Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of digital technology use on the emotional regulation of elementary school students. The background of this research stems from the increasing intensity of digital device usage among children, which can have both positive and negative impacts on their emotional development. This research employed a quantitative approach, and data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to fifth-grade students at SDN 008 Sungai Kunjang. The results indicate that most students responded positively to the use of digital technology in helping them recognize, manage, and express their emotions more effectively. The use of digital tools has been shown to support emotional regulation, particularly in areas such as social interaction and self-control. However, some students did not fully experience these benefits, highlighting the need for ongoing guidance from teachers and parents. The implications of this study underscore the importance of integrating digital technology effectively into the learning process, accompanied by adequate supervision, to support students' social-emotional development optimally.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has accelerated the integration of gamification as an interactive and motivational learning strategy. This study presents a systematic literature review following the SPAR 4 SLR protocol, based on the analysis of 25 empirical research articles published between 2020 and 2025. The objective is to explore the distribution and impact of various gamification elements on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning domains. Elements that provide rewards, such as points (88%), badges (80%), and leaderboards (72%), were the most commonly applied in learning environments. In contrast, reflective features such as storytelling (20%), learner autonomy (24%), and role-playing activities (16%) were especially effective in increasing emotional involvement, self-directed learning, and practical abilities. Through thematic analysis using NVivo 12, the study found that external rewards often encourage only temporary motivation, whereas reflective components support more lasting and meaningful learning processes. The study concludes by recommending a balanced and goal-oriented approach to gamification design, which can strengthen its role as a transformative educational strategy in the digital learning era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of persuasive communication and school services on customer satisfaction at XYZ Private Elementary School in Jakarta. Using a quantitative approach and survey method, this study involved 116 parents of students through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression. The results of the study indicate that persuasive communication (β = 0.345; p < 0.001) and school services (β = 0.635; p < 0.001) significantly influence customer satisfaction, with a coefficient of determination R² of 0.573. School services contributed effectively by 43.18%, which is greater than persuasive communication at 14.80%. These findings support the theory of Total Quality Management (TQM) and the concept of educational service quality, which emphasizes the importance of synergy between persuasive communication and excellent service. The practical implications of this study encourage schools to implement data-driven communication and service strategies to enhance parental loyalty. This research offers a novel contribution through an integrative approach between communication and service aspects as the foundation for holistic and sustainable management of educational customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study addresses the problem of low teacher job satisfaction in public elementary schools in Boja District, Kendal Regency, which is believed to be influenced by ineffective leadership, unsupportive work environments, and fragmented school cultures. The objective of this research is to analyse the influence of effective school principal leadership, work environment, and work culture on teacher job satisfaction. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory design, the study involved 199 teachers selected through a proportionate stratified random sampling method. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analysed through multiple linear regression. The findings revealed that both principal leadership (β = 0.128, p = 0.008) and work environment (β = 0.122, p = 0.009) significantly affect teacher job satisfaction. In contrast, work culture (β = 0.003, p = 0.094) does not show a statistically significant influence. The adjusted R² value of 0.594 indicates that the three variables explain 59.4% of the variation in job satisfaction. The study highlights the need to enhance leadership quality and work environments to improve teacher satisfaction and effectiveness. Although school culture shows potential, it must be translated into tangible practices and professional recognition to have a meaningful impact.
