Abstract

The existence of Islamic boarding schools always changes according to societal developments. Islamic boarding schools that grow and develop in the midst of society, in social processes and interactions with society cannot be avoided. Islamic boarding school activities and participation always take part in building society, requiring new ideas and knowledge. Islamic boarding schools are not only active in providing knowledge to the public in terms of religious knowledge, but also try to improve the standard of living and culture in harmony with Islamic teachings. This type of research is field research, that is, research carried out directly in the field or on respondents. The research approach used is a qualitative approach. The purpose of this research is to describe a situation or event. The data collection techniques used are the observation method, interview method and documentation method. The data analysis technique in this research uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are that the existence of the Hidayatul Mubtadi’in II Simpang Mesuji Islamic Boarding School has a relationship between the Islamic boarding school and the surrounding community. The relationship is well established. Even though the number of students has decreased, the Hidayatul Mubtadi’in II Simpang Mesuji Islamic boarding school continues to strive to exist and play a role in accordance with the vision and mission that have been instilled in the Islamic boarding school. Abstract

The number of educational institutions has implications for competitive competition in order to attract consumers to exist and have competitiveness. Menes is one of the heart of education in Pandeglang. To improve the competitiveness and quality of educational institutions, it is necessary to carry out marketing strategies so as to gain the trust of the community. This research aims: 1) To describe the marketing strategy of educational services of madrasah Aliyah in Menes Pandeglang; 2) Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors of marketing strategy of educational services of madrasah Aliyah in Menes Pandeglang; 3) Describing the extent of marketing strategy of educational services as an effort to increase competitiveness and quality of madrasah Aliyah in Menes Pandeglang. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with instruments of observation, interview, and documentation. The conclusions are: 1) The marketing strategy of educational services at MAS Mathla'ul Anwar, MAS Malnu Pusat, and MAS Anwarul Hidayah has implemented the concept of marketing mix, namely product, price, place, promotion, people, proof, and process; 2) Supporting factors for the marketing strategy of educational services of these three madrasas are strategic location, qualified human resources, affordable costs, and maximum service. The inhibiting factor is the limited funding of madrasah education; 3) Marketing strategy of education services greatly affects the competitiveness and quality of madrasah in Menes Pandeglang. So that these three madrasas continue to market educational services by improving the competence of human resources and infrastructure facilities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe teachers' efforts to overcome the problems of learning the Al-Qur'an for mentally retarded children. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection in this research includes; interviews, observations, and documentation. This research was carried out at SKh KORPRI Pandeglang in 2022. The results of this research show that there are problems faced by mentally retarded children in reading the Al-Qur'an, namely; Their low IQ results in difficulty remembering and pronouncing the hijaiyah letters, and they easily forget when learning to read the Al-Qur'an. Meanwhile, teachers' efforts to improve the ability of mentally disabled children to read the Al-Qur'an are by using visual and audiovisual media as well as the iqra' (reading), imitating, repeating and memorizing methods. The supporting factors for teachers' efforts to improve the ability to read the Al-Qur'an are parents who play a role in the learning process of reading the Al-Qur'an at home, the presence of visual and audio-visual media in learning at school, then the activity of reading the Al-Qur'an This is not only done during IMTAK activities, but is also done every day before class starts. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is apart from the IQ of mentally retarded children which is different from other children of the same age, but also the pronunciation of the Al-Qur'an which is less clear. With the efforts and strategies made by teachers, as well as cooperation between children and parents, it can facilitate the process of learning the Al-Qur'an for children with mental disabilities.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia in the last decade has many problems, one of which is the loss of morality or character that marks the young generation and this is an important discussion that should be considered by all of us. As well as many students who show poor character such as promiscuity or others.... Therefore, researchers focus on the internalisation of Islamic religious values in shaping the character of students at SDN inpres 2 koya barat. This research aims to 1). Knowing the form of internalisation of Islamic religious values in shaping the character of students at SDN inpres 2 koya barat. 2). Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors for the internalisation of Islamic religious values in shaping the religious character of students at SDN inpres 2 koya barat In this study using qualitative research. The approach method used is the Interdisciplinary approach. Data collection methods researchers use interview, observation and documentation methods. The data processing and analysis methods are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The form of internalisation of Islamic religious values in shaping the character of participants is the value of religious character, nationalism, mutual cooperation, and integrity. The supporting factors for the internalisation of Islamic religious values in shaping the religious character of students at SDN inpres 2 Koya Barat are teacher workhsop, cohesiveness between committee administrators, and comfortable school conditions. The inhibiting factors for the internalisation of Islamic religious values in shaping the religious character of students at SDN inpres 2 Koya Barat are environmental factors, peers, and lack of self-awareness of the importance of character education. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of Arabic language learning evaluation focusing on the difficulty level of questions, discriminant power, and distractor function. The objectives are to enhance understanding of the importance of evaluation in learning, provide feedback to schools and teachers, and improve the learning process. The research method employs both qualitative and quantitative approaches, with the research subjects being school principals, Arabic language teachers, and fifth-grade students of MI Nurul Huda. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using Thematic Analysis for qualitative data and Descriptive Statistical Analysis for quantitative data. The findings indicate a lack of assessment question formulation policies, with questions tending to be moderately easy with good discriminant power. However, some distractors are not functioning optimally, indicating the need for improvement in assessment question formulation. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the intrinsic elements in the script of "The Shepherd and the Sheep," adapted from the famous Upin-Ipin story, using the library research method. The research explores the themes, characters and characterization, plot, setting, moral message, dialogue, and language style present in the script. The literature review found that the script's central theme is social, emphasizing the importance of honesty. The central characters in the script include Jarjit as the shepherd, Upin and Ipin as farmers, and Mail as the wolf, each playing a significant role in the progressive plot. The setting at the hillside, daytime setting, and simple social setting reinforce the narrative and characterization. Communicative dialogue and comparative and emphatic language styles add depth to the script and facilitate understanding for readers or viewers. The novelty of this research lies in utilizing a relevant and engaging story for students, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of literature learning and instilling ethical and social values. Abstract

