Data analysis used Spearman rank, the time of the study was conducted in December 2023. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the degree of the wound showed that most of the respondents had deep ulcers as many as 20 people (58.8%). Body image in diabetic ulcer patients showed that most of the respondents had a body image in the sufficient category as many as 23 people (67.7%). There is a relationship between the degree of injury and body image in diabetic ulcer patients with a p value of 0.004 (

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Smoking behavior is an activity that can cause health problems for both smokers and people in their environment. The high prevalence of tobacco consumption has caused cigarette problems to become more serious. Increasing cigarette consumption results in a higher impact of diseases due to smoking and an increase in the death rate due to smoking, it is estimated that by 2030, the death rate of smokers in the world will reach 10 million people. Smokers in Indonesia in 2013 and 2018 remained at 24.3%, the age group of 20-24 years as the early adult group, in 2013 as much as 27.2% to 27.3% in 2018, meaning that the government's efforts to reduce the number of smokers have not been successful. To quit smoking, various ways can be done, such as counseling to change the knowledge, attitudes and actions of smokers, hypnotherapy and Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT). SEFT therapy combines spiritual power and psychological energy, so the therapy results are amplified because it is accompanied by prayer. The principle of work is more or less the same as acupuncture and acupressure by stimulating key points along the body's 12 energy pathways (energy meridians). Objective: To analyze the average cigarette consumption before and after SEFT therapy. Method: Quasi-experimental research experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The number of samples was 50 respondents by measuring the average amount of cigarette consumption after 7 days of therapy. Study results: The average number of cigarettes consumed after SEFT therapy decreased from 13.16 cigarettes to 5.28 cigarettes based on the Wilcoxon test, a ρ Value of 0.00 was produced. Conclusion: SEFT therapy can reduce the intensity of smoking consumption. Suggestion: Smokers who want to quit smoking can do it with the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT).

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected children's lifestyles, including their sleep patterns, which are vital for growth and development. Exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) is believed to positively influence children's sleep quality through its bioactive components. This study aims to compare the effects of exclusive breastfeeding on children's sleep quality during and after the COVID-19 pandemic in Samarinda. This retrospective comparative study involved 372 children aged 0-2 years. Data were collected through parent interviews and sleep quality assessment using Children’s Sleep Habits Questionnaire (CSHQ). Chi-square tests and odds ratios (OR) were used to analyze differences in sleep quality between children who were exclusively breastfed and those who were not, during and after the pandemic. During the pandemic, children with exclusive breastfeeding had 7.22 times higher odds of good sleep quality compared to those without (p=0.00). After the pandemic, this odds ratio decreased to 1.45 and was not statistically significant (p=0.123). This indicates that the impact of exclusive breastfeeding on sleep quality was stronger during the pandemic than after. Exclusive breastfeeding plays a crucial role in supporting children's sleep quality during the COVID-19 crisis, but its influence diminishes with age and normalization of daily routines. Environmental factors and parenting practices become the primary determinants of children's sleep quality post-pandemic. Education and nursing interventions should focus on parenting patterns and managing children's sleep routines after the pandemic.

Abstract

Coronary Heart Disease or Coronary Artery Diseae (CAD) is the leading cause of death in worldwide, including in Indonesia. CAD is caused by blockage of the coronary arteries, which a coronary angiography examination can confirm to assess the degree of stenosis. Hypertension and dyslipidemia are the main risk factors in patients with CAD. This study aims to analyze the relationship between hypertension and dyslipidemia with the degree of coronary stenosis in patients with CAD who undergo angiography at Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda Hospital. This study is a type of analytic observational research with a cross-sectional approach. The data used in this study was from medical records. The study sample was 93 patients with CAD who underwent angiography at Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda Hospital in 2022 and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria selected by purposive sampling. The result showed that the relationship between hypertension and the degree of coronary stenosis showed a p-value of 0.632 and a p-value of 0,034 for the relationship between dyslipidemia and the degree of coronary stenosis. The conclusion of this study is that hypertension has no relasionship with the degree of coronary stenosis and dyslipidemia has a significant relationship with the degree of coronary stenosis in patients with CAD who undergo angiography. Keywords:  Coronary Artery Disease, Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, Degree of Coronary Stenosis, Angiography
