Abstract

Masyarakat yang merantau memerlukan sebuah proses adaptasi yang baik agar mereka dapat diterima dengan baik di lingkungan perantauannya, serta selama merantau mereka juga harus bisa mempertahankan identitas etnis yang mereka miliki agar tidak luntur atau hilang di lingkungan perantauan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan proses adaptasi dan strategi pemertahanan identitas etnis yang dilakukan masyarakat Batak sebagai masyarakat perantau di Pemalang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun sumber data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara serta observasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah didapat menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Batak di Pemalang berhasil melakukan proses adaptasi dengan baik, selain itu masyarakat Batak di Pemalang juga masih melakukan strategi pemertahan identitas etnis mereka sehingga kebiasaan atau kebudayaan mereka masih bisa dilakukan di lingkungan perantauan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa identitas etnis yang dimiliki masyarakat Batak di Pemalang tidak luntur atau hilang hanya saja ada beberapa yang tercampur dengan etnis Jawa karena di tengah proses adaptasinya mereka melakukan sebuah asimilasi, akulturasi, dan juga integrasi

Abstract

The study is undermined by the educational conditions of children of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Malaysia who can’t freely attend school. Because her parents don't have official documents and charges so the kids just shut up in the compartment. On the other hand, with a Sanggar named An-Nahdloh the children of PMI can access education easily. This research was carried out with the aim of: (1) Identifying the actual conditions related to the education of PMI children before joining Sanggar Guidance. (2) Describing the role of Sanggar guidance in accessing education for PMI kids in Malaysia. The method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection technique in this study is participation observation, interviews and documentation. Participation observations are combined with interviews to produce concrete and detailed data. The results of the research show that, in the presence of this guidance. Helping and making it easier for PMIs to access their children's education by joining the mentoring Sanggar. After joining the SB, the children of the PMI can read, write, and count. As well as the child's security in accessing education when returning to Indonesia, they can continue and have an official degree.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the large number of adolescents who consume alcoholic beverages, so researchers wanted to know the factors that cause adolescents to consume alcohol and how the role of parents in dealing with these problems. The purpose of this study is that parents are expected to be able to provide education to be careful with their association so as not to fall into negative things such as juvenile delinquency in the form of drinking drinks containing alcohol where these drinks are very dangerous to health because they can affect brain performance so that when attending school the teenager will lose concentration. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenology type. The data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. Primary data sources derived from interviews. While secondary data sources come from documents. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the cause of a person becoming an alcoholic is not known with certainty, but alcohol use is not the only causative factor. Of the people who consume alcohol, about 10% become addicts. Some of the reasons individuals consume alcohol include to dare to take risks, calm themselves, overcome themselves, run away from loneliness, forget sadness, feel confident, overcome depression, adjust to social situations, relieve pain, overcome personal stress when many schoolwork. The ease of getting liquor and the loose supervision of parents and the surrounding environment are one of the causes of so many children who consume liquor. In addition, a sense of solidarity and friendship bonds are one of the reasons to try liquor. The role of parents in dealing with these problems is more participatory and passive. Where parents only reprimand and advise and some even do nothing, so that children still cannot escape from alcoholism.

Abstract

The importance of government recognition of customary law as part of Indonesia's cultural diversity. Communication and relations between the Kanekes community and the government are a fixed price that must be carried out through the Seba ceremony in order to maintain peace and harmony for all parties. The aim of this article is to find out the meaning of the Seba ceremony as intercultural communication and the existence of the Kanekes traditional community amidst the diversity of Indonesian society. This article uses a literature review research method. The results of the study show that the Seba tradition contains the meaning of gratitude and respect for the government as their leader. The Seba tradition has the following functions: (1) religious/ritual function, (2) traditional function and local wisdom of Pikukuh Karuhun, (3) social function, (4) political function and (4) cultural existence function.

