Determination of samples using the Lemeshow formula with stratified random sampling techniques with an error rate of 5%, obtained a sample of 150 people. Data results through statistical analysis using Chi square test. It is known that there is a relationship between age (pvalue = 0.039), gender (pvalue = 0.030), length of work (pvalue = 0.038), sports activities (0.028) with complaints of MSDs. The analysis used is the pearson rank correlation test and the one way test. The results showed that there was an influence of age on work stress with a very weak level of influence not unidirectional (p = 0.007, r = -0.248), no influence of sex on work stress (p = 0.037), there was an influence of working period on work stress with a weak level of unidirectional influence (p = 0.015, r = -0.227), no shift influenceWork against work stress (p = 0.273). There is an effect of workload on work stress with very strong and unidirectional influences (p = 0.000, r = 0.951). The conclusion of the research results, factors that affect work stress are age, length of work, and workload, while fac-tors that do not comply with work stress are gender and work shifts.

Abstract

Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) and Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) are two medical conditions that are rare but can cause serious complications if they appear simultaneously. Both conditions involve autoimmune mechanisms and can result in organ failure, including respiratory failure. Although there are several case reports of each condition, research exploring the interaction between GBS and TTP in the context of respiratory failure is limited. Purpose: The aim of this study is to describe a case of cross-reactivity of Guillian-Barre Syndrome and Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura with complications respiratory failure. Methods: This research uses a case study design involving an adult patient who was treated at a hospital in Bandung. Data was collected through a comprehensive nursing assessment. Patients provided informed consent before data were collected. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to describe clinical findings and patient management results. Results: The patient is a young woman 27 year old admitted to hospital with a diagnosis of GBS. Eleven days before entering the hospital the patient experience dascending paralysis, fever, nausea and vomiting.TTP cross-reactivity and peripheral nervous system inflammation in GBS.Complications of respiratory failure requiring invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) in the ICU. Laboratory and radiological examinations supported the diagnosis, and medical intervention was performed according to protocol for both conditions. This shows the importance of close monitoring and prompt treatment to prevent further complications. These findings emphasize the need for a multidisciplinary approach in managing patients with complex medical conditions. Conclusion: An in-depth understanding of the interaction between GBS and TTP is essential for effective clinical management, especially in preventing and managing complications of respiratory failure.

Abstract

On 2022, the incidence of stunting stilll exceed the target recommended by World Health Organization (WHO). Efforts to prevent stunting require the involvement of all parties in society, including health cadres and their knowledge about stunting prevention. The purpose of this research was to compare the level of knowledge of health cadres on stunting prevention between lowland and highland villages in Pangandaran. This research design used a descriptive comparative with a cross sectional time. The population in this study are health cadres in Karangjaladri village and Cimanggu village. The sampling technique used a total sampling technique of 80 cadres. Data collection has been done through filling out a questionnaire about stunting prevention. The questionnaire has been measured for validity and reliability tests which are declared valid based on the Guttman scale because the Kr value is> 0.90 and reliable because Ks> 0.60. The data obtained has been analyzed using categorical univariate analysis which will then be analyzed comparatively using the Mann-Whitney analysis test. The research results showed that health cadres in lowland and highland villages had a high level of knowledge about stunting prevention. However, there were knowledge indicators with low scores, including pregnancy checks, implementation and administration of vitamin A capsules, and interpretation of KMS. Overall, there’s no significant difference between the knowledge of lowland cadres and highland cadres regarding stunting prevention.

Abstract

Clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) is essential for achieving optimal health. School-age children are in a crucial period for initiating PHBS, enabling them to become health promoters for their families, school environment, and society. Implementing PHBS in schools can raise public awareness, encouraging clean and healthy living. This research aims to identify factors related to PHBS among students. The study employs a quantitative, cross-sectional design. The population consists of 298 students, with a sample of 89 respondents selected based on inclusion criteria, specifically fifth and sixth graders registered at SD Negeri 066650 Medan, using the Lameshow formula. Conducted at SDN 066650 Medan from January to March 2024, the research utilizes a questionnaire distributed directly to students. Examined variables include knowledge, attitudes, infrastructure, and the role of teachers. Data analysis involves Univariate and Bivariate methods, processed with the chi-square test using SPSS version 20. Results indicate significant relationships between knowledge (p=0.033), attitudes (p=0.033), infrastructure (p=0.035), and teacher roles (p=0.019) with PHBS implementation in schools. The study concludes that low levels of knowledge, attitudes, infrastructure availability, and active teacher involvement contribute to inadequate student behavior in practicing PHBS effectively at school.

The study used an analytical, quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The research approach to analyze the influence of clean water sources on the incidence of stunting in Pandrah District used quantitative analytical methods with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique in this research was a total population of 62 people. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately, univariate analysis was descriptive while bivariate analysis used the chi-square test to analyze the influence of each independent variable and dependent variable. The research results showed that clean water source had a significant influence on stunting occurrence, with a p-value of 0.002 (which is less than the significance level of 0.05). It could be concluded that clean water source significantly influences stunting occurrence.
