Abstract

Pasal 99 Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 Tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak sebagai realisasi dan implementasi upaya perlindungan anak yang dijamin oleh hukum Nasional dan Internasional. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk perlindungan hak-hak anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum saat ini dan untuk mengformulasikan Pasal 99 Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 Tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak Pasca Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 68/PUU-XV/2017. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan Undang-Undang dan konseptual. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlindungan hak-hak anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum saat ini terutama jaminan anak akan dikeluarkan dari tahanan setelah masa penahannya berakhir tidak memiliki kekuatan hukum mengikat. Sehingga memungkinkan aparat penegak hukum berperilaku semena-mena dalam menangani kasus anak. Kemudian untuk meminimalisir kemungkinan tersebut diperlukan reformulasi terhadap Pasal 99 Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak dan memformulasikan Pasal yang juga memberikan pengaturan yang sama yaitu pemidanaan selama 2 (Dua) tahun tehadap lembaga pemasyarakatan, dalam hal ini Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) karena LPKA juga bagian dari sub sistem peradilan pidana anak.Abstract. Article 99 of Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System as a realization and implementation of child protection efforts guaranteed by National and International law. This article aims to determine the form of protection of children's rights in conflict with the current law and to formulate Article 99 of Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System after the Constitutional Court Decision Number 68/PUU-XV/2017. This research method uses a normative legal research method with a Law and conceptual approach. The results of the study indicate that the protection of children's rights in conflict with the current law, especially the guarantee that children will be released from detention after their detention period ends, does not have binding legal force. This allows law enforcement officers to behave arbitrarily in handling child cases. Then to minimize the possibility, it is necessary to reformulate Article 99 of Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System and formulate an Article that also provides the same regulation, namely a 2 (two) year sentence for correctional institutions, in this case the Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) because LPKA is also part of the juvenile criminal justice subsystem.

Abstract

Pelanggaran terhadap tata tertib sekolah yang terjadi di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung, menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik tersebut perlu mendapatkan bantuan secara khusus untuk dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapinya. Yaitu terkait dengan pelanggaran tata tertib di sekolah. Metode bantuan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah melalui layanan konseling kelompok. Permasalah pelanggaran tata tertib sekolah juga menjadi masalah di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik reward and punishment untuk mereduksi pelanggaran tata tertib sekolah pada peserta didik di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian pre experimental dengan rancangan one group pre test dan post test design. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui kuisioner, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 26 peserta didik kelas VIII yang melakukan pelanggaran tata tertib sekolah pengujian data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linearitas, analisis regresi linier sederhana, uji t dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Layanan Konseling Kelompok Dengan Teknik Reward and Punishment untuk mereduksi pelanggaran tata tertib di sekolah pada peserta didik di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Hal ini di buktikan hasil pengujian diperoleh nilai t hitung untuk variabel Konseling Kelompok Teknik Reward and Punishment Untuk Mereduksi Pelanggaran Tata Tertib Sekolah menunjukkan nilai t hitung = 3.485 t tabel = 2.068 dengan signifikansi 0.002. Dengan menggunakan batas signifikansi 0.05, nilai signifikansi tersebut lebih kecil dari 0.05. Dengan arah koefisien positif, dengan demikian diperoleh hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa konseling kelompok teknik Reward and Punishment berpengaruh untuk mereduksi pelanggaran tata tertib di sekolah dapat diterima.Abstract. The violation of school rules that occurred at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung, shows that the student needs to get special help to be able to overcome the problems he faces. That is related to violations of discipline at school. The method of assistance that can be used to overcome these problems is through group counseling services. The problem of violating school rules is also a problem at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of reward and punishment techniques to reduce violations of school rules in students at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. The research method used is quantitative research using a type of pre-experimental research with a one-group pre-test and post test design. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. The sample in this study was 26 grade VIII students who violated school rules for data testing using normality tests, homogeneity tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression analysis, t-tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the analysis and discussion can be concluded that there is an Effect of Group Counseling Services with Reward and Punishment Techniques to reduce violations of discipline in schools for students at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. This is proven by the test results obtained a t-count value for the variable Counseling Group Reward and Punishment Techniques to Reduce School Discipline Violations showing a t-count value = 3,485 t table = 2,068 with a significance of 0.002. Using a significance limit of 0.05, the significance value is less than 0.05. With the direction of positive coefficients, a hypothesis was obtained that states that group counseling of the Reward and Punishment technique is influential in reducing violations of discipline in schools is acceptable.

