Abstract

Abstract: This article is intended to reveal the core problems that exist in Madrasas as the root obstacles in improving the quality of madrasas. The results of the study show that Madrasas are faced with a dilemma as an educational institution. As an educational institution, Madarasas should be given broad authority in managing madrasas, especially now in the era of regional autonomy. In the current era of autonomy, one of the concepts that can be applied to improve the quality of education is school-based management. SBM is a strategy to make schools of higher quality by giving broad authority to Madrasas. Even though Madrasahs are under the auspices of the Department of Religion, the SBM concept can still be implemented based on the suitability of SBM as a strategy to overcome Madrasah problems. Implementing Madrasah-Based Management is intended to improve the quality of madrasas as Islamic educational institutions. Keywords: management, quality, madrasah

Abstract

Abstract: Citizenship Education (Civics) in schools is very important in relation to the character building of students and a strategic role in increasing the potential of students to become good and democratic citizens based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. this study aims to explore the role of Civics in overcoming bullying in schools, especially in optimizing the application of Civics in preventing bullying behavior. This research is a qualitative study using the library research method. The result of this study is that civic education has an important role in overcoming bullying, both directly and indirectly. Civic education can help students develop state awareness, have an awareness of their rights and obligations as citizens, and have the ability to deal with various situations, including bullying situations. Abstract

Islamic education has an important role in shaping the character and noble character of the younger generation. To achieve this goal, effective and efficient teamwork management is needed in the learning and coaching process. Teamwork management is an important aspect in the success of an organization. An effective team can increase productivity, creativity and innovation. This paper discusses teamwork management in Islamic education, including the basics of the Qur'an and Sunnah, the principles of teamwork management, and strategies for its application in education.

Abstract

This service was carried out in the Rumbai Bukit Village. It will be held on September 30, 2022. This service is a follow-up to the MOA of the Faculty of Economics, Unilak, with the Rumbai Bukit Village in implementing the Tri Dharma of higher education. The choice of training on processing organic waste into eco enzyme was due to the fact that villagers in Rumbai Bukit Village had not received education about waste management. So this is considered important, because if viewed globally, waste is an issue that is still being discussed in recent times. Households are the biggest contributor to waste generation in densely populated areas such as Pekanbaru. So, one of the solutions to reduce waste generation is to process waste from home. One way is to turn waste into eco enzymes. The service was carried out on September 30 2022, with the service partners being PKK members of the Rumbai Bukit Village. Followed by 29 participants, this activity went very well. The transfer of knowledge on making eco enzyme was carried out very well. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaires distributed before and after the training. Prior to the training, most of the participants did not know what eco enzyme was, both how to make it and the benefits of eco enzyme. After the dedication, almost all participants understood and understood how to make eco enzymes and the benefits of these eco enzyme. Keywords: Eco enzyme, household waste, organic waste

Abstract

The level of legal awareness and citizens' obedience to the law can show the progress of a country. The life of society and the country will be more orderly if the legal awareness and legal obedience of the population is higher. These factors of legal awareness and legal compliance play an important role in legal progress; The level of public legal awareness is negatively correlated with the level of legal compliance, and conversely, the level of public legal awareness is negatively correlated with the level of legal compliance. Public legal awareness will create an effective law enforcement environment, which can provide a sense of justice, create legal certainty in society, and provide justice. The aim of legal counseling is to increase public legal awareness through legal consultations, collaborating with local legal consultants, and disseminating information about law in Tebet District, South Jakarta City. Abstract

Understanding the philosophical assumptions in social research, whether “positivist” or “interpretive,” is crucial as these foundations shape the way researchers approach, design, and conduct their studies, impacting every aspect from the selection of research design to the interpretation of findings. This community service activity (PKM) focused on enhancing young researchers' understanding of “positivist social science” (PSS) assumptions in selecting quantitative research designs at PTN XYZ, a public university in Riau Province. Discussions with a faculty leader revealed difficulties in publishing quantitative research in reputable international journals, primarily due to a lack of understanding of these philosophical assumptions. To address this, the PKM team organized online training for 18 researchers, covering key topics such as the philosophical foundations of science, PSS approaches in social science, reasons for the acceptance or rejection of research reports by the scientific community, and the research process in quantitative design. The effectiveness of the training was evaluated using a pretest-posttest approach, with initial findings showing only 5% of participants correctly understood the reasons for using a quantitative design. However, post-training results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, ensuring the research contributes meaningfully and relevantly to the field. Abstract

