Abstract

The game of volleyball is nothing but a big ball game. One of the movements used in volleyball is the down pass. The background of this research was because students in the extracurricular volleyball ball at SDN Wiyung 1 453 Surabaya were less able to place the ball in the middle of their hands and different foot patterns. This requires students to have a poor level of accuracy. This research aims to improve volleyball passing ability using paired movement patterns. Paired movement patterns can increase the active role and participation of students in participating in lower passing volleyball lessons. This research uses quasi-experimental research, using a quantitative approach with a sample of 15 people. Data collection through field observations, interviews and pretest and posttest on students. Data analysis used the hypothesis test paired sample t-test and Ngain. Based on the research results, it was found that paired movement patterns could increase the ability of passing down at SDN Wiyung 1 453 Surabaya as evidenced by the increase in the class average from 63.6 with 20% of students completing to a class average of 80.7 with 86% of students completing. This can also be seen in the increase in bottom passing ability with paired movement patterns at SDN Wiyung 1 453 Surabaya which is shown by an N-Gain value of 0.44 which shows moderate criteria, which means there is a moderate increase in bottom passing ability with paired movement patterns. at SDN Wiyung 1 453 Surabaya.

Abstract

Physical Motivational involvement is also part of student participation because it plays a very important role in an activity or participation. Student participation in taking part in activities at school and outside school can be shown by their activeness. Program to improve the individual quality of a student participating in extracurricular activities. The aim of the research is to find out how much motivation and participation motivation is most dominant among students in participating in pencak silat extracurricular activities. Researchers used quantitative descriptive research, using a population of 70 extracurricular participants. The instrument comes from a questionnaire adopted from (Gill et al., 1983) and interviews. Researchers used a motivation questionnaire consisting of six statement indicators. Data is taken via Google form which is distributed via the WhatsApp application. After that, the data is processed using SPSS statistics to find out the Mean, Standard Deviation and Percentage. Based on the results of research conducted, a total of 70 extracurricular students had very high participation motivation with an average percentage of 96.13%. Based on the indicator percentage of the 6 indicators, the average percentage is 96.12%, it can be concluded that participation motivation is included in the Very High category. The most dominant motivation for participation is the fitness indicator with a percentage of 98.51%.

Abstract

As time goes by, science is increasingly developing, one of which is in subjects in elementary school, namely Natural and Social Sciences. Through social science learning media, it is hoped that students will be able to develop curiosity about their environment. One of the supporting factors is the use of graphic learning media. The purpose of this research is to develop creative and interesting graphic media in the form of a lift-the-flap book. The lift the flap book medium is a learning medium that presents two different page views that encourage readers to pause, look, and wonder. This research method is development research (RnD) with the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used in this study are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained from the validation of media experts were 93.75%, and material experts obtained 92.5%. The questionnaire and interview assessment were carried out on grade IV students of SDN 1 Wajak Lor, which amounted to 18 students, obtaining 98.75%. The results of this study show that the lift the flap book medium in the science and science subject of plant material, the source of life on earth, for grade IV students of SDN 1 Wajak Lor is very valid and suitable to be used as a learning medium in the classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of word walls on learning outcomes and the character of patriotism in Pancasila education subjects. The approach taken in this research is quantitative in the form of a true experimental design with a posttest only-control design type. The population in this research is class IV students at SD N Adisana 04 and SD N Dukuhturi 02 with a total of 60 students in the 2023/2024 academic year. With the sampling technique, namely saturated sampling, 60 students were selected as research samples, consisting of 30 class IV students at SDN Adisana 04 as the experimental class and 30 class IV students at SDN Dukuhturi 02 as the control class. The data collection instrument for learning outcomes was carried out using multiple choice questions, for the character of patriotism it was carried out using a self-assessment sheet in the form of a questionnaire. Results obtained (1) The learning results from the t test results obtained a sig value of 0.019 or sig < 0.05, so that HO was rejected and Ha was accepted. This means that the word wall learning model has an influence on Pancasila education learning outcomes. (2) The character of love for one's country from the t test results obtained a sig value of 0.536 > 0.05, which means there is no influence from the use of word wall learning media on the character of love for one's country where Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. So descriptively there is an influence of the word wall on learning outcomes in Pancasila education subjects and there is no influence of the word wall on the character of love for the country in students.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of video assignments as a tool for learning English, particularly in the English for Business course. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research focuses on the experiences and perceptions of 20 management students from Universitas BSI who completed video assignments on sales and marketing topics. The findings reveal that video assignments significantly enhance students' language skills and confidence. Students faced various challenges, including technical issues and language barriers, but these were overcome through practice and resource utilization. The study highlights the importance of guidance and feedback from lecturers to support students in overcoming these challenges. Overall, video assignments are deemed an effective method for improving students' English language skills.

