This study aims to: (1) find out whether collocation improves students' vocabulary competence (2) find the type of collocation that is most developed in students' vocabulary competence. This research combined qualitative data and quantitative data, where quantitative data was used to support qualitative data. The subject in this research were high school students of grade XI Wellington Intelligence School. The number of students was 39 students consisting of two classes (22 students in science class and 17 students in social class). The instruments used consist of interviews, observations, documents, and tests. This study adopted descriptive statistics to describe the main features of the data set. The average score of each test, including pre-test and post-test, were used to analyze the data. The results showed that collocation can improve students' vocabulary competence. The students' initial average was 70 for science students and 68.23 for social students. While the final average value showed an increase in the value of 82.72 for science students and 80.58 for social studies students. There were more student errors in the interpretation of lexical collocations than in the interpretation of grammatical collocations. This study deals with turn taking strategies. The study aims to investigate the types of turn taking strategies used by lecturers ans students, to find out how turn taking strategy realized and to identify the dominant types used by lecturers and students. This studey uses descriptive qualitative research design which employed two data collection techniques, i.e. observation and video recording. The number of data that containing types of turn taking strategy is 200 data. The data are, then, analyzed by using theory from Strenstrom (2001). Techniques of analyzing data is by classifying the data based on their types, then the data will be count in each category to make the analysis more comprehensive by knowing which category ranks the highest and vice versa. Finally the result will be put in findings. The results of the research indicates that: the dominant type used by lecturers in semantics class, kajian budaya and technology of translation, are prompting strategy, meanwhile in akustik dan organologi class, the lecturer used taking over and prompting strategy as the dominant types. Meanwhile the students used the same dominant types in four different class, they are taking over strategy. While the types that is not used at all in four different classes are the silent pause strategy and giving up strategy.

The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of applying THIEVES and CSR techniques to increase reading comprehension in Kingston School grade 8 students. The researcher devised a quasi-experimental study in order to fulfil the research's goal. The participants in this study were 108 eighth-grade Kingston School students, with 36 involved in the experimental group 1 who were taught reading comprehension using the THIEVES strategy, 36 involved in the experimental group 2 who were taught reading comprehension using the CSR strategy, and the remaining 36 involved in the control group who were taught reading comprehension using the conventional strategy. A pre-test and post-test with 40 multiple-choice items were included in the data collection instrument. The results were compared and examined to determine the efficacy of the two strategies. The experimental groups 1 and 2 scored higher than the control group, according to the results of a study. THIEVES and CSR techniques are both successful in boosting reading comprehension, according to the results. The statistics also indicate that the CSR method outperforms the THIEVES technique. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the effect of online learning on students' learning interest in Indonesian subjects in of Grade XII SMA Negeri 1 Selesai. The number of samples were 35 students of Grade XII MIA 4 taken from 322 of the total population. The purposive sampling technique was crried out in this study. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The simple linear analytical analysis method used in this study.The results of this study obtained that tcount value was -5.785 while the ttable value was 1.693 which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected and it can be said that online learning had a negative effect on student learning interest. The percentage of Online Learning variable influence on the Student Learning Interest variable was 0.655 or 65.50%. While the remaining 35.50% was influenced by other factors. While the value of the correlation coefficient rcount = 0.658, and it can be stated that the relationship between the Online Learning variable and the Student Learning Interest variable had a strong relationship level.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of flash card on early reading skills of first grade students at SDN 067093 Cinta Damai in academic year of 2021/2022. This research is Pre-Experimental Design. The research was conducted in October - November 2022. The sample used was 22 students which was total of the population. The data collection techniques used in this research were test, documentation and observation. The results of this study indicate that there was an effect of flash card on early reading skills of first grade students at SDN 067093 Cinta Damai. It can be proven from the results of the analysis by using t-test, showing that t count > t table , 10,864 > 1.411, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be conclude that there is an effect of flash card on early reading ability of first grade students at SDN 067093 Cinta Damai.

