<![CDATA[This community service activity is carried out in the Efi-Efi Village, South Tobelo District, with the aim of providing skills and knowledge to farmers both about the use of high yielding variety of upland rice seeds and good upland rice cultivation techniques. The method used in this service is counseling about the cultivation of upland rice, the provision of high yielding variety of upland rice seeds and agricultural equipment and the making of high yielding variety of upland rice demonstration plots. Participants in this activity are the farmer women's group Efi-Efi, amounting to 20 members, who have been planting upland varieties of local upland rice. The results of the evaluation of community service activities showed that the knowledge and skills of the groups of women farmers who cultivated field rice had increased, and farmers accepted the use of high yielding variety of upland rice seeds introduced to them. In addition, there has also been a change in understanding in terms of shifting cultivation as has been done so far.]]>

<![CDATA[Perkebunan yang ada di Kecamatan Kaway XIV Aceh Barat khususnya di Desa Teupin Panah sebagian memiliki areal perkebunan yang merupakan daerah pegunungan yang berlereng dan bertebing-tebing. Areal pegunungan ini menyulitkan petani dalam hal pekerjaan penyemprotan dan pemupukan yang mutlak diperlukan dalam perkebunan kelapa sawit. Hal ini disebabkan petani harus naik turun gunung untuk melakukan pekerjaan tersebut. Selain itu para petani juga kesulitan memperoleh pupuk non organik karena harganya yang mahal. Sementara itu para petani memiliki peliharaan berupa kerbau di mana kotoran kerbau tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk permasalahan ini adalah dengan membangun kandang ternak, tower air, tower pupuk dan instalasi pemipaan untuk mendistribusikan pupuk dari puncak gunung ke areal sawit. Sumber air bersih diperoleh melalui penampungan air hujan yang dinaikkan ke tower dengan menggunakan pompa air listrik. Pendistribusian pupuk organik ke areal pohon kelapa sawit dialirkan dengan sistem saluran pipa yang memanfaatkan gaya gravitasi bumi. Dengan demikian diharapkan kesulitan pemupukan di lahan pegunungan serta mahalnya pupuk non organik dapat diatasi dan dikembangkan di kalangan petani yang memilki areal di pegunungan untuk meningkatkan produksi dan pendapatan masyarakat.]]>

<![CDATA[The quality of child development must be improved since toddlers. One tool that can be used to monitor the development of toddlers carefully, can be used Pre Development Screening Questionnaire (KPSP).The number of children under five around UNISSULA is 9 children. The problem is that most mothers do not understand correctly in stimulating and assessing their child's growth. The output produced is the application of science and technology and increasing the quantity and quality of child development.Implementation of activities with the transfer of science and technology is carried out directly on 29-30 November 2017 targeting toddlers and their mothers in the D3 Midwifery Study Program FK Unissula Semarang. The form of transfer of science and technology begins with pre-test and ends with post-test, education is delivered by providing material about the development and stimulation of children, followed by growth assessment using KPSP.The level of understanding of mothers from the pre-test and post-test results increased by 4.55%, mothers of toddlers know how to stimulate the development of their toddlers. The most important thing from this activity is the mothers will transfer or teach other mothers of children under five, both at home and in the office.]]>

<![CDATA[Anak menjadi generasi pemimpin negeri yang meneruskan cita-cita bangsa dan negara. Keberadaannya sebagai  generasi penerus bangsa harus diberikan penanaman nilai-nilai etika dan moral serta bekal pendidikan yang cukup sehingga mereka siap untuk menjadi generasi pemimpin bangas selanjutnya. Peran orang tua,  pemerintah dan juga pemangku kepentingan lainnya turut berperan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Salah satunya melalui Kelas Inspirasi yang merupakan gerakan sosial dari para profesional dengan  profesi yang beragam untuk mengajar sehari ke Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan  berbagi cerita serta pengalaman kerja. Tujuan kelas inspirasi   yaitu  memberi pengalaman belajar mengajar, membangun jejaring, meningkatkan kepekaan untuk mengatasi masalah sekitar, dan  memberikan wawasan, motivasi, inspirasi beragam cita-cita kepada siswa dan menanamkan nilai pantang menyerah, kerja keras, jujur, dan mandiri kepada siswa. Metode kegiatan ini ialah sosialisasi dan diskusi interaktif disertai dengan permainan kepada siswa sekolah Dasar Swasta YAPSI Medan Johor Kota Medan. Dalam kegiatan ini juga diberikan deskripsi tentang pekerjaan kami dengan bermain dan membuat kelompok permainan agar mereka tertarik. Dengan menggunakan alat peraga seperti poster atau animasi melalui proyektor. Dari hasil pengamatan selama kegiatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa sangat membutuhkan metode pembelajaran yang kreatif,  menyenangkan dan mereka membutuhkan ruang untuk membuka wawasan dan imajinasi terkait dunia dan masa depan mereka.]]>

