Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on customer decisions at Indonesian Sharia Banks in the city of Lhokseumawe. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The number of samples is 100 people in the city of Lhokseumawe. Research data were analyzed using PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling) with SmartPLS 3 software. The results showed that service quality of compliance, assurance, reliability, physical evidence, empathy, and responsiveness had a positive effect on customer decisions of Indonesian Sharia Commercial Banks in the city of Lhokseumawe. Only two variables had a positive and significant effect, namely compliance and responsiveness, the remaining four variables, namely assurance, reliability, tangibles, and empathy, had a positive but not significant effect. The implication of this research is to focus on compliance, assurance, reliability, physical evidence, empathy, and responsiveness which can influence customer decisions at Bank Syariah Indonesia in the city of Lhokseumawe.

Abstract

BARAYU MSMEs is an OVOP producer of MSMEs in Margaluyu Village that needs help increasing its income due to the marketing methods used. For this reason, business actors need changes in the promotion model to maintain their business. Technological developments have made social media widely used, opening up opportunities for business actors as a medium for product promotion. This service aims to provide knowledge and promote products, assist in creating trademarks, MSMEs logos, websites, and skills for MSMEs in designing product promotions on social media and increasing product sales. Assistance uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method: observation, interviews, discussions, assistance, and Output. The results obtained after carrying out this service are increased knowledge and Understanding of BARAYU MSMEs owners regarding the existence and potential of social media in promoting products, the creation of the brand name "BARAYU," the creation of a logo and website as well as MSMEs social media accounts, increased skills of MSMEs owners in using social media as a promotional medium, and increasing the number of product sales.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop interactive learning media based on animal parks to classify animals based on their food types. The research method used is Research and Development using the Borg and Gall model. The data collection technique used is to provide assessment instruments to media experts, material expert, and questionnaires to fourth grade student. The results obtained through the media expert research instrument obtained a score of 78% which included decent criteria, while the material expert obtained a score of 82% with very feasible criteria, and the student assessment in the small group obtained a score 86% which included very feasible criteria and the large group obtained a score of 83% which included very feasible criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this observation is to find out the marketing strategy carried out in the Aceh dodol cake production business in increasing customer satisfaction at Matungan Kruet. By using the three marketing strategy indicators, product, price and promotion. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection including observation. , interviews and documentation. The informants in this research consisted of 1 key informant and 4 supporting informants. The results of this research indicate that the role of the product in supporting increased customer satisfaction in the production of Aceh dodol cake is by maintaining the quality of the product and the ingredients used in accordance with customer wishes. The role of price in supporting increased sales in the Aceh dodol cake business by setting prices in accordance with the quality of the product and the target market. The role of promotion in increasing sales in the Aceh dodol cake business is by utilizing social media as a form of promotion such as Facebook and WhatsApp. So the three indicators such as product, price and promotion in marketing strategies can increase sales and increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The objective of this socialization was to socialize and give a comprehensive guide to the students in preventing bullying among students at school. As we know that nowadays bullying is always one of the hottest topics happening not only in Indonesia but also in some other schools in other countries in the world. Schools always try their best to draw up an official strategy in dealing with that problem. The participants in this program were the students of SMP Methodist Pematangsiantar located on Jalan Pane no. 34 in Pematangsiantar city. The socialization was held during the school environment introduction activities (PLS) on 15-16 July 2024. The results of this socialization were the students were given a comprehensive guide to prevent the bullying among students at school since the students were from different background, race, ethnics, and so on. The socialization process was initiated by analyzing the issue of bullying in schools, including its various forms, the effects on both victims and aggressors, the social influences that contribute to the problem, and the need for preventative measures tailored to the developmental needs of elementary, middle, and high school students. The discussion then delved into two theoretically grounded approaches for creating and implementing socialization strategies: the Pro-Social Developmental Guidance Model and the Social-Ecological Intervention Model. For each approach, strategies to evaluate, develop, implement, and sustain socialization strategies were identified, along with suggestions for integrating them into a cohesive approach. The guide also provides recommended antibullying strategies and programs, as well as an extensive list of references. This resource is designed to aid educators and others in their efforts to prevent bullying in schools.