Effective communication with Housemaid is an important factor in carrying out their work. LPK Budi Mulia is a distributor of Housemaid labor in Pekanbaru who received complaints from service users regarding the performance of Housemaid. The complaints received were that they behaved impolitely, often used cell phones while working, liked to interrupt conversations, were dishonest, spoke with bad expressions and some even did not understand what the employer was talking about, resulting in misunderstandings. The diversity of cultures, ethnicities, personalities and other differences of Housemaid is the cause of misunderstandings so providing knowledge about communication needs to be done. Housemaid are given knowledge about verbal and non-verbal communication as well as effective ways to behave so they can improve performance. Keywords: communication, Housemaid, performance

Abstract

Important for teachers to adopt information technology in the learning process in the 21st Century. Teachers are also required to have adequate pedagogical competence where in carrying out learning it is hoped that it is not teacher centered but student centered and technology based. One of the learning frameworks developed by focusing on technology, pedagogy and teaching materials is TPACK. This research aims to describe the concept and implementation of TPACK in learning in junior high schools. The research method is descriptive qualitative research with a literature study method. The findings show that there are seven components in the TPACK concept, namely technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, content knowledge, technological pedagogical knowledge, technological content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, and technological pedagogical content knowledge. The form of implementation of TPACK in junior high schools is carried out in various ways that utilize technology in the learning process, such as the use of animated videos in learning. The implementation of TPACK has had high success in supporting the achievement of learning objectives so it is hoped that teachers can use this model to improve student learning outcomes. Community ServiceCommunity Service (PkM) is basically the social responsibility of the higher education academic community to help the community solveacademic community of higher education to help the community in solvingproblems faced or in developing their potentials.that they have. Within this framework, the community service activities ofcommunity service activities of the Faculty of Economics and Business Pattimura University organized "Village Accounting Training forState Government Apparatus in the South Leitimur District of Ambon City".The objectives of organizing this PkM are to: 1) improveinsights, knowledge, and abilities of the state government apparatus through alternativeaccounting learning alternatives as a basis for understanding in organizing accounting records according to generally accepted accounting principles and preparing financial reports.accounting principles and prepare financial statements; and 2) provide knowledge, and technical accounting skills to civil servants so that they can be accountable to the government.apparatus so that they can accurately account for the realization of the APBDes implementation.accurately. ActivityThis training was held for 2 days, from August 30 to 31, 2023, and was attended by 32 (64%) of the target audience.(64%) of the target audience. The implementation of this training activity was carried outusing lecture, discussion, question and answer, and simulation methods. Activities"Village Accounting Training for State Government Officials in the District of Leitimur Selatan Leitimur Selatan Ambon City" went well. All participants were enthusiasticattended the event until the end and felt the benefits of this training.The participants also considered that the training was important and verynecessary for local government officials and other stakeholders. The participants also hoped that similar training can be conducted intensively again in the future with more participants, and more applicable material design related to the participants' daily tasks. Abstract

This research aims to determine the Business Success of food entrepreneurs in Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru, using the variables Business Experience and Entrepreneurial Skills to analyze their influence on Business Success. The population in this research is all food business actors who run food businesses in Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City, the exact number of which is not yet known. For an unknown population, the sample size in this study used the Wibisono formula and a sample of 97 people. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire method, namely by providing a list of statements to respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis operated through the SPSS 20 for Windows program. The results of the research show that simultaneously and partially the variables Business Experience and Entrepreneurial Skills have a significant effect on Entrepreneurial Success among food business actors in Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru.
