TABYIN: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Ihyaul Ulum Gresik Indonesia. Terbit setiap Juni dan Desember setiap tahun. Redaksi mengundang para akademisi, dosen, maupun peneliti untuk berkontribusi dalam jurnal ini. Redaksi mengundang para akademisi, dosen, maupun peneliti untuk berkontribusi memasukkan artikel ilmiahnya yang belum pernah diterbitkan oleh jurnal lain. Naskah diketik dengan spasi 1,5 cm pada kertas ukuran A4 dengan panjang tulisan antara 20-25 halaman, 5000-7000 kata. Naskah yang masuk dievaluasi oleh dewan redaksi dan mitra bestari. Redaktur dapat melakukan perubahan pada tulisan yang dimuat untuk keseragaman format, tanpa mengubah substansinya. Bahasa yang digunakan dalam bentuk bahasa Indonesia, Inggris, dan Arab. Jurnal ini bisa diakses secara terbuka yang berarti bahwa semua konten yang tersedia bebas diakses tanpa biaya, baik kepada pengguna atau pada lembaganya. Pengguna yang diizinkan untuk membaca, mendownload, menyalin, mendistribusikan, mencetak, mencari, atau mensitasi ke teks lengkap dari artikel tidak harus meminta izin terlebih dahulu dari penerbit atau penulis.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects by implementing projection learning media. Projection media, which is a visual media, is expected to help teachers convey material more effectively and make it easier for students to understand. Through the qualitative descriptive method, student activities are observed using the observation method, while learning outcomes are measured using the question and answer method. The findings show that projection media can visualize material in a realistic way, increase student involvement, and provide support for teachers to be more creative in designing learning. It is hoped that the application of this projection media can have a positive impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the PAI learning process, as well as creating more interesting and interactive learning conditions for students.

Abstract

PAI teachers have an important role to participate in building and directing Indonesian Islam As academics of Islamic sciences, book reading skills are an inseparable part of PAI students. Unfortunately, the level of student ability is still weak. This is very unfortunate, considering that they are conditioned as scholars in the Islamic field but cannot study their field of knowledge through access to primary resources in ArabicTherefore, an android-based application development program was initiated called Proficient in Reading Books (AARAVI) for Islamic Studies students which is an alternative to facilitate the process of learning to read books. This learning media development research is based on Multimedia-based Instructional Design using the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model goes through 5 stages of research, namely: (1) Analysis (analysis); (2) Design (design); (3) Development (development); (4) Implementation (application); (5) Evaluation (evaluation).The subjects of this study were students majoring in Islamic Religious Education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang batch of 2020 who were taking the Qira'atul Polar course as many as 20 people. In this AARAVI application development research, data were collected through five data sources, namely: (1) interviews, (2) literature study, (3) questionnaires, (4) tests, and (5) documentation. In this development research, three techniques were used. data analysis, namely: (1) descriptive analysis (2) quantitative descriptive analysis, this is used to process the data obtained through a questionnaire in the form of percentages. (3) as well as the analysis technique of the paired sample t-test (if the data is normally distributed) and the Wilcoxon rank tests (if the data is not normally distributed) to measure the pre and post tests. The results of this application development research indicate that the AARAVI application is very feasible to be applied as a learning medium for reading books for PAI students. This is based on the results of the validation test of material experts in the field of study with a cumulative value of 43 out of 12 statements with a percentage of 89% which means very valid, by media experts getting a cumulative score of 40 out of 12 questions with a percentage of 83% which means very valid and by students majoring in Islamic Studies. UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as a field test is 42 of 12 statements with a percentage of 87%. which means it is very valid. There is a positive and significant difference between student learning outcomes before and after the trial. This means that learning by using the product developed is effective in order to increase student learning acquisition in reading skills, so that the product is suitable for use for Islamic Education students at the mubtadi'in level

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of habituation of dhuha prayer at MI Midanutta'lim II Jombang. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a type of case study research. The research location is at MI MI Midanutta'lim II Jombang. Data sources include primary and secondary data. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. In collecting data, this research uses observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results of this study reveal that the habituation of dhuha prayers at MI Midanutta'lim II Jombang has been carried out effectively. Because dhuha prayers are included in the effective schedule of teaching and learning activities (KBM) at MI Midanutta'lim II Jombang. According to Mrs. Habibah and Mrs. Fauziyah as religion teachers, the habituation of dhuha prayers at MI Midanutta'lim II Jombang has been very effective and smooth. Although there is no attendance of dhuha prayers, the implementation of dhuha prayers at MI Midanutta'lim II Jombang runs smoothly. The obstacles and challenges in the implementation of dhuha prayer habituation in MI Midanutta'lim II Jombang are students who are late. Those who are late will be sanctioned with 6 salam or 12 rokaat dhuha prayers. However, it is very rare for students to be late. It can be concluded that the implementation of dhuha prayer habituation at MI Midanutta'lim II Jombang has been effective.

Abstract

This study aims to address the practice of preventing religious resistance through open teaching at Bali Bina Insani Islamic Educational Institution (LPI-BBI). The issue was addressed using qualitative research with data collection methods including interviews and documentation. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that the practice of preventing religious resistance through open teaching at LPI-BBI is carried out by adopting an open attitude, including employing Hindu teachers and staff. These Hindu teachers are actively involved in the teaching and learning process at LPI-BBI. This practice is rooted in the mindset that, in the context of religious diversity, harmony must be maintained, and religious resistance must be prevented. Open teaching is practiced as a strategy to prevent religious resistance, fostering a harmonious coexistence with the predominantly non-Muslim community in the area. Consequently, teachers and students in the institution exhibit tolerance, as reflected in their daily attitudes and behaviors within the institution. LPI-BBI is also well-received by the surrounding community, which predominantly adheres to Hinduism. This approach is significant and worthy of replication in other schools.

