Abstract

Health program planning was carried out to develop a mature and well-organized health plan to achieve predetermined health goals within a certain timeframe. Based on a systems approach, a survey through questionnaires, and determining priority problems through USG (Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth), the result obtained was that 84% of teenage girls at SMPN 41 Surabaya did not adhere to consuming Iron Deficiency Anemia tablets (TTD). Following that, a root cause analysis of the issue was conducted utilizing a fishbone diagram, and the main cause related to this problem was found, which was the absence of a routine schedule for TTD assistance. Hence, several alternative solutions were given priority based on the MEER method (Methodology, Effectiveness, Efficiency, and Relevance).. From this method, it was concluded that the selected solution that could be implemented was the provision of the "Bebas Anemia Remaja Berkarya" program with the highest score of 400. The implementation of this program increased the understanding of teenage girls at SMPN 41 Surabaya from pre-test to post-test by at least 70% of those present, as well as increasing the adherence to taking Iron Deficiency Anemia tablets by at least 70% of the teenage girls at SMPN 41 Surabaya who were present

Abstract

This community service program is focused on improving the quality of mathematics learning at SMA Negeri 2 South Kuta, especially in terms of variety and alternative learning resources.  The main issues faced are the lack of varied learning resources and the lack of optimal scanning of innovations in learning to other teachers. The purpose of this service is to increase the understanding of the concept of Ethnomathematics and encourage its application as an alternative learning resource for mathematics teachers at SMA Negeri 2 South Kuta. The method used is mentoring with two sub-topics, namely providing an understanding of the concept of Ethnomathematics, the relationship between culture and mathematics, cultural approaches in learning, and the benefits of Ethnomathematics, and emphasizing the importance of understanding the social context in learning, inclusive learning, and connecting mathematics with the context of students' lives. Mentoring is carried out in four stages including planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Pre-test and post-test are used to measure the initial understanding and improvement of teachers' understanding related to Ethnomathematics. The mentoring succeeded in increasing teachers' understanding of Ethnomathematics. There was an increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores of 15.69%.  Six teachers managed to achieve the maximum score on the post-test, while the other five teachers showed a significant increase in comprehension.  These results show that mentoring has succeeded in making a positive contribution in improving teachers' understanding of Ethnomathematics

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a new curriculum aimed at improving the quality of education through a holistic approach, emphasizing the development of character, creativity, and multiple-intelligence of students. However, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Lamongan Regency faced several challenges, one of which was the limited understanding of teachers regarding the concepts and learning methodologies contained in the curriculum. To address these challenges, mentoring was provided to Madrasah IbtidaiyahI (Islamic Elementary School) teachers (a case study in Brondong Subdistrict, Lamongan). In this mentoring program, the subject of PKM (Community Service Program) was the teachers in 35 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) under the Working Group of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (KKMI) in Brondong Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. The assets (figuratively speaking) as the implementers of this program totaled 70 teachers, with two representatives from each madrasah. The mentoring method used the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, aiming to maximize the assets and potential of the madrasah, while involving active participation from all teachers. The mentoring results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum, reaching 71.43%. Teachers were also able to develop lesson plans that align with the principles of flexibility and contextualization, and implement active learning methods through practical activities reinforcing the Pancasila Student Profile Project and the Rahmatan lil Alamin Student Profile (P5-PPRA). This mentoring provided benefits and positive outcomes for the madrasah and students. The madrasah became more independent and achieved better performance, while students obtained higher-quality and more meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

In the modern era, children's awareness of Karawitan culture, especially elementary school students, is decreasing because many foreign cultures have stepped foot in Indonesia. The children's interest in studying foreign cultures is much greater than studying their own culture. This is the basis for holding Karawitan mentoring activities at SDN Ngastemi 1 Bangsal and SDN Dukuhngarjo Jatirejo, Mojokerto Regency, to stimulate and encourage students' awareness of local culture, particularly in Karawitan. The method used in this community engagement was Participatory Action Research (PAR). The data were obtained from several steps, namely visiting the village elders, introducing gamelan notation and its way, and training for gamelan. After participating in this community engagement, the children received support from teachers, parents and the surrounding community in caring for and preserving local culture.

Abstract

Village’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is an indicator used to retrieve the village's development performance. This indicator was applied to all villages in Indonesia, including Yosowilangun in Gresik Regency. This village has low scores on indicators related to economics. This needs to be a concern because the village's potential to become an economically independent village is quite high. This potential is reflected in the number of registered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The village officials are also active in helping to empower them in terms of capital. However, this is still not effective because the indicator value for Equitable Village Economic Growth is only 34.96. Apart from that, the participation rate is also still low, with only around 10%. This is caused by the difficulty of finding the markets. Car Free Day is considered capable of solving this problem. Therefore, this service activity is carried out by providing assistance to related parties to analyze the CFD urgencies. The main focus is an analysis document that can be used to simplify the implementation process. The results of the study indicate that Yosowilangun Village is capable of holding a CFD if seen from the prospective location, potential visitors, and potential demand.

Abstract

The development of the country through tourism development is currently a priority program for the central and regional governments. This is not unusual considering the country's economic condition which has experienced a decline after the Covid pandemic over the last two years. The development of tourism villages carried out by the government of Sekapuk Village, Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency is one part of the village government's plan to improve the community's economy. The main problem currently being faced is the lack of skills and productivity of community micro, small and medium enterprises as well as the management of PIRT and the legality of MSME products. that has been produced. Empowerment with the title development of tourism villages based on community empowerment towards economic independence aims to 1) alleviate community poverty through sustainable development of community micro, small and medium enterprises, 2) assist in analyzing the potential and realization of micro, small and medium enterprises oriented towards community empowerment towards economic independence. The approach used in this empowerment is a collaborative PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach between researchers and the community to formulate joint problems, plan and carry out joint actions to solve existing problems in a sustainable manner.
