Improving the quality of education cannot be separated from teaching aids as teaching media, one of which is image media. Here the image media can be used to improve students' mastery of the material. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of image media in science learning to improve students' mastery of the material and analyze the impact on the use of image media. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of SDN 12 Mundam Sakti, totaling 25 students. This study uses an instrument of observation and test results. The application of image media can attract students' attention in identifying the Animal Life Cycle, this can be seen from the increased activity and collaboration of students in discussions. The maximum application of image media can increase student mastery, while the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 66.4 increase to 83.6 in the second cycle and the classical mastery target is achieved by 70%. From these results it can be concluded that using image media can improve learning outcomes of fourth graders at SDN Mundam Sakti in 2019/2020.

Talking about education issues, it will not be separated from the learning process in the classroom. Science learning is a human effort in understanding the universe through precise observations on the target, and using the right procedures, and explained with valid reasoning so that the correct conclusions are produced. PBL (Problem Based Learning) is a learning model that accommodates student involvement in authentic learning and problem solving. The application of the PBL learning model to the fifth grade science subject at SDN 04 Muaro Paiti based on the results of research conducted by PBL model researchers can improve student learning outcomes by using several steps. In the PBL model, the teacher acts as a facilitator to guide learning, and students become the main learning center. The application of the PBL learning model can improve science learning outcomes for class V SDN 04 Muaro Paiti, both cognitive, affective, psychomotor earning outcomes.

As an effort to improve student learning outcomes in the learning process, one of them is by using learning media. Image is one of the learning media that can be used in learning. Picture media is a medium that is often used by teachers in delivering subject matter. So the image media is the media used to visualize or distribute messages from the source to the recipient (student). By using image media, students can understand the material presented by the teacher and are able to improve student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are when someone has learned there will be a change in behavior in that person.

This research was carried out with the aim of describing the increase in learning outcomes of harmonious living material after being given learning with the Make A Match model in grade 1 odd semester students of SD Negeri 2 Girimarto. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which includes several stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting which are always carried out in each cycle. Data collection techniques in the form of observation documents and interviews. The results of the study with the average student learning outcomes initially 66 then increased to 75.33 in the first cycle and 80.66 in the second cycle. And with the percentage of student learning completeness initially 20% then increased to 53.33% in the first cycle and 86.66% in the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Make A Match learning model is more effective in improving the learning outcomes of harmonious living material for Civics Class 1 odd semester students at SD Negeri 2 Girimarto for the 2020/2021 academic year, Girimarto District, Wonogiri Regency.

Education in elementary schools is the initial foundation for students to get education in the next stage. The results of the education process in junior and senior high school are much dependent on how learning in elementary schools is designed by teachers. Therefore, it is important for teachers to apply appropriate learning models that match to the characteristics of the students and able to improve the students' thinking skills. Many learning methods or models have been used by teachers, especially those teaching in elemenatry schools to improve the students' higher order thinking (HOTS) skill. One of the learning models applied is the Problem Based Learning (PBL). Through this model, the students will be exposed to the real problem, and in groups they will analyze why the problem occurs, what factors trigger its occurence, and how to solve the problem. This model is expected to improve the students‘ high-level thinking skill and initiate collaboration that are certainly adjusted to the capability of elementary school students.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model to improve mathematics learning outcomes for second grade students at SDN 31 VII Koto Sungai Sarik. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The learning outcomes of cognitive aspects in the first cycle have increased from the initial ability test with an average value of 60.23% to 86.74%. The affective aspect of learning outcomes obtained an average score of 21.07% in the sufficient category and the psychomotor aspect learning outcomes obtained an average score of 24.57% in the sufficient category. So there is an increase in learning outcomes from the initial ability test to the first cycle, which is 26.51%. In cycle II, learning outcomes have increased again, namely in the cognitive aspect with an average value of 86.74%; affective aspect with an average score of 28.43% in good category; and psychomotor aspect learning outcomes with an average score of 32.62% in the good category. These results indicate that the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics class 2 SDN 31 VII Koto Sungai Sarik.

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons in elementary grade IV with mathematics media in fractional addition arithmetic operations. The research conducted is Classroom Action Research (CAR) as much as 2 cycles. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Each meeting was conducted pre-test and post-test to determine the progress of students. In the first cycle, the students who completed the post test were 62.5%. In cycle II, students who completed the post-test were 100%. These results indicate that through realia media, fractional addition arithmetic operations can improve fourth grade learning outcomes at SD Negeri 1 Kayuloko.

The purpose of this study is to prove that learning outcomes to calculate the area of a flat shape can be increased through the use of Peer Tutor learning methods for second grade students of SDN 2 Kismantoro in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research was conducted with a total of 21 students. This research was carried out for 2 cycles where each cycle was carried out in 2 meetings. The design of the research implementation was carried out through four stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The results of the observations were discussed with colleagues to find out the improvements that occurred during the research. The results obtained at the end of the second cycle in the form of an increase in the achievement of learning process indicators, namely activeness 76.19.%, enthusiasm 85.71%, and independence 85.71%. Students who have high/very high motivation are 85.71%. The average student learning outcomes reached 76.67 with classical completeness reaching 90.48%. From the results of these studies, it can be concluded that the motivation and learning outcomes to calculate the area of polygons can be increased through the Peer Tutor learning method.

Mathematics subjects need to be given to students starting from elementary school to equip students with the ability to think logically, analytically, systematically, critically and creatively. In general, the approach to teaching mathematics still uses a conventional approach, students are only trained to work on problems and prioritize memorization rather than understanding. In addition, the learning process tends to be textbook and less related to everyday life, as a result, students do not understand mathematical concepts. Another factor that affects the process of learning mathematics is the stage of development of thinking in elementary school students is not yet formal or still concrete. Based on these problems, a learning model that is able to overcome them is needed, namely the realistic mathematics learning model (PMR), namely mathematics learning that is oriented to everyday experience and applying mathematics in everyday life. Realistic mathematics learning provides opportunities for students to find concepts in mathematics. Thus, realistic mathematics learning will have a very high contribution to students' understanding and students' thinking abilities.
