Abstract

In Islamic teachings, the effort to carry out Islamic da'wah is an obligation, so that Islam is great because of the vital flow of da'wah. In this technological era, da'wah must be continued by exploiting technology. To complete this discussion, we have conducted a series of literature searches on many online publications, including book journals and websites. In order to obtain valid findings, a series of analyzes involving the tuning coding system and critical evaluation under phenomenology have been carried out. Finally, we believe that the findings include that all Muslims must become a preacher by having Islamic knowledge and skills in using technologically advanced da'wah facilities. Hopefully, this finding will complement the study of da'wah and the technological revolution in the future.

Abstract

  The objective of this research is to describe English teachers' competency in selectingand developing, designing materials, doing teaching and learning process, using media and learning sources, and evaluating and making test. The design of this study was a survey that used descriptive analysis. This study revealed that the implementation of English teaching at elementary schools in Tenggarong municipality was poor. Similarly, teachers' competency in selecting, developing, anddesigning material, in doing teaching and learning process, in usingmedia and learning sources, and in evaluating and making test was also low or weak.

Abstract

It still has to be enhanced since students' critical thinking abilities on the subject matter of rotational dynamics and equilibrium of rigid bodies are still an issue. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the impact of the probing prompting learning model on students' capacity for critical thought with regard to the rotational dynamics and equilibrium of rigid bodies content. A total of 90 children from one of schools made up the sample for this study, which was performed there for four weeks in January 2023. The study approach employed was a quasi-experiment with a design for the control group that was not comparable. The Mann Whitney U examine was used to examine the validity of the hypothesis, and the findings revealed that Ho was rejected. The critical thinking abilities of students who study using the probing prompting model are significantly different from those of students who learn using traditional learning. In the experimental class, students' critical thinking scores increased more than those of the control class students. More than 80% of students expressed interest in using the probing prompting learning methodology. This study demonstrates how the probing prompting learning paradigm significantly enhances students' capacity for critical thought

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan aspek yang terus berkembang dalam budaya manusia seiring berjalannya waktu. Tujuan utama pendidikan adalah mengembangkan potensi individu. Pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) menjadi fokus dalam kebijakan pembangunan pendidikan, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan akademik dan profesional para dosen, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka. Dalam proses meningkatkan kualitas SDM, para dosen diharapkan mampu memenuhi peran dan tanggung jawab mereka dengan lebih efektif, terutama dalam membantu mengembangkan potensi siswa. Dalam menulis karya ilmiah, perlu diperhatikan bahwa tindakan ini tidak boleh sembarangan, khususnya dalam hal plagiasi, dan harus mengikuti panduan dan aturan yang berlaku. Pelatihan dan pendekatan terencana diperlukan untuk mendorong minat dalam menulis artikel ilmiah. Dalam penelitian, beberapa aspek penting dalam menulis antara lain konten, format, kosa kata, tata bahasa, dan mekanisme. Dalam penelitian lainnya, tulisan akademik dijelaskan sebagai jenis tulisan yang mendukung tujuan pendidikan dan proses berpikir dengan menggunakan bahasa tulisan. Oleh karena itu, artikel ilmiah adalah salah satu bentuk untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Pentingnya menulis artikel ilmiah bagi guru dan dosen juga ditandai dengan peran kunci mereka dalam mengembangkan potensi siswa dan kesuksesan proses pendidikan. Melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan penulisan artikel, mahasiswa dan dosen diberikan pemahaman tentang cara menulis artikel sesuai dengan kaidah karya tulis ilmiah, sehingga artikel tersebut dapat dipublikasikan pada jurnal nasional yang terakreditasi SINTA. Dengan demikian, kegiatan menulis artikel ilmiah menjadi sarana untuk mengembangkan kompetensi dan profesionalisme guru dan tenaga kependidikan.

