Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher competence in the use of digital learning media, which is increasingly relevant in the era of information technology. This competence includes the ability of teachers to select, manage, and optimize digital media to support the teaching and learning process. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through interviews, observations, and questionnaires to teachers in several schools. The results of the analysis show that most teachers have a basic understanding of digital media but still face challenges in using it optimally, such as limited technical knowledge, access to devices, and lack of special training. Supporting factors, such as the availability of infrastructure and support from the school, also affect the ability of teachers to utilize digital learning media. Recommendations from this study include the need for ongoing training and improved facilities so that teachers are better prepared to integrate technology into the learning process. This study is expected to provide insight for education policy makers to improve the quality of teacher competence in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership on the quality of Islamic education. Principals have a key role in determining the direction, strategy, and policies that have an impact on the success of educational establishments, particularly in regard to Islamic education that emphasizes moral, spiritual, and academic values. Effective leadership can create a conducive learning environment, motivate educators, and optimize student performance. A quantitative survey with several principals, teachers, and students is the research method employed from various Islamic schools. Data were analyzed using regression techniques to see the correlation between principal leadership variables and the quality of education. The results of the study indicate that participatory, inspiring, and adaptive principal leadership significantly improves the quality of Islamic education, as evidenced by rising academic achievement, the growth of religious character, and high teacher satisfaction. This study emphasizes how crucial it is to give principals more leadership skills in order to raise the standard of Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of active learning techniques on students' academic achievement through a comprehensive literature review. Active learning techniques, which include methods such as group discussion, simulation, and hands-on practice, are reported to improve students' understanding of subject matter as well as their learning motivation. The research method in this review uses the literature method. The results of the literature review show that students who engage in active learning processes gain a deeper understanding and are able to apply the concepts learnt more effectively compared to traditional learning methods. In addition, this technique is also proven to improve students' critical and analytical thinking skills, which has a positive impact on their academic performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that active learning techniques be integrated into the educational curriculum to encourage maximum academic achievement and the development of essential skills for students.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PBL) techniques applied by lecturers in higher education based on a literature study. The research method in this study uses the literature method. The study results show that PBL is able to improve the quality of learning by encouraging active student participation, as well as strengthening problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. However, the implementation of PBL also faces several challenges, including the need for lecturer training, greater time allocation, and adequate institutional support. Evaluation in PBL requires diverse and comprehensive assessment methods to measure student learning outcomes fairly and accurately. With good preparation and adequate support, PBL can be an effective and beneficial learning method in higher education.

Abstract

This study explores innovative learning strategies for early childhood that aim to improve global attainment. The research method undertaken was literature. By reviewing selected literature, this study highlights the importance of integrating technology, project-based learning and play activities in the early education curriculum. The review showed that these approaches can increase children's engagement and develop important skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving. However, there are significant challenges such as limited access to technology in remote areas and a lack of training for educators. This research emphasises the importance of collaborative support from government, parents and communities to overcome these barriers. With concerted efforts, this innovative learning strategy can effectively prepare children to face the global demands of the future.

Abstract

This research explores teaching methodology innovations in primary schools as an effective strategy to improve the quality of teacher education. Innovations such as project-based approaches, flipped classroom, and digital technology integration are analysed to see their impact on teachers‘ professional development and students’ learning experience. The research method used in this study is the literature review method. The results show that the application of these new methodologies helps teachers deepen their subject matter and pedagogy, and improve their competence and motivation. Continuous support through training and seminars is essential for the successful implementation of this innovation. In addition, the innovative teaching methodology was shown to promote students' engagement and understanding, which in turn improved their academic outcomes and social-emotional skills. The findings confirm the importance of innovative teaching methodologies in creating a dynamic and high-quality learning environment in primary schools.

Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of the "Merdeka Curriculum" in Indonesian schools, which aims to provide greater opportunities for fostering students' creativity and potential. This curriculum is expected to enhance the quality of education amidst various existing challenges. Although the Merdeka Curriculum holds great potential, its implementation faces obstacles such as teachers' readiness and competence, as well as limited educational infrastructure, particularly in remote areas. Government policy support is a key factor in its successful application. This research employs a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with teachers, school principals, and education officials. Policy document analysis is also conducted to understand government strategies in supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum positively contributes to students' creativity development. However, significant challenges include the preparedness of educators and unequal distribution of supporting facilities. Policies such as teacher training, the "Sekolah Penggerak" (Driving School) program, and strengthening educational facilities are considered helpful but still require further improvement. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum demands serious attention to continuous teacher training and equitable distribution of educational resources. It is recommended that the government conduct a comprehensive evaluation of existing policies and increase investment in educational infrastructure to ensure the curriculum's success across all regions of Indonesia.

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education offers tremendous opportunities to improve personalization of learning, administrative efficiency, and accessibility of education at scale. AI can quickly analyze student data, provide real-time learning recommendations, and ease the administrative burden on teachers, freeing them up to focus on teaching. However, the application of AI in education also presents significant challenges, such as inequitable access to technology and potential bias in algorithms that could exacerbate existing inequities. To address these challenges and maximize the benefits of AI, collaboration between governments, educational institutions, and technology providers is needed to ensure that AI integration is done in an inclusive, equitable, and ethical manner.

Abstract

An effective strategy to reduce education disparities is a coordinated effort that combines systemic approaches and direct interventions to ensure equitable access to quality education for all students. Systemic approaches include education policy reform and teacher quality improvement, while direct interventions include financial aid and inclusive education programmes. Collaboration between various stakeholders is also considered important to address the factors that cause education disparities. The results of this study show that a combination of systemic approaches and direct interventions are needed to achieve significant results. Systemic approaches, including education policy reform and teacher quality improvement, are crucial to creating inclusive and sustainable education. Direct interventions, such as the provision of scholarships and financial aid, are important to improve accessibility for disadvantaged students. In addition, partnerships between the government, non-governmental organisations and the private sector are considered vital in addressing the various factors causing disparities. Then, this study emphasises the need for continuous evaluation and adjustment of evidence-based strategies to ensure fair and equitable education for all children.

Abstract

As we journey through the 21st century, the world of education is undergoing a profound transformation fuelled by sophisticated and exotic technological advances. These rapid developments in technology open up invaluable opportunities. It promises to improve the quality and effectiveness of learning experiences, engage students at a deeper level, expand access to a wealth of learning resources, and develop skills that are crucial in this new era. In addition, technology embellishes the assessment and evaluation process, making it more effective and efficient. Moreover, it becomes a beacon of inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that learning is accessible to all. However, the successful integration of these innovations depends on strong infrastructure, improved educator competencies, supportive policies, and collaborative efforts between all stakeholders. With a holistic and synergistic approach, the transformation of education through technology not only promises innovation and interaction; it shapes a richer and higher-quality learning environment. Such an environment nurtures the younger generation.
