Abstract

The quality of education is reflected by the competence of graduates which is influenced by the quality of the process and content of education. Achievement of graduate competencies that meet standards must be supported by educational content and processes that also meet standards. Currently students tend to solve a problem by imitating the problem solving demonstrated by the teacher when discussing questions. In addition, later students will find it difficult to apply concepts to solve non-routine problems and real problems related to the concepts that have been studied. This is what causes the low ability of students to solve problems. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, this method is used to solve the problem under study where this research is aimed at extracting data and information related to the management of the learning system to improve the quality of student chemistry learning at SMA Negeri 8 and SMA Taman. Abstract

Banjar Regency as one of the second-level regions in South Kalimantan Province has an HDI value that always experiences growth and is included in the medium category. However, if we look at the average growth rate of HDI value (shortfall reduction) during this period, it is included in the low category, which is around 0.74 percent (2010-2021 period) and only ranks 11th out of 13 districts. This shows that development programs in Banjar Regency, although they have a positive impact on improving the quality of life of the population, are not large enough when compared to development programs that have been carried out by other regencies/cities.To be able to improve these conditions, of course, it is necessary to study the causes of the low rate of growth of the HDI in Banjar Regency on the three basic dimensions of forming the HDI, namely the Dimensions of Health, Dimensions of Education and Dimensions of Decent Living Standards. Where the health dimension is represented by life expectancy (AHH), the education dimension is represented by the Average Years of Schooling (RLS) and Expected Years of Schooling (HLS), and the dimension of Decent Living Standards is represented by the Adjusted Expenditure Figures (APP).The method used is descriptive quantitativequalitative, using the Partial Least Of Square (PLS) technique to determine the influence of the dimension indicators forming HDI. The results of this research are as follows: (1) Life Expectancy and Average Years of Schooling have no significant effect on the HDI Figures of Kab. Banjar, (2) Expected Years of Schooling and Adjusted Per capita Figures have a significant effect on HDI figures, (3) indicators forming HDI such as AHH, RLS, HSL and APP together have a significant effect on HDI Kab. Banjar because the significance value is (0.000) < 0.05. With a coefficient of determination (R Squared Change) of 1,000, it can be said that the variance of the HDI value is 100% influenced by the forming indicators and is not influenced by indicators other than the indicators forming the HDI, (4) The order of indicators that contribute the most to the HDI Regency. Banjar from the largest are: Expected Length of Schooling, Life Expectancy, Expenditure Per Capita and Average Length of Schooling. In this case it can be said that the attention of the district government. Banjar during the period 2010-2021 focused more on HLS, AHH and APP indicators than on RLS indicators (the indicator with the smallest contribution).

Abstract

The quality of education is very much influenced by factors, where one of the factors that affect the quality of education is the quality of learning in schools and can be seen from the increase in grades. Utilization of media in the learning process in the classroom to make the learning atmosphere fun and can increase student grades. The use of learning media to write rhymes can increase the learning motivation of 7th graders of Berastagi Private Middle School students. It can be seen from the results of simple linear regression testing that the t test significance value is 0.071 less than 0.1and the t regression coefficient is positive, meaning that the more frequent use of interactive learning media, the students' learning motivation will increase. There is a significant difference in value between before the use of interactive learning media and after the use of interactive power point learning media. It can be seen from the test results that the average paired sample difference produces a sig value of 0.000 less than 0.05. The value after using interactive learning media is higher than the value before using interactive power point learning media. Suggestions for further research to add other variables that affect students' learning motivation, because the results of this study indicate that the contribution of learning media to increasing students' learning motivation is only 3.8 percent. Suggestions for teachers to use interactive learning media as a means to deliver material to students, because it is proven that the use of interactive learning media can increase student values and motivation in learning.
