Abstract

This study aims to develop a speaking skills learning medium in the form of Talk or Dare cards based Wordwall for primary school students. This study is based on the need for innovative media that can increase student engagement in language learning. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the product's feasibility is rated at 81% by media experts and 86% by subject matter experts, meeting the criteria for ‘highly feasible.’ The effectiveness of the product was seen from the increase in the average N-gain of 0,6977, which falls into the moderate category, and the t-test result of 13,606 with a significance level (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.001. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of gamification concepts in Arabic language learning media through an attractive digital platform. This medium provides more interactive and contextual learning for primary school students. This study contributes to Arabic language pedagogy by integrating gamification and digital platforms to enhance speaking skill learning in primary schools. ملخص يهدف هذا البحث إلى تطوير بطاقة Talk or Dare المعتمدة على Wordwall لتكون وسيلة تعليمية لمهارة الكلام لدى التلاميذ في المدرسة الابتدائية. ويستند هذا البحث إلى الحاجة الماسّة إلى وسيلة مبتكرة تسهم في تعزيز مشاركة التلاميذ النشطة في تعلم مهارة الكلام. وقد استخدم في هذا البحث طريقة البحث والتطوير (R&D) باستخدام نموذج ADDIE الذي يشمل مراحل التحليل والتصميم والتطوير والتنفيذ والتقويم. نفذت طرق جمع البيانات عن طريق الملاحظة، المقابلة، الاختبار، الاستبانة، والتوثيق. وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث أن صلاحية المنتج من قبل خبير الوسائط بلغت ٨١٪، ومن قبل خبير المادة بلغت ٨٦٪، وهما ضمن معيار صالح جدا. أما فاعلية المنتج فقد تجلّت من خلال ارتفاع متوسط درجة N-gain هو ٠٫٦٩٧٧. فإنه يعد من الفئة المتوسطة. تحصيل اختبار t  ١٣٬٦٠٦ مستوى الدلالة sig-2 tailed   ٠٫٠٠١ . وتكمن جدة هذا البحث في دمج مفهوم التلعيب في وسيلة تعليم اللغة العربية، من خلال منصة رقمية جذابة. وتوفّر هذه الوسيلة تجربة تعليمية أكثر تفاعلا وسياقا للتلاميذ في المدرسة الابتدائية. ويسهم هذا البحث في تطوير تعليم اللغة العربية، من خلال دمج عناصر التلعيب والتقنية الرقمية لتعزيز تعليم مهارة الكلام في المدرسة الابتدائية.

Abstract

This study explores the use of conventional teaching media in Arabic language instruction at a Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kuningan, using constructivist theory as an analytical framework. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through classroom observations and interviews with teachers and students, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Findings show that while blackboards and textbooks align with students’ cognitive development, their use does not fully support active, collaborative, or reflective learning. Lower-grade students remain teacher-dependent, whereas upper-grade students begin to show autonomy, though collaborative interaction is still minimal. This research highlights the untapped potential of conventional media in resource-limited settings and contributes to the theoretical discourse on constructivism by emphasizing the need for more participatory and contextual learning strategies. It calls for teachers to redesign instruction that integrates constructivist principles with available media to foster deeper student engagement. Future studies should compare conventional and digital media across diverse contexts to further enrich the pedagogical application of constructivist theory in language learning.   Abstrak Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan media pengajaran konvensional dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kuningan, dengan menggunakan teori konstruktivis sebagai kerangka analisis. