Abstract

Financial independence is what the Cinangsih SEKMA Community desires. One way is to maximize the use of social media and e-commerce. Two weaknesses experienced by the Cinangsih SEKMA Community are that they do not have the desire to become entrepreneurs. The Cinangsih SEKMA community has not used social media and e-commerce well. One program that can be done is to take advantage of the reseller program without capital. Partners are still focused on socializing so they have not yet utilized it for entrepreneurship. This community service activity focuses on socialization and training for the Cinangsih SEKMA Community. Develop a desire for entrepreneurship and have the desire to utilize social media and e-commerce. This community service is carried out for 1 month for socialization, training and mentoring. Activities focus on socialization, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and assistance in implementing reseller programs without capital. The solutions provided in this service program are 1) Socialization in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, 2) Socialization in using social media and e-commerce, 3) Reseller Program without capital. The method used to overcome the problems faced by the Cinangsih SEKMA community is to explain, explain and assist in cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit. Another method is to utilize social media and e-commerce to implement it in a reseller program without capital. This community service is hoped by the SEKMA Cinangsih community to have financial independence by running a reseller program without capital. Cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit requires the role of a mentor who is ready to help and accompany. Financial independence requires the right method. One thing that can be utilized is by utilizing social media, applications and e-commerce.

Abstract

The revitalization of local wisdom through the processing of various types of rhizomes by housewives in Oelnasi village into traditional herbal medicine/drinks has good potential for development. Housewives and village women do not have knowledge about this. The high level of health problems but the community's minimal purchasing power for chemical medicines from pharmacies due to constraints due to the family's economic incapacity has become an urgency for housewives and village women to be skilled at processing rhizomes into herbal medicines. This activity aims to increase the knowledge of Oelnasi village women regarding the properties of rhizomes, skills in selecting rhizome types, processing management, hygiene of herbal medicine products with the opportunity to become a permanent business so that marketing can be done online. The methods used in implementing training are: (1) consolidation with partners; (2) lecture; (3) mentoring; (4) evaluation through giving questionnaires to training participants regarding the implementation of activities based on LIKERT with the aim of knowing the results of activities that are measured qualitatively. The results of PKM activities show that partners are able to select good quality types of rhizomes, are able to process rhizomes into herbal medicine by implementing hygiene protocols during the production period, and are able to market herbal medicine products via social media (Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp) using existing devices. The marketing of herbal medicine products processed by partners has been marketed through these three social media, however this has only reached a percentage of 50% because 6 out of 12 partner members are still not digitally literate on social media. Partners produce herbal medicine, market it using digital platforms, but this is not yet optimal due to constraints on human resources, motivation, family and community support.

Abstract

Introduction (background): One of the government's steps to restore learning due to the Covid 19 pandemic is to issue a policy on the use of the Independent Learning Curriculum (KMB). However, in its implementation, schools are given the freedom to implement the curriculum in accordance with school conditions. St. Aloysius Niki-Niki Catholic Private Junior High School is in the IKM Mandiri Belajar category. This shows that KMB implementation has not been optimal. This is because this platform has only been used by schools since August 2022. In addition, schools are constrained by the categorization given which limits the school's space to implement KMB. Purpose of activities: One way that can be used to accelerate SMIs is to maximize the use of PMM. PMM comes with a high-tech approach that can help teachers in obtaining references, inspiration, understanding, and training independently to implement the Independent Curriculum. Method of activity: Pengabdi optimizes the use of PMM to teachers by providing training on the use of PMM. This activity was attended by the Principal and 19 teachers. In addition to providing guidance containing PMM, the service team also provides questionnaires at the end of activities as part of feedback on service activities. Results of activities: PMM optimization activities are also considered very interesting because 80% of teachers are new to this kind of training, even though 60% of teachers take a long time to explore PMM. This is due to the unstable internet network and teachers are not used to using this platform. However, the results of the St. Aloysius Niki-Niki Catholic Junior High School Education report card also provide promising results regarding teacher participation in the use of PMM where the participation rate in 2022 is 10, increasing by 622% in 2023 to 72.2. This makes this school in the top ranking category at the Regency / City level and in the upper middle category nationally. Conclusion: This kind of mentoring activity for teachers is very necessary considering that teachers also need additional insight and sharing experiences about IKM. The teachers have also committed to continue to optimize the use of PMM and will change the status of SMIs to Mandiri Change, in 2024.