This research was motivated by the unavailability of interactive learning media at Situraja I State Elementary School. This is a challenge for teachers to increase students' enthusiasm and interest in learning, especially in material devoted to parents and teachers. The research developed a product in the form of interactive learning media, the BUKBER Digital Story Book (Bakti Book). This research uses the Design and Development (D&D) model as a tool to convey material about filial piety to parents and teachers in PAI learning for grade 4 elementary schools. The data processing technique that researchers use is qualitative. Data was obtained based on observations during testing. From the results of data analysis on the development of BUKBER (Buku Berbakti), it shows the feasibility in the final results of the product feasibility validation questionnaire evaluation by the validator. Next, researchers conducted product trials on 26 students which produced data that the BUKBER Digital Story Book (Bakti Bakti) learning media was effectively used in PAI learning in class 4 of Situraja 1 State Elementary School. Abstract

This research was made based on the problems at SMK Satu Nusa 2 Bandar Lampung. The writers found the lack of speaking mastery in students and decided to do research related to the factors that affect students' speaking mastery. This research uses qualitative research methods and finally found several factors that affect students' interest in speaking English, namely, mother tongue influence factor, weak mastery of English grammar factor, minimal vocabulary factor, teaching method factor, environmental factor, lack of learning motivation, factors affecting technological development, and psychological factors. Abstract

Lampung society is known as a society that adheres to tradition in understanding the reality of its social life, including the cherry blossom tradition. The cherry blossom tradition is a tradition that originates from West Lampung. The sakura tradition is a masked party held every Eid al-Fitr holiday with the main aim of keeping in touch. This research aims to describe and analyze the values of Islamic education in the cherry blossom tradition and their implications in fostering a humanist attitude in the people of Coastal Lampung, West Lampung Regency. The research used in this study is qualitative research with the type of field research, while the method used is ethnography or culture-based research. The study was carried out in West Lampung. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, document collection and interviews. Data sources include interviews with traditional leaders, community leaders and youth leaders. This study shows the results that there are values of Islamic education in the sakura tradition, namely: 1) Praying together and saying takbir sentences which have the value of thanking Allah SWT for the blessings of faith. Islam and obedience, 2) Buhippun or deliberation, mutual cooperation and giving alms which have the values of mutual respect, respect and unity, 3) Njalang or halal bihalal which have the values of friendship and good manners. The implications of the values of Islamic education in the cherry blossom tradition in cultivating a humanist attitude in the people of Lampung Coastal West Lampung Regency, this is reflected in attitudes 1) Mutual respect, 2) Polite attitudes, 3) Mutual assistance attitudes, 4) Kinship attitudes and tolerance attitude. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of learning methods outside the classroom on thematic learning outcomes in class II MI Al-Miftah Gunung Sindur Bogor students.  This study uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and summaries, and data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes using the outdoor learning method. This is evidenced by measuring student learning outcomes in terms of affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. Viewed from the effective aspect, students showed active behavior and increased student interest in learning. From the cognitive aspect, it shows that there is an increase in students' understanding of the material presented. And when viewed from the psychomotor aspect, by implementing outdoor learning it makes students love their environment.
