Abstract

A frequently observed phenomenon shows that student learning outcomes vary significantly depending on their level of motivation and the pedagogical competence of their teachers, with highly motivated students who are guided by competent teachers tending to achieve the best academic results. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how junior high school students' learning outcomes are impacted by pedagogical competence and learning motivation. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach is used in this study. The study's findings show that teachers' high levels of learning motivation and pedagogical competence can be used as a guide to enhance student learning outcomes; consequently, pupils who have these qualities are more likely to achieve the best possible learning outcomes. To maximize learning outcomes and accomplish the desired educational goals, it is crucial to make efforts to enhance teachers' pedagogical competency and students' enthusiasm to learn using a variety of creative learning tactics and approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Reciprocal Learning model on students’ learning outcomes in reading comprehension in class V B of UPT SPF SD Inpres Minasa Upa 1, Rappocini District. The research employed an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design, involving a saturated sample of 17 students. Data were collected through a reading comprehension test and analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques, including tests of normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The findings revealed that the students’ average pretest score of 25.59 increased significantly to 90.59 in the posttest. A Paired Sample T-test indicated a significance value of < 0.001, leading to the rejection of H0 and the acceptance of H1. These results demonstrate that the Reciprocal Learning model is effective in enhancing students’ reading comprehension skills. Therefore, the implementation of this model has a positive impact on learning outcomes and may serve as a valuable reference for elementary school teachers in developing innovative instructional strategies to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that remains a serious challenge in Indonesia and significantly affects the long-term quality of human resources. Numerous studies indicate that stunting influences physical growth, cognitive development, academic achievement, and productivity in adulthood. Stunting prevention requires comprehensive, integrated, and sustainable efforts involving multiple sectors, including education. Elementary schools play a strategic role in shaping healthy behaviors, nutritional knowledge, and positive lifestyle habits from an early age through the implementation of healthy school programs. This article aims to examine the role of healthy schools in supporting the realization of a stunting-free golden generation starting from elementary education. The method employed is a literature review analyzing national and international journal articles, reports from global health organizations, and government policies related to stunting and school health. The findings indicate that the implementation of healthy school programs including nutrition education, clean and healthy lifestyle practices, regular physical activity, provision of healthy school environments, and collaboration among schools, families, and communities contributes significantly to stunting prevention. Therefore, healthy schools serve as a key foundation for developing a healthy, intelligent, and competitive future generation. In addition, the healthy school approach strengthens intersectoral collaboration between education, health services, and families in addressing nutritional problems among school-age children. Through systematic health promotion, routine monitoring, and the integration of nutrition education into learning activities, schools can function as early prevention settings that reinforce the outcomes of interventions implemented during the first 1,000 days of life

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence, particularly deep learning, has brought significant changes to the field of education. This technology enables the development of adaptive learning systems and intelligent tutoring systems that can adjust learning content, methods, and pace according to learners’ characteristics and needs. This study aims to examine the potential, challenges, and strategies for implementing deep learning in education through a qualitative approach using document analysis of relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that deep learning has the potential to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of learning, strengthen personalized learning, and support data-driven decision-making in educational processes. However, the implementation of this technology still faces several challenges, including limitations in technological infrastructure, low levels of digital literacy among educators and learners, and insufficient regulations related to ethics, data security, and privacy protection. Therefore, comprehensive strategies are required, including strengthening digital infrastructure, improving human resource competencies, and developing policies that support the ethical and sustainable use of artificial intelligence in education. Collaboration among governments, educational institutions, academics, and the technology industry is a key factor in ensuring that deep learning can be optimally utilized to improve the quality and equity of education in the digital era.

Abstract

Vocational education plays an important role in preparing competent, independent, and competitive human resources in the workplace and business world. However, the effectiveness of learning in Vocational High Schools (SMK) still faces variouschallenges, one of which is the limited use of innovative and interactive learningmedia. This has an impact on low student learning outcomes. Teachers do not usemedia that attract students' attention to learn. This study aims to apply QR learningmedia to improve student learning outcomes. The study is a CAR consisting of 2cycles where each cycle has 2 meetings. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namelyplanning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data for this study wereobtained from the learning outcome test of 32 students of class XI SPIB. The testinstrument used was the test validity test, test difficulty index, item discriminationpower, and test reliability. The results of this study showed an increase in studentlearning outcomes with an average in cycle I of 78.26 and cycle II of 86.69 with anincrease in learning outcomes of 8.43% and classical completeness of studentlearning outcomes of 87.5%. This shows that QR learning media can improve thelearning outcomes of class XI students at SMK Negeri 5 Medan.

Abstract

The use of digital micro modules is very much needed in the learning process along with technological developments to improve the quality of learning, curriculum development, learning innovation, and improving the quality and completeness of facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to 1) determine the level of student needs for digital interactive micro modules for learning resource management, 2) determine the design of digital interactive micro modules for learning resource management, 3) determine the level of validity and practicality of digital interactive micro modules for learning resource management. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE development model which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study was conducted at the Educational Technology Study Program, Faculty of Education, Makassar State University. The subjects of this study were 2 validators, namely material expert & media expert validators, 21 students of the educational technology class, and 1 lecturer teaching the course. The results of content validation are in very good qualifications, the results of media validation are in very good qualifications. Practicality trials were conducted on two user targets, namely student responses are in very good qualifications and the responses of the lecturers teaching the course are in very good qualifications. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the digital interactive micro module is valid and practical for use in the learning process in the Learning Resource Management Course.