Abstract

UMKM Batik Tulis Lasem merupakan salah satu usaha yang menjadi unggulan di Kota Lasem, Rembang Jawa Tengah. Mitra pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Safila Batik dan Real Asto Batik yang sudah lebih dari 8 tahun berkecimpung di dunia Batik. Permasalahan utama yang dimiliki oleh mitra adalah belum adanya manajemen keuangan yang terstruktur dan tersistem dengan baik. Mitra masih menggunakan catatan manual dibuku batik untuk pencatatan produk dan transaksi jual beli. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen keuangan berbasis digital. Sehingga dengan adanya kegiatan ini, mitra dapat mengelola keuangan nya dengan baik, terstruktur, dan akuntabel. Adapun metode yang digunakan meliputi; sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Pada serangkaian kegiatan tersebut, mitra selalu terlibat dan ikut berpartisipasi aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini; 1) mitra memahami konsep manajemen keungan berbasis digital; 2) mitra memiliki aplikasi berbasis android dengan nama Kas Digital UMKM; 3) mitra mampu menggunakan aplikasi kas tersebut untuk transaksi penjualan. Evaluasi program menggunakan kuisioner dengan skala likert dari lima komponen, yaitu tampilan visual, menu dan isi aplikasi, kemudahan, kebermanfaatan dan performance. Adapun hasilnya dengan prosentase 75 % menyatakan setuju. Ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Kas UMKM Digital yang diberikan oleh Tim Pengabdi kepada Mitra bermanfaat dan sangat dibutuhkan oleh mitra.

Abstract

Household waste is still a serious problem for environmental quality. Household waste that is not managed properly and correctly causes pollution to the surrounding environment such as unpleasant odors and clogging irrigation in residential areas. The aim of carrying out this service is to increase public knowledge and awareness of processing household waste or organic waste using an environmentally friendly method, namely stacked buckets in urban areas. The partners of this service are the community in the Lipu Environment, North Labuang Subdistrict, West Sulawesi Province. The method used in this service activity is descriptive analysis with a qualitative research type with a case study design. Questionnaires are used to measure community knowledge and awareness before activities are carried out and after activities are carried out. The results of the service show that many people in the Lipu neighborhood are still not aware of the importance of processing household organic waste. This can be seen from direct interactions with the community and the results of the pre-test questionnaire. Furthermore, after carrying out activities to introduce household organic waste processing using the stacked bucket method, the results showed an increase in community knowledge, behavior and awareness in managing household waste. These results provide the community with the ability to manage waste using the 3R process (Reuse, Recycle and Reduce) with the results of the processing being able to be used for cultivating organic vegetable crops in urban areas and can be a solution to environmental pollution problems in the Lipu area of Majene Regency. The implementation of this training succeeded in increasing public awareness of processing their own organic waste using the stacked bucket method. This activity also succeeded in increasing knowledge, behavior and availability of community facilities to support household organic waste processing.

Abstract

Penerapan aplikasi akuntansi dalam mengelola keuangan pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) masih sangat jarang. Padahal penggunaan aplikasi akuntansi berbasis teknologi informasi dalam mengelola keuangan sangat membantu dan memudahkan pelaku UMKM. Pemanfaatan aplikasi teknologi akuntansi tentunya akan sangat membantu pelaku UMKM yang masih minim pengetahuan tentang akuntansi. Oleh karena itu kegiatan tridarma dosen dapat berperan untuk memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dan kapasitas masyarakat mengelola kegiatan usahanya yang berbasis teknologi informasi. Pemanfaatan aplikasi akuntansi melalui kegiatan pengabdian dosen untuk para pelaku UMKM diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan atau skill dalam menjalankan usaha dengan menerapkan manajemen dan keuangan yang professional. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi para pelaku UMKM dalam mengelola usahanya secara lebih profesional dan menggunakan aplikasi akuntansi dalam mengelola keuangan usahanya sehingga lebih efisien, efektif dan akuntabel. Dengan demikian kegiatan pengabdian tersebut juga untuk meningkatkan kualitas manajemen keuangan UMKM melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi akuntansi. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dalam kegiatan workshop dengan memberikan materi kemudian melakukan praktik langsung menggunakan aplikasi yang diselenggarakan secara hybrid, yakni online dan offline. Tahap kegiatan adalah tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan tahap praktik. Tahap persiapan untuk identifikasi awal dengan melakukan survey pendahuluan. Selanjutnya pada tahap pelaksanaan dan praktik yakni untuk memantapkan pemahaman pelaku UMKM. Kegiatan pelatihan dengan workshop secara hybrid, sehingga dapat menjangkau peserta UMKM yang tersebar di wilayah Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan praktik secara langsung dengan materi kasus yang diberikan. Materi dan kegiatan diberikan dalam beberapa sesi yang diberikan oleh empat pemateri berbeda yang dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen-dosen pengabdian masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan dievaluasi yang menunjukkan bahwa 85,9 % peserta memahami dan mampu mempraktikan materi yang telah diberikan. Namun para peserta masih perlu banyak berlatih untuk menginput data transaksi ke dalam aplikasi. Kegiatan workshop dan pelatihan ini dianggap cukup berhasil, namun masih perlu ditambah waktu kegiatannya. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti workshop juga perlu ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Ginger and butterfly pea flowers are often found in Ulak Kerbau Baru Tanjung Raja Village. Ginger has benefits as an antioxidant, antiemetic, and anti-inflammatory, while butterfly pea flowers have antioxidant, anticancer, antitussive, and allergic properties. Ginger and butterfly pea flowers have many health benefits, which can be developed into functional powdered drinks. This community service aims to increase knowledge, people's understanding, and skills in utilizing ginger and butterfly pea flowers in functional drink powder products that are good quality and beneficial for health. Activity stages include preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The preparation stage begins with observation, discussion of activity program preparation, creation of materials, and pretest-posttest questions. The implementation stage starts with the opening and introduction of the Community Service team and the provision of materials and direct practice. The community service activities were well received, and the community's enthusiasm was very high. In the activities, there was an increase in the community's knowledge and understanding of ginger and butterfly pea flowers. The increase was measured by looking at the pretest (71.8) and posttest (85) scores. Community service participants said that this activity was beneficial and could create an idea for making innovative household products by using plants around the house as products that have health benefits. This community service also improves skills in managing ginger and butterfly pea flowers as functional powdered drinks of good quality. Excellent and beneficial for health. This community service activity can increase the community's knowledge, understanding, and skills in utilizing ginger and butterfly pea flowers in functional powdered drink products.

