Abstract

The districts of Situbondo, Bondowoso and Jember are the centers of residence for the Pandalungan community. Pandalungan community is a society with mixed cultures, namely Java and Madura. Most of them live in urban areas. Like other community entities, some of these communities have not consumed organic food plants, given the scarcity of information about organic plants. The objectives of this study were: (1) to determine the effect of plant organic food product attributes as healthier food plants, and the discomfort caused by organic food plants on the motivation to shift consumption through the attitude of shifting non-organic food plant products to organic food plants. ; (2) to determine the effect of moderating motivation to elaborate information on the effect of product attributes and discomfort on product switching attitudes. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS applications, the research sample of 250 respondents selected from the three research areas, with proportional random sampling method. The results of the study show that product attributes have a positive and significant effect on product switching attitudes, as well as their influence on the motivation to shift consumption to organic food crops. Meanwhile, discomfort has a significant negative effect both on product switching attitudes and on motivation for shifting consumption. Product switching attitude has a positive and significant effect on the motivation to shift in consumption. The moderating effect of motivation on elaborating information strengthens the effect of product attributes on product switching attitudes, but the moderating effect of motivation on elaborating on information through discomfort is proven insignificant. The interactive structural equation function mathematically can be written as follows: (1) SK = 1,420 AT– 0.773 KN + 0.278 ATml - 0.198 KNml + e3; and (2) NI = 1.366 AT - 1.466 KN + 0.768 SK + 0.425 ATml - 0.787 KNml + 0.570 SKml + e4. shows that product attribute improvements can be widely and continuously informed to the public so that people will know and be able to make comparisons with competitors' products. This will motivate more wisely towards product switching. This finding related to the limited alternative product choices; product constraints are difficult to find, high prices (Zanoli & Naspetti; 2002, and Chinnici, and friends; 2002). Low availability in the market (Kalafatis, and friends;, 2009: Magnusson, and friends; 2012, Vindigni, and friends; 2002, Tarlanen & Sundqvist; 2005, Chen; 2009); and the minimum number of alternative options (Chinnici, and friends; 2002) as well as the cost of switching (Anton, and friends; 2007).

Abstract

The development of information technology is currently very rapid and unavoidable, especially in the world of education. Global demands require the education sector to constantly adjust technological developments with efforts to improve the quality of education, adjust the use of information and communication technology. STMIK Rosma is a university that utilizes computer technology. However, there are still shortcomings, namely the absence of a student complaint application so that the process of submitting student complaints is still running manually. This results in not recording student complaints, student complaint data not well documented, so that the college leadership of the campus cannot monitor the complaints submitted by students. This study aims to analyze the functional requirements of the STMIK Rosma student complaint application. The method used in this research is Design Thinking. The result of this research is the UI / UX design of the student complaint handling application (mobile application) at STMIK Rosma Karawang which is designed using the classic mockuplus tools. This research is expected to provide suggestions to universities to improve the process of handling student complaints.

Abstract

Skin disease was a disease that attacked the surface of the body, and was caused by various agents, one was bacteria. One of the plants that had antibacterial activity was jengkol leaf (Archidendron pauciflorum Benth.) I.C. Nielsen because it contained compounds that had antibacterial properties that had previously been studied by other researchers against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria. So that researcher was interested in researching on the antibacterial activity of jengkol leaves (Archidendron pauciflorum Benth.) I.C. Nielsen against Staphylococcus epidermidis and Propionibacterium acnes. Fresh Jengkol leaves were processed into simplicia and extracted using 96% ethanol. Phytochemical screening was carried out on simplicia powder and extracts of jengkol leaves. Ethanol extract jengkol leaves was made in several concentrations, namely 20%, 25%, and 30%, positive control using Tetracycline HCl, and negative control using 1% DMSO. There were several tests carried out on jengkol leaves in addition to phytochemical screening, namely examination of simplicia characteristic including macroscopic examination, microscopic examination, examination of water content, examination of water-soluble extract levels, examination of ethanol-soluble extracts, examination of total ash content, and also an examination of acid-insoluble ash levels and antibacterial activity test of jengkol leaves. The results of phytochemical screening showed that the compound of jengkol leaves (Archidendron pauciflorum Benth.) I.C. Nielsen contained a class of secondary metabolites of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, steroids/triterpenoids, and glycosides. And for the results of the antibacterial activity research also showed that jengkol leaves could be used as antibacterial because it has a strong inhibitory power at a concentration of 20% and the strongest at a concentration of 30% against Staphylococcus epidermidis, namely 15.06 mm and 17.83 mm, while in diameter of growth inhibition zone Propionibacterium acnes was 15.86 mm and 18.1 mm.

Abstract

The buas buas (Premna pubescens Blume) plant is from the Lamiaceae family. The use of ethanol extract of buas buas leaf (Premna pubescens Blume) as soap is because soap is one of the health products needed by many people to maintain a healthy body. It is used as an antibacterial because buas buas leaves contain secondary metabolites that can be used as antibacterial. The Buas buas leaf Simplicia (Premna pubescens Blume) was extracted using 96% ethanol by maceration and concentrated with a rotary evaporator to evaporate the solvent. The concentrated extract obtained was tested by phytochemical screening, formulated into liquid soap with concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15% and tested for pH, foam height, viscosity, specific gravity and irritation test, and antibacterial activity against staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The results of the phytochemical screening test of the ethanol extract of buas buas leaf (Premna pubescens Blume) contained secondary metabolites in the form of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins and steroids/triterpenoids. Liquid soap made with concentrations of 5%, 10%, and 15% has a pH of 10-10.3; foam height 50-90 mm; viscosity 1210-1290 cP; specific gravity 1-1.08 and did not cause irritation to volunteers; and have inhibitory power of 14.2 mm, 15.0 mm, 16.0 mm, and 20.0 mm against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, respectively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational commitment, organizational justice and job satisfaction as a mediation on teacher OCB. The research subjects were 64 teachers who teach at the Gamaliel Christian School in Palu with an age range of 20-55 years. Data obtained through questionnaires distributed using google form. The analysis technique used is SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square) using SmartPLS software version 3.3.2. The analysis results obtained that organizational justice has a positive effect on OCB, organizational commitment has a positive effect on OCB and organizational justice has a positive effect on OCB. While job satisfaction does not have a positive effect on OCB, organizational commitment does not have a positive effect on job satisfaction, organizational justice does not have a positive effect on OCB mediated by job satisfaction and organizational commitment has no positive effect on OCB mediated by job satisfaction. job satisfaction and OCB to teachers, the coefficient of determination of job satisfaction is only 17.9% which can be explained in this study, as well as the coefficient of determination of OCB is only 31.2% which can be explained in research i This means that there are about 82.1% of job satisfaction variables and 68.8% of OCB variables which can be explained from other variables outside the study such as motivation, transformational leadership. This study found that job satisfaction does not positively mediate organizational justice and organizational commitment to teachers, and this becomes input for the management of school organizational management.
