Abstract

Students are a component of the education system. It will not be called education if the student is not in it. To succeed in education (learning), many conditions must be considered; one of which is ethics or manners. In the context of Islamic education, ethics or manners for a student is very important. It is difficult for a student to succeed in education if he is not ethical or civilized.  Even if he succeeded in education or in learning, then his knowledge was not a blessing or not useful for others or a cause of destruction for himself. This paper aims to describe the ethics of a student who is learning according to the perspective of a religious figure so that he is successful in his learning. This paper used documentary techniques. The data of this paper obtained from the recordings of lectures delivered by Kiai Haji Muhammad Zaini during his lifetime and juxtaposed with the book read by him. Student ethics according to Kiai Hajj Muhammad Zaini is that a student should always expect and ask his teacher to always pray for him, use the time for useful activities, repeat lessons at home and ask back to the teacher related lessons that are still vague for him, clean the intention when looking for knowledge that is only because of Allah SWT, revive religion, keep the Islamic shari'a in order to remain there, intend the knowledge gained will be practiced, always do good deeds and adorn themselves with praiseworthy qualities, get used to getting up at night to worship Allah and ask Allah in order to give him useful knowledge and other virtues, respect his teacher zahir (external) and bathin (inner), not make friends or be close with people who are not in good morals (immoral perpetrators and other deeds), do not use the knowledge they get to debate or pilgrimage, always trying to be close to Allah SWT, accustom to ablution before learning, always reading the Qur'an, always correcting the five senses of sin in order to quickly understand the science of religion.

Abstract

Diabetik retinopathy (DR) is a major complication of diabetes mellitus and the leading cause of vision loss. This condition can result in vision impairment and even blindness if not promptly and accurately managed. Risk factors that can increase the likelihood of someone experiencing diabetik retinopathy include age, gender, poor glycemic control, hypertension, dyslipidemia, pregnancy, and smoking. Several of these risk factors can lead to diabetik retinopathy through various mechanisms, such as increased oxidative stress, elevated permeability of retinal blood vessels, formation of hard exudates, and other mechanisms. The classification of diabetik retinopathy is divided into two types: nonproliferative diabetes retinopathy (NPDR) and proliferative diabetes retinopathy (PDR). Nonproliferative is further categorized into three severity levels: mild, moderate, and severe, while proliferative is divided into advanced and very advanced stages. The global prevalence of diabetik retinopathy is approximately 34.6%. In Indonesia, the prevalence of diabetes has reached 10.7 million people, making it one of the top 10 countries with the highest diabetes incidence in the world. The province of Lampung also has a significant number of diabetes cases. According to a study, the prevalence of diabetes in Lampung Province is 9.3%. The objective of this article is to enhance comprehension regarding the risk factors impacting the progression of Diabetic Retinopathy (DR). This piece will explore the factors that contribute to an increased severity of DR.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the growth of maize plants (Zea mays L.) through the application of various concentrations of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) and doses of cow manure. PGPR is known to enhance nutrient availability and improve plant resilience to environmental conditions, while cow manure serves as an organic nutrient source that supports plant growth. The research was conducted in the village of Lekopancing, Tanralili district, Maros regency, at an elevation of 0-40 meters above sea level. The study was designed using a factorial randomized block design (RBD). The first factor was the concentration of PGPR with 4 levels: without PGPR (P0), PGPR 10 ml l-1 water (P1), PGPR 20 ml l-1 water (P2), and PGPR 30 ml l-1 water (P3). The second factor was the dose of cow manure, consisting of 4 levels: without manure (K0), cow manure at 15 tons ha-1 (K1), 25 tons ha-1 (K2), and 35 tons ha-1 (K3). The observed parameters included plant height (cm), number of leaves (leaves), flowering time (DAP), leaf area (cm2). The results showed no interaction between the application of PGPR and cow manure for all observed parameters. However, various concentrations of PGPR had a highly significant effect on all measured parameters, with PGPR at a concentration of 20 ml l-1 water yielding the best results for plant height (176.49 cm), number of leaves (15.46 leaves), leaf area (516.99 cm2), and 50% flowering time (52.33 DAP).

Abstract

Preprocessing is a crucial step in Natural Language Processing, especially for informal languages like Indonesian, which contain complex morphology, slang, abbreviations, and non-standard expressions. Traditional rule-based tools such as regex, IndoNLP, and Sastrawi are commonly used but often fall short in handling noisy, user-generated text. This study explores the capability of Large Language Model, particularly ChatGPT-o3, in performing Indonesian text preprocessing tasks, namely text cleaning, normalization, stopword removal, and stemming/lemmatization, and compares it to conventional rule-based approaches. Using two types of datasets, consisting of a small example dataset of five manually constructed sentences and a real-world dataset of 100 tweets about the Indonesian “Makan Bergizi Gratis” program, both preprocessing methods were applied and evaluated. Results show that ChatGPT-o3 performs equally well in text cleaning and significantly better in normalization. However, rule-based methods like IndoNLP and Sastrawi still outperform ChatGPT-o3 in stopword removal and stemming. These findings indicate that while ChatGPT-o3 demonstrates strong contextual understanding and linguistic flexibility, they may underperform in rigid, token-based operations without fine-tuning. This study provides initial insights into using Large Language Models as an alternative preprocessing engine for Indonesian text and highlights the need for hybrid approaches or improved prompt design in future applications.