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Kompetensi Pedagogok Guru Kelas V di SD N 043940 Perbesi Kecamatan Tigabinanga” Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk menemukan bagaimana pelaksanaan kompetensi pedagogik guru kelas V, dikarenakan saat ini terdapat guru yang tidak menjalankan profesinya sesuai dengan kompetensi yang diharapkan. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan study kasus untuk menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari subyek/actor dan perilaku yang dapat diamati dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam dan berusaha menemukan makna yang mendasarinya mengenai pelaksanaan kompetensi pedagogik guru.kompetensi pedagogik sendiri adalah kemampuan yang dimilki oleh seorang dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran, yang mencakup perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan dapat mendorong peserta didik untuk belajar serta melaksanakan evaluasi hasil belajar yang telah dilaksanakan untuk melihat pencapaian dari pelaksanaan proses belajar itu sendiri.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup 4 tahap yaitu data collection, data reduction, data display dan Verifiying. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum kompetensi guru kelas V di SD N 043940 Perbesi belum terlaksana secara maksimal.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat kesesuaian materi dan sebaran mata kuliah yang terdapat pada Kurikulum Program Studi (Prodi) Pariwisata Budaya dan Keagamaan (PBK) - IAKN Tarutung berbasis Teologi dan Kebudayaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif dan kuantitatif diperoleh dari beberapa evaluasi yang dilakukan, pendapat dari ahli kurikulum, serta evaluasi kurikulum yang telah dikembangkan dalam instrumen kuesioner. Hal ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas Kurikulum Prodi PBK – IAKN Tarutung apakah mampu mewujudkan program atau rencana pembelajaran yang terdiri dari isi dan materi pelajaran yang terstruktur, terprogram dan terencana dengan baik yang berkaitan dengan visi dan misi Prodi tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, kurikulum Prodi PBK – IAKN Tarutung ini memiliki tingkat relevansi atau keterkaitan dengan Teologi dan Kebudayaan dalam kategori cukup sehingga Kurikulumnya masih perlu dikembangkan agar mencapai kategori sangat baik dengan persentase nilai (81% < skor < 100%).

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa adanya pengaruh antara penggunaan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Medan Johor tahun pembelajaran 2021/2022. . Dapat dilihat dari hasil hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji “t” terhadap kedua hasil belajar yang menggunakan model pembelajaran dan hasil belajar yang tidak meggunakan model pembelajaran. Dengan hasil yang diperoleh, thitung = 5,496 sedangkan ttabel dengan df 30 pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitu 1.725. Demikian thitung > ttabel (5,496 > 1.697) yang berarti hipotesis kerja dalam penelitian ini diterima, yaitu terdapat pengaruh antara model picture and picture terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SD Negeri 060938 Medan Johor. Dibuktikan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada tema “Peristiwa dalam Kehidupan, Subtema peristiwa kebangsaan seputar proklamasi kemerdekaan pada Pembelajaran 1” Posttest kelas V-B lebih tinggi dibandingkan pretest, yaitu posttes sebesar 86 > pretes sebesar 64,4.

It is an honor for parents and children themselves if the child has high ability in the field of exact sciences in the form of natural sciences and mathematics, but this is not realized that the child is only encouraged to develop left brain activities but the right brain seems to be neglected. As it is known that the human brain basically consists of two left and right hemispheres which ave different functions. The right brain tends to be related to E, interaction, communication with others, self-control, values and the nature of things. Meanwhile., the left brain tends to focus on logic, the ratio of writing, reading and mathmeatics. Between these two with different functions there is nothing wrong and both are useful. Because of that, there needs to be a balance to develop this function so that the next generation is not only good at creating new things but also thinking about the uses and effects of it.

This study deals with the discussion of vocabulary. The problem in this research is "how far is the ability of tenth graders of Al Maksum Stabat Vocational High School in understanding and remembering vocabulary. The purpose of this research is to get an overview of students' ability to master vocabulary and to find out what difficulties students face in mastering vocabulary. The population of this study was tenth grade students of SMK Al Maksum Stabat which consisted of 120 students from three parallel classes. For the sample, only 40% of the population was taken, namely 50 students. This research instrument uses an objective test. This research method is field research. After the data was analyzed, it was found that the average or mean value of the students was 78.51. It can be concluded that the ability of the tenth grade students is "good", and it is suggested that the English teacher give a lot of practice, especially with regard to vocabulary.