Abstract

Kecemasan dalam proses pengerjaan skripsi kerap kali dialami oleh mahasiswa yang tentunya dapat membuat rasa tidak nyaman. Kecemasan mengerjakan skripsi juga disertai dampak fisik seperti ritme tidur yang terganggu, jantung yang berdetak kencang, sakit kepala, tangan mengeluarkan keringat, rasa mual pada perut, dan mulut kering. Kecemasan yang tinggi mendorong mahasiswa tidak mampu menyelesaikan skripsi dengan baik sehingga mereka sulit lulus tepat waktu. Hal ini mendorong perlunya dilakukan sosialisasi untuk mengatasi masalah kecemasan yang sering dirasakan oleh mahasiswa. Melalui pengabdian masyarakat ini yang bertemakan “Anti Cemas Menghadapi Skripsi” yang ditujukan pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Esa Unggul untuk memfasilitasi mahasiswa dalam mengenali gejala kecemasan, mengelola kecemasan dan strategi mengatasi kecemasan selama mengerjakan skripsi. Metode kegiatan ini berupa program psikoedukasi melalui webinar dengan memberikan dua materi yaitu tentang kecemasan dalam menghadapi skripsi dan strategi anti cemas hadapi skripsi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 13 November 2023. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan psikoedukasi webinar “Anti Cemas Menghadapi Skripsi” pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Esa Unggul. Dengan demikian, psikoedukasi webinar anti cemas menghadapi skripsi terbukti efektif untuk mengurangi tingkat kecemasan pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Esa Unggul.Abstract: Students frequently suffer nervousness when they write their theses, in which it can undoubtedly make them uncomfortable. Physical symptoms including headaches, sweating palms, dry lips, nausea in the stomach, and irregular sleep patterns are also associated with anxiety over working on a thesis. Students with high levels of anxiety struggle to finish their theses, which hinders their ability to graduate on time. This highlights the necessity of outreach in order to address the anxiety issues that students frequently experience. In order to help students from Esa Unggul University's Faculty of Psychology identify symptoms of anxiety, manage their anxiety, and develop coping mechanisms while working on their theses, a community service project with the theme "Anti-Anxiety Facing Thesis" was implemented. This activity uses a webinar-based psychoeducational program that offers two resources: information on anxiety when confronted with a thesis and ways to combat anxiety while facing a thesis. The event took place on November 13, 2023. The results of this activity demonstrated that there was a substantial difference between before and after the psychoeducation webinar "Anti Anxiety Facing Thesis" was delivered to students at the Faculty of Psychology, Esa Unggul University. As a result, students at Esa Unggul University's Faculty of Psychology have reported feeling less anxious after attending the anti-anxiety psychoeducational webinar about theses.

Abstract

The use of technology is increasingly widespread and even dominates every human activity. The importance of digital literacy to deal with the negative impacts of technological advances is the basis for digital literacy in environmental and cultural conservation. This community service activity aims to improve digital literacy knowledge through the use of basic technology in the introduction of potential indigenous plants. Community service activities are carried out by empowering 18 youth organization (Karang Taruna). The method used during the activity is project-based learning based on natural history. The initial activity is to provide a pre-test and education on the introduction and use of plant applications. Furthermore, participants practice identifying and processing the information that has been obtained, so that local plant information is created in the form of a QR Code. Finally, an evaluation is carried out by providing a post-test. Training in the use of basic digital literacy technology for indigenous plants can increase the digital literacy knowledge of Karang Taruna’s member from 43.75% to 82.75%. With this increased knowledge, it is hoped that Karang Taruna can utilize basic technology to recognize indigenous plants as a form of environmental conservation and local cultural history.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has had a positive and negative impact on society. On the one hand, easy access to information and communication increases productivity. But on the other hand, cybercrimes such as data theft, fraud, and the spread of illegal content are increasing. This community service activity aims to provide a comprehensive understanding to the public about cybercrime, personal data protection, and strategies for preventing and overcoming cybercrime. Through the method of socialization and counseling, the service team delivered material on the types of cyber crimes, the impact caused, and legal remedies that could be taken. In addition, participants were also equipped with knowledge about the importance of personal data protection and how to secure digital information. This activity is expected to increase public awareness and vigilance in using digital technology safely and responsibly, as well as minimize the risk of becoming a victim of cybercrime.Abstrak: Kemajuan teknologi digital telah memberikan dampak positif dan negatif bagi masyarakat. Di satu sisi, kemudahan akses informasi dan komunikasi meningkatkan produktivitas. Namun di sisi lain, kejahatan dunia maya seperti pencurian data, penipuan, dan penyebaran konten ilegal semakin marak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif kepada masyarakat tentang kejahatan dunia maya, perlindungan data pribadi, serta strategi pencegahan dan penanggulangan kejahatan dunia maya. Melalui metode sosialisasi dan penyuluhan, tim pengabdian menyampaikan materi tentang jenis-jenis kejahatan dunia maya, dampak yang ditimbulkan, serta upaya hukum yang dapat ditempuh. Selain itu, peserta juga dibekali dengan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya perlindungan data pribadi dan cara mengamankan informasi digital. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan kewaspadaan masyarakat dalam menggunakan teknologi digital secara aman dan bertanggung jawab, serta meminimalisir risiko menjadi korban kejahatan dunia maya.

