Abstract

In the era of increasingly fierce global competition, higher education institutions are required to enhance their marketing strategies to attract prospective students. The Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program is one of the popular programs, but students' decisions to choose this program are influenced by various factors in the education service marketing mix. This study aims to analyze the influence of the education service marketing mix on students' decisions to choose the PGSD program. This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 186 students from the 2022 and 2023 cohorts. Data were collected through a survey using Google Forms and analyzed using multiple regression analysis techniques. The education service marketing mix examined consists of seven elements: Process, Price, Promotion, Place, People, Product, and Physical Evidence. The results show that partially, only the process element significantly influences students' decisions to choose the PGSD program. Other elements such as price, promotion, place, people, product, and physical evidence do not show significant individual influence. However, simultaneously, the entire education service marketing mix significantly influences students' decisions to choose the PGSD program, with a contribution of 68%. This indicates that while some elements are not significant individually, the overall combination of the marketing mix elements still has a meaningful impact. These findings suggest that improving the quality of processes in delivering educational services, can increase students' interest in choosing the PGSD program. Therefore, educational institutions are expected to focus on enhancing process aspects to attract more prospective students. Additionally, even though other elements do not show significant partial effects, it is still important to consider the entire marketing mix in educational marketing strategies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out: the Principal's Instructional Leadership in Improving the Quality of Education at State Middle School 1 STTU Julu Pakpak Bharat. 2. Obstacles to the Principal's Instructional Leadership in Improving the Quality of Education at State Middle School 1 STTU Julu Pakpak Bharat. 3. Solutions to overcome obstacles to the principal's instructional leadership in improving the quality of education at STTU Julu Pakpak Bharat State Middle School. The research was conducted from November 2023 to December 2023. This research method was qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, documentation and observation. The subjects of this research were teachers, students and school principals. The data analysis techniques in this research are data presentation, data reduction, and presentation of conclusions. The results and conclusions of this research are: 1) The principal's instructional leadership in improving the quality of education at State Middle School 1 STTU Julu Pakpak Bharat has been well implemented where teachers must carry out work discipline, then the principal demands teachers to prepare administration in learning, targeting students to achieve grades according to the KKM and teachers are required to be able to use learning media in learning and adapt to changes in the curriculum. 2) The obstacle to the Principal's Instructional Leadership in Improving the Quality of Education at SMP Negeri 1 STTU Julu Pakpak Bharat is the teacher's lack of ability to utilize learning facilities due to teacher unpreparedness. The principal as an instructional leader does not always carry out supervision duties for his teachers. If they conduct classroom observations, they do not provide post-observation feedback. Some of the reasons are the high managerial, administrative and teaching workload of school principals. As a result, school principals carry out supervision only to comply with system administration or government regulations. 3) The solution to overcome the obstacles to the Principal's instructional leadership in improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 1 STTU Julu Pakpak Bharat is that the principal must improve collaboration with teachers, teachers increase their work motivation, the principal regularly carries out class visits and conducts evaluation meetings every month.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how to develop talents and interests in the study of the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum at SD Negeri 023899 East Binjai. The research approach is qualitative, which is descriptive in nature and tends to use analysis. The research respondents were school principals, teachers and students of SD Negeri 023899 East Binjai. Questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation data collection tools. The results of the research on the development of these students' interests and talents in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum emphasized the development of talents and interests according to the characteristics of the students. So the research for class V students has been prepared, the school feels there is a shortage because students do not develop their talents. Several activities are carried out so that students can carry out activities according to the interests and talents of students properly. Based on the research results, it is known that there is a strong and significant influence between the implementation of developing students' talents and interests at school by distributing questionnaires and providing teachers according to the interests and talents of students at SD Negeri 023899 East Binjai for the 2021/2022 academic year. From the results of the study there were intervals of 20 students whose talent was to participate in scouting, and 35 students who had artistic talent. This means that the better the implementation of developing students' interests and talents at school, the more effective it will be in increasing the implementation of the independent curriculum at SD Negeri 023899 East Binjai.

