Abstract

The quality of education is influenced by various factors, including policies, curriculum, and school conditions, with student learning outcomes serving as the primary indicator of success. This study aims to analyze the influence of curriculum management and teacher performance on student learning outcomes at SMA Istiqomah Muhammadiyah and SMA Plus Melati Samarinda.The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique, involving 78 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression, t-test, multiple linear regression, and simultaneous F-test. The results showed that curriculum management contributed 35.7% at SMA Istiqomah Muhammadiyah and 50.1% at SMA Plus Melati, while teacher performance contributed 29.6% and 28.6%, respectively. Overall, these two variables influenced student learning outcomes by 40% at SMA Istiqomah Muhammadiyah and 51.1% at SMA Plus Melati. These findings affirm that curriculum management and teacher performance play a significant role in improving the quality of learning. However, additional supporting factors are still needed to achieve more optimal results.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive video-based learning medium focused on neck injury management for adolescents aged 17–21 years, particularly in the context of football, which often involves physical collisions. The lack of understanding and skills among adolescents regarding neck injury management, as well as the limited availability of effective and engaging learning media, prompted this research. The method used is the Rapid Prototyping Model (RPM) with the ADDIE stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), involving needs analysis, storyboard design, video production, trial implementation, and evaluation of effectiveness. The results showed that the interactive video successfully improved participants' understanding of neck injury management steps, with significant increases in post-test questionnaire results compared to pre-test. The strength of this video lies in its dynamic presentation, high-quality visualization, and interactive features that encourage active user engagement. This video not only provides practical education but also raises awareness among adolescents about the importance of injury prevention, making it a potentially effective and easily accessible learning medium.

Abstract

Digital literacy is a very important issue in today's era. This study aims to analyze the Problem-Based Hybrid Learning Model in the achievement of students' digital literacy. This study uses a literature review by participating in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Article searches were conducted in research journal databases by taking from Elsevier, Pubmed, Science Direct, Web of Science, National Index, and Google Scholar. The results of this study are based on the results of a review of 15 articles that found that the use of P-BHL in the learning process at school and in college has a positive impact such as improving performance, comprehension, critical thinking skills, digital literacy skills and cognitive abilities in learning by applying the P-BHL learning method both at school and in college.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers in instilling values of discipline in children in Group B of the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten. Data collection was carried out using qualitative research methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study was conducted in Group B of the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten with four teachers as research subjects. This study produced three main findings, namely the role of teachers in instilling values of discipline in children by instilling a sense of responsibility and the habit of disciplined behavior, the efforts of teachers in instilling values of discipline in children, namely accustoming children to be disciplined in terms of managing their time for studying and playing, as well as setting an example through the behavior of the Prophet Muhammad, andd dthe challenges dfaced dby dteachers din dinstilling discipline dvalues in children, namely differences in educational approaches between home and school, and insufficient parental attention toward their children.

Abstract

Quality public services reflect the level of public satisfaction with the services received. This research is motivated by the importance of the Child Identity Card (KIA) as a mandatory population data for children. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of public services at the Dawuhan Village Office, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency, related to Child Identity Card (KIA) processing services. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis was conducted based on the five dimensions of service quality according to Zeithmal, Prasuraman, and Berry (1990): Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. The results showed that the Tangible dimension had been optimally fulfilled, this can be seen from the availability of facilities and infrastructure that support the service process. The Reliability dimension showed good results through the accuracy and thoroughness of officers in carrying out procedures. The Responsiveness dimension was also good, including the responsiveness and consistency of service from officers. Similarly, in the Assurance dimension, the public generally felt confident in the services provided by officers. The Empathy dimension indicates that communication with the public has been implemented effectively. Given this situation, public services are already quite good and need to be continuously improved to ensure better, more innovative services that meet community needs.