Permasalahan yang ditemukan dan solusi yang ditawarkan : Kurangnya modal, kurangnya akses pasar, kurangnya keterampilan dan kurangnya dukungan Pemerintah. Solusi: (1) Pemerintah desa dapat memberikan bantuan modal kepada para pelaku usaha di desa ini. Bantuan modal ini dapat berupa pinjaman lunak atau hibah. Bantuan modal ini dapat digunakan oleh para pelaku usaha untuk membeli bahan baku, peralatan, dan pemasaran. (2) Pemerintah desa dapat memberikan pelatihan kepada para pelaku usaha di desa ini. Pelatihan ini dapat berupa pelatihan manajemen, pemasaran, dan produksi. Pelatihan ini dapat membantu para pelaku usaha untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuannya sehingga dapat bersaing dengan pelaku usaha yang lebih besar dan lebih modern. (3) Pemerintah desa dapat memfasilitasi pelaku usaha di desa ini untuk mengakses pasar yang lebih luas. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengadakan pameran, bazar, dan promosi. Pemerintah desa juga dapat bekerja sama dengan pihak swasta untuk membantu para pelaku usaha dalam memasarkan produknya.Abstract. Solutions: (1) The village government can provide capital assistance to business actors in this village. This capital assistance can be in the form of soft loans or grants. This capital assistance can be used by business actors to purchase raw materials, equipment, and marketing. (2) The village government can provide training to business actors in this village. This training can be in the form of management, marketing, and production training. This training can help business actors to improve their skills and knowledge so that they can compete with larger and more modern business actors. (3) The village government can facilitate business actors in this village to access a wider market. This can be done by holding exhibitions, bazaars, and promotions. The village government can also work with the private sector to help business actors market their products.

Abstract

Pengetahuan mengenai obat merupakan suatu hal yang mestinya dimiliki oleh masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan oleh meningkatnya pengobatan mandiri yang dilakukan masyarakat yang memiliki risiko terjadi kesalahan dalam penggunaan obat, penyimpanan, sampai cara membuang obat yang tidak sesuai dengan petunjuk yang telah ditetapkan. DAGUSIBU merupakan sebuah program untuk meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat melalui pelayanan kesehatan yang dilakukan tenaga kefarmasian. Kegiatan edukasi ini berlangsung pada tanggal 31 Agustus 2024 di SMK Bina Bangsa Banjarmasin. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terkait konsep DAGUSIBU (Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan, Buang Obat) yang meliputi bagaimana cara mendapatkan obat yang benar, aturan penggunaan, penyimpanan yang tepat, serta tata cara membuang obat yang tidak lagi digunakan. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini berupa penyuluhan dan praktik. Peserta kegiatan yaitu siswa/i anggota PMR berjumlah 24 orang beserta guru pembimbing PMR. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada siswa tentang pengelolaan obat yang aman dan tepat sesuai dengan konsep DAGUSIBU. Kegiatan edukasi ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang cara mendapatkan, menggunakan, menyimpan, dan membuang obat dengan benar. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta sebesar 25,29%.Abstract. Knowledge about drugs is something that society should have. This is caused by the increase in self-medication carried out by the community which carries the risk of errors in drug use, storage, and even how to dispose of drugs that do not comply with the instructions that have been set. DAGUSIBU is a program to improve public health through health services provided by pharmaceutical personnel. This educational activity took place on August 31 2024 at Bina Bangsa Vocational School, Banjarmasin. This program aims to increase students' understanding of the concept of DAGUSIBU (Get, Use, Store, Dispose of Medicines) which includes how to get the right medicines, rules for use, proper storage, and procedures for disposing of medicines that are no longer used. The methods used in this activity are counseling and practice. The activity participants were 24 PMR student members along with PMR supervising teachers. This activity is designed to provide students with understanding and skills regarding safe and appropriate medication management in accordance with the DAGUSIBU concept. This educational activity succeeded in increasing students' understanding of how to obtain, use, store and dispose of medicines correctly. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, there was a significant increase in participants' understanding of 25.29%

