Abstract

Social science learning is closely related to the interaction between humans and other humans, humans and their environment, and human behavior itself. Social science learning in early childhood has not been included separately in school learning, but social values such as cooperation, respect, sharing, helping, love of the environment in children have been introduced by a teacher through singing or direct activities. The purpose of writing this article is to determine and explain the scope of introducing social sciences to early childhood. Meanwhile, the method for writing this article uses descriptive qualitative and the data collection technique is carried out by conducting a library study or literature study. The findings in this research include the scope of introducing social sciences to early childhood, including loving the environment, collaborating, appreciating, sharing, helping, friendly attitudes, empathy, discipline, sympathy, tolerance and mutual cooperation.

Abstract

The Problem Based Learning Model is designed to assist students in building a flexible and broad knowledge base, developing effective problem solving skills, developing independent learning as a lifelong learning skill, becoming effective collaborators and being intrinsically motivated to learn. But in reality, not all teachers use this learning model in the learning process in their class. This learning model is very suitable if combined with the use of comic media in addition and subtraction relationship material because it increases student motivation and focus due to creative, innovative and contextual teaching materials. This classroom action research was carried out with the aim of finding out whether the problem-based learning model assisted by comic media can improve student learning outcomes on the topic of the relationship between addition and subtraction. The participants involved were 22 grade 3 elementary school students in Tabanan Regency. The research instrument was in the form of reflection sheets, learning improvement plans, evaluation question sheets for each cycle which were answered by students. Data analysis uses observation and documentation techniques from student learning outcomes documents at the end of the learning process of each cycle where students who get a score ≥ 70 are categorized as complete, and those who get < 70 are categorized as incomplete. For students' classical learning completeness is determined based on the percentage of students' learning completeness in class, namely at least 80%. This discovery will provide alternative uses of media and learning strategies to fellow educators to be able to have an impact on improving the learning outcomes of the students they teach.

Abstract

This journal reviews the material on recognizing feelings through differentiated learning models for students in grade 2 of UPTD SDN 192 Barru. This study aims to determine the understanding of the material on recognizing feelings using differentiated learning models assisted by visual media in the Indonesian language learning process in grade 2 of UPTD SDN 192 Barru. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The research instrument is student worksheets (LKPD). The research data sources are the results of observations in class, interviews with homeroom teachers, and students. The results of the study showed that the increase in learning outcomes on the material on recognizing feelings using differentiated learning models assisted by visual media got good and quite satisfactory results. So it is in accordance with what the teacher expects. In cycle I, only 3 students completed and 10 students did not complete, while in cycle II all students achieved a completeness score of 13 students. Overall, student learning outcomes on the material on recognizing feelings increased at each meeting. The implementation process uses a differentiated learning model assisted by visual media that contains effective learning concepts on the material on recognizing feelings in Indonesian language learning. The impact of this material on recognizing feelings provides a deeper understanding and can understand the content of this material in a more enjoyable, inspiring and meaningful way.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the implementation of the Adiwiyata program, specifically the "reduce" activities, in training students' responsibility skills at MI Khadijah Kota Malang. This research uses a quantitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the 'reduce' program successfully increased students' awareness of the importance of reducing plastic waste and single-use items. Students were involved in various activities such as bringing Tumblrs, sorting waste, and utilizing waste banks. This not only fosters an attitude of environmental care but also trains students' responsibility towards the environment. However, some students still lack awareness of the environment by using single-use bottles. This program provides significant benefits in creating a cleaner, healthier school environment and in building responsible character among students.

Abstract

Early childhood education is the initial foundation in forming personality, individual character which will influence their life until adulthood. Science process skills in PAUD aim to develop science learning in solving the problems faced. The presence of this article aims to improve cognitive skills through science learning based on the use of the environment for early childhood. Using the literature review or library research method. The results of a review of several scientific literature show that introducing science learning from an early age is very necessary to add insight to students. By learning science, we encourage children to think critically, through simple experiments such as mixing colors or changing an object. so that they can improve their scientific abilities. Apart from that, in science learning we can train children to recognize symptoms that exist in our immediate environment. And also in this case, science and the environment can be combined as a development to develop cognitive abilities in early childhood, as the family environment, school environment and also society are places where children begin to explore their identity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Pec Deck Flyes and Cable Crossover training on Arm Muscle Strength and Forehand in male tennis players. This type of research is an experimental study using "Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design". The population in this study were 30 male tennis players. Then divided into 3 groups, experimental group I was given Pec Deck Flyes treatment, experimental group II was given Cable Crossover treatment and the control group was given conventional treatment. To determine the strength of the arm muscles, each subject was given a push-up test for 30 seconds and for forehand results, the subjects were given the opportunity to hit 15 balls with the forehand technique. Based on the Multivariate analysis, testing the equality of variance-covariance in both dependent variables together using the Box's Test Of Equality Of Covariance Matrices, a significance value of 0.130> 0.05 was obtained, because the Box's value was greater than alpha 0.05, then the variance-covariance were the same. Testing the equality of variance-covariance on both dependent variables individually using the Levene Test Of Error Variances number for arm muscle strength obtained a significance value of 0.134> 0.05 and a significance value for forehand results of 0.296> 0.05, because the significance value is greater than alpha 0.05. It can be concluded that both dependent variables have different Variance-Covariance Matrices in the independent variable group. The difference between groups using the Wilks' Lambda test obtained a significance value of 0.00 <0.05. Because the Wilks' Lambda significance value is smaller than alpha 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the increase in arm muscle strength and forehand results. Keywords: Training, Pec deck Flyes, Cable Crossovr, Arm Muscle Strength, and forehand.

Abstract

This study uses a "randomized group pretest and posttest design." The population in this study consists of 70 male students from the PJKR Program at STKIP YAPIS DOMPU, class of 2023. The sampling technique used was random sampling with a sample size of 30 people, divided into 3 groups: the Single Leg Hop group, the Double Leg Hop group, and finally, the control group. The type of this research is a quasi-experiment, with a quantitative approach. Data were collected using measurement techniques with the Vertical Jump tool to measure the Explosive Power of the Leg Muscles. Data were analyzed using the MANOVA technique, with an α of 0.05. The research results show that the effect of Single Leg Hop on the improvement of leg muscle explosiveness has a p-value of 0.085, while the effect of Double Leg Hop on the improvement of leg muscle explosiveness has a p-value of 0.030. From both exercises, it turns out that Single Leg Hop is better than Double Leg Hop in improving the explosive power of the leg muscles. This study uses a "randomized group pretest and posttest design."