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas dan wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun papan tulis dan buku teks selaras dengan perkembangan kognitif siswa, penggunaannya tidak sepenuhnya mendukung pembelajaran aktif, kolaboratif, atau reflektif. Siswa kelas bawah masih bergantung pada guru, sementara siswa kelas atas mulai menunjukkan otonomi, meskipun interaksi kolaboratif masih minim. Penelitian ini menyoroti potensi media konvensional yang belum dimanfaatkan dalam lingkungan terbatas sumber daya dan berkontribusi pada wacana teoretis tentang konstruktivisme dengan menekankan perlunya strategi pembelajaran yang lebih partisipatif dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini mendorong guru untuk mendesain ulang pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip konstruktivis dengan media yang tersedia guna mendorong keterlibatan siswa yang lebih mendalam. Penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya membandingkan media konvensional dan digital dalam berbagai konteks untuk lebih memperkaya penerapan pedagogis teori konstruktivis dalam pembelajaran bahasa.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Maharah Istima’ curriculum in intensive Arabic language classes by examining the alignment between Semester Learning Plans (RPS) and classroom learning practices. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing document analysis, classroom observations, and interviews with instructors and curriculum developers for data collection. The data were analyzed through interactive qualitative analysis, which included data reduction, presentation, and conclusion formulation. The results indicate that while the RPS contained clear objectives, materials, and assessment strategies, their implementation in the classroom frequently deviated due to time constraints, varying student abilities, and a lack of readily available authentic materials. Pedagogical adjustments made by instructors often enhanced student engagement, yet these adjustments were not fully aligned with the curriculum design. This study underscores the necessity for regular curriculum evaluation, enhanced communication between curriculum developers and instructors, and the strengthening of professional training focused on adaptive and contextual teaching. These findings contribute to the advancement of Arabic language curricula in higher education, particularly in enhancing the relevance and effectiveness of intensive listening skills instruction. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas kurikulum Maharah Istima’ pada kelas intensif bahasa Arab dengan menelaah keselarasan antara Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) dan praktik pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui analisis dokumen, observasi kelas, dan wawancara dengan pengajar serta pengembang kurikulum serta dianalisis dengan analisis interaktif kualitatif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun RPS telah memuat tujuan, materi, dan strategi penilaian yang jelas, implementasinya di kelas kerap menyimpang akibat keterbatasan waktu, variasi kemampuan mahasiswa, dan minimnya materi autentik yang mudah diakses. Penyesuaian pedagogis yang dilakukan pengajar seringkali meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa, namun belum sepenuhnya sejalan dengan desain kurikulum. Studi ini menegaskan perlunya evaluasi kurikulum secara berkala, komunikasi yang lebih intensif antara pengembang kurikulum dan pengajar, serta penguatan pelatihan profesional berbasis pengajaran adaptif dan kontekstual. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kurikulum bahasa Arab di pendidikan tinggi, khususnya dalam memperkuat relevansi dan efektivitas pembelajaran intensif keterampilan menyimak.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which the Olympiad questions correspond to the five key components of the ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) 5C standards: Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities. A qualitative library research method was employed, focusing on the collection and analysis of Olympiad test items alongside ACTFL guideline documents. The analysis explored how each question reflects communicative competence, cultural relevance, cross-disciplinary connections, opportunities for language and cultural comparison, and its potential to foster engagement with the broader global community. The findings reveal that the Olympiad questions adequately addressed the Communication and Culture components by promoting interpretive and cultural understanding tasks. However, indicators of interpersonal and presentational communication were less emphasized, indicating a gap in fostering