Abstract

Siswa memerlukan media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa mengurangi kecemasan matematika dan meningkatkan efikasi diri. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengembangkan modul untuk mengurangi kecemasan matematika dan meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa pada materi peluang. Penelitian Research and Development ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan lima tahap pengembangan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sumber data dan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan 1328 siswa dari 24 SMP di Kota Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan angket. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan yaitu modul materi peluang untuk mengurangi kecemasan matematis dan meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pengambilan keputusan kelayakan produk didasarkan pada hasil analisis penilaian dari validator, ahli materi, dan ahli media yang menunjukkan bahwa modul sangat valid dan berpeluang menurunkan kecemasan matematis dan meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa.Students need learning media that can help students reduce mathematics anxiety and increase self-efficacy. The aim of the research is to develop a module to reduce mathematics anxiety and increase students' self-efficacy in opportunity material. This Research and Development research uses the ADDIE model with five development stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data sources and subjects in this research were material experts, media experts, teachers, and 1328 students from 24 junior high schools in Yogyakarta City. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and questionnaires. The results show that the product developed, namely the opportunity material module to reduce mathematical anxiety and increase students' self-efficacy, is suitable for use in mathematics learning. Decision making on product feasibility is based on the results of assessment analysis from validators, material experts and media experts which show that the module is very valid and has the opportunity to reduce mathematical anxiety and increase student self-efficacy.

Abstract

Data yang diperoleh melalui survei pengguna dan studi pelacakan menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara kepuasan pengguna dengan variabel seperti faktor organisasi, mata kuliah yang diambil selama dan setelah masa studi, peran institusi pendidikan tinggi, serta kompetensi alumni tidak dapat diabaikan. Berdasarkan analisis, kompetensi alumni dan kontribusi institusi pendidikan tinggi menunjukkan korelasi positif tertinggi (0,8). Kemampuan bahasa asing, pengetahuan lintas disiplin, penyelesaian masalah kompleks, negosiasi, kemampuan komunikasi, manajemen diri dan orang lain, pembelajaran aktif, serta inovasi dan/atau kreativitas merupakan keterampilan keras dan lunak yang masih perlu ditingkatkan oleh alumni ketika bekerja di sektor perbankan. Menurut pengguna, institusi pendidikan tinggi masih kurang dalam membekali lulusan dengan keterampilan seperti pemecahan masalah, pembuatan materi presentasi, praktik ilmiah, komunikasi, negosiasi, keterampilan interpersonal, sikap, dan kerja sama tim.Data obtained through user surveys and tracer studies indicate that the correlation between user satisfaction and variables such as organizational factors, courses taken during and after university, the role of higher education institutions, and alumni competencies cannot be overlooked. Based on the analysis, alumni competencies and the contribution of higher education institutions show the highest positive correlation (0.8). Foreign language skills, interdisciplinary knowledge, complex problem-solving, negotiation, communication abilities, self and people management, active learning, and innovation and/or creativity are hard and soft skills that alumni still need to enhance when working in the banking sector. According to users, higher education institutions fall short in equipping graduates with skills such as problem-solving, creating presentation materials, scientific practice, communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, attitude, and teamwork.

