Cancer is one of the biggest causes of death in the world and is still a health problem that still cannot be found the right treatment to overcome it. One of the cancers that cannot be ruled out is skin cancer, which occurs as a result of being exposed to direct sunlight for a long time and often without using skin protection or sunscreen. Cancer treatment that is currently being carried out is surgical therapy, chemotherapy which has adverse side effects for patients such as therapy that not only kills cancer cells but also healthy cells. The current therapy needed is the formulation of topical preparations that can be used to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. This study aims to make a cream preparation from turmeric extract to inhibit the growth of melanoma cells. This research was made experimentally by formulating turmeric rhizome extract into cream preparations at a concentration of 0.5%; 2.5% ; 5% ; 10% and 20% were tested against melanoma cell inhibition in vitro. Melanoma cell inhibition testing was carried out using the MTT Assay method by looking at the IC50 value of turmeric extract cream in inhibiting the growth of melanoma cells. The results showed that 20% turmeric rhizome extract cream was the formulation that gave the best IC50 value of 524.42 ± 5.2 g/mL.

Abstract

Because of the resources limitation so resource allocation is a fundamental issue for public sector budgeting especially revenue and expenditure calculation. Regional budget distribution shows local government policies on development funding whereas capital expenditure is concerned with a component of direct expenditure of government budgets that deliver output in the form of fixed asset. This study purposes to determine factors that impress capital expenditure allocation of local governments, are Economic Growth and Regional Revenue (PAD). The population of this study is 35 local governments in the Province of Central Java, Indonesia. By employing multiple regression analysis, t and F test on secondary data from the 2015-2020 Budget Realization Reports of local governments in the Central Java Province, the result shows that economic growth and regional income partially and simultaneously have a positive effect on capital expenditure. These findings imply that local governments should look more carefully at managing their finances, have a strong desire, and provide capital for capital expenditures that have implications for the long-term welfare of local communities. The limitation of this research is that this research is carried out with a quantitative approach and to find out the real conditions in decision making on local government budgeting, it is recommended for further research to use a mixed quantitative and qualitative method.

Abstract

This study aims to answer the influence of employee motivation and performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable in the village unit cooperative, Kampung Rakyat sub-district. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 35 members of the Kampung Rakyat cooperative. This study uses quantitative methods and performs data processing with the tools of IBM SPSS Statistic 22. This analysis includes reliability tests, validity tests, classical assumption tests, statistical tests, multiple linear regression tests and moderation tests using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of the tests conducted in this study indicate that job satisfaction (M) can moderate the effect of motivation (X1) on employee performance (Y). These results are shown through the regression equation with the interaction test or often referred to as Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) which shows the results that job satisfaction (M) influences or moderates the effect of motivational variables (X1) on employee performance (Y). The results of the t test show that the motivation variable (X1) provides a parameter coefficient value (?) of 0.012 with a significant level of 0.027 (significant), the job satisfaction variable (M) provides a parameter coefficient value (?) of 0.023 and a significant value of 0.000 (significant). ). Or in other words job satisfaction strengthens the influence of motivation on employee performance. Thus, the results of this study can prove hypothesis 2 that job satisfaction moderates the effect of motivation on employee performance.