interactive language use. The questions effectively integrated Connections by linking Arabic language learning to interdisciplinary themes such as economics, health, and history, thereby enhancing students’ critical thinking and contextual understanding. Additionally, elements of Comparisons and Communities were implicitly present but lacked explicit engagement with global multicultural perspectives. Overall, the study concludes that the 2024 Alef Education Olympiad provides a valuable model for Arabic language assessment aligned with contemporary global standards, though further refinement is needed to strengthen interpersonal communication and global community integration. It recommends that Arabic language curricula incorporate more authentic, culturally diverse, and communicative tasks to better prepare students for participation in a multilingual and interconnected world. ملخص تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم مدى توافق أسئلة الأولمبياد مع المكونات الرئيسية الخمسة لمعايير ACTFL (المجلس الأمريكي لتعليم اللغات الأجنبية) 5C: التواصل، والثقافات، والروابط، والمقارنات، والمجتمعات. استُخدمت منهجية بحث مكتبي نوعي، مع التركيز على جمع وتحليل عناصر اختبار الأولمبياد إلى جانب وثائق إرشادات ACTFL. استكشف التحليل كيف يعكس كل سؤال الكفاءة التواصلية، والأهمية الثقافية، والروابط بين التخصصات، وفرص المقارنة اللغوية والثقافية، وإمكانية تعزيز التفاعل مع المجتمع العالمي الأوسع. تكشف النتائج أن أسئلة الأولمبياد تناولت بشكل كافٍ مكوني التواصل والثقافة من خلال تعزيز مهام الفهم التفسيري والثقافي. ومع ذلك، لم يتم التركيز بشكل كافٍ على مؤشرات التواصل بين الأشخاص والعرض التقديمي، مما يشير إلى وجود فجوة في تعزيز الاستخدام التفاعلي للغة. دمجت الأسئلة الروابط بفعالية من خلال ربط تعلم اللغة العربية بمواضيع متعددة التخصصات مثل الاقتصاد والصحة والتاريخ، مما عزز التفكير النقدي لدى الطلاب وفهمهم السياقي. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، كانت عناصر المقارنات والمجتمعات حاضرة ضمنيًا، لكنها افتقرت إلى التفاعل الصريح مع وجهات النظر العالمية متعددة الثقافات. إجمالًا، خلصت الدراسة إلى أن أولمبياد ألف التعليمي لعام ٢٠٢٤ يُقدم نموذجًا قيّمًا لتقييم اللغة العربية يتماشى مع المعايير العالمية المعاصرة، مع ضرورة إجراء المزيد من التحسينات لتعزيز التواصل بين الأفراد والتكامل المجتمعي العالمي. وتوصي الدراسة بأن تتضمن مناهج اللغة العربية مهامًا أكثر أصالة وتنوعًا ثقافيًا وتواصلًا لإعداد الطلاب بشكل أفضل للمشاركة في عالم متعدد اللغات ومترابط.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of digital comic-based learning media as an innovative tool to improve Arabic learning outcomes at PSM Islamic Elementary School Tulungagung. Using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), this research involved students from grades I to VI. The media was developed through Canva and integrated with QR Code technology to create an interactive, enjoyable, and accessible learning experience. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of visual comic media with QR Codes in Arabic language instruction at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah level. It not only focuses on cognitive outcomes but also assesses the media’s impact on students’ motivation and engagement through evaluation tools based on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The digital comic supports a meaningful understanding of vocabulary and context in Arabic. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with average scores rising from 80.24 (pre-test) to 92.71 (post-test). Additionally, students demonstrated increased interest, motivation, and active participation during the learning process. Digital comics proved to be an effective and feasible learning alternative, especially for teaching vocabulary and contextual understanding. This study provides pedagogical implications for Arabic language teaching in elementary education by promoting QR-integrated comics as engaging learning media. It is recommended that teachers and schools adopt such digital tools in classroom instruction. Future research may expand this media to different educational levels and subject areas. ملخص تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تطوير وتقييم فعالية وسائل التعلم الرقمية القائمة على الهزلي الرقمي كأداة مبتكرة لتحسين نتائج تعلم اللغة العربية في مدرسة سبيل المتقين