Abstract

Limit fungsi merupakan salah satu konsep dalam matematika yang memerlukan perhatian khusus. Terdapat banyak konsep matematika yang memerlukan pemahaman konsep limit dengan baik. Konsep limit fungsi merupakan materi yang akan diajarkan oleh calon guru matematika kepada siswa di kelas 11, sehingga perlu bagi calon guru matematika untuk menguasai konsep tersebut. Namun, ditemukan masih terdapat calon guru matematika yang belum menguasai konsep tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan mahasiswa calon guru matematika dalam menyelesaikan soal limit fungsi dan penyebabnya. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu universitas di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dengan 3 subjek yang berada di semester 4 jenjang S1 prodi pendidikan matematika. Analisis yang dilakukan diadaptasi dari langkah-langkah analisis kesalahan oleh Medova (2019). Hasil yang ditemukan adalah kesalahan yang cenderung dilakukan oleh mahasiswa adalah kesalahan dalam membuat sketsa grafik fungsi dan kesalahan dalam memvisualisasikan limit fungsi. Kesalahan dalam membuat sketsa grafik fungsi tersebut dapat ditemukan saat mahasiswa tidak mampu mensketsa grafik fungsi yang terdapat suatu titik tidak terdefinisi dalam domainnya. Adapun kesalahan dalam memvisualisasikan limit fungsi terlihat saat mahasiswa tidak mampu menunjukkan ketiadaan limit di suatu titik. Kesalahan-kesalahan tersebut disebabkan karena subjek yang terpilih belum memahami dengan baik konsep fungsi dan konsep limit fungsi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan softkill guru Sekolah-Ku Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia (YKAKI) Makassar melalui workshop pengembangan e-learning berbasis Google Classroom. Tim pengabdi terdiri dari 3 dosen dan 2 mahasiswa serta guru yang terlibat dalam pengabdian ini ada 13 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah berupa pelatihan. Memberikan teori dan praktek tentang Google Classroom kepada para guru melalui workshop secara daring dan luring selama 1 bulan (4 sesi). Pada awal pelatihan, narasumber terlebih dahulu memaparkan apa itu Google Classroom kepada semua peserta. Lalu para peserta diinstruksikan untuk membuat akun Google Classroom terlebih dahulu dengan dipandu oleh Narasumber. Tahap berikutnya, dilakukan pemilihan mata pelajaran untuk menyusun materi ajar dari mata pelajaran yang dipilih, Penyusunan materi ajar meliputi materi PDF, Powerpoint, pembuatan soal atau tes, dan video pembelajaran. Setelah proses penyusunan materi ajar, selanjutnya materi tersebut di unggah di Google Classroom. Setelah melaksanakan workshop dan penyusunan materi ajarr maka dilanjutkan dengan pengembangan e-learning berbasis Google Classroom yang dilakukan oleh guru-guru yang selanjutnya dipersentasekan melalui virtual zoom. Guru-guru sangat antusias mengikuti dari awal sampai akhir, diskusi interaktif terbangun dengan baik karena peserta yang mengikuti sebagian besar belum memahami aplikasi pembelajaran online dan bersemangat untuk dapat memahaminya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis tantangan siswa dalam belajar matematika dari perspektif gaya kognitif field-dependent (FD) dan field-independent (FI). Penelitian sebelumnya telah menunjukkan bahwa gaya kognitif siswa mempengaruhi pemahaman dan kinerja siswa dalam matematika. Namun, pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang jenis kesalahan umum dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya masih kurang, meskipun penyelidikan sebelumnya tentang hubungan antara gaya kognitif FD dan FI dan pemahaman matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan dilaksanakan di kelas VIII salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Sidrap. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen GEFT, tes matematika, dan wawancara. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi metode. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya kognitif FD cenderung mengandalkan konteks eksternal, fokus pada detail dan informasi spesifik, dan memerlukan instruksi yang jelas untuk memproses informasi matematika. Di sisi lain, siswa dengan gaya kognitif FI cenderung melepaskan diri dari konteks eksternal, fokus pada konsep dan prinsip, serta memiliki kemampuan kerja yang mandiri. Kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa dengan gaya kognitif FD dan FI dapat dikaitkan dengan faktor-faktor seperti ketergantungan pada konteks eksternal, kurangnya pemahaman konsep matematika, dan kurangnya pemahaman prosedur operasi matematika yang benar.

Abstract

The Unconscious Mind Program (UMP) is an approach that can use to improve student learning outcomes by incorporating suggestions into students' subconscious minds. The teachers use structured relaxation, attractive visual images, metaphors, movements, music, and suggestions in UMP learning. This study aims to determine the motivation and ability of teachers to implement UMP learning. This research is a type of CAR using 15 teacher subjects at SMPN Bantaeng. This research was conducted in two cycles, each of consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The result is that the dominant teacher has been able to apply the UMP, although there are still a small number of teachers who are only able to apply 75% of the overall UMP implementation indicators. The application of UMP can make teachers' motivation high in carrying out learning in the classroom with an average motivation score of 3.61 from a maximum score of 4.00.

