Abstract

This study examines the factors driving telemedicine adoption among physicians in Indonesia, employing an integrated framework based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The framework investigates the influence of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, social support, and economic value on physicians behavioral intention and actual use of telemedicine, with attitude acting as a key mediating variable. Additionally, demographic characteristics, including age, practice type, and practice duration, are explored as potential moderators in these relationships. Data was gathered from a cross-sectional survey of 244 physicians across various specialties and regions in Indonesia. The study findings, analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), reveal that effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, social support, and economic value significantly influence both behavioral intention and actual use. In contrast, performance expectancy does not have a significant effect. Attitude plays a crucial mediating role in translating physicians perceptions into adoption behaviors. Moreover, practice type moderates the path from behavioral intention to actual use, with general practitioners more likely to adopt telemedicine than specialists. The results emphasize that telemedicine strategies should prioritize usability, economic value, social support, and institutional backing. This study contributes to the telemedicine adoption literature by extending TAM and UTAUT with attitudinal mediation and economic value, while highlighting emerging psychosocial factors in Southeast Asia. These insights offer practical guidance for healthcare managers and policymakers.

Abstract

This study examines disparities in the implementation of Indonesia’s Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) which remain fragmented across regional governments and hinder efficient service delivery. The purpose of this research is to develop a hybrid enterprise architecture planning framework that combines TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF, and Gartner models to achieve more harmonized and interoperable SPBE adoption. A quantitative explanatory method was used with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), involving data from 337 valid respondents across nine district and city governments in West Java Province. Four main constructs were examined, including SPBE implementation standardization, operational procedure clarity, technology harmonization, and institutional collaboration. The findings show that all constructs significantly improve digital governance effectiveness, with standardization being the strongest influencing factor with a coefficient value of 0.423 and significance level below 0.01. In addition to statistical validation, the study presents an operational framework containing procedural flow, logic matrix, and pseudocode that bridges theoretical concepts and practical implementation in SPBE planning. This hybrid framework provides a structured but also flexible approach suitable for Indonesia’s decentralized governance by enhancing interoperability, transparency, and coordination between agencies. Overall, the research contributes both theoretically and practically by demonstrating how the integration of enterprise architecture principles can strengthen SPBE implementation and support sustainable digital transformation within local governments.

Abstract

This study examines the role of lifestyle in mediating the influence of financial literacy and financial inclusion on the decision to take online loans. This research was conducted on women who use online loans in Indonesia. The sampling method used nonprobability sampling, with the respondents being 200 Indonesian women who used online loans. Data analysis uses Partial Least Square (PLS) to test the direct and indirect effects of financial literacy and financial inclusion on online loan decision-making. The results show that financial literacy, inclusion, and lifestyle significantly positively affect online loan decision-making. Financial literacy does not affect lifestyle, while financial inclusion significantly affects women's lifestyles in Indonesia. Lifestyle cannot mediate the influence of financial literacy and financial inclusion on women's online loan decision-making in Indonesia. The results of this study emphasize the importance of financial literacy and inclusion in shaping good financial behavior, especially in making decisions to apply for loans. Efforts to increase financial literacy and access to financial inclusion can be the primary strategy to improve the financial behavior of women in Indonesia in online loan decision-making.

Abstract

Rapid digital transformation has increased the need for firms to optimize how technological resources are utilized and integrated to enhance performance, particularly among Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) facing resource constraints. Although prior research highlights the value of digital adoption, less is known about how resource integration mechanisms convert technology-driven utilization into sustainable performance outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of technology-driven resource utilization on firm performance and to test the mediating role of resource integration within the Resource-Based View (RBV) framework. A quantitative research design was applied using survey data collected from 233 firms undergoing digital transformation across various industries. The hypothesized relationships were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. The analysis followed standard PLS-SEM procedures, including measurement model assessment for reliability and convergent validity, and structural model evaluation to test path significance and mediation effects. The results show that technology-driven resource utilization has a significant positive effect on firm performance. Resource integration also significantly improves firm performance and partially mediates the relationship between resource utilization and performance, indicating that digital resources contribute more effectively when embedded into coordination routines, aligned workflows, and knowledge-sharing mechanisms. This study concludes that dynamic resource integration is a critical capability for translating technology-driven resource utilization into sustainable firm performance, extending RBV by emphasizing integration capability as a strategic asset. Limitations include the cross-sectional design and SME-focused sample; future studies should employ longitudinal designs and broader industry contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze public sentiment towards digital banks in Indonesia, specifically Bank Jago, using data from social media Twitter. Sentiment analysis methods were used to classify tweets into positive, negative and neutral categories. The findings show that public perceptions are generally positive, with a focus on technological innovation and ease of service. However, key complaints related to technical issues and customer service remain noteworthy. Most tweets had neutral to positive sentiments, reflecting a favorable public view of digital banks. These results highlight the importance for digital banks to continuously improve the customer service and technical stability of their apps to maintain a good reputation in the eyes of the public. In addition, the positive sentiments that arise regarding technological innovation can be leveraged to reinforce the bank's image as a modern and efficient institution. Recommendations from this study include developing a more responsive customer support system and improving app stability. With these measures, digital banks can maintain public trust and compete in an increasingly competitive market, as well as increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. This research provides valuable insights for digital bank business strategy in Indonesia.

Abstract

A Planogram automation system has been developed to maximize the effectiveness of product arrangements on store shelves. However, its design could not be used at its full potential because of human errors that frequently occur when employees attempt to place products according to a predetermined planogram. These errors reduce both accuracy and efficiency in the implementation process. Previous research addressed this challenge by proposing solutions in the form of automatic planogram compliance supervisors that utilize object detection technology to detect deviations. In contrast, this work proposed another approach to minimize human errors, namely by developing a real-time guidance system for product placement on the shelves using an Augmented Reality (AR) platform. Two different AR devices were implemented, consisting of a handheld Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and a Video See Through (VST), Head Mounted Display (HMD) using Meta Quest 3, and their performance was compared to the conventional paper-based method. The system was evaluated through a user study involving 11 participants who had prior experience in product placement but no experience with HMD devices. Results showed that paper instruction achieved the best completion time in task performance, while no significant differences were found in error performance. HMD and paper instruction demonstrated similar outcomes on cognitive load, whereas handheld AR showed the worst performance and physical demand. Based on these results and post-task feedback, it can be concluded that although paper instruction remained the most favored method, the HMD demonstrated the greatest potential for future product placement guidance systems.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of greenwashing on firm performance, with a focus on the moderating role of multiple directorships in the context of Indonesian public companies. Greenwashing, defined as the dissemination of misleading environmental information, has been shown to adversely affect firm performance, particularly in terms of profitability and long-term sustainability. Using data from companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022, the study employs panel data analysis to examine the relationship between greenwashing, firm performance, and the influence of multiple directorships. The findings reveal that greenwashing significantly harms firm performance, as measured by Return on Assets (ROA). However, the presence of multiple directorships, while positively associated with firm performance, does not exhibit a statistically significant impact. Additionally, the moderating effect of multiple directorships on the relationship between greenwashing and firm performance is found to be negative but insignificant. These results suggest that while greenwashing poses a substantial risk to corporate financial health, the role of multiple directorships in mitigating or exacerbating this effect remains limited. The study highlights the importance of stricter Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting standards to curb greenwashing practices and enhance corporate transparency.