Abstract

Penelitian studi kasus ini dilakukan dengan cross sectional desain. Partisipan sebanyak 32 siswa kelas V dan seorang guru. Penentuan partisipan siswa dan guru menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh (non-probabilitas). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Tujuan penelitian menyelidiki apakah aktivitas belajar siswa dan guru yang eligible dalam model PBL dapat berdampak positif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis. Analisis data meliputi analisis resiko dan analisis dampak dari PBL. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model problem based learning (PBL) mampu mengaktifkan potensi siswa dan guru melalui penciptaan aktivitas belajar yang tinggi.  Aktivitas belajar siswa dan guru yang eligible dalam model PBL dapat berdampak positif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis. Dengan kata lain, kegiatan pembelajaran dalam PBL mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Dampak positif terhadap siswa ini tidak lepas dari peran guru sebagai fasilitator yang efektif dalam implementasi PBL.This case study research was conducted with a cross-sectional design. The participants were 32 fifth-grade students and a teacher. Determining student and teacher participants used saturated (non-probability) sampling techniques. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and tests. The research objective is to investigate whether the learning activities of eligible students and teachers in the PBL model can have a positive impact on critical thinking skills. Data analysis includes risk analysis and impact analysis of PBL. Research findings show that the problem-based learning (PBL) model can activate the potential of students and teachers through the creation of high-learning activities.  The learning activities of eligible students and teachers in the PBL model can have a positive impact on critical thinking skills. In other words, learning activities in PBL have a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills. This positive impact on students cannot be separated from the teacher's role as an effective facilitator in implementing PBL.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan lembar kerja interaktif berbasis teknologi masih sangat terbatas. Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan lembar kerja interaktif berbantuan Liveworksheets sebagai upaya meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kevalidan lembar kerja interaktif dinilai oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Kepraktisan penggunaan lembar kerja interaktif berdasarkan respon guru dan siswa. Keefektifan implementasi pembelajaran trigonometri menggunakan lembar kerja interaktif ditinjau dari hasil peningkatan pretest dan postest kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE, meliputi Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Lembar kerja Interaktif berbantuan Liveworksheets valid dengan skor 86% ​​dari ahli media dan 80% dari ahli materi. Penggunaan lembar kerja interaktif berkategori sangat praktis dengan skor 94,80% dari angket respon guru dan 84,60% dari angket respon siswa. Pembelajaran menggunakan lembar kerja interaktif berbantuan Liveworksheets efektif meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa. Bantuan scaffolding berbasis teknologi yang diterapkan pada pembelajaran menggunakan liveworksheet menjadi lebih menarik dan memotivasi siswa untuk berpikir literasi numerasi.Research on the development of technology-based interactive worksheets is still minimal. The study aims to develop interactive worksheets assisted by Liveworksheets to improve students' numeracy literacy that meets the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. Media experts and material experts assess the validity of interactive worksheets. The practicality of using interactive worksheets is based on teacher and student responses. The effectiveness of implementing trigonometry learning using interactive worksheets is reviewed from the results of the pretest and posttest increase in students' numeracy literacy skills. The development research uses the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study results showed that the Interactive Worksheet assisted by Liveworksheets was valid, with 86% validity from media experts and 80% from material experts. Interactive worksheets are categorized as very practical, with a score of 94.80% from the teacher response questionnaire and 84.60% from the student response questionnaire. Learning using interactive worksheets assisted by Liveworksheets effectively improves students' numeracy literacy. Technology-based scaffolding assistance applied to learning using liveworksheets makes it more interesting and motivates students to think about numeracy literacy.

