Abstract

Objective: This study aims to explore the impact of Human System Interaction (HSI) on Decision Making Effectiveness within Management Information Systems (MIS). It seeks to understand how system usability, interface design, and user engagement influence the quality and efficiency of decisions made through MIS. Research Method: A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing a survey of 200 MIS users across different sectors. Data was gathered using a Likert scale questionnaire to measure HSI and Decision-Making Effectiveness. The relationship between these variables was analyzed through regression analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to evaluate the strength and significance of HSI in improving decision outcomes. Results: The study found a significant positive relationship between HSI and Decision-Making Effectiveness, with HSI explaining 60% of the variance in decision quality (β = 0.78, p < 0.01). Participants who rated the system higher in terms of usability and design were more likely to report better decision-making. These findings emphasize the critical role of user centered system design in enhancing decision quality within organizations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, kebijakan dividen, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan kebijakan utang sebagai variabel moderasi pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019–2021. Berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan, terdapat 28 perusahaan yang dijadikan sampel penelitian. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data dokumenter dari laporan keuangan. Analisis dilakukan melalui regresi linier dan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) setelah uji asumsi klasik, uji kelayakan model, dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan kebijakan dividen dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan. Kebijakan utang mampu memoderasi pengaruh profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan, tetapi tidak terhadap kebijakan dividen.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of women's life expectancy on the total number of poor people in Indonesia from a human resource management perspective. Female education is seen as a strategic investment in human resources that can improve skills, productivity, and economic decision-making capacity, thereby contributing to poverty reduction. A quantitative approach was applied in this study, accompanied by the use of secondary data in the form of time series obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) during the period 2014–2024. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, with simple linear regression analysis. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing using t-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) processed using SPSS version 25. This study found that the average years of education of women had a significant negative effect on the total poor population in Indonesia. This finding indicates that improving women's education contributes to encourage improvements in the quality of human resources and reduce poverty levels in the society. However, poverty is also influenced by other structural and economic factors, so the development of women's education needs to be supported by job creation and inclusive economic policies.

Abstract

Perusahaan konstruksi diwajibkan untuk menyelesaikan proyek tepat waktu dan sesuai target, namun masalah disiplin karyawan sering menjadi hambatan dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut. Di PT. Ravana Jaya, tingkat keterlambatan dan absensi karyawan masih tinggi, yang berdampak pada penyelesaian proyek yang kurang optimal. Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara disiplin kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kondisi disiplin kerja karyawan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi disiplin kerja di PT. Ravana Jaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe fenomenologis. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja, yang meliputi ketepatan waktu, kepatuhan terhadap peraturan, dan tanggung jawab kerja, memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung peningkatan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important indicator of organizational effectiveness, particularly in public sector institutions that rely on human resources to support administrative services and digital governance. Work motivation and organizational communication are considered key factors that can influence employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work communication on employee performance at the Department of Communication and Informatics of East Kalimantan Province. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 94 employees selected using simple random sampling from a population of 123 employees. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results show that work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance (Sig. = 0.035). Work communication also has a significant effect on employee performance (Sig. = 0.038). Furthermore, work motivation and work communication simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance. These findings indicate that strengthening employee motivation and improving communication within the organization play an important role in enhancing employee performance in government institutions. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Halal Labels, Electronic Word of Mouth and Product Attributes on Purchasing Decisions of Halal Cosmetic Products. This type of research is classified as quantitative research. The independent variables in this study consisted of Halal Labels, Electronic Word of Mouth and Product Attributes. While the dependent variable is the Purchase Decision. The respondents used in this study were 124 respondents who had purchased and used halal cosmetic products, namely wardah. All question items used in this study proved to be valid and reliable after being tested for validity and reliability tests. The data analysis tool used in this study uses IBM SPSS Statistics 21. Data analysis in this study uses Multiple Regression Analysis. In the classical assumption test, this research is normally distributed, the regression model does not occur multicollinearity and does not occur heteroscedasticity. The results of this study indicate that the Halal Label has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions, Electronic Word of Mouth has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions, Product Attributes have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions. Based on the results of testing the data, all hypotheses in this study are supported.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand awareness, brand image, and influencer marketing on electric bicycle purchasing decisions in Jepara.             The research method used a quantitative approach with purposive sampling techniques involving 100 respondents who are electric bicycle users in the Jepara area. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through SmartPLS 4 software.             The results showed that brand awareness, brand image, and influencer marketing had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a p-value < 0.05. Influencer marketing has the most dominant influence, followed by brand awareness and brand image. The research model is able to explain 65% of the variation in electric bicycle purchase decisions. This study provides a theoretical contribution in strengthening consumer behavior theory and a practical contribution for business actors in developing marketing strategies based on brand strength and collaboration with relevant influencers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of perceived value, lifestyle, motivation, and brand image on purchasing decisions of iPhone smartphones in Pekalongan. The research is based on consumer behavior theory which explains that purchasing decisions are influenced by psychological and personal factors such as perceived value, lifestyle, motivation, and brand image. The study seeks to identify which variables significantly influence consumer purchasing decisions toward iPhone products. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed online via Google Forms to 126 respondents who are iPhone users in Pekalongan using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.1.1.6 software. Measurement of responses was conducted using a Likert scale to evaluate respondents’ perceptions of the research variables. The results show that lifestyle, motivation, and perceived value have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions of iPhone smartphones in Pekalongan. Among these variables, motivation has the strongest influence on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, brand image does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. The findings indicate that consumers tend to consider functional benefits, personal needs, and lifestyle compatibility rather than brand image when deciding to purchase an iPhone smartphone.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of halal transportation, halal procurement, and halal manufacturing on sustainable operational excellence (SOE) in the halal cosmetics industry at PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, moderated by SARS-CoV-2 pandemic risk mitigation strategies. It examines how halal supply chain practices enhance operational efficiency, consistency, and sustainability amid mandatory halal certification and global market dynamics. Employing an explanatory quantitative cross-sectional design, the study surveyed 227 employees from the company's halal supply chain divisions via purposive sampling and a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), including outer/inner model evaluations, product indicator moderation tests, and bootstrapping at α=5%. Findings reveal significant positive effects of halal transportation (H1: t=3.45>1.96), halal procurement (H2: t=4.12>1.96), and halal manufacturing (H3: t=5.23>1.96) on SOE (R²=0.520), while pandemic mitigation does not moderate these relationships (H4-H6 insignificant). These results underscore halal practices' role in driving SOE for Indonesia's halal cosmetics sector.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of brand image, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), and price on the decision to purchase World Tour reverie in jakrta concert tickets on EXO’s Baekhyun fans. The study used a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique for 50 respondents who had purchased concert tickets. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS 27 with multiple linear regression analyses. Research results show that partial brand images have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while e-WOM and pricing have no significant effect. However, simultaneous brand iamge, e-WOMs, and prices have a significant effect on the decision to purchase concert tickects.
