Abstract

Madrasah IIbtidaiyah students are children aged 6-12 years where at this age the period of growth and development determines the maturity of the class both in terms of physical, mental and intelligence. Children are expected to be able to grow and develop according to their age stage which includes aspects of cognitive development, language, art, physical motoric, social emotional as well as religious and moral values. So that children need education in stages and continuously. Social skills are one aspect of development that must be possessed by children so that children can interact and socialize properly in their environment according to applicable norms. But in reality there are still many children who have low social skills. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research type involving students and teachers, the subject of this research is MIS Miftahul Falah Sendang Senori Tuban students, the data collection method is by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study were that the initial condition of MIS Miftahul Falah Sendang Senori Tuban students showed that of the 83 students, 12 students had a low level of social skills. Giving rewards is effective in increasing students' social skills, this is shown by changes in the behavior and words of students with low social skills, getting better when rewards are no longer given. Efforts to improve students' social skills through the application of giving rewards at MIS Miftahul Falah Sendang Senori Tuban include planning containing RPPH, implementation containing opening learning activities, core activities, and evaluation activities on indicators of developmental aspects, and closing activities, and the last is an evaluation of the implementation reward which includes the form of the reward, the time of giving the reward and the strategy for implementing the reward. The effectiveness of giving rewards in an effort to improve students' social skills is shown by changes in students' behavior and speech for the better.

Abstract

This research and development aims to increase the effectiveness of learning in class IV SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang. The development of Islamic comic-based learning media aims to (1) produce learning media products by describing the media development process, (2) describe the level of feasibility of learning media, and (3) describe the level of effectiveness of learning media in the science material subject force and motion of Muhammadiyah 9 "Panglima Sudirman" Malang fourth grade elementary school students.This study refers to the Borg and Gall research model by adopting six main steps, namely: 1) needs analysis, 2) media development, 3) media testing, 4) media revision, 5) field testing, and 6) implementation. Data analysis used the Linkert scale for media eligibility data and SPSS 16.0 for Windows for media effectiveness data. Islamic comic-based learning media has been declared valid by experts. Attendance from stage I test material experts was 79%, stage II test material experts were 100%, linguists were 100%, media design experts were 100%, and learning practitioners or class teachers were 100%. The application of learning media was carried out in 3 stages, namely small group tests with 4 students, medium groups with 16 students, and large groups with 19 students in the control class and 19 students in the experimental class. Islamic comic-based learning media effectively improves student learning outcomes in class IV Al Batani as an experimental class, which is 90.56 with an increase in the average value of 21.18%, starting from 74.73 to 90.56.

Abstract

Humans have multiple intelligences, one of the human intelligence that significantly determines the success and safety of his life is Spiritual Intelligence. Spiritual Intelligence was coined by a physicist from Oxford University named Marshall after years of research. After that, scientific evidence about Spiritual intelligence was found successively by experts in other fields. Like other intelligence, Spiritual intelligence can also be trained, honed, and sharpened through education. Thus, because the environment first known by humans is the family, the family is most likely to take on the role of Spiritual intelligence education. The steps for Spiritual Intelligence education have also been formulated by education experts, including education experts in Indonesia, including by taking steps including 1) Zero Mind Process, 2) Mental Building, 3) Personal Strength, and 4) Total Application. This research is library research, utilizing library sources to obtain data and research. Library research is limited to library collection materials without the need for field research.

Abstract

Education in society in character formation has three normal qualities, including competence (communication skills, listening competence, and cooperation competence), will/desires, and good moral habits. Character building at M.I Nurul Ulum, Kerpangan Village, Leces District, Probolinggo Regency is one of the educational institutions under the auspices of the pesantren, and M.I Nurul Ulum adopts many activities and habits from the pesantren. This study aimed to find out Civics Learning at MI Nurul Ulum in improving student character in the tradition of the kerpangan village Islamic boarding school, Leces sub-district, Probolinggo district. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation. Citizenship Education is a compulsory subject from elementary to tertiary education because Civics is the cultural moral of the Indonesian nation, which is based on the precepts in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. The characteristics expected from the pesantren tradition of Civics learning are our love for the motherland, compassion, love, peace, responsibility, independence, equality, honesty, and humility.Keywords: Civics Learning, Student Character

Abstract

Development of Learning Curriculum Textbooks to Increase Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Students' Understanding of Learning Curriculum subjects at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is one of the means to help students understand and improve pedagogical abilities. The need to provide interesting and creative learning media in a lesson that aims to increase students' understanding and grades is one of the reasons behind this development research. This research and development method uses research and development (R&D) research. The procedure for developing this research uses a model, namely the Borg and Gall model. This research was conducted at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The development results were a book, "Introduction to the Learning Curriculum," for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education students. (1) the results of this research and development meet the valid criteria with the acquisition of validity, material experts obtain 90%, and design experts obtain 88% (2) trial results to assess the attractiveness of the book "Introduction to Learning Curriculum" developed for students in the Teacher Education Study Program Madrasah Ibtidaiyah by 90%. (3) student learning outcomes increased, as seen from the pre-test results of 71.90 and the post-test score of 87.10; it can be said that the book "Introduction to Learning Curriculum" is appropriate for students.