Abstract

Studi ini meninjau dampak Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia. Pentingnya berpikir kritis semakin diakui dalam pendidikan modern, namun tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis saat ini di kalangan siswa di Indonesia masih rendah. Tinjauan literatur mensintesis temuan dari berbagai penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL secara efektif menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui pola pembelajaran terstruktur yang mencakup perencanaan proyek, pelaksanaan kolaboratif, dan evaluasi hasil secara teratur. Tinjauan ini menekankan peran interaksi sosial dan kolaborasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa, karena mereka terlibat dalam diskusi dan menganalisis pendapat yang beragam selama mengerjakan proyek kelompok. Temuan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi berbasis bukti bagi pendidik dan peneliti untuk menerapkan model PjBL secara lebih efektif dalam praktik pengajaran mereka.

Abstract

The phenomenon of violence in schools increases every year. The Indonesian government has issued various policies to prevent violence against children, including violence that occurs in schools. One of them is the Regulation of the Minister of State for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2014 concerning the child-friendly school policy. This study aims to determine and analyze efforts to prevent bullying between students by strengthening the culture of child-friendly schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method at Nusa Indah Elementary School, Cipanas District, Cianjur Regency. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies of the principal, teachers, students, and parents. The results of the study indicate that planning has not been carried out in a participatory manner and is not supported by written documents specifically for anti-bullying. Organization is not optimal because the Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK) has not been formed. Program implementation focuses more on general character building without specific anti-bullying activities. Evaluation is also not data-based and does not produce concrete follow-up. In conclusion, the child-friendly school culture at Nusa Indah Elementary School has not been implemented effectively in preventing bullying due to the weak school managerial system. Structured planning, involvement of school residents, and continuous data-based evaluation are required.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of inclusive education at SDN Jembatan Besi 01 Pagi. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Students with special needs have different backgrounds, with some being more comfortable interacting with fellow students with special needs, while others interact well with regular students. Social interactions in inclusive classes involve associative patterns such as cooperation in academics and non-academically, accommodation provides motivation and assistance so that students with special needs are more open and integrated with regular students. The involvement of parents and communities and the formation of a school culture that supports inclusion and respects diversity are also crucial.

Abstract

Analisis sentimen merupakan salah satu metode dalam pemrosesan bahasa alami yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan opini atau emosi dalam suatu teks. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan perbandingan tiga model Naïve Bayes—Multinomial Naïve Bayes, Gaussian Naïve Bayes, dan Bernoulli Naïve Bayes—untuk menganalisis sentimen komentar live chat turnamen E-Sports Mobile Legends di YouTube. Data dikumpulkan dari kolom live chat siaran grand final MSC 2023, kemudian dilakukan preprocessing dengan teknik tokenisasi, penghapusan stopwords, stemming, dan transformasi TF-IDF. Ketiga model Naïve Bayes diterapkan pada dataset yang telah diproses, dan kinerjanya dievaluasi menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bernoulli Naïve Bayes memberikan performa terbaik dengan akurasi dan F1-score tertinggi dibandingkan dengan model lainnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Bernoulli lebih optimal dalam menangani karakteristik teks komentar live chat yang cenderung pendek dan mengandung banyak istilah informal. Temuan ini dapat menjadi acuan dalam penerapan analisis sentimen untuk data teks tidak terstruktur dalam industri E-Sports.

Abstract

Munculnya media sosial telah menghasilkan sejumlah besar data tekstual yang rentan terhadap analisis untuk memahami perilaku pengguna. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis komparatif dari dua algoritma klasifikasi teks, Naive Bayes dan Support Vector Machine (SVM), dengan aplikasi untuk menentukan gender dari komentar pengguna di platform media sosial X (sebelumnya Twitter). Kumpulan data diperoleh dengan metode web scraping dan kemudian dipre-processing menggunakan mekanisme cleaning teks dan pengubahan singkatan bersama dengan ekstraksi fitur berbasis TF-IDF. Kuantitas data yang berbeda (1000, 3000, 5000) dan rasio pembagian data (70:30 dan 80:20) digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kedua algoritma. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa SVM mengungguli Naive Bayes dalam hal semua matriks pada dataset yang lebih besar, sementara Naive Bayes terus mempertahankan kualitasnya pada dataset yang lebih kecil. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi yang signifikan untuk pemilihan metode klasifikasi yang sesuai untuk analisis data komentar media sosial.
