Abstract

Purpose: MSMEs are strategic businesses in driving the national economy, which are believed to be able to stabilize the financial system and economy because they have high economic resilience. Therefore, various supports are needed to improve the quality of MSME processed products, so the purpose of the community services is to help Alrosa MSME owners utilize technology to improve the quality of the products produced so that the products produced can be optimal and efficient. Method: The methods used are 1) identification, 2) implementation of activities, and 3) program evaluation. The activity was carried out at the production house of UMKM Alrosa Karangploso, Malang Regency. Practical Applications: The results of the community services are the increase in the quality and quantity of Alrosa MSME food products by utilizing spinner and oven technology and training in designing product packaging for MSMEs to make it attractive. Conclusion: The community services program provided to Alrosa MSMEs is well received and helpful in improving the quality of Alrosa MSME products.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum for elementary school teachers in Pangandaran Regency, emphasizing its significance in education. Method: Employing a qualitative approach and case studies, the research examines how teachers are using a contextual approach, local resources, and giving students freedom in learning. Challenges like inadequate training, limited resources, and administrative constraints are identified through thematic and descriptive analysis. Practical Applications: The research calls for the development of training and support programs to help teachers effectively implement the Merdeka Curriculum in primary schools. It also promotes a more adaptable educational approach in line with elementary students' needs. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of addressing challenges in Merdeka Curriculum implementation and offers insights into improving the quality of education while making it more flexible for elementary students.

Abstract

Purpose: This research paper aims to address the untapped tourism potential in RW 04 Pulo Geulis, Bogor City. It highlights the significance of empowering residents with feature writing skills to create compelling publications about the village's unique harmony of tolerance, ultimately boosting tourism and improving the local economy. Method: The study employs a Community Service Program (PKM) to provide feature writing training to the Pulo Geulis Tourism Community. It utilizes qualitative methods to assess participants' writing skills and gauge the impact of the training on their ability to produce quality publications. Practical Applications: The findings of this research have practical implications for both the tourism industry and community development efforts. By equipping residents with feature writing skills, the program enhances their capacity to promote Pulo Geulis as a tourist destination, attracting more visitors and stimulating economic growth in the area. Conclusion: This study underscores the importance of harnessing local resources and empowering communities to maximize tourism potential. By investing in skills development and community engagement, Pulo Geulis can capitalize on its cultural richness and promote sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

Purpose: The current community service activities aim to provide knowledge and skills related to mangosteen and its processed products to the Songgon Village community Method: Transfer of knowledge and skill by lecturing and practice. Pre and post-tests were carried out to evaluate the participants’ knowledge before and after the workshop. Practical Applications: The knowledge and skill gained by PKK and Karang Taruna cadres in this workshop can be implemented in daily life. The participants learned how to make innovative products from mangosteen fruit so that it can be produced commercially. Thus, in the long term is expected to increase the income of Songgon Village Community. Conclusion: The results showed the participants' enthusiasm to participate in this activity, and the pre and post-tests demonstrated increased knowledge and skills. The next step requires intensive support for the Songgon Village community so that their products can be distributed commercially and provide economic benefits.