الإسلامية الابتدائية في تولونج أغونج. باستخدام نموذج التطوير ADDIE (التحليل، التصميم، التطوير، التنفيذ، التقويم)، شملت هذه الدراسة طلابًا من الصف الأول إلى السادس. تم تطوير الوسائط من خلال كانفا ودمجها مع تقنية QR Code لخلق تجربة تعليمية تفاعلية وممتعة وسهلة الوصول. تكمن جدة هذه الدراسة في دمج الوسائط المرئية المصورة مع رموز QR في تدريس اللغة العربية على مستوى المدارس الابتدائية الإسلامية. ولا تركز الدراسة على النتائج المعرفية فحسب، بل تقيّم أيضًا تأثير الوسائط على تحفيز الطلاب ومشاركتهم من خلال أدوات تقييم تستند إلى المجالات المعرفية والعاطفية والحركية. تدعم الهزلي الرقمي الفهم الهادف للمفردات والسياق في اللغة العربية. أظهرت النتائج تحسنًا كبيرًا في نتائج تعلم الطلاب، حيث ارتفع متوسط الدرجات من 80.24 (قبل الاختبار) إلى 92.71 (بعد الاختبار). ثم أظهر الطلاب اهتمامًا متزايدًا ودافعًا ومشاركة نشطة خلال عملية التعلم. أثبتت الهزلي الرقمي أنها بديل تعليمي فعال وممكن، خاصة لتعليم المفردات وفهم السياق. توفر هذه الدراسة آثارًا تربوية لتعليم اللغة العربية في التعليم الابتدائي من خلال الترويج للهزلي الرقمي المدمجة مع QR كوسيلة تعليمية جذابة. يوصى بأن يتبنى المعلمون والمدارس هذه الأدوات الرقمية في التدريس داخل الفصول الدراسية. قد توسع الأبحاث المستقبلية هذه الوسيلة إلى مستويات تعليمية ومجالات دراسية مختلفة.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the matrix and trace the hypogram of the poem Hal Hādhihi ‘Alāmah by Nizar Qabbani through the perspective of Michael Riffaterre’s semiotic theory. The analysis focuses on poetic symbols and expressions of ungrammaticality (indirection) as key mechanisms in the construction of meaning. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through close reading, while analysis was conducted using Riffaterre’s dual reading model, namely heuristic and hermeneutic readings. The study examines selected stanzas that display patterns of symbolic repetition, metaphorical language, poetic diction, and pronoun usage associated with the representation of a female figure. The findings indicate that the matrix of the poem centers on the figure of sayyidatī (سَيِّدَتِيْ), which is actualized through various linguistic models in the form of words, expressions, and poetic imagery that consistently refer to an idealized woman. The potential hypogram is represented by the figure of sayyidatī and its lexical variants, such as anti (أَنْتِ), unṡāyā (أُنْثاَيَ), and dumyyah (دُمْيةٌ), while the actual hypogram refers to Balqis al-Rawi, the poet’s wife, as well as to an intertextually related poem within the same anthology, Hal Ya‘rifu al-Qurrā’?. This study demonstrates that Riffaterre’s semiotic framework is effective in revealing the latent structure of meaning in Qabbani’s romantic poetry through the systematic relationship between matrix, model, and hypogram. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis matriks dan melacak hipogram dalam puisi Hal Hādhihi ‘Alāmah karya Nizar Qabbani melalui perspektif semiotika Michael Riffaterre. Kajian ini berfokus pada simbol-simbol puitik dan ungkapan yang mengandung ketidaklangsungan ekspresi (ungramatikalitas) sebagai mekanisme utama pembentukan makna. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik pembacaan cermat, sementara analisis data dilakukan melalui pembacaan ganda Riffaterre, yakni pembacaan heuristik dan hermeneutik. Analisis dibatasi pada bait-bait utama yang menunjukkan pola repetisi simbolik, penggunaan metafora, diksi puitik, dan kata ganti yang merepresentasikan figur perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa matriks puisi berpusat pada sosok sayyidatī (سَيِّدَتِيْ), yang dimanifestasikan melalui berbagai model linguistik berupa kata, ungkapan, dan citraan puitik yang mengarahkan makna pada figur perempuan ideal. Hipogram potensial puisi ini berupa representasi sosok sayyidatī beserta variasi leksikalnya, seperti anti (أَنْتِ), unṡāyā (أُنْثاَيَ), dan dumyyah (دُمْيةٌ), sedangkan hipogram aktualnya merujuk pada figur Balqis al-Rawi, istri penyair, serta keterkaitannya dengan puisi lain dalam antologi yang sama, yaitu Hal Ya‘rifu al-Qurrā’?. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa semiotika Riffaterre efektif dalam mengungkap struktur makna laten puisi romantis Qabbani melalui relasi sistematis antara matriks, model, dan hipogram.

