conferences, giving rewards and punishments, and delivering material assisted by electronic media such as PowerPoint, YouTube, and learning videos. The pedagogic model used is still providing problem-solving questions that are also integrated with group learning and the use of other learning resources. The assessment is carried out by considering the activity and intelligence of students, assisted by the Google Forms application. In addition, it was also found that student self-confidence had an impact on most of the indicators of the experience of learning mathematics at a distance, and vice versa.

Abstract

The success of learning is one of the indicators seen from the cut score achievements. Learning is said to be successful if it can lead students to reach or exceed the cut score that has been set. The use of learning methods leads students to achieve the cut score if the method matches the material and student characteristics. In mathematics, the cooperative learning type STAD is often used as alternative learning for this purpose. Much has been done to improve mathematics learning outcomes by applying STAD at the elementary and junior high school levels. This study examines the results of classroom action research (CAR) publications in mathematics involving nine (9) publications as a sample. Research data is collected online through the Publish or Parish application and indexed in the Google Scholar database. Data analysis was performed using Excel and JASP programs. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the SE publications studied were homogeneous, both cycle I and cycle II. The results of data analysis also obtained a summary effect size (SES) of 0.654 and SE of 0.031 in cycle I and an SES of 0.918 with an SE of 0.18 in cycle II. Both SES have a p-value <0.01 which indicates that the SES is significant. The results of the analysis also found that SES belongs to the strong classification. Based on the results of this research analysis concluded that the application of cooperative learning in learning mathematics can improve KKM achievement in learning mathematics at the elementary and junior high school levels. Therefore it is suggested that learning mathematics in class apply the STAD cooperative learning model.

Abstract

Effective learning is learning that can successfully achieve a learning goal from students in accordance with what is expected by educators or teachers. An effective learning model is a learning model that includes four dimensions, namely: (1) Quality or quality of a learning, (2) adequate and relevant level of learning, (3) reward or reward or the provision of gifts from students to students, and (4) time, efficient classroom management also affects learning effectiveness. While effective assessment is a process to determine the achievement of students towards learning that has been carried out thoroughly. The assessment cycle can run effectively if the assessment is carried out continuously, through day-to-day assessment and periodic assessment. Day-to-day assessment can be done as an insert in the learning process; observation, discussion, Q&A and analyzing student work. While this periodic assessment is an assessment that is carried out periodically.

Abstract

Abstract This research discusses learning English in early childhood. There are still pros and cons, whether early childhood can learn English at school. Learning in kindergarten students is expected to adjust to their age. Learning must be fun and while playing. This research is expected to open insights and insights into thinking about teaching English at Pertiwi Kindergarten, Bekasi City. Respondents were 40 students of Kindergarten B. The research was conducted at State Kindergarten 6, Bekasi, West Java. The method used is a class action research method. Almost 2 cycles of English learning were carried out. The first and second cycles use story telling in learning. Telling stories that are still relevant to student learning is an alternative method of learning English. The results of the study showed that the second cycle reached 70 while the third cycle reached 72. These results were categorized as good. Teachers can use story telling combined with the game method, both inside and outside the classroom. This method can be developed with other methods such as storytelling with dolls, pictures, books and videos.. Keywords: story telling, English learning, students Abstrak Penelitan ini membahas tentang pembelajaran bahas Inggris pada anak usia dini. Masih ada pro dan kontra, apakah anak usia dini dapat belajar bahasa Inggris di sekolah. Pembelajaran pada siswa SD diharapkan menyesuaikan pada umur mereka.Pembelajaran harus menyenangkan dan sambil bermaian. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membuka wawasan dan cakrawala berpikir tentang penajaran bahasa Inggris di taman kanak kanak Pertiwi Kota Bekasi. Responden adalah siswa SD sebanyak 40 anak.Penelitian dilakukan pada SD Negeri 6 kota Bekasi Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Sebanyak 2 siklus dilakukan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Siklus pertama dan kedua menggunakan story telling dalam pembelajaran. Story telling yang masih relevan dengan pembelajaran siswa, menjadi salah satu alternatif metode belajar bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menukujukan pada siklus dua mencapai 70 sedangkan siklus tiga mencapai 72. Hasil ini dikatagorikan sudah baik. Guru dapat menggunakan story telling di padukan dengan metode permainan, baik didalam kelas maupun diluar kelas. Metoda ini dapat dikembangkan dengan metoda lain sepeti story telling dengan boneka, gambar, buku dan pengguaan video. Kata Kunci: bercerita, pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, siswa
