Abstract

This study purpose to improve learning outcomes in Science Theme 9 Sub-theme 2 about the solar system in grade VI students of SD Negeri 1 Rawoh, Karangrayung District, 2019/2020 academic year. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) model which is carried out in 2 cycles. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes using the STAD (Student Teach Achievement Division) cooperative method. In the pre-cycle stage of 24 students who achieved learning completeness 6 students (25%). Then in the first cycle of learning completeness reached 17 students (70.83%) and in the second cycle there was an increase to 23 students (95.83%). So the conclusion of this study shows that learning with the STAD type cooperative method improves science learning outcomes about the solar system in grade VI students of SD Negeri 1 Rawoh, Karangrayung District, semester II of the 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the creativity and learning outcomes of students in mathematics. To achieve the goal, the researcher used Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles at Harapan Bangsa Elementary School. Data analysis techniques are qualitative and quantitative descriptions. The results of the research in the first cycle of creativity which was 4 were 11 students. In cycle II the average creativity increased, namely 30 students or 100% got an average of 4. Before being given the complete learning action, it was 46% or 14 students. After being given an action using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by a treasure map in the first cycle, the learning completeness increased to 77% or 23 students. In the second cycle, classical mastery of learning increased to 80% or 24 students. The increase in creativity and student learning outcomes is due to the teacher using the Problem Based Learning model well. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested to the principal to provide training in contemporary methods.

Abstract

In learning science, the problem that arises is how to make learning and presenting science concepts fun for students. For success in learning, learning must be fun, namely the material presented to students already exists in their daily lives. Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is a learning approach that links the material being taught with students' real world situations and encourages students make connections between the knowledge learned and its implementation in their daily lives. The application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in science learning is to apply a learning that includes all the components contained in Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). In the implementation of learning, the teacher maximizes the learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved in accordance with the Competency Standards and student conditions. Through learning using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach, it is hoped that students can find solutions to problems from the knowledge they have, and it makes students play an active role when the teaching and learning process takes place.

Abstract

The aim this research to improve learning outcomes in learning Social Science Basic Competencies of types of work with discussion methods and image media in class III SD Negeri 02 Tegalsari, Ampelgading District, Pemalang Regency. The research was carried out in two cycles, namely Cycle I was held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 and Cycle II was held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Each cycle consisted of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this class action research are third grade students of SDN 02 Tegalsari. Learning outcomes in this study have increased after using the discussion method and picture media, as indicated by the completeness score of 30 students, 27 or 90% of students completed the study with the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 70. In the previous study only 14 or 47% of students who complete in learning. Thus the use of discussion methods and media images can improve learning outcomes of Social Sciences.

Abstract

purpose of this classroom action research is to explain the use of the lecture method with audiovisual media to increase learning motivation and learning achievement in 2nd grade elementary school students. The procedures in each cycle include the stages of Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. Data from observations and written tests were analyzed by describing the values between cycles, so that the results could reach the completion limit according to performance indicators, namely 1) Student motivation can meet the assessment standards, 2) Learning achievement from written tests at least reaches KKM, namely 68, average grade 80 average, and classical completeness 90%. The action research conducted in two cycles showed that the motivation of students in learning in the pre-cycle was 46% (less) to 63% (moderate) in the first cycle, and 75% (good) in the second cycle. Learning achievement increased from the average pre-cycle score of 59 to 67 in the first cycle, and 80 in the second cycle. The level of learning mastery of students classically is increasing, from 20% pre-cycle to 50% in the first cycle, and 90% in the second cycle. Based on the actions taken, it can be concluded as follows: 1) The use of the lecture method with audiovisual media can increase the learning motivation of grade 2 elementary school students from pre-cycle to cycle I by 17% to cycle II by 14%. 2) The use of the lecture method with audiovisual media can improve the learning achievement of grade 2 elementary school students, from pre-cycle to cycle I by 8% to cycle II by 13%.

Abstract

Based on the author's observations in class V SD Negeri 30 Sungai Limau, student learning outcomes in science subjects tend to be low seen from the results of formative tests and daily tests carried out. This is caused by several things, namely a small number of students who are able to understand science lessons, students are less active in participating in the teaching and learning process, and teachers do not use varied media in learning. This research is a classroom action research (CAR), by analyzing descriptively. This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in the subject of Natural Sciences (IPA) using picture media in class V SD Negeri 30 Sungai Limau. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 30 Sungai Limau, totaling 20 students. The research was conducted in two cycles with the following steps: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of data analysis obtained from student learning tests showed an increase in students' science learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the average score of students was 68.50 with new learning completeness reaching 60%. In the second cycle, the average score of students increased to 79.75 and learning completeness had reached 90%. The findings of this study indicate that the use of image media in science learning can improve science learning outcomes for fifth grade students at Sungai Limau Elementary School.

Abstract

This Indonesian language has skills, one of which is skimming skills that must be mastered by students in elementary school at SDN 02 Sariak. In this study, it was found that the students of SD 02 Sariak in speed reading were found to be problematic in the form of internal and external factors from the students themselves. Speed reading has goals and benefits for students, one of which is to increase intelligence. The solution to overcome this problem is by providing an innovative library space, holding a speed reading competition by the school between classes.