Abstract

Multicultural education is one of the important aspects in building diversity and tolerance in society. This research aims to explore the concept of multicultural education based on local wisdom, with a focus on the tradition of Makan Berhadap in the Malay Tribe as a case study. Makan berhadap is a tradition that teaches the values of togetherness, mutual cooperation, and respect for differences. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which observes and analyzes how this tradition acts as a learning medium in introducing multicultural values to the community. The results show that the tradition of eating together is not only a place for social interaction, but also serves as an informal educational tool that teaches mutual respect, cooperation, and appreciation of diversity. Therefore, local wisdom-based multicultural education such as makan berhadap has great potential to be implemented in the formal education curriculum, in order to create a generation that is more tolerant and sensitive to cultural diversity.

Abstract

This article is to find out how the implementation of the concept of multicultural education in Madrasah, especially at MAN 2 Model Medan, what the concept of multicultural education has been done in the madrasah. So that from the concept of multicultural education that has been applied, it is hoped that students in the madrasa can understand, practice and realize a diversity in the community environment and cause an attitude of patriotism, tolerance, and mutual respect for others, even though different ethnicities, cultures, and even religions.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji peran kearifan lokal Dalihan Na Tolu dalam mendukung pendidikan akhlak Islam, khususnya dalam pembentukan karakter moral masyarakat Batak Angkola. Dalihan Na Tolu sebagai sistem nilai budaya lokal menekankan pada prinsip-prinsip penghormatan, tanggung jawab sosial, dan keseimbangan relasi antarmanusia, yang sejalan dengan ajaran Islam tentang akhlak mulia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana nilai-nilai lokal tersebut dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pendidikan akhlak Islam guna menciptakan pendekatan yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan budaya lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur terhadap sumber-sumber tentang Dalihan Na Tolu serta konsep pendidikan akhlak dalam Islam. Analisis dilakukan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi keterkaitan antara nilai-nilai budaya dan prinsip-prinsip akhlak Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara nilai-nilai Dalihan Na Tolu dan pendidikan akhlak Islam dapat memperkuat pembentukan karakter yang tidak hanya religius, tetapi juga sosial dan kontekstual. Artikel ini menegaskan pentingnya menjadikan kearifan lokal sebagai bagian dari strategi pendidikan Islam, terutama dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral kepada generasi muda yang hidup dalam lingkungan multikultural. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan akhlak Islam melalui pendekatan kearifan lokal mampu menghasilkan model pembelajaran karakter yang holistik dan berakar pada budaya masyarakat.

Abstract

This Study discusses the efforts to revitalize Islamic education in response to the increasingly complex challenges of global modernization. Modernization, marked by technological advancement, cultural globalization, and shifting social values, demands that Islamic education systems adopt adaptive strategies without compromising their core Islamic values. Using a qualitative approach based on library research, this article outlines several adaptive strategies that can be implemented by Islamic educational institutions, including the reconstruction of an integrative curriculum, transformation of pedagogy through technology, strengthening the role of teachers and institutional leadership, as well as reorientation of Islamic educational values and vision. The findings reveal that Islamic education holds great potential to become a transformative force in shaping a generation of Muslims who are excellent, moderate, and competitive in the global era. This revitalization requires the support of all stakeholders, including the government, educational institutions, educators, and the wider community.

Abstract

Education is a basic need that shapes human mindset and personality. In this era of globalization, humans are not attacked through war, but through moral destruction. This is a consideration in educating and shaping children's personalities so that they do not fall into values that are not in accordance with Islamic teachings. Instilling spiritual values is the basis for providing a foundation for children in fighting world change. This study aims to describe: 1) Methods of Instilling Values, 2) Stages of Instilling Values, and 3) Results of Instilling Spiritual Values of Students at SMP 2 Negeri Bondowoso. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that aims to describe the methods, stages, and results of instilling spiritual values in students at SMP 2 Negeri Bondowoso. The subjects of the research were students, teachers, principals, and employees of SMP 2 Negeri Bondowoso. In collecting data using interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data used are the results of interviews with schools and students, field observations, and existing documentation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan di asrama P pondok pesantren ngalah dimana santri kurang memiliki karakter mandiri santri, kemudian pembimbing di asrama P berperan berupaya melakukan pembentukan karakter mandiri santri, sehingga menarik peneliti untuk mengkaji dan melakukan peneltian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pertama untuk mendeskripsikan peran pembimbing dalam membentuk karakter mandiri santri Asrama P Pesantren Ngalah Purwosari Pasuruan. Kedua mendeskripsikan dampak peran pembimbing dalam pembentukan karakter mandiri santri Asrama P di Pondok Pesantren Ngalah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi kasus di Asrama P Pondok Pesantren Ngalah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara, kemudian analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, Penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian adalah pembimbing memiliki tiga peran utama, yakni pertama sebagai teladan para santri dalam memahami nilai-nilai positif seperti kepedulian, tanggung jawab dengan mempraktikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, kedua pembimbing sebagai sumber belajar, karena mereka menjalankan aktivitas mengajar mengaji, sosialisasi tentang praktek sholat, praktek wudhu dan pemahaman pada pelajaran-pelajaran yang ada di pondok pesantren. Ketiga pembimbing sebagai motivator sehingga santri menjadi semangat untuk memiliki karakter positif. Dampak dari peran pembimbing adalah santri telah memiliki nilai-nilai karakter positif seperti kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, tanggung jawab atas tugas dan kewajiban seperti mengatur waktu belajar, bermain, beribadah, terbentuknya karakter mandiri dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, serta terbentuknya spiritual santri yang semakin mantap.