Abstract

Poetry has played a central role in Arab civilization since the pre-Islamic era, functioning not only as a form of artistic expression but also as a medium of education. Within Arabic poetry, the sciences of ‘Arūḍ and Qāfiyah constitute fundamental structural elements, although they are often regarded as complex and difficult to master. This study proposes an integrated analytical approach that combines the structural analysis of classical Arabic poetry with moral education by examining the poem Syarfu al-‘Ilmu by Imam Syafi‘i. Using a descriptive qualitative method with an analytical approach grounded in Ahmad Hasan al-Zayyat’s conception of poetry, this research analyzes the poem’s prosodic and rhyming structures alongside its educational values. The findings reveal that the poem employs the kāmil meter with the mutafā‘ilun pattern, which undergoes permissible variations through ziḥāf and ‘illah, as well as a qāfiyah muṭlaqah mujarradah with the letter sīn as rawī. Beyond its formal structure, the poem conveys core scholarly values, including proper conduct (adab), diligence, and perseverance in the pursuit of knowledge. This study demonstrates that the aesthetic value of Arabic poetry lies not only in its sonic harmony but also in the depth of its moral message. By integrating prosodic analysis with ethical interpretation, this research contributes to Arabic literary studies and offers pedagogical insights for developing more accessible and value-oriented approaches to teaching classical Arabic poetry in contemporary educational contexts. لعب الشعر دورًا محوريًا في الحضارة العربية منذ العصر الجاهلي، إذ لم يقتصر دوره على كونه شكلًا من أشكال التعبير الفني فحسب، بل تعداه إلى كونه وسيلةً للتعليم. وفي الشعر العربي، تُشكل علوم العروض والقافية عناصرَ أساسيةً في بنيته، على الرغم من أنها تُعتبر في كثير من الأحيان معقدةً وصعبة الإتقان. تقترح هذه الدراسة منهجًا تحليليًا متكاملًا يجمع بين التحليل البنيوي للشعر العربي الكلاسيكي والتربية الأخلاقية، وذلك من خلال دراسة قصيدة "شرح العلم" للإمام الشافعي. وباستخدام منهج وصفي نوعي، مع منهج تحليلي قائم على مفهوم أحمد حسن الزيات للشعر، يُحلل هذا البحث البنية العروضية والقافية للقصيدة، إلى جانب قيمها التربوية. تكشف النتائج أن القصيدة تستخدم الوزن الكامل بنمط التفائلون، الذي يخضع لتغيرات جائزة عبر الزحاف والإلاه، بالإضافة إلى وزن قافية مطلقة مجرّدة بحرف السين رويه. وإلى جانب بنيتها الشكلية، تنقل القصيدة قيماً علمية جوهرية، منها حسن السلوك والاجتهاد والمثابرة في طلب العلم. وتُبين هذه الدراسة أن القيمة الجمالية للشعر العربي لا تكمن فقط في تناغمه الصوتي، بل أيضاً في عمق رسالته الأخلاقية. ومن خلال دمج التحليل العروضي مع التفسير الأخلاقي، يُسهم هذا البحث في الدراسات الأدبية العربية، ويُقدم رؤى تربوية لتطوير مناهج أكثر سهولة وقيمة لتدريس الشعر العربي الكلاسيكي في السياقات التعليمية المعاصرة.