Abstract

Tujuan diadakannya penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran matematika pada siswa kelas III. Sebagai tindakannya, peneliti menggunakan metode pair check berbantuan wordwall di dalam pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 27 siswa kelas III. Penelitian dilakukan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pembelajaran pair check. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar post-test. PTK ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setelah dianalisis, terdapat peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I sebesar 62,69% ke siklus II terdapat peningkatan menjadi 74,07%. Berdasarkan prosentase hasil belajar tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran pair check berbantuan aplikasi wordwall pada mata pelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Literary works are human creations born with beautiful language and capable of evoking emotional responses in readers and listeners. Literary works such as short stories are miniatures of life with various issues. In short stories, a fragment of a character's life is narrated, filled with conflicts, touching or pleasant events, and leaving unforgettable impressions. In the short story of "Perempuan Terakhir", there are intrinsic elements that become the object of research. This study aims to identify and discover the intrinsic elements in the short story "Perempuan Terakhir" by M. Shoim Anwar. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Based on the research results, it is explained that in the short story "Perempuan Terakhir" by M. Shoim Anwar, several intrinsic elements are found, such as theme, message, plot, characterization, characteristics, setting (place, time), point of view, and language style. Through literary learning in schools, intrinsic elements can provide knowledge benefits for students, where positive aspects can be applied through the attitudes of students both in the school environment and in the family environment. The suggestions given from this research are: (1) Teachers should teach students to analyze and identify the intrinsic elements contained in short stories, (2) For future researchers, to be able to analyze and identify the elements or values contained in literary works.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the stages of Homo Batu culture towards school mathematics learning. This research was conducted in South Nias, North Sumatra Province. The type of research is ethnomathematics, namely analysis of the stages carried out by a fahombo. The research instrument uses interview and observation sheets. Qualitative data analysis is used to explore the stages carried out by a fahombo in learning mathematics. Based on the results of exploration and analysis, it can be concluded that the fahombo stages can be applied as stages of mathematics learning, namely (1) practice solving questions in the easy, medium, and (2) difficult categories, (3) solving questions in the medium and difficult categories, (4) ) completing routine questions and mathematics application questions, and (5) measuring abilities with quizzes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the simultaneous and partial influence of Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on teacher performance. This type of research is quantitative which explains the influence of the variables Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on the performance of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) teachers in Kendal Regency. The population in this study was 109 people. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The data collection method is through scale distribution in the form of Likert model countries. The data analysis technique was carried out using multiple linear regression techniques. The results of this research show data that the F test shows 0.461 > 0.05 and the calculated F value is 0.867 > 2.69 and the significance is 0.001 which means it is smaller than alpha (α) – 0.05. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that the first hypothesis (H1) in this study is accepted. So that transformational leadership, organizational culture and organizational citizenship behavior have a significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems in learning maharatul kalam (speaking skills) in Arabic at Pondok Pesantren Al-Minhaj Shahabah, Bogor, West Java. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The results show that students face both linguistic and non-linguistic challenges in their learning process. Linguistic challenges include difficulties in pronunciation, limited vocabulary, and complex grammatical understanding. Meanwhile, non-linguistic challenges encompass lack of confidence, fear of making mistakes, and fluctuating motivation. An analysis of student report cards indicates a fairly good level of effectiveness, but there is still room for improvement. Psychological factors and a learning environment that is not fully supportive also hinder the optimization of learning effectiveness. This research highlights the importance of a holistic and student-focused approach in teaching maharatul kalam to significantly enhance Arabic speaking skills.