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) mengenai sosialisasi pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun cuci piring dilakukan pada 21 Agustus 2024 di Kelurahan Medan Tenggara-Kecamatan Medan Denai-Kota Medan. PKM ini terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu sosialisasi mengenai dampak negatif dari limbah minyak jelantah, pemberdayaan kepada Ibu-Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT) melalui sosialisasi pembuatan sabun cuci piring dari minyak jelantah, dan kuesioner. Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada IRT di Kelurahan Medan Tenggara-Kecamatan Medan Denai-Kota Medan mengenai dampak negatif dari limbah minyak jelantah bagi tubuh, menanggulangi dampak negatif dari limbah minyak jelantah yang dibuang sebarangan, serta menangani pengolahan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun cuci piring yang bernilai ekonomis. Pengabdian masyarakat ini diikuti oleh 21 orang IRT di Kelurahan Medan Tenggara-Kecamatan Medan Denai-Kota Medan. Hasil analisis kuesioner yang telah dibagikan kepada peserta menunjukkan mereka sangat setuju atau setuju bahwa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat, paham mengenai dampak negatif penggunaan minyak jelantah, dan para peserta ingin mempraktikkan pembuatan sabun cuci piring.  Abstract. Community Service (PKM) regarding the socialization of the utilization of used cooking oil waste into dishwashing soap was carried out on August 21, 2024 in Medan Tenggara Village-Medan Denai District-Medan City. This PKM consists of 3 stages, namely socialization regarding the negative impacts of used cooking oil waste, empowerment of Housewives (IRT) through socialization of making dishwashing soap from used cooking oil, and questionnaires. The purpose of this Community Service is to provide an understanding to IRT in Medan Tenggara Village-Medan Denai District-Medan City regarding the negative impacts of used cooking oil waste on the body, overcome the negative impacts of used cooking oil waste that is disposed of carelessly, and handle the processing of used cooking oil waste into dishwashing soap that has economic value. This community service was attended by 21 IRT in Medan Tenggara Village-Medan Denai District-Medan City. The results of the questionnaire analysis that had been distributed to participants showed that they strongly agreed or agreed that this activity was very useful, understood the negative impacts of using used cooking oil, and the participants wanted to practice making dish soap.

Mahasiswa kerap dihadapkan pada berbagai tekanan akademik dan pribadi yang dapat memicu stres, sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk mengelola tekanan ini guna menjaga kesejahteraan mental. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen stres kepada mahasiswa agar mereka dapat mengelola stres secara efektif. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 30 orang mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi modul pelatihan, tes pengetahuan (pretest dan posttest) untuk mengukur pemahaman peserta, serta Perceived Stress Scale untuk menilai tingkat stres sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan: a) 90% peserta mengalami stres sedang, 6,7% stres rendah, dan 3,3% stres berat; b) nilai pretest berkisar antara 10 hingga 60, dengan peningkatan signifikan pada nilai posttest (rentang 70-100); c) skor N-Gain rata-rata sebesar 71,71 yang termasuk dalam kategori efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen stres. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan yang diberikan efektif dalam membantu mahasiswa mengenali dan mengelola stres, yang penting bagi keseimbangan emosional dan performa akademik mereka.Abstract. Students are often faced with various academic and personal pressures that can trigger stress, so efforts are needed to manage this pressure to maintain mental well-being. This service activity aims to provide stress management knowledge and skills to students so that they can manage stress effectively. The training participants consisted of 30 students. The instruments used include training modules, knowledge tests (pretest and posttest) to measure participants' understanding, and the Perceived Stress Scale to assess stress levels before and after training. The results of data analysis showed: a) 90% of participants experienced moderate stress, 6.7% low stress, and 3.3% severe stress; b) pretest scores ranged from 10 to 60, with a significant increase in posttest scores (range 70-100); c) the average N-Gain score was 71.71 which is included in the effective category in improving stress management knowledge and skills. These findings confirm that the training provided is effective in helping students recognize and manage stress, which is important for their emotional balance and academic performance.

Abstract

Buntu Bedimbar Village is a village located on Jalan Batang Kuis Pasar VIII, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The location of this village is a rural area where there are still many fields or rice fields that are used for farming to meet living needs. The urgency of this community service is related to partner problems, namely the absence of tools or technology that can assist in the process of peeling, shelling and chopping corn cobs, all work activities are carried out manually which in the end prolongs the work process time and has an impact on obtaining final results that are not optimal. The solution is to create a mechanical system of tools/machines for peeling, shelling and chopping corn cobs, to speed up the work process of corn farmers. The aim of this community service is to help solve problems faced by partners, namely by applying appropriate technology in the form of a multifunctional machine combining shellers, shellers and corn cob choppers using mechanical power that has been assembled in the mechanization of one work system. The implementation method is by coming directly to the location. partners, discussions look for partners' problems and then provide a solution, namely by making a multifunctional tool with a combination of mechanical system peeler, sheller and corn chopper. This tool works once to produce 3 outputs in the form of (corn peeler, corn sheller and corn cob chopper). The results of community service activities that have been carried out to date show that the community can accept this activity well, the tools provided can function and can help ease the work of corn farmers, especially during the harvest season.