Abstract

The growing demand for Arabic communication competence in the 21st century requires innovative approaches beyond traditional pedagogy. This study aims to analyze the potential of educational podcasts and vlogs as transformative media for developing Arabic speaking skills with synthesizes second language acquisition theory with digital media practice. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach with a library research method, data were systematically collected from academic journals, case studies, and empirical reports retrieved from databases such as Scopus Preview, DOAJ, and Google Scholar. The study integrates Krashen’s Input Hypothesis and Vygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory with the practical use of podcasts and vlogs, an area rarely explored in previous research. Findings indicate that podcasts and vlogs enhance both receptive and productive skills by providing authentic input, promoting learner motivation, and fostering self-expression in interactive contexts. They also address curriculum gaps, improve digital literacy, and align with 21st-century skill demands. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, low teacher digital literacy, and rigid curricula remain critical barriers. It is recommended that educators integrate podcasts and vlogs into project-based learning, curriculum developers adopt flexible and communicative approaches, and policymakers strengthen digital infrastructure while supporting teacher training. Abstrak Meningkatnya permintaan akan kompetensi komunikasi bahasa Arab di abad ke-21 membutuhkan pendekatan inovatif di luar pedagogi tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi podcast dan vlog edukatif sebagai media transformatif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab dengan memadukan teori pemerolehan bahasa kedua dengan praktik media digital. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode riset kepustakaan, data dikumpulkan secara sistematis dari jurnal akademik, studi kasus, dan laporan empiris yang diambil dari basis data seperti Scopus Preview, DOAJ, dan Google Scholar. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan Hipotesis Input Krashen dan Teori Sosiokultural Vygotsky dengan penggunaan praktis podcast dan vlog, suatu area yang jarang dieksplorasi dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa podcast dan vlog meningkatkan keterampilan reseptif dan produktif dengan memberikan input autentik, mendorong motivasi pembelajar, dan mendorong ekspresi diri dalam konteks interaktif. Podcast dan vlog juga mengatasi kesenjangan kurikulum, meningkatkan literasi digital, dan selaras dengan tuntutan keterampilan abad ke-21. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, rendahnya literasi digital guru, dan kurikulum yang kaku tetap menjadi hambatan utama. Disarankan agar para pendidik mengintegrasikan podcast dan vlog ke dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek, pengembang kurikulum mengadopsi pendekatan yang fleksibel dan komunikatif, dan para pembuat kebijakan memperkuat infrastruktur digital sekaligus mendukung pelatihan guru.

Abstract

This study examines the management of the Arabic language learning program at Al-Izzah Leadership School Islamic Boarding School, Batu, focusing on the core managerial functions of planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that program planning is systematically structured through short-, medium-, and long-term activities and is aligned with the Muadalah Madinah curriculum and Islamic studies framework. Organizationally, the program is supported by a clear division of roles involving school leaders, language coordinators, teachers, and student organizations, which facilitates effective coordination and language discipline. Program implementation integrates formal classroom instruction with contextual language habituation through daily, weekly, and annual activities that promote active Arabic use. Evaluation is conducted continuously through formative and summative assessments, encompassing daily language monitoring, weekly skill reinforcement, and semester-based competency testing. This study contributes to the field of Arabic language education management by presenting an integrative and context-based program management model within an Islamic boarding school setting. The novelty of this research lies in its documentation of Arabic language program management grounded in an internationally recognized curriculum and sustained language cultivation practices, which remain underexplored in existing studies. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji manajemen program pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Pondok Pesantren Al-Izzah Leadership School Batu dengan menitikberatkan pada fungsi manajerial utama, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan program pembelajaran bahasa Arab disusun secara sistematis dalam kerangka kegiatan harian, mingguan, dan tahunan, serta selaras dengan kurikulum Muadalah Madinah dan kerangka studi keislaman. Dari aspek pengorganisasian, program didukung oleh pembagian peran yang jelas antara pimpinan pesantren, koordinator bahasa, guru, dan organisasi santri, sehingga tercipta koordinasi yang efektif dan disiplin berbahasa. Pelaksanaan program mengintegrasikan pembelajaran formal di kelas dengan pembiasaan bahasa secara kontekstual melalui berbagai aktivitas kebahasaan yang mendorong penggunaan bahasa Arab secara aktif. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkelanjutan melalui penilaian formatif dan sumatif, mencakup pemantauan harian penggunaan bahasa, penguatan keterampilan mingguan, serta pengujian kompetensi pada akhir semester. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kajian manajemen pendidikan bahasa Arab dengan menyajikan model pengelolaan program yang integratif dan berbasis konteks pesantren. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pengungkapan praktik manajemen pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang berlandaskan kurikulum berstandar internasional dan pembudayaan bahasa yang berkelanjutan, yang masih jarang dikaji secara mendalam.

