Abstract

The goal of learning to read and write in Arabic is to enable students to write Arabic texts accurately, taking into account linguistic elements. Learning activities refer to achievement indicators, namely: (1) practice transcribing the sounds of words, phrases, and sentences; (2) practice answering questions based on reading texts and arranging them to form good paragraphs; and (3) practice expressing ideas or free writing using vocabulary appropriate to the given topic. Writing is a comprehensive linguistic skill that aims to produce what is called writing. Methodologically, in the learning process, especially in writing skills, the first thing that must be understood is understanding the purpose of learning to write itself, then defining it as a learning objective. It is important to understand the principles of learning to write so as not to deviate from the scope of discussion and evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of jackfruit seed flour (Artocarpus heterophyllus) substitution on the physical and organoleptic qualities of fresh fettuccine pasta as an alternative to partially replacing wheat flour. The research was conducted using an experimental method with three levels of jackfruit seed flour substitution: 5%, 10%, and 15%. Physical quality tests included water absorption capacity and elasticity, while organoleptic evaluations covered color, aroma, taste, and texture. The results of ANOVA analysis indicated that jackfruit seed flour substitution had no significant effect on water absorption or elasticity. Meanwhile, the Kruskal-Wallis test showed a significant effect on color and aroma, but no significant effect on taste and texture. Based on the Tukey post-hoc test, the 5% substitution level provided the best results in terms of color and aroma. This study suggests that substituting wheat flour with up to 5% jackfruit seed flour can produce fresh fettuccine with good physical and organoleptic quality, and has the potential to become a local food innovation that helps reduce dependency on wheat flour

Abstract

This research examines the role of Islamic education based on the Jamaah Tabligh movement in shaping the character of patience among its followers. Patience is one of the fundamental values in Islam that plays a crucial role in shaping a resilient Muslim personality capable of facing various life challenges. Jamaah Tabligh, as a global Islamic missionary movement, has a distinctive educational method that emphasizes direct practice through the khuruj (going out for missionary work) program. This research aims to analyze the concept of patience character education from the perspective of Islamic education, identify the educational model applied by Jamaah Tabligh, and evaluate the effectiveness of this method in shaping the character of patience. The approach used is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical method, collecting data through observation, interviews with followers, and document studies. The results show that Jamaah Tabligh implements patience character education through several main strategies: regular worship during khuruj, learning to obey decisions resulting from consultations, learning the stories of the prophets and companions, direct experience in challenging missionary work, and a continuous mentoring system. The khuruj program serves as a practical laboratory that trains patience in facing rejection, material limitations, and adaptation to new environments. The internalization of the value of patience is manifested through dhikr (remembrance of God), mudzakarah (discussion), obedience to the results of consultations, and the exemplary behavior of the followers. This research concludes that Islamic education based on the Jamaah Tabligh movement has been effective in shaping the character of patience through a holistic approach that integrates spiritual, emotional, and social aspects, emphasizing experiential learning and continuous guidance within a supportive community.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of target-throwing training on improving javelin throw accuracy among elementary school students at SDN Muncul 01 Setu, South Tangerang City. The background of this study was the low level of students’ throwing accuracy, which was influenced by limited variations in training methods and inadequate supporting facilities. A quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design was employed, involving 40 students who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received target-throwing training for eight sessions, while the control group participated in conventional javelin throwing instruction. The research instrument was a javelin throw accuracy test administered before and after the intervention. Descriptive analysis showed a significant improvement in the experimental group, with the mean score increasing from 29.90 to 43.40. In contrast, the control group showed a smaller improvement, from 30.30 to 35.10. Statistical analysis using paired sample t-tests and independent sample t-tests indicated that target-throwing training had a significant effect on improving javelin throw accuracy (p < 0.05). These findings confirm that target-throwing training is an effective, safe, and relevant method for physical education instruction to enhance throwing accuracy among elementary school students.

To analyze the effectiveness of implementing gamification-based PJOK learning at SD Negeri 1 Boal, Sumbawa Regency. 2. To analyze students' learning motivation in gamification-based PJOK learning at SD Negeri Boal, Sumbawa Regency. 3. To identify supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing gamification-based PJOK learning at SD Negeri 1 Boal, Sumbawa Regency. The study uses a mixed method (Mixed Methods), namely quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design and inferential analysis through independent samples t-test. To compare learning outcomes between the gamification-treated group and the conventional learning group, a qualitative study was conducted with interviews with the principal and physical education teachers. The results showed that gamification-based physical education learning was effective. Statistical findings confirmed a significant difference in student learning outcomes, indicating that the gamification approach significantly impacted student learning motivation. Furthermore, the study identified supporting factors. High student enthusiasm and motivation fueled by the game element; the implementation of gamification elements such as challenges, levels, points, and rewards; adequate facilities and infrastructure; and teacher competence capable of designing and managing gamification effectively. Principal support, teacher creativity, and clear assessment rubrics also strengthen the effectiveness of gamification implementation. However, there are also inhibiting factors such as weather conditions that do not support physical activity, variations in students' physical abilities, forgetting game rules, poor coordination between groups, limited learning time, and limited supporting technology. Overall, this study confirms that gamification is a potential pedagogical approach to strengthen the quality of physical education (PJOK) learning in elementary schools, especially when supported by teacher competence and thorough learning planning.
