Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review of counterproductive work behavior (CWB) using the PRISMA methodology to analyze research trends over the past decade (2014–2024). CWB encompasses negative actions performed by employees that may harm organizations, either directly or indirectly. This study identifies key factors influencing CWB, including personality traits such as narcissism, decision-making styles, perceived task legitimacy, and broader social and economic factors. The findings reveal that illegitimate tasks, job stress, and an unfavorable organizational environment are primary triggers of CWB. Additionally, leadership factors significantly contribute to the emergence of counterproductive behaviors in the workplace. Through an analysis of 11 selected journal articles from the Scopus database, this study highlights the trends in CWB research across various countries and industries, particularly at the managerial level. This research provides insights into the importance of organizational policies and managerial interventions in mitigating the negative impacts of CWB. It also identifies gaps in the literature, offering opportunities for further exploration, particularly in understanding the role of cultural and organizational policies in preventing CWB. By adopting a more holistic approach, organizations can foster a healthier and more productive work environment. Abstract

The healthcare sector, while central to public well-being, is paradoxically responsible for 4–5% of global greenhouse gas emissions. This systematic literature review (SLR) critically explores the emerging concept of Green Work Engagement (GWE)—defined as employees’ proactive involvement in sustainable practices—and its transformative potential for healthcare institutions. Guided by the PRISMA framework, this review synthesizes high-quality studies from 2014 to 2024, identifying leadership, organizational support, environmental awareness, and green HRM as pivotal antecedents of GWE. Findings highlight that green servant leadership and green talent management foster innovative behaviors, enhance job satisfaction, and improve both environmental performance and clinical outcomes. Technological integration (e.g., cloud computing) and structured frameworks (e.g., GreenEd, 5R) also emerge as key enablers of systemic change. However, the literature reveals methodological gaps, limited application in developing contexts, and insufficient empirical evaluation of behavioral interventions. This study offers a robust conceptual foundation and practical roadmap for embedding sustainability into healthcare operations, emphasizing the role of leadership, employee engagement, and inclusive organizational culture in advancing environmental stewardship. The review concludes with actionable research directions to strengthen the theoretical and practical relevance of GWE and support the healthcare sector’s alignment with global sustainability goals. Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between ethnic diversity and the management practices and productivity of lowland rice farming in South Bangka Regency. The region's multi-ethnic composition—comprising Malay, Javanese, Bugis, and other ethnic groups—offers a unique context to explore how cultural backgrounds influence agricultural decisions and outcomes. Using a mixed-methods approach involving field surveys, in-depth interviews, and productivity data analysis, the study identifies key differences in land preparation, input usage, labor organization, and post-harvest handling across ethnic groups. The findings reveal that ethnic-based variations in farming knowledge and social capital significantly affect productivity levels. The study concludes by recommending culturally tailored agricultural extension strategies to improve rice productivity in ethnically diverse communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of price, location, product quality, and service quality on consumer purchasing interest in purchasing basic necessities. Data were collected through a questionnaire method distributed to 120 respondents who shopped at a Medan grocery store. Sample selection was carried out using a simple random sampling technique to obtain respondents' responses related to the research variables. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quantitatively using validity tests, reliability, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, and determination coefficient analysis (R²). The results of hypothesis testing using the t test showed that the three independent variables (price, location, product quality, and service quality) had a significance value of less than 0.05, namely price of 0.001, location of 0.001, product quality of 0.581, and service quality of 0.001. Meanwhile, the results of the F test indicated that simultaneously, the variables price, location, product quality, and service quality had a significant effect on consumer purchasing interest with a significance level of 0.001. Based on the results of the determination coefficient analysis, it was found that 65.1% of the variation in consumer purchasing interest can be explained by the variables of price, location, product quality, and service quality, while the remaining 34.9% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. Abstract

In daily life, borrowing through financial institutions such as banks is a common activity. This study aims to examine the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived risk, privacy, trust, and perceived benefits on public interest in applying for bank loans. The study population consisted of 2,785 furniture entrepreneurs in Medan City, with 104 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected via questionnaires, supported by secondary data from relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares (PLS) to assess relationships among variables. The findings reveal that perceived ease of use, privacy, trust, and perceived benefits significantly influence interest in borrowing from banks, while perceived risk does not show a significant effect. These results provide valuable insights for future research and contribute to the understanding of financial behavior, particularly in the context of entrepreneurial financing decisions. Keywords: perceived ease of use, risk, privacy, trust, perceived benefits, borrowing interest

Abstract

The development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia continues to increase, yet many still face challenges in business management, particularly in implementing knowledge management, fostering innovation capability, and building competitive advantage. This study investigates the influence of knowledge management and innovation capability on MSME performance, with competitive advantage and innovation capability as mediating variables. Data were collected from 329 MSME respondents in Medan City using purposive sampling and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS version 26 and Sobel test for mediation analysis. The findings reveal that both knowledge management and innovation capability significantly affect MSME performance. Knowledge management also has a significant impact on both competitive advantage and innovation capability. However, innovation capability does not significantly influence competitive advantage. Furthermore, while competitive advantage directly affects MSME performance, it does not mediate the relationship between knowledge management or innovation capability and performance. In contrast, innovation capability successfully mediates the effect of knowledge management on performance. These results highlight the strategic importance of strengthening knowledge management and innovation capability to enhance MSME sustainability and competitiveness. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of e-logistics and logistics networks on logistics performance, as well as to analyze the development project of blockchain technology adoption in mediating the relationship in the maritime industry. Quantitative methods are applied by collecting primary data through a questionnaire survey aimed at managers, staff, and employees of shipping companies in Semarang. Of the 300 questionnaires distributed, 231 were collected, but only 204 met the criteria for analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results of the study indicate that e-logistics has an influence on the adoption of blockchain technology but does not directly affect logistics performance. Conversely, logistics networks do not affect the adoption of blockchain technology but have a significant impact on logistics performance. The adoption of blockchain technology has a positive effect on logistics performance and serves as a mediator connecting e-logistics with logistics performance, although there is no significant influence between logistics networks and logistics performance through blockchain technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of credit risk in commercial banks in Indonesia as measured by Non-Performing Loans (NPL), as the main indicator of banking system stability. This study uses a quantitative method with a panel data regression approach to evaluate the influence of various factors on credit risk. Data were obtained from financial statements and annual reports of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample consisted of 36 banks during the period 2019–2023, resulting in 180 observations. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with fixed and random effect models through EViews software. The results of the analysis show that variables such as interest rates, bank size, return on assets (ROA), loan loss provisions (LLP), capital adequacy ratio (CAR), and asset quality have a significant effect on NPL. In contrast, gross domestic product (GDP) and inflation do not show a significant effect. These findings indicate that interest rates and ROA are significant new contributors to NPL fluctuations in the Indonesian banking sector during the study period.