Abstract

Peserta didik yang berada di kelas 7-E SMPN 3 Mojokerto memiliki kecenderungan dalam memilih teman ketika sedang bekerja kelompok, bahkan peserta didik kelas 7-E merasa kurang termotivasi dalam bekerja kelompok bilamana anggotanya bukan dari teman dekatnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbentuk Jigsaw untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi peserta didik kelas 7-E SMPN 3 Mojokerto pada mata pelajaran IPS. Adapun penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua siklus dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Lokasi penelitian berada di SMPN 3 Mojokerto pada kelas 7-E. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menerapkan teknik kuesioner serta observasi. Adapun hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini didapatkan bahwasannya proses pembelajaran berbasis kooperatif Jigsaw terbukti dapat membawa peningkatan keterampilan yang mengarah pada aspek kolaborasi setiap peserta didik. Sebagaimana dapat dibuktikan dengan perolehan data angket respons siklus pertama yang dihasilkan dari peserta didik menunjukkan rata-rata sejumlah 73,4%. Hasil dari siklus kedua menunjukkan rata-rata 87,65%. Dari data angket respons yang diperoleh dari dua siklus tersebut menunjukkan adanya suatu peningkatan sebesar 14,24%. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan guru menerapkan proses pembelajaran Jigsaw yang digunakan sebagai upaya meningkatkan keterampilan kolaboratif peserta didiknya di kelas.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found in class VII E at SMPN 2 Pamekasan, namely the low level of student learning activeness in social studies lessons, in the classroom the teacher still uses the lecture method in explaining the learning material and continued with practice questions, as a result learning activities become unvaried and limited. cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achivement Division (STAD) is used to increase student activeness. This research used classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were students of class VII E consisting of 32 students. The research instruments used in this study were observation guidelines for student learning activeness, and field notes. While the data collection techniques used in this research are participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and quantitative data analysis with a percentage of the assessment of student learning activeness in the application of the Student Teams Achivement Division (STAD) type cooperative learning model. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning activeness in social studies learning from cycle I to cycle II. Indicators pay attention to the teacher's explanation increased 12.51% from cycle I to cycle II. Indicators record or summarize the subject matter increased 28.13% from cycle I to cycle II. Indicators asking questions to teachers or friends experienced an increase of 26.57% from cycle I to cycle II. Indicators answering questions from teachers or friends increased 39.06% from cycle I to cycle II. Indicators discussing with group members in solving problems increased 21.88% from cycle I to cycle II. Indicators helping fellow group members in understanding the subject matter increased 14.07% from cycle I to cycle II. The indicator of doing tasks given by the teacher increased 28.12% from cycle I to cycle II. The indicator of doing quizzes individually increased 39.06% from cycle I to cycle II. And student learning activeness showed a score of 93.75% at the end of the cycle.

Abstract

Local wisdom is an issue that is now widely discussed to integrate into learning including social studies learning. Tiban is one of the arts in East Java which has noble values ​​that can be integrated into social studies learning. This research aims to analyze how to integrate local wisdom in the art of Tiban in social studies learning using a PjBL model. This research used a qualitative approach using literature study methods. Data collection was carried out with the help of search engines. Articles were selected based on the suitability of the theme with a time limit starting from 2019 to 2023. The results were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The study results show that Tiban arts has many noble values that can be integrated into social studies learning include 1) divinity/religiousness, 2) humanity, 3) unity, and 4) deliberation. Integrating these noble values could be used in several philosophical foundations. Coupled with PjBL, it can incorporate process skills. So, transformative social studies learning uses a PjBL model, providing cognitive knowledge and transformation in attitudes and life skills. The results of this research can be used as a basis for developing social studies learning designs that integrate noble values through PjBL

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the history of the establishment of the Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB) or Religious Harmony Forum, how the development of character education and what roles are performed by FKUB. It uses a historical method with a case study approach, including collecting information through interviews, archival documents, observation, and documentation. The results of the study state that the FKUB of Sidoarjo Regency functions as a regular forum for religious leaders and community leaders to strengthen relations between religious communities. The government established FKUB to maintain inter-religious harmony and ensure a harmonious society, in accordance with PBM No. 9 and 8 of 2006. In Character Education Development, it is also important to instil positive values such as integrity, cooperation and responsibility. FKUB also has a significant role in shaping positive and healthy community views, responding to misleading issues, accommodating the aspirations of religious organisations and providing advice regarding the construction of houses of worship. The data shows that the percentage increase in the number of mosques in Sidoarjo from 2021 to 2022 is around 4.47%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social network owned by the Jaka Sura catfish farming unit and the Jaka Sura unit utilizes the social network. The research used primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained directly in the field are in the form of interview results, observation results, and documentation. Secondary data was obtained through study literature in the form of journals, and accreditation articles. The method used is qualitative using Marx Granovetter's social network theory. The validity of the data was tested using the triangulation technique method. The results of this study show that the social network owned by Jaka Sura is in the form of a production network and a distribution network. The production network includes seed suppliers, family labor and, non-family labor. Meanwhile, the distribution network includes wholesalers and collectors. The use of social networks provides convenience and benefits for actors and provides wider access to information for Jaka Sura to develop catfish farming.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila di SMP N 6 Lembang Jaya. yaitu seperti kendala, guru dan sekolah kesulitan menentukan tema projek yang bisa membuat siswa bersemangat dalam melaksanakan projek, kurangnya pemahaman guru dalam menyusun modul, kendala dalam penyedian alat dan bahan, sulit bekerjasama lintas sektor, pesatnya arus globalisasi sehingga membawa nilai-nilai yang tidak sesuai dengan karakteristik bangsa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan Implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila Tema Kewirausahaan kelas VIII di SMP N 6 Lembang Jaya. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori Konstruktivisme. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif. Teknik menentukan informan secara Purposive Sampling. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini antara lain kepala sekolah, waka kurikulum, koordinator projek kewirausahaan, tim fasilitator kewirausahaan, dan siswa. Jenis data, data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah kelompok. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Maka hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan di SMP N 6 Lembang Jaya kabupaten Solok, menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam tema kewirausahaan diawali dengan tahap perencanaan terlebih dahulu, yaitu dengan membentuk tim fasilitator, mengidentifikasi tingkat kesiapan satuan pendidikan, merancang tema, topik dan alokasi waktu P5, menyusun modul, dan merancang pelaporan hasil prosek, serta tahap terakhir dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan projek ini adalah dengan melakukan tahapan evaluasi terhadap kegiatan P5 tersebut.