Abstract

Purpose: This research addresses increasing online sales competition and the use of SEO techniques, focusing on UD Bima Baru's Instagram. Method: This study employs a mixed-method research approach. The research design involves a combination of qualitative and quantitative elements to comprehensively investigate the impact of SEO techniques on online sales via Instagram. Data collection encompasses surveys, website traffic analytics, and content analysis of the Instagram account. Statistical analysis and content coding are utilized to derive meaningful insights from the collected data. Practical Applications: Our findings offer practical advantages, enhancing online visibility, engagement, and sales benefiting businesses across industries. Conclusion: This research highlights SEO's effectiveness in boosting visitor traffic and sales, offering actionable insights for thriving in the digital marketplace.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to enhance Panca Perkasa Coffee Milling Company's competitiveness amidst intense competition with similar UMKMs, which has led to a decline in coffee product sales and negatively impacted the company's growth. The study identifies strengths such as affordable prices, accepted quality, consistent production capacity, and preservative-free raw materials while noting product development and monitoring weaknesses. Method: The study utilizes a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research designs. Data collection methods include surveys, interviews with key stakeholders, and analysis of sales and production records. Analytical techniques involve SWOT analysis to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, alongside statistical methods to evaluate sales trends and customer preferences. Practical Applications: The findings suggest practical strategies for network expansion, such as forming partnerships with distributor agents and leveraging technology, especially social media, to reach broader markets and attract new customers. Additionally, maintaining price stability, improving product quality, ensuring production continuity, and introducing attractive packaging innovations are recommended to boost competitiveness. Conclusion: The study concludes that implementing the identified strategies can significantly enhance Panca Perkasa Coffee Milling Company's market presence and sales. The results highlight the importance of strategic marketing, technological utilization, and continuous product improvement in overcoming competition and fostering business growth.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge about simple financial bookkeeping, enhance the skills of inmates in financial bookkeeping, understand effective financial management strategies, and encourage active participation of inmates in entrepreneurship upon their release. Method: The team determined the methods used in this activity, which are workshops, case studies, and practical exercises. Practical Applications: The outcomes of this activity include active participation of participants, indicating their interest and motivation to learn and enhance their knowledge in financial bookkeeping. Participants experience an increased understanding of financial management, especially in financial bookkeeping. They also develop improved practical skills in financial management, particularly in financial bookkeeping. Conclusion: This training has long-term impacts on participants. These impacts include increased financial independence, a change in perspective towards financial management, improved job skills, motivation to develop businesses after release, and minimizing the risk of reoffending.

Abstract

Purpose: Plastic recycling is important for environmental conservation and is also a form of business unit that provides employment opportunities for the surrounding community. The plastic waste management business has good prospects, because the reality is that until now the raw materials for plastic recycling production still have to be imported to meet production needs. This Community Partnership Empowerment (PKM) focuses on efforts to increase the independence of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) engaged in the management and recycling of plastic waste. Method: The methods used to overcome the problems faced by partners are business management training through business planning for business development, so that partner businesses tend to stagnate and training in applying financial management properly, so that the development of capital, assets, and business profits has not been measured. Conclusion: increase partner independence through strengthening plastic waste management business management and increase partner knowledge about a comprehensive management system

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this seminar is to address the persistent issue of stunting, which remains a serious problem in Indonesia despite a decrease in prevalence from 2.8% to 21.6%. The specific aim is to enhance public health quality by increasing parental knowledge about stunting, particularly in Ara Condong Village, which has a nearly zero stunting rate. Method: The approach involves educational methods and direct observation of parents. The process includes several stages: (1) data collection on stunting issues in the village, (2) obtaining permission from the village office to conduct seminar activities, (3) coordination with posyandu cadres, and (4) socialization of seminar activities to pregnant mothers and mothers with toddlers. Practical Applications: The practical application of this seminar is to provide educational information to parents about stunting, thereby increasing their knowledge and understanding of the issue. This is expected to contribute to the prevention of stunting in Ara Condong Village. Conclusion: Based on the results of the KKN 175 program aimed at preventing stunting in Ara Condong Village, it is hoped that these efforts will improve the quality of human resources in the village. Despite the low stunting rate in the village, the community remains vigilant and proactive in preventing stunting through education and awareness.

Abstract

Purpose: The project aimed to improve clove farming in Dulamayo Selatan village, Telaga Subdistrict, Gorontalo District, which is one of the clove-producing villages in Gorontalo Province. The team designed clove shelling technology to help farmers shell (separate the stalk and flower) their clove harvests. Method: The initial activity of the project was to conduct a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) or discussion with the farmer group partners. Training on making organic fertilizer (compost) was carried out, utilizing materials around which can then be applied to clove plants. The design of the clove shelling tool was carried out by the team along with the students involved. Practical Applications: The clove shelling tool has been handed over to the farmer group, a total of 5 tools. Through the introduction of clove shelling technology and training in making organic fertilizers, farmers’ knowledge related to technology adoption and understanding in clove farming efforts through counseling and simulation has increased. Conclusion: The project successfully introduced a new technology for clove shelling and provided training for making organic fertilizer. This has not only eased the process of clove farming but also increased the knowledge of farmers about technology adoption and understanding in clove farming efforts