Abstract

This research aims to understand social action through the lens of Structuration and Agency Theory, with a special focus on the thought of Anthony Giddens and Malcolm Walters. Giddens' Structuration Theory emphasizes the dialectical relationship between agency (individual action) and structure (social rules and resources), where structure not only constrains but also enables action. The concept of duality of structure shows that structure is both the medium and the result of social action. Walters expands this concept by highlighting how individuals, through reflexive capacities, can reproduce or change social structures. This research uses library research methods. The research results show that a deeper understanding of the interaction between agency and structure can enrich sociological analyzes of social change and the sustainability of social structures.

Abstract

Dodol MSMEs are one of the MSMEs that support the national economy. it is located in Sukahati Village, Cibinong District, in calculating production costs is still traditional, so the selling price is still traditional. In this all-digital era, these MSMEs need to adapt to the times. In facing the development of the times and maximizing finances, it is necessary to carry out community service so that MSMEs, especially Dodol MSMEs, have financial capabilities that can maintain the sustainability of their business. These MSMEs need to be briefed related to simple financial records, production cost calculations, and sales calculations to use applications to find out the profits obtained. The method is used Participatory Action Research (PAR) which focuses on empowering the community and involving them in the process of change. This activity, which runs from June to August 2024, includes ongoing monitoring and evaluation. It is hoped that from this activity, Dodol MSMEs can calculate production costs and use the applications that have been made in this service.

Abstract

International trade is an arena where goods and services are exchanged on a global scale. This happens because various countries collaborate in trade, driven by the desire to circulate goods and services freely. Through international trade, a country can increase prosperity and create balance in demand, supply, and services. This research aims to analyze the impact of international trade on Indonesia's economic growth. The research method used is qualitative research using literature review, where the author will examine written sources from various library references by collecting data, reviewing and analyzing data obtained from these written sources. By conducting international trade, a country can experience e increased prosperity through economic growth, job creation, and increasing Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Additionally, international trade enables the transfer of technology and business knowledge. However, international trade can also have an impact on reducing domestic demand due to imports, which can reduce domestic productivity and employment opportunities and result in a decrease in economic growth.

Abstract

Selesa Coffee & Eatery, a café located at Jl. Tukad Batanghari No.12, Denpasar Selatan, Bali, faces significant challenges in optimizing their digital marketing strategy, particularly on social media platforms like Instagram. Despite offering a diverse menu and a comfortable atmosphere, their use of Instagram is suboptimal, with issues related to content quality and consistency. Unprofessional content and irregular posting frequency result in decreased engagement, limiting their potential to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Additionally, Instagram features such as Stories, IGTV, and Instagram Live are underutilized, and the lack of a well-planned strategy impedes their digital marketing effectiveness. To address these issues, it is crucial to enhance digital marketing education and training for employees. Research indicates that content consistency and quality are key to capturing audience attention and increasing brand awareness. By improving visual content quality, implementing a regular posting schedule, and effectively utilizing Instagram features, Selesa Coffee & Eatery can boost engagement and strengthen customer relationships. Furthermore, adopting a solid digital marketing strategy and leveraging analytics to measure campaign performance will aid in making more accurate and effective adjustments. Comprehensive digital marketing education and relevant practical experience are expected to enhance employee competence and support the café's growth in a competitive market.

Abstract

In the digital era marked by rapid advancements in information and communication technology, e-commerce transactions have become increasingly common, transforming traditional trading methods. This article discusses consumer legal protection in e-commerce transactions from the perspective of the Consumer Protection Act in Indonesia. Although e-commerce offers convenience and efficiency, consumers often face risks such as product discrepancies, delivery delays, and payment security issues. This research employs a normative juridical method with secondary data collection through literature studies. The findings indicate that despite laws designed to protect consumers, suboptimal implementation and a lack of consumer awareness about their rights exacerbate the situation. Effective legal protection requires collective efforts from the government, businesses, and consumers to enhance awareness and compliance with existing regulations.
