Abstract

This research analyses the relationship between memorizing the Al-Qur'an and students' academic achievement in Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects at SD IT Tahfidzul Quran An Nahl. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design to measure the relationship between the amount and quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an and science learning outcomes for students in grades 4 and 5. The research sample consisted of 27 students who were selected purposively. Data on the amount of memorization was taken from the accumulated results of daily evaluations of Al-Qur'an memorization. In contrast, the quality of memorization was assessed based on tajwid, Maharaj, and fluency. Science learning outcomes were obtained from the final summative assessment of even grades 4 and 5 semesters. Data were analyzed using Pearson's descriptive and correlational statistics. The research results show a positive correlation between the amount of memorization and the quality of memorization and science learning outcomes. These findings indicate that memorizing the Qur'an contributes to students' spiritual development and positively impacts their academic achievement, especially in science subjects. This research provides important insights for developing an integrative curriculum, combining religious and academic education to achieve holistic development of students.

Abstract

Riset pengembangan ini dilakukan guna menghasilkan produk berupa multimedia interaktif berbasis PBL dan perangkat pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan KPM siswa yang layak, praktis, dan efektif pada materi teori kinetik gas. Jenis riset ini termasuk ke dalam Research and Development (R&D) dengan model yang dipakai yaitu 4D dengan tahapannya yakni Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Produk multimedia interaktif berbasis PBL dihasilkan dalam bentuk media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi android dan web. Produk lain yang dihasilkan perangkat pembelajaran meliputi silabus, RPP, LKPD, dan instrumen tes Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah (KPM). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket tanggapan siswa, dan instrumen tes KPM. Kelayakan produk diukur oleh validator ahli dan praktisi, kemudian dilakukan pengkajian dengan skala Linker. Kepraktisan pembelajaran diukur dari lembar pengamatan yang dinilai guru dan angket tanggapan siswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran. Keefektifan diukur dari hasil peningkatan skor tes awal dan tes akhir pada uji coba skala terbatas yang dianalisis melalui uji N-gain. Produk hasil riset pengembangan ini memperoleh rata-rata persentase validasi sebesar 87,50%, dengan kriteria sangat valid dan rata-rata reliabilitas lebih dari 75%, sehingga produk tersebut layak digunakan. Praktikalitas produk memperoleh persentase sebesar 87,50% yang dinilai oleh guru dan 81,20% yang dinilai oleh siswa, keduanya memenuhi kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji N-gain untuk KPM siswa sebesar 0,66 dengan kriteria sedang yang menyatakan cukup efektif. Kesimpulannya bahwa produk yang dihasilkan layak, sangat praktis, dan cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan KPM fisika siswa.