Abstract

Educational administration plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of education in elementary schools. Educational administration is not only concerned with record-keeping but also encompasses the management of all school activities to ensure they run smoothly and in accordance with educational objectives. This paper aims to discuss the objectives of educational administration and the functions of educational administration in the context of elementary school education. The method used is a literature review by reviewing various books and journals relevant to the topic of educational administration. The results of the study indicate that the purpose of educational administration is to help achieve educational objectives through effective management of school resources. The functions of educational administration, which include planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising, are essential in the implementation of school activities. The implementation of good educational administration can support the smooth running of the learning process and create an orderly learning environment in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the main operational functions of school principals in managing educational and instructional organizations. The research problem is based on the suboptimal implementation of principals’ operational roles, which affects the effectiveness of school organizations. This study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The research subjects included principals, teachers, and educational staff. The results indicate that the principal’s main operational functions consist of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising educational and instructional activities. Principals play a crucial role in coordinating school resources, creating a conducive working environment, and ensuring that the learning process aligns with educational objectives. The findings also reveal that the effectiveness of school organizations is strongly influenced by the principal’s decision-making ability, organizational communication, and efforts to enhance teacher professionalism. Therefore, optimizing the principal’s operational functions is a key factor in improving the quality of educational and instructional organizations

Abstract

Educational administration and educational supervision are two essential aspects of educational management that play a significant role in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of achieving educational goals. Educational administration encompasses various management functions, including planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, supervising, and financing, which are carried out systematically to optimize the utilization of educational resources. Meanwhile, educational supervision functions as a form of professional development aimed at improving the performance quality of teachers and educational personnel in the learning process. This study aims to examine the concepts of educational administration and educational supervision as well as their roles in enhancing the quality of school management and teaching–learning processes. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review by analyzing relevant books and scholarly journals. The findings indicate that effective educational administration and collaborative, continuous educational supervision can enhance teacher professionalism, learning effectiveness, and the creation of a conducive school environment. Therefore, the integration of educational administration and supervision is an important factor in supporting students’ academic and non-academic success

Abstract

Educational administration plays a strategic role in supporting the success of educational implementation. Good educational management not only supports the smooth running of the learning process but also contributes to the achievement of national educational goals. This study aims to examine the definition of educational administration and its development in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study method, involving the review of various written sources such as books, scientific journals, and relevant laws and regulations.The results of the study show that educational administration is the process of managing educational activities which includes planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising all educational resources in a systematic and sustainable manner. The development of educational administration in Indonesia has undergone a shift from a centralized system to a more decentralized one, particularly through the implementation of school-based management. This change aims to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of educational management. Nevertheless, the implementation of educational administration still faces various challenges, especially regarding human resource competence and the managerial capacity of educational institutions. Therefore, continuous strengthening of educational administration is required to support the realization of a quality and competitive national education system

Abstract

This study highlights the importance of accuracy in identifying students’ learning difficulties and designing effective guidance services in schools. Findings reveal that internal factors such as low motivation, academic anxiety, and cognitive differences, along with external factors including family support, teaching methods, and limited school facilities, significantly contribute to academic barriers. Accurate diagnosis of learning difficulties through observation, interviews, and diagnostic instruments enables interventions tailored to students’ needs. Furthermore, the analysis of guidance program design emphasizes that services based on students’ actual needs can enhance motivation, foster positive character development, and strengthen social skills. These findings underline the necessity of a holistic approach and supportive educational systems to optimize students’ academic potential and personal growth

Abstract

Learning problems among students at school remain a challenge in the educational process, such as difficulties in understanding learning materials, low learning motivation, and a lack of learning independence. These conditions require the presence of guidance services that are able to assist students in overcoming learning obstacles in a systematic manner. This study aims to identify effective forms of learning guidance and analyze the role of guidance organizations in schools in supporting students’ learning success. The research method used in this study is a literature review by examining various relevant sources, including books and scientific journal articles related to learning guidance and guidance organizations in schools. The results of the study indicate that effective learning guidance includes individual guidance, group guidance, learning assistance, as well as remedial and enrichment services. In addition, the success of learning guidance is strongly influenced by the role of well-coordinated guidance organizations involving guidance and counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, school principals, and parents. Synergy among these elements enhances the effectiveness of learning guidance services, improves students’ academic achievement, and creates a supportive learning environment. Therefore, well-planned learning guidance supported by a strong guidance organization plays an important role in improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes in schools