Abstract

The novel Mautu Ma’aliyyi Al-Waziru Sabiqan emerged as a response to gender inequality and social conflict in Egypt, particularly highlighting the dominance of men over women in both the workplace and the household. This study aims to elucidate humanitarian facts, within The novel Mautu Ma’aliyyi Al-Waziru Sabiqan specifically individual and social realities, through the lens of Lucien Goldmann's genetic structuralism. Employing a descriptive qualitative methodology, this research utilizes Goldmann's genetic structuralism approach. The primary data source consists of the text of Mautu Ma’aliyyi Al-Waziru Sabiqan by Nawal Sa'dawi, which was gathered through reading, note-taking, and classification techniques, and analyzed using interpretive methods based on the descriptive framework of genetic structuralism. The study uncovers two key findings. First, at the individual level, the Prime Minister is portrayed as grappling with inner turmoil manifested through anger, sadness, and regret. Second, on a societal level, the novel reflects the realities of Egypt, particularly the prevailing male dominance over women, which corresponds with the social data from the period in which this work was produced. The narrative of the novel illustrates the alignment between fictional representation and social facts, while also exposing the complexities of Egyptian social constructs, especially concerning gender roles in professional and domestic spheres. This research contributes to the field by applying Lucien Goldmann's genetic structuralism framework to analyze the interplay between Arabic literary works and the Egyptian social context. These findings enhance Arabic literary studies by illustrating how social dynamics are both shaped by and represented in literary expressions, thereby expanding the understanding of the relationship between texts, social structures, and societal ideologies. Abstrak Novel Mautu Ma’aliyyi Al-Waziru Sabiqan muncul atas respon ketimpangan gender dan konflik sosial di Mesir, terutama dominasi laki-laki atas perempuan di tempat kerja dan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta kemanusiaan, dalam Novel Mautu Ma’aliyyi Al-Waziru Sabiqan terkhusus fakta individu dan fakta sosial berdasarkan kajian strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann. Sumber data utama adalah teks novel Mautu Ma’aliyyi Al-Waziru Sabiqan karya Nawal Sa’dawi yang dikumpulkan melalui teknik baca, catat, dan klasifikasi dan dianalisis melalui teknik interpretasi berdasarkan metode deskriptif strukturalisme genetik. Penelitian ini mengungkap dua temuan utama. Pertama, pada level individual, tokoh Perdana Menteri digambarkan mengalami pergulatan batin berupa kemarahan, kesedihan, dan penyesalan. Kedua, pada level sosial, novel merefleksikan realitas Mesir, khususnya dominasi laki-laki atas perempuan, yang selaras dengan data sosial pada masa karya ini lahir. Narasi novel menunjukkan kesesuaian antara realitas fiksi dan fakta sosial, sekaligus menyingkap kompleksitas konstruksi sosial masyarakat Mesir, terutama terkait peran gender dalam pekerjaan dan rumah tangga. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan kerangka strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann untuk menganalisis relasi antara struktur karya sastra Arab dan konteks sosial Mesir. Temuan ini memperkaya kajian sastra Arab dengan menunjukkan bagaimana dinamika sosial membentuk dan direpresentasikan melalui karya sastra, sekaligus memperluas pemahaman tentang hubungan antara teks, struktur sosial, dan ideologi masyarakat.