Abstract

The development of a graphic design textbook based on life skills for students of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is one of the means to help students understand and improve their pedagogical and creative abilities. This research and development aimed to (1) describe the process of developing a life skills-based graphic design textbook for students, (2) determine the level of attractiveness of life skills-based graphic design for students, and (3) determine the effect of life skills-based graphic design for students. This research and development method uses research and development (R&D) research. The procedure for developing this research uses a model, namely the Borg and Gall model. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the development carried out were in the form of a book "Advanced Graphic Design for Beginners" for students of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The results of this research and development meet the valid criteria with the acquisition of validity; materials experts get 88%, and design experts get 90%. The test results to assess the attractiveness of the book "Advanced Graphic Design for Beginners" developed for students at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang was 90%. Student learning outcomes increased from the pre-test results of 67.28 and the post-test scores of 86.98. It can be said that the book "Advanced Graphic Design for Beginners" is appropriate for students to use.

Abstract

Every effective, inventive, and creative educational procedure will result in high-caliber students. Hence, every instructor should be able to instruct using a good, student-friendly learning model so that when learning is implemented, pupils can do so successfully. Apart from selecting the learning model to be utilized, the teacher must have innovative ideas and methods for creating instructional materials that will be delivered to students, especially in English content, if they are to follow the learning process with ease. One of these involves employing educational media. Students will be able to follow the learning process with excitement and fun if appropriate learning materials are used, which will prevent them from becoming disinterested. With the "APE media Secret Food Chain Box," this problem-based learning can be carried out. Problem-based learning, where problems from a lesson are used to help students build their problem-solving skills and also.

Abstract

The process of memorizing and translating the Quran is essential for Muslims to understand and practice the teachings of the religion. Memorizing the Quran can be done through various methods, such as individual or group memorization, using technology, or with the guidance of a teacher. Translating the Quran is also essential for understanding the meaning of the verses in a more easily understood language. There are several approaches to solving the Quran, such as translating verse by verse or using commentary to understand the context of the verse. Both processes are ways to enhance understanding and implementation of the teachings of the Quran in daily life.

Abstract

Report analysis and use of the results of the tahfizh assessment at SD Tahfizh Qur’an Taman Cinta Al-Qur'an in Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The method used in this research is descriptive evaluative qualitative method. The subjects studied were school principals, curriculum deputy heads, tahfizh coordinators, tahfizh teachers, grade IV and grade V students. Data collection techniques were by means of observation, interviews and semi-structures. Data processing techniques are carried out by reducing data, displaying data and concluding. Checking the validity of the data in this study used triangulation of sources and techniques. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the evaluation of the Tahfizh Qur'an program at SDTQ Taman Cinta Al-Qur'an; (1) The planning is through the school's vision and mission. (2) The implementation is by way of memorizing, tahsin recitations, tasmi', muroja'ah, and connecting verse tests. (3) The evaluation is carried out by means of per-juz evaluation, per-letter evaluation, sima'an evaluation, weekly evaluation, monthly evaluation and special evaluation.

Abstract

As an effort to improve the quality of education, the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) IAIN Palangka Raya implements a field practice program or apprenticeship which is divided into 3 stages, namely apprentice 1, apprentice 2, and apprentice 3. The field practice program is one of the courses that must be completed by students with the aim of preparing professional student human resources. This study aims to explain the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the field practice program (internship) for PGMI study program students at SD/MI in Palangka Raya City. The method in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research was conducted in 5 schools in SD/MI Palangka Raya City. The results of this study are planning a field practice program carried out by forming an apprenticeship committee, searching for, visiting, assigning, holding meetings between lecturers and apprentice agencies, preparing applications for internship placements and sending them to schools, grouping apprentices along with supervisors, handing over student apprentices, preparation of apprenticeship programs, as well as orientation and observation in schools under the guidance of tutors. As for the implementation of apprentice 1, namely observing school administration, apprentice 2 being an observer and assistant teacher, and apprentice 3 teaching practicum directly. The evaluation of apprenticeship activities is the merging of apprentice 1 to apprentice 2.