Abstract

This research activity aims to obtain information about the usefulness of development results through the contribution of village funds to the welfare of rural communities. Qualitative analysis was used as a method to describe the results of the study, data were collected by using documentation and interview study techniques, and data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion were used for data analysis in this research. Based on the results of the research, information was obtained that development from the contribution of village funds was carried out for activities in the field of infrastructure and facilities development, and activities in the field of village community empowerment, and the planning process the village government had involved community participation in the formulation of priorities for the use of village funds. From the results of development, it has provided benefits for the welfare of the community in the form of ease of accessibility, environmental comfort, capacity and skill improvement, as well as increased economic welfare in terms of increasing income and making it easier to meet daily needs as well as the needs of community business activities such as business activities in the agricultural sector. It can be concluded that development through the contribution of village funds is beneficial for improving the welfare of rural communities.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relevance between blended learning and students' independent learning curriculum in the digital age. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to gather and analyze data from diverse participants. Multiple data collection techniques were utilized to ensure a comprehensive and in-depth exploration of the research topic. The sample included teachers from different educational levels, students with varying academic backgrounds, and educational administrators with experience in curriculum development and implementation. Procedures Data analysis involved several iterative steps. Based on the research results, it was found that a strong connection between blended learning and promoting independent learning skills among students. Challenges were identified in effectively incorporating an independent learning curriculum within the blended learning environment. The study highlighted the importance of teacher support, collaborative opportunities, and access to Technology and resources in enhancing the effectiveness of blended learning and independent learning practices. These findings contribute to the ongoing discourse on digital-age education and provide insights for educators and policymakers in designing practical instructional approaches that empower students' independent learning skills in the digital era.

Abstract

Pelatihan Penggunaan Fitur Canva dalam Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran merupakan sebuah pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan secara daring pada tanggal 3 Agustus 2023. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 37 peserta dari berbagai kalangan, termasuk mahasiswa, guru, dan dosen. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan Canva sebagai alat untuk menciptakan materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif. Pentingnya topik ini terletak pada peran penting teknologi dalam pendidikan modern. Canva, sebagai alat desain grafis yang user-friendly, memiliki potensi besar untuk memperkaya pengalaman pembelajaran online. Namun, tidak semua individu memiliki pemahaman yang memadai tentang cara menggunakannya secara efektif. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan ini dipilih untuk membekali peserta dengan keterampilan yang relevan dalam pembuatan materi pembelajaran yang kreatif dan interaktif. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan mencakup sesi teori, demonstrasi praktik, latihan mandiri, dan diskusi. Peserta diberikan pemahaman tentang dasar-dasar Canva dan kemudian diarahkan untuk mengaplikasikan pengetahuan tersebut dalam pembuatan materi pembelajaran secara mandiri. Hasilnya adalah peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam desain grafis, yang dapat diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan mereka. Kegiatan ini memiliki dampak yang luas, termasuk peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran online dan dukungan pengembangan sumber daya pendidikan yang lebih baik. Hasil positif dari pelatihan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan modern dan memberikan landasan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif.

The research method of this study was literature, by looking for related literature contained in books, articles, and websites both national and international publications. The results of this study indicate that pesantren that only survive on the old learning system, without relying on technological sophistication, will be left behind by communities that have implemented a technological system. It is hoped that this discussion is useful for other Islamic educational institutions, it is necessary to carry out various creativity and innovations through technology so that pesantren are more alive not only in the real world but in cyberspace. For similar research, it can be used as comparison material with field studies between traditional and modern Islamic boarding schools throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Growing environmental degradation has become a pressing global issue, highlighting the importance of education in shaping the environmental awareness of the younger generation. This study aims to fill the gap in the literature regarding the contribution of schools in building sustainable learning ecosystems that promote environmental awareness among students. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach in several schools that implement environmental education programs. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, and students, observation of school activities, and document analysis of environment-related education policies. The results showed that the integration of environmental issues in the curriculum, the implementation of nature-based extracurricular programs, and the management of environmentally friendly school facilities play a significant role in building students' awareness of sustainability. Activities such as reforestation, waste management and environmental campaigns allow students to be directly involved in sustainability practices, which in turn increases their understanding of and responsibility for environmental conservation. The involvement of various stakeholders, including families and communities, to support the creation of an effective learning ecosystem. This research provides strategic recommendations for policy makers to design a more integrated and impactful environmental education program. This research is expected to serve as a guide in efforts to strengthen environmental awareness through an educational approach