Abstract

Abstrak Argumentasi kombinatorik merupakan kemampuan penting dalam pembuktian matematika yang menurut model Toulmin, argumentasi tersebut terdiri dari claim, evidence, warrant, dan backing. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk menganalisis struktur argumentasi kombinatorik mahasiswa menggunakan model Toulmin. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pada penelitian ini melibatkan 93 mahasiswa semester dua tahun ajaran 2022/2023 di Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Sriwijaya. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui tes tertulis. Para mahasiswa diminta untuk memberikan argumentasi kombinatorik pada pembuktian matematika yang berkaitan dengan teorema binomial. Argumentasi kombinatorik tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Toulmin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 96% kemampuan argumentasi kombinatorik mahasiswa berada pada level 2 dengan kategori argumentasi kombinatorik disusun dengan kurang baik, serta sebagian besar mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memberikan claim, evidence, warrant, dan backing dalam argumentasi kombinatorik. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar program pembelajaran difokuskan pada penguatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan argumentatif, melalui metode diskusi terbimbing, problem-based learning, serta pemberian latihan soal yang mendorong eksplorasi dan pembenaran logis atas setiap jawaban yang diberikan mahasiswa Abstract Combinatorial argumentation is an important ability in mathematical proof, and according to Toulmin's model, the argumentation consists of claim, evidence, warrant, and backing. The purpose of the research is to analyze the combinatorial argumentation structure of undergraduate students using the Toulmin model. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This study involved 93 second-semester undergraduate students in the 2022/2023 academic year at the Department of Mathematics Education, Sriwijaya University. Data collection in this study was through written tests. The undergraduate students were instructed to provide combinatorial argumentation on mathematical proofs related to the binomial theorem. The combinatorial argumentation was then analyzed using the Toulmin model. The results showed that 96% of undergraduate students' combinatorial argumentation skills were at level 2 with the category of badly organized combinatorial argumentation, and most undergraduate students had difficulties in providing claim, evidence, warrant, and backing in combinatorial argumentation. Based on these results, it is suggested that the learning program should focus on the improvement of critical and argumentative thinking skills through guided discussions, problem-based learning, and exercises that encourage exploration and logical justification of each answer given by undergraduate students.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengembangan daerah perbatasan tidak hanya ditentukan dari sumber daya alam, tetapi juga kualitas sumber daya manusianya. Kemampuan berpikir logis matematis merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang dibutuhkan dalam berbagai bidang pekerjaan. Oleh karena itu, kemampuan tersebut perlu dimiliki agar tercipta kualitas sumber daya manusia yang dapat bersaing di era global. Tujuan penelitin ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang sejauh mana kemampuan berpikir logis matematis mahasiswa yang berada di perbatasan, agar dapat mengetahui potensi yang dimiliki serta hal-hal yang perlu ditingkatkan khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian Cross-Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar pada Universitas Pattimura. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, artinya sampel dipilih secara selektif berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 25 mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar yang menempuh mata kuliah pendidikan matematika dan berdomisili di wilayah perbatasan sebagai sampel penelitian.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kemampuan berpikir logis matematis. Dalam penelitian ini, data yang terkumpul diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir logis mahasiswa di daerah perbatasan adalah 35, 17. Secara umum, tingkat kemampuan berpikir logis matematis mahasiswa di wilayah perbatasan tergolong rendah. Indicator penarikan kesimpulan logis berada pada kategori sedang. Sedangkan indicator pengidentifikasian informasi yang termuat dalam soal serta menyelesaikan masalah matematis secara rasional berada dalam kategori sangat rendah. Kemampuan berpikir logis mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar yang rendah akan berdampak pada terhambatnya pembangunan daerah yang membutuhkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Selain itu juga berdampak pada pendidikan di sekolah dasar karena siswa akan kesulitan memahami materi jika diajarkan oleh guru yang kurang menguasai konsep yang diajarkan. Dengan demikian, penelitian lanjutan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan serta mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir logis matematis. Abstract The development of border areas is not only determined by natural resources but also by the quality of human resources. The ability to think logically and mathematically is one of the competencies needed in various fields of work. Therefore, this ability needs to be possessed to create quality human resources that can compete in the global era. This study aims to provide a clear picture of the extent of the ability to think logically and mathematically of students in the border area, to know the potential they have and things that need to be improved, especially in mathematics learning. This study is a descriptive quantitative study with a Cross-Sectional research design. The population in this study were all Elementary School Teacher Education students at Pattimura University. The sample selection used a purposive sampling technique because the sampling was carried out with certain considerations. The sample in this study was elementary school teacher education students who offered mathematics education courses totaling 25 people who were in the border area. Data collection was carried out through a mathematical logical thinking ability test. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that the average logical thinking ability of students in the border area was 35.17. Overall, the mathematical logical thinking ability of students in the border area was in a low category. The indicator of logical conclusion drawing is in the moderate category. The indicator of identifying information contained in the problem and solving mathematical problems rationally is in the very low category. The low logical thinking ability of prospective elementary school teachers will have an impact on hampering regional development that requires quality human resources. In addition, it also has an impact on education in elementary schools because students will have difficulty understanding the material if taught by teachers who do not master the concepts being taught. Therefore, further research is needed to improve and develop logical-mathematical thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas e-modul Berbasis Flip PDF sebagai Media Pembelajaran Untuk Melatih Kemampuan Literasi Matematis Siswa Pada Materi Kubus dan Balok dilihat dari validitas sistem operasi, validitas isi, validitas bahasa dan desain. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri atas 3 (tiga) tahapan, yaitu tahap preliminary research (fase investigasi awal), tahap prototyping phase (pembuatan dan pengembangan prototipe) dan tahap assesment phase (fase penilaian). Namun artikel ini hanya membahas sampai tahapan prototyping phase. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, angket dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-modul Interaktif yang dikembangkan memperoleh persentase rata-rata 87,5% untuk validitas sistem operasi termasuk kategori sangat valid, 80% untuk validitas isi termasuk kategori sangat valid, 90% untuk validitas bahasa termasuk kategori sangat valid dan 85,9 % untuk validitas desain termasuk kategori sangat valid untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk melatih kemampuan literasi matematis siswa. Abstract This research aims to determine the validity of the Flip PDF-based e-module as a learning medium for training students' mathematical literacy skills in cube and block material in terms of operating system validity, content validity, language validity and design. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) type of research which refers to the Plomp development model which consists of 3 (three) stages, namely the preliminary research stage (initial investigation phase), the prototyping phase (prototype creation and development) and the assessment phase (assessment phase). However, this article only discusses the prototyping phase. The instruments used were validation sheets, questionnaires and interviews. Based on the validation results, it shows that the Interactive E-module developed obtained an average percentage of 87.5% for operating system validity including the very valid category, 80% for content validity including the very valid category, 90% for language validity including the very valid category and 85 .9% for design validity is in the very valid category for use as a learning medium to train students' mathematical literacy skills.