Abstract

The The use of technology in the mathematics learning process by high school teachers in the city of Parepare is still lacking. Even though there are many learning media that can be utilized. The Geogebra application is a technological medium that has great potential in integrating mathematical concepts visually and interactively. The aim of implementing this PKM is to provide training to mathematics teachers who are members of MGMP Parepare to develop mathematics learning media at the high school level. The training method used is providing training assistance on the Geogebra application which consists of two stages. The preparation stages consist of observing, coordinating with partners, preparing the service implementation team and preparing the service implementation team regarding the training module. The implementation stages consist of giving a pre-test, providing an explanation regarding the Geogebra application, providing simulation assistance in making mathematics learning media using Geogebra, and providing a post-test. The results obtained from the training showed that 18 out of 20 people or around 90% of teachers were able to understand and apply the knowledge gained in training activities through a post-test given at the end of the activity. Thus, the implementation of the Geogebra Application training activities was considered successful because it had achieved the specified targets.

Abstract

In the Updated NDC (UNDC) document, Indonesia's GHG emission reduction target with its own capabilities of 29% increased to 31.89%, while the target with international support of 41% increased to 43.20%. The climate resilience of the agricultural sector is very important where food security, economic and ecological stability and sustainable development are greatly threatened by climate irregularities. Technological innovation in agricultural activity models by considering location-specific aspects by combining various aspects so that they can further increase optimal carbon absorption is an understanding of carbon efficient agricultural technology. The aim of the service activities is to build capacity and participation at the farmer level through carbon efficient agricultural technology programs in the context of efforts to implement NDC to achieve climate resilience in the agricultural sector. The implementation of collaborative service activities in nggulo village, Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency will take place from May to June 2023. The number of students involved is 10 from the Agrotechnology study program, Faculty of Agriculture, Gorontalo State University. The method used in this collaborative service activity is participatory training with activities in the form of counseling and technical guidance. The form of program implemented includes a carbon efficient agricultural technology program including agricultural land optimization activities in the form of increasing the cropping index through the jajar legowo technique and biopesticide techniques. Land management in the form of biopore techniques. The result of this activity is a carbon efficient agricultural technology program in the form of the jajar legowo technique which can be implemented by farmers which is applied to tomato and land kale plants using the jajar legowo technique 2 : 1 and 3 : 1. The jajar legowo system is applied by planting with a pattern of several rows of plants interspersed one empty row as legowo which has the function of being a space for plant management in the form of weeding, irrigation and HPT control activities. In biopesticide activities, soursop extraction can be used as an organic insecticide. In biopore activities, this technique is not only used as water absorption, but also as soil fertilizer, reduces the accumulation of waste which causes various health problems and plays a role in maintaining soil water levels from the threat of drought. Based on the results of activities, the carbon efficient agricultural technology program can be one of the efforts to implement NDC at the site level through empowering farmers to build capacity and independent participation to achieve climate resilience in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

The diversity of marine biota functions to support a healthy and sustainable food chain. The beauty and attractiveness of tourism, along with the role of marine biota, make a significant contribution to economic growth and community welfare in coastal areas. One of the marine biotas that is currently the center of attention is the whale shark. Whale sharks have an economic impact on coastal communities in terms of ecotourism. The aim of this research is to increase knowledge and awareness among coastal communities regarding the sustainability of marine biota, especially whale sharks, through dissemination. This dissemination activity took place on August 23-24, 2023. The method used in this community service involved delivering materials and engaging in direct question-and-answer discussions with the community, where PowerPoint presentations (PPTs) and leaflets were utilized as tools to assist in delivering the material. The target audience consisted of 72 people, including fishermen, extension workers, related agencies, government officials, industry representatives, and members of the media. The outcome of this activity is an increased level of information and knowledge (awareness) among the target audience regarding the sustainability of marine biota, especially whale sharks.