<![CDATA[Untuk mencegah meningkatnya penularan Virus Corona atau COVID-19 pemerintah telah menetapkan bahwa satuan pendidikan yang berada di zona merah, oranye dan kuning dilarang melakukan proses pembelajaran tatap muka. Proses belajar dilaksanakan di rumah melalui pembelajaran jarak jauh (daring). Pada pembelajaran daring siswa dapat berinteraksi dengan guru menggunakan beberapa aplikasi salah satu diantaranya adalah Zoom Meetings. Guru bisa memanfaatkan berbagai fitur yang ada di aplikasi zoom untuk berkomunikasi secara dua arah dengan murid. Zoom merupakan aplikasi yang menyediakan layanan konferensi jarak jauh dengan menggabungkan konferensi video, pertemuan online, obrolan, hingga kolaborasi seluler. Selain itu, Zoom juga dapat bekerja pada perangkat Android, iOS, Windows, dan Mac.]]>

<![CDATA[Start at the most prestigious and prospective profession. Advocates have an important place in the business world. Apart from being a law enforcer, Advocates are also the only consultants who are relied on and trusted in solving a case at trial. In the provisions of the laws and regulations on Advocates, it is stated that the advocate profession is a profession that is tasked with providing legal services for clients. The activities and scope of activities carried out by Advocates on a daily basis require that Advocates have public speaking skills. Because the ability of an advocate to defend his client is also very much determined by his verbal / speaking skills (Public Speaking). The purpose of implementing this activity is for participants to understand the role and function of Advocates, Advocate code of ethics and the function of additional skills such as public speaking to Advocates. The implementation method is used through the socialization of the Advocate Law, the Advocate's code of ethics and the public speaking function in carrying out the role of an Advocate. The results of the implementation achieved were that participants understood the role, authority and position of an advocate, the scope of the advocate and indicators of public speaking and the use of public speaking.]]>

<![CDATA[AbstractMany OJS-based journal managers do not understand the steps that should be taken. Many still publish by relying on back issues, even though the applications used are already based on OJS. The important thing that becomes the question is how is the real management of OJS-based scientific journals? For this reason, it is very important to carry out this socialization to increase the capacity of journal managers so that they can be even better and by the applicable standards in OJS. The method of implementation is face-to-face with the presentation of material in the form of material slides. Participants who attended were journaled managers who had frequently opened the OJS application so that in general they understood how the OJS application worked. However, this participant needs to be deepened considering that several steps are often missed in journal management. The results of the socialization showed that the participants had increased their understanding of step by step journal management. This can be seen from the results of discussions or questions and answers at the end of the material presentation session. Thus it can be concluded that the journal society is ready to be operationalized or ready to accept article manuscripts from students. ]]>

<![CDATA[Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Bungong Seulanga selaku mitra sudah menghasilkan emping jagung sejak tahun 2018 namun sampai sekarang belum dikelola secara profesional. Hal ini diketahui dari hasil observasi dan wawancara bahwa pelaku agroindustri belum mengerti tentang analisis usaha dan juga tidak memahami tentang legalisasi usaha. Melalui Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, tim pengabdi bertujuan untuk: (1) Memberikan pelatihan tentang analisis usaha yang terdiri dari analisis biaya produksi, penerimaan, keuntungan, tingkat kelayakan usaha (R/C ratio), dan harga pokok penjualan (HPP) yang menguntungkan agroindustri. (2) Memberikan penyuluhan tentang legalisasi usaha berupa izin usaha, izin dinkes, dan sertifikasi halal. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan materi dan contoh kasus kemudian diikuti dengan praktek langsung dari para pelaku agroindustri. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan materi terkait dengan legalitas usaha serta membagikan modul atau brosur yang berkaitan dengan proses legalisasi usaha. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah mitra bisa melakukan analisis usaha secara sederhana dan mengerti tentang tata cara pengurusan izin usaha mikro, izin P-IRT dan sertifikasi halal. Proses pemberdayaan berlangsung dengan baik berkat dukungan dari semua pihak.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence and quality of higher education nowadays can be influenced by the high and low levels of scientific work owned by lecturers and students. This scientific work becomes very important in the existence and quality of tertiary institutions because it's ranking at the national and international level is calculated on the ownership of the scientific work. So it is not surprising that BAN-PT as an external quality assurance institution which also has the task of assessing the accreditation of higher education also includes its assessment on this matter. Thus higher education that is technically operational at the study program level also pressures lecturers and students to be productive, which is to produce as much scientific work as possible. Even some lecturers provide requirements for students to write a scientific paper when they want to propose a thesis session. However, the number of scientific works owned by lecturers and students will not mean anything when not published in a journal that uses an open journal system. This emphasis lies in the open journal system, where the meaning will be far different from online journals. In general, not many students understand how to submit scientific papers in the form of articles to the open journal system there are still many lecturers who do not understand the process in the open journal system. For this reason, knowledge transfer in the form of technical training to submit articles in the online journal system is carried out. The main goal is to provide knowledge and insight into submitting articles. The results of the activity show the progress of understanding and knowledge, this is proven by simulations through the application of OJS version 2 which is used for the training process by the participants.]]>

<![CDATA[The younger generation is an important pillar of the state. At the same time, they hold ideology and action. On the basis of a historical approach, Muslim youth contributed significantly to the establishment of Indonesia during the period of independence until the 1998 reform period. However, there is currently a decline in the participation of Muslim youth in politics. There are many reasons, including passive attitudes towards national political problems and the still low level of literacy of Islamic politics among young people. It is therefore important to do this dedication, which aims to increase the political understanding of Islam among the young generation of Islam. The method used is the format of lectures, discussions and question and answer sessions. Before and after the test, it was shown that there was an increase in Islamic political insight among students compared to before the activity was carried out.]]>