Abstract

The aim of this research is: (1). To find out how the principal plans to improve the quality of education in terms of student achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Sigala-gala Babul Makmur Subdistrict Southeast Aceh District. (2). To find out how the principal organizes in improving the quality of education in terms of student achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Sigala-gala Babul Makmur Subdistrict Southeast Aceh District. (3). To find out how the principal’s implementation is in improving the quality of education in terms ofstudent achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Sigala-gala Babul Makmur Subdistrict Southeast Aceh District. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is used by: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data is carried out by observation, triangulation and adequacy of references.  Based on the research results it was found : (1). The planning carried out by the chool principal is to implement 8 educational standards, do not force students to excel if it does not match their abilities. (2). The organization carried out by the school principal is to group high-achieving students by identifying high-achieving students from the beginning of the entry of new students using an approach. (3). The implementation carried out by the school principal involves the participation of student parents to improve student achievement, carryout activities in accordance with the scool budget work plan and in developing students, the participal directly involves teachers who have competencies in accordance with their respective fields at the school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan karir mahasiswa. Melalui metode analisis faktor eksploratori (EFA) menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS terhadap 25 faktor potensial dengan data survei yang diperoleh dari 119 mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bisnis FE Unimed diperoleh hasil 19 faktor yang dikelompokan menjadi enam konstruk utama yang signifikan dalam membentuk minat mahasiswa, yaitu Pengaruh Sosial, Peluang Karir, Self Efficacy, Minat Pribadi, Budaya, dan Keadaan Keuangan. Hasil analisis faktor menunjukkan bahwa enam faktor penelitian mampu menjelaskan lebih dari 67,713% variasi dalam data dari 19 variabel yang diamati. Beban faktor yang kuat antara variabel-variabel dalam setiap konstruk, tingkat reliabilitas yang baik (CR 0,7), dan validitas konvergensi yang solid (AVE 0,51-0,65) menegaskan kecocokan analisis faktor sebagai pendekatan yang tepat. Koefisien KMO yang tinggi (0,710) dan uji Bartlett yang signifikan (Sig. 0,000 0,05) memvalidasi tingkat korelasi yang memadai antara variabel, memperkuat pemilihan analisis faktor sebagai cara untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendasari minat mahasiswa dalam berkarir di pendidikan dan bisnis. Hasil ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang faktor-faktor yang memotivasi mahasiswa untuk memilih karir di bidang pendidikan bisnis. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa lembaga pendidikan dan pembuat kebijakan dapat menggunakan temuan ini untuk merancang strategi pendidikan dan dukungan yang lebih baik bagi mahasiswa yang berminat berkarir di bidang ini.

Abstract

This research aims : 1. to find out  of planning for Islamic-based education at Al-Hidayah High School Medan, 2. to find out the organization of Islamic-based education at Al-Hidayah High School Medan, 3. to know the implemen tation of Islamic-based education at Al-Hidayah High School Medan, 4. to find out the character of graduates with education-based education. Islam at Al-Hidayah High School Medan, 5. Islamic-based educational management is effective in producing the character of graduates at Al-Hidayah High School Medan. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The sub ject is the principal, teacher at Al-Hidayah High School in Medan. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data which are needed to find out how Islamic-based education is implemented at SMA Al-Hidayah Medan. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that Islamic-based education has been successfully implemented optimally according to the direction of the school principal and also the support of the teachers. The dominant factor that influences the character of Al-Hidayah Medan High School graduates is religious activities which are able to shape students' characters into characters with noble morals. AlHidayah Medan High School is now a driving school which is a role model for driving schools in the surrounding environment. Student activity in extra-curricular activities tahfizh, tahsin, muhadharah (speech in three languages) was carried out optimally. The implementation of Islamic-based education will improve the character of Al-Hidayah Medan High School graduates into better individuals, responsible and of noble character. The school which was previously known as ALTEK (Al-Hidayah Teksas) has now changed to ALBAT (Al-Hidayah Hebat).

