Abstract

Horticulture farmers in Rasau Jaya 2 Village, Kubu Raya Regency, cultivate plants on peatlands using large amounts of inorganic fertilizers. Continuous use degrades the peat soil and drastically reduces its organic matter content. This reduction leads to soil hardening, poor water flow, and impaired root development, causing decreased horticultural production. Using liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) and organic matter applications is recommended to address these issues. The PKM (Community Service Program) was implemented through lectures, discussions, training, and demonstrations on making bokashi and LOF with Trichoderma sp. decomposer and their application to horticultural plants. Additionally, monitoring and evaluation of PKM activities were conducted in Rasau Jaya 2 Village. This activity's achieved targets and outcomes include farmers' independence in utilizing agricultural waste as raw materials to produce bokashi and LOF, reducing inorganic fertilizer use. Horticulture farmers were highly enthusiastic about the materials for making bokashi and LOF.

Abstract

Marriage registration is mandated by Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage (Marriage Law), as stated in the provisions of Article 2. Further explanations regarding Itsbat marriage (marriage ratification) are found in the provisions of Article 7 of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). This legal counselling aims to raise legal awareness among the community about the importance of marriage registration and Itsbat marriage in the village of Punggur Besar, which has a significant impact, particularly on women and children. This is closely related to legal certainty and protection, both during and after marriage dissolution. The method used in this community service activity is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). This method is based on the participation of the attendees, including village elements, policymakers, and the surrounding community. It is employed to evaluate the participation of village elements and the community in the assessment process of this activity. This method actively interacts directly with stakeholders to achieve the desired results. The education session took place on December 24, 2022, in Punggur Besar Village, Kubu Raya Regency, and was attended by village officials and residents. Instruments such as pre-tests were used to ask oral questions to assess the community's knowledge about marriage registration and Itsbat marriage. The education revealed that there are still marriages conducted without marriage registration. Based on the results of the education, it is evident that increasing knowledge about marriage registration and Itsbat marriage is crucial, as it significantly impacts both the level of legal awareness among the community and the certainty and legal protection for the parties involved.Top of Form

Abstract

The progress of technology and the COVID-19 pandemic have brought changes to various industrial sectors, including the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. Both conditions have led several MSMEs to revamp their strategies in various functions, including marketing strategies shifting towards digital platforms. One MSME impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic experienced a nearly 92% decline in revenue and has not yet fully recovered even in the post-COVID-19 period. Based on these challenges, this Community Service (PkM) activity aimed to implement digital marketing strategies using Google My Business to increase revenue by at least 20%. The method employed was Participation Action Research (PAR), which began with the initial stages of surveying and observing partners, followed by problem formulation and solution development. The second stage involved assisting partners in creating their Google My Business profiles, and it concluded with an evaluation in the third stage. The direct evaluation showed that the partners could effectively operate Google My Business with its available features. The partners responded positively, providing favourable ratings through the questionnaire, indicating they gained knowledge about digital marketing. The Community Service activity implies that the partners can now be more easily found by potential customers and interact through review and response features, ultimately leading to increased sales revenue. The partners hoped that future Community Service activities related to digital marketing could continue, possibly exploring other social media platforms as additional digital marketing channels.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) in Tanjung Duren Village, Grogol District, West Jakarta. Due to the pandemic, several MSMEs suffered losses and were forced to close their businesses. After the pandemic, MSMEs activists began to improve themselves and adjust market developments. One of the strategies to attract market interest is rebranding with an attractive appearance through logos and packaging of MSMEs products. This condition became a concern for the community service team, Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) Universitas Trisakti, so they provided training on creating logos with the Canva application and packaging design. This training aims to help MSME players rebrand through attractive logos and packaging so that the products sold become the community's choice. This PkM activity applies a mentoring method with a PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach that actively involves participants in implementing activities. A total of 10 (ten) food and beverage MSMEs players, all women, attended the training held on Friday, May 03, 2024, at the RW 007 secretariat office, Tanjung Duren Utara Village, West Jakarta. Through this training, the participants, who are MSME players, gained knowledge in designing attractive logos and product packaging so that they are expected to increase their product sales.