Abstract

Research on improving the quality of rajumas wood (Duabanga moluccana) through heat treatment aims to determine the effect of heat treatment on the physical and mechanical properties of rajumas wood. This study used an experimental method with an experimental design in the form of a non-factorial complete randomized design, namely the temperature factor with the treatment of three temperature variations of 140oC, 160oC, 180oC and three replications. Heat treatment carried out in this study caused changes in the three parameters of the physical properties of rajumas wood tested, namely moisture content, density, and dimensional stability. Changes in the physical properties of wood occurred in all three variations of treatment temperature (140oC, 160oC, 180oC). Heat treatment results showed a positive response that can improve the physical properties of rajumas wood. Heat treatment showed an increase in MoE and MoR wood mechanics properties as the treatment temperature increased. The use of 160oC heating temperature gives the highest MoE and MoR improvement results and the use of higher heating temperatures will reduce wood mechanics. Heat treatment method can be an effective method in improving wood properties.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and determine the feasibility and practicality of reading board learning media using letter cards containing the local wisdom of the Sasak tribe for class II students at SDN 20 Ampenan. The research method used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research subjects were 10 class II students at SDN 20 Ampenan. The research instruments used consisted of media and material expert validation questionnaires, as well as teacher and student response questionnaires. The research results obtained were that reading board learning media using letter cards containing local wisdom of the Sasak tribe received an eligibility percentage of 87% from media experts with appropriate criteria, and 97% from both material experts with very appropriate criteria. Then, the percentage of practicality was 94.5% of student responses with very practical criteria, and 96.6% of teacher responses with very practical criteria. So, based on the research results, it can be concluded that the reading board learning media using letter cards containing the local wisdom of the Sasak tribe is declared feasible and practical for use in the reading learning process for class II students at SDN 20 Ampenan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education approach assisted by concrete media on the critical thinking abilities of class IV students at SDN 39 Cakranegara in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest posttest design. The average pretest score was 45.67 and the average posttest score increased, namely 85.18. Data analysis techniques were carried out using hypothesis tests, and n-gain tests. Based on the research results, it shows that the Paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS 25.0 for Windows obtained a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.05, where Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that the Realistic Mathematics Education approach assisted by concrete media has an influence on the critical thinking abilities of class IV students at SDN 39 Cakranegara.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a minimum competency assessment instrument for reading literacy containing Sasak local wisdom in class V at SDN 33 Mataram. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research with five stages. Analyze produces an analysis of the needs of students in schools related to assessment instruments that have not yet reached the measurement of reading literacy competency. Design, namely designing assessment instruments by making grids, writing stimuli, writing question items and answer keys, work instructions, and scoring guidelines. Development, namely developing products through the testmoz website and carrying out expert validation. Implementation by testing assessment instruments to determine validity, reliability and practicality and applying them to real classes. Evaluation, testing product effectiveness. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, documentation and tests. This research was conducted at SDN 33 Mataram using evaluation and language expert validation sheet instruments, teacher and student response questionnaires, as well as reading literacy assessment instruments. The results of the research show that the minimum competency assessment instrument for reading literacy containing Sasak local wisdom received a percentage of 94.2% from evaluation experts, a percentage of 100% from language experts, a percentage of 97.8% with very practical criteria from teacher responses, a percentage of 91.5% with criteria very practical from the students' responses, getting the results of 23 valid and reliable questions from the results of the analysis of the questions after the trial. Testing effectiveness with a one sample T-test using SPSS 26 with a significance value of 0.000<0.05 means there is a difference in the average student score and the test value. Therefore, it can be concluded based on the research results that the development of a minimum competency assessment instrument for reading literacy containing Sasak local wisdom in class V can be declared valid, reliable, practical and effectively used in measuring students reading literacy abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of academic supervision by the principal in developing the professional competence of teachers at elementary school. This research uses a case study method. The subjects or respondents of this study are the principal and teachers of SDN 03 Wukirsawit, Jatiyoso, Karanganyar. The types of data include results from observations, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the principal has designed a systematic classroom observation program, including preparation, implementation, and discussion of observation results; (2) the implementation of supervision involves assessments through pre-observation, observation, and post-observation; (3) the results of the supervision are analyzed to identify the weaknesses and strengths of the teachers; (4) principles such as practicality, objectivity, cooperation, family-like atmosphere, democracy, comprehensiveness, and continuity have been applied by the principal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the shadow teacher’s role in the learning process of slow learners in elementary school. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design involving four fifth-grade slow learner students who were selected through purposive sampling at MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar. The research instruments consisted of academic tests, questionnaires, and observations to measure changes in academic achievement and students' perceptions of learning through shadow teachers. The analysis results showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (t = -5.10, df = 3, p = 0.015), indicating that special assistance was effective in improving students' learning outcomes. Furthermore, the questionnaire results revealed that students experienced positive changes in understanding, motivation, and confidence in learning. This study provides strong empirical support for implementing shadow teachers as an effective strategy in inclusive education for slow learner students in elementary schools.

Abstract

Formaldehyde is a dangerous air pollutant with severe health impacts. It can cause respiratory issues such as coughing, shortness of breath, and chest pain. In extreme cases, it can even lead to fluid buildup in the lungs, a condition that can be life-threatening. Formaldehyde can be measured using various chemical analysis methods, ranging from classical methods to modern instrument-based techniques, such as specific chemical reagents that react with formaldehyde, spectroscopy, chromatography, and electronic-based sensor techniques. This research aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the evolution of research related to formaldehyde measurements, especially relative humidity. This type of research is a systematic literature review (SLR) using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) method. The database used was Scopus, covering the years 2014 to 2023, and obtained 3,489 documents. The literature review results show a significant influence between relative humidity (RH) and formaldehyde emissions from various building materials, such as paint, wood panels, and furniture materials. The consistency of these findings suggests that relative humidity influences the amount of formaldehyde released into indoor air.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk Media Pembelajaran Audio Visual Powtoon Berbasis Kudapan Khas Suku Sasak yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Tahapan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran yaitu: 1) analisis: menganalisis kebutuhan, 2) Desain: merancang produk yang dikembangkan, membuat storyboard dan naskah video, 3) Pengembangan: pembuatan dan pengembangan dari rancangan storyboard dan naskah video dan validasi. Hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 84 % dengan kategori sangat valid dan ahli materi 72% dengan kategori valid. 4) Implementasi: dilakukan penerapan media pembelajaran untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan efektifitas. Uji coba untuk mengetahui kepraktisan media yaitu menggunakan kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 93,33% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan uji coba kelompok besar 89,68% dengan kategori sangat praktis. 5) Evaluasi: dilakukan penilaian terhadap hasil evaluasi siswa untuk melihat efektivitas produk. Berdasarkan hasil Uji N-Sign Score hasil perhitungan nilai rata-rata N-Gain Score sebesar 80,11 % dengan kategori efektif. Maka dapat disimpulkan media pembelajaran audio visual Powtoon berbasis kudapan khas suku sasak efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada muatan pelajaran IPA kelas 5 SDN 1 Lembuak.