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of education financing management in improving the quality of education. The type of research approach is a mixed method approach. This research was carried out by the Mandumpang state elementary school UPTD. Using observation, interview, documentation and questionnaire data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques by presenting data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The respondents for this research were school principals, deputy principals, teachers, treasurers and committee members as well as students. The research results show that Educational Financing Planning at UPD SPF Mandumpang State Elementary School includes the Development of Educators and Education Personnel, Calculation of Educator Development Cost Allocations, and Implementation of Educator Development Cost Allocations. Implementation of Education Financing at Mandumpang State Elementary School Uptd Spf by controlling the budget in the school must be controlled by the school principal as school manager. as well as preparing reports on the results of program implementation to related parties. The effectiveness of education financing management at the UPTD SPF SDN Mandumpang State Elementary School with the principle of openness in managing financing at the UPTD SPF SDN Mandumpang State Elementary School, is highly emphasized by the school principal and all those involved. The trend level for school financing management effectiveness is with a mean value of 78.11% and a median of 79.00% so that school financing management in the UPTD SPF SDN Mandumpang State Elementary School has an impact.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of principal management in improving school performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kerajaan, Kerajaan District, Pakpak Bharat Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection tools used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research subjects were teachers and principals of SMP Negeri 4 Kerajaan. The results of the research and conclusions are that: 1) The effectiveness of principal's planning in improving performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kerajaan, Kerajaan District, Pakpak Bharat Regency is good, where the principal has prepared an organizational structure, Operational Curriculum of Education Unit (KOSP), School Work Plan (RKS) guide which is prepared from the characteristics, conditions and potential region, socio-cultural community, school potential and student needs and contains all the activities that must be carried out by teachers; 2) The effectiveness of principal's organizing in improving performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kerajaan has been carried out well, where the principal arranges the duties and responsibilities of teachers through MGMP’activities, where MGMP is divided according to subjects and controlled through the chairman. The activities carried out at MGMPs activities are also supported by facilities and infrastructure, however the facilities and infrastructure do not yet support it optimally. 3) The effectiveness of principal’s actuating in improving performance at school has been good, where teachers have carried out their responsibilities well, teachers have provided teaching modules, designed media, disciplined attendance, implemented innovative learning models and comply with applicable regulations. 4)The effectiveness of principal’s supervision (controlling) in improving performance at school is carried out regularly, where the principal observes the performance of each teacher and always carries out evaluations through education supervision and also in order to resolve existing problems in the school.

Abstract

Kajian ini berupaya mengeksplorasi urgensi tracer alumni dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi dengan fokus pada pemahaman peran dan kontribusi alumni dalam konteks pengembangan kurikulum, keterlibatan industri, pendanaan, serta strategi implementasi tracer alumni. Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tinggi tidak hanya memengaruhi kompetensi lulusan di pasar kerja, tetapi juga kepuasan pengguna lulusan dan hubungan yang berkelanjutan antara perguruan tinggi dan alumni. Melalui analisis literatur sistematis, studi ini mengidentifikasi tren, pola, dan temuan kunci dalam literatur terkait peran alumni dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan pentingnya keterlibatan alumni dalam pengembangan kurikulum, pelibatan industri, dan pendanaan, serta strategi tracer alumni untuk memperoleh dan memanfaatkan informasi yang relevan. Selain itu, abstrak ini membahas berbagai tantangan dan strategi yang terkait dengan implementasi tracer alumni, termasuk pengumpulan dan analisis data, pembangunan hubungan alumni-institusi, dan penggunaan jaringan sosial dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan alumni. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyediakan landasan bagi institusi pendidikan tinggi untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan praktik-praktik yang memperkuat hubungan dengan alumni dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan mereka.

Abstract

Penjaminan mutu merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam pengelolaan perguruan tinggi yang bertujuan untuk memastikan peningkatan kualitas secara berkelanjutan. Hasil evaluasi internal yang dilakukan di Kampus Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) tengah menyatakan bahwa adanya urgensi untuk melakukan pembaharuan dan penyederhaaan standar penjaminan mutu internal yang mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman, ilmu pengetahuan, dan teknologi, relevansi mutu, terbitnya peraturan baru, dan mampu menyesuaikan dengan kriteria penilaian akreditasi perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengembangan Standar Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) di Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) dalam rangka meningkatkan budaya mutu pendidikan tinggi. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi terhadap implementasi SPMI yang berlangsung di ITK. Penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai aspek, seperti kebijakan, prosedur, dokumen mutu, dan keterlibatan pemangku kepentingan dalam proses penjaminan mutu. Hasil penelitian ini adalah rencana rumusan standar baru ITK yang terdiri dari 9 standar utama yang telah merepresentasikan seluruh komponen standar terdahulu, peraturan menteri terbaru, dan kriteria akreditasi. Pengembangan standar SPMI yang terstruktur dan adaptif dapat menjadi instrumen utama dalam membangun budaya mutu dan perbaikan yang berkelanjutan di ITK, sehingga mendukung peningkatan daya saing institusi di tingkat nasional dan internasional.