Abstract

Abstrak Penting   bagi   siswa   untuk   mengembangkan   kemampuan   etnomatematika dalam memecahkan  masalah  kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkatan kemampuan siswa dalam etnomatematika konsep dekomposisi bangun datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixing methods). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar kerja peserta didik saat proses pembelajaran materi dekomposisi bangun datar. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 15 siswa kelas IV B SD Negeri Bakipandeyan 01. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif yaitu mereduksi, memaparkan, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil menunjukan bahwa nilai skor siswa ≥ 80 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 15 orang dan persentase 100 % maka dapat disimpulkan tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam etnomatematika konsep dekomposisi bangun datar pada rumah adat Jawa dan menyebutkan sifat-sifat bangun datar tersebut sangat baik dengan kategori A. Dengan demikian, rumah adat Jawa dapat menjadi alternatif dalam sumber belajar Matematika pada materi Dekomposisi Bangun Datar. Abstract It is important for students to develop ethnomathematical abilities in solving daily life problems. This study aims to determine the level of students' ability in ethnomathematics of the concept of two-dimensional figures decomposition. This research uses mixed methods. The instrument used was student worksheets during the learning process of two-dimensional figures decomposition material. The research subjects consisted of 15 students of class IV B SD Negeri Bakipandeyan 01. The data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, namely reducing, describing, and concluding. The results show that the student score ≥ 80 with a total of 15 students and a percentage of 100%, it can be concluded that the level of students' ability in ethnomathematics the concept of decomposition of two-dimensional figures in Javanese traditional houses and mentioning the properties of these two-dimensional figures is very good with category A. Thus, Javanese traditional houses can be an alternative in learning resources for Mathematics on Two-dimensional figures Decomposition material.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis proses berpikir siswa tunagrahita ringan dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual persegi dan persegi panjang berdasarkan pemecahan masalah IDEAL. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 2 siswa tunagrahita ringan di SLB-C TPA Negeri 1 Branjangan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu peneliti, soal tes, dan pedoman wawancara. Proses berpikir kedua subjek cenderung mengalami proses disequilibrium, asimilasi, akomodasi dan equilibrium pada lima tahap IDEAL. Subjek mengalami disequilibrium ketika subjek tidak dapat memahami maksud dari soal karena belum pernah menjumpai masalah kontekstual sebelumnya, mengalami asimilasi ketika subjek menjawab pertanyaan dari peneliti secara spontan, mengalami akomodasi ketika subjek dapat menjawab pertanyaan dengan benar yang awalnya salah, dan mengalami equilibrium ketika subjek mampu memahami serta menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan dengan benar. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi bagi dunia Pendidikan khususnya sekolah yang memiliki siswa tunagrahita ringan dalam mendesain pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi pemecahan masalah. Abstract The purpose of this research was to analyze the thought process of mildly retarded students in solving square and rectangular contextual problems based on IDEAL problem solving. This type of research was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects were 2 mildly retarded students at SLB-C TPA Negeri 1 Branjangan. The data collection methods used were tests and interviews. The instruments of this research were researchers, test questions, and interview guidelines. The thinking process of the two subjects tends to experience the process of disequilibrium, assimilation, accommodation and equilibrium at the five stages of IDEAL. The subject experienced disequilibrium when the subject could not understand the meaning of the problem because he had never encountered contextual problems before, experienced assimilation when the subject answered questions from the researcher spontaneously, experienced accommodation when the subject could answer questions correctly which were initially wrong, and experienced equilibrium when the subject was able to understand and answer the questions. The results of this study have implications for the world of education, especially schools with mildly retarded students in designing learning that can facilitate problem solving.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul digital interaktif yang menggabungkan konsep Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dalam mata kuliah Matematika Dasar, guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika serta menanamkan nilai-nilai moral dan karakter kepada mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan pada Mahasiswa PGSD semester 2 FKIP UNAMIN pada mata kuliah matematika dasar. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analisa, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui soal pretest-posttest, observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner yang melibatkan mahasiswa dan dosen pengampu mata kuliah Matematika Dasar. Validasi modul dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul digital interaktif yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep-konsep dasar matematika. Penilaian oleh dosen dan mahasiswa menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi, dengan integrasi nilai-nilai Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan yang baik. Modul ini memberikan solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan modern dan tuntutan moral. Pengembangan lebih lanjut dan implementasi secara luas dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan matematika di lingkungan perguruan tinggi Muhammadiyah. Abstract This research aims to develop an interactive digital module that combines the concepts of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah in Basic Mathematics courses, to increase understanding of mathematical concepts and instill moral values ​​and character in students. The research was conducted on 2nd semester PGSD students of FKIP UNAMIN in the basic mathematics course. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. Data collection was carried out through pretest-posttest questions, observations, interviews and questionnaires involving students and lecturers teaching Basic Mathematics courses. Module validation is carried out by material experts, media experts and language experts. The research results show that the interactive digital module developed is effective in increasing students' understanding of basic mathematical concepts. Assessments by lecturers and students show a high level of satisfaction, with good integration of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah values. This module provides innovative solutions in mathematics learning that are relevant to modern educational needs and moral demands. Further development and widespread implementation can improve the quality of mathematics education in Muhammadiyah higher education institutions.
