Abstract

The importance of the relationship between society and school culture is to create a healthy balance between these two entities. A school culture that is positive and relevant to the surrounding community can help students develop themselves and contribute positively to society. Conversely, positive influences from the community can also shape an inclusive and adaptive school culture. The method used in this paper is a qualitative approach with the type of writing analytic descriptions. The author will explain and analyze the problems encountered in the topic raised. Society can influence school culture in various ways such as providing support for school programs, providing input on school policies, and influencing student behavior outside of school. Society and school culture are two things that are interrelated and influence one another. These changes were mainly due to the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum which emphasized more active and creative learning. Keywords: Society, Change, Culture, School.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the identification of food products made from algae (microalgae or macroalgae) at traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan was carried out on May 26 2023. This research was carried out at traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan. The purpose of this research is as information and also as an extension of our knowledge about food products made from algae in traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan. The analysis uses a qualitative descriptive method, by taking samples, then documenting them by taking pictures, then identifying them. Analysis using a qualitative descriptive method was carried out in a way, every time you find a food product made from algae, a picture will be taken as proof that the product uses algae-based ingredients. The results of this study are that there are several food products that are often consumed which are made from algae found in traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan, namely jelly, nutrijel, pudding, nori and also karagean. Abstract

Songket is the result of hand-woven made of varioustypes of yarn and decorated with various motifs. Songket can found in several regions in Indonesia as a type of folk craft that characterizes each region, besides that songket weaving is also one of the livelihoods of the population. The Batu Bara Malay songket woven cloth serves as a symbol and identity for the Malay community in Batu Bara. In order to collect complete information. This study uses intensive interview techniques at some time in 2023, and also conducts a literature study. This study resulted that the Malay Batu Bara songket industry can be a source of income forlocal residents and has a connection with Islamic culture in its use. Abstract

Islam first entered Indonesia to be precise in the city of Barus which is located in the Coastal region of Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra. This city is 290 KM from the capital, namely Medan, North Sumatra. If taken by land, it might take as long as 7 hours. However, if you are in Sibolga, this city can be reached in just 2 hours. Long before the emergence of the history of the Wali Songo who spread Islamic teachings in Java, to be precise in the 14th century, Islam was already in Barus. In the 7th century AD, Poly historical literature confirms that the Islamic belief in Indonesia was for the first time in Barus. This can be clarified by the existence of an old tomb in the Mahligai cemetery area, Barus. On the tombstone is written the name of Sheikh Rukunuddin who died in 672 AD or 48 H. Abstract

Umrah travel is a container that can make it easier for Muslims to go to the baitullah, in the city of Medan itself Umrah travel already has so many agencies, with various kinds of price offers. In line with the development of the business and business world in Indonesia, the development of the Umrah and Hajj services sector is also very well developed, due to the fact that the waiting lines for performing the Hajj have been for more than 10 years. The analysis of Umrah travel is reviewed against the large number of pilgrims and the enthusiasm of the Muslims to participate. The relationship between Umrah travel and the development of Islamic civilization has the same path. Keeping up with the times, the current travel promotion system relies on information media, so that all the latest news is quickly conveyed to pilgrims or prospective pilgrims. Abstract

Elections play an important role in the democracy. One of the stages of elections is a political campaign. Political campaigns symbolically unite citizens and leaders in a ritual of debate, discussion and dialogue every four years. However, this can only become a popular myth if political campaigns are not carried out in a democratic manner. In Indonesia, limited campaign time forces election participants to plan effective political campaign strategies through the mass media. This research is an analytical descriptive approach that will describe how the objectives of political campaigns can be achieved within the framework of marketing political communication theory, with a review of the 2019 Presidential Election case. Data and information are collected from Kompas.com, an online media during a certain period. In the 2019 election, the campaign period is very limited. Candidate use all available political resources to campaign and win elections. Based on news analysis on Kompas.com during campaign periode, as an incumbent candidate, Joko Widodo used a campaign to market the programs, such as: digital serving programs, the three magic cards program (Indonesia Smart College Card, Cheap Grocery Cards and Pre-Employment Cards) and infrastructure programs. Meanwhile, the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Salahudin Uno candidate also used the campaign to market their programs, they are strengthening government institutions to prevent corruption and programs to improve Indonesia's economy. Candidate Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin sold his dream, namely "Jokowi wins 75%" and “changes for the better”. Meanwhile, the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Salahudin Uno candidate echoes the jargon "Indonesia wins" as his dream. Keywords: Indonesia’s Election; Campaign; Communication; Political Marketing

Abstract

The use of YouTube social media in learning the history of Islamic culture at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah aims to find out how effective the use of YouTube media is in learning carried out for students at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. This research is a type of qualitative research, in this qualitative research data is collected, which means the data sources needed and also the data collection tools can change according to a need. It can also use existing research in journals so that it can analyze it using existing journal findings so that there is data that can be used. The results of the study stated that the use of YouTube social media can create effectiveness in learning Islamic Cultural History and in other subjects because it can be seen how many benefits there are from YouTube social media for learning Islamic Cultural History. However, when students use teacher social media while learning at school or at home, teachers and parents must continue to monitor how students use YouTube in learning, so students don't use it carelessly. Abstract

The head of the madrasa as an educational figurehead is the subject of this study. Understanding the role that the head of the madrasa at MDTA AL WASHLIYAH KLAMBIR LIMA KAMPUNG plays in creating a curriculum that is in line with educational objectives is the primary focus of the discussion. As per the subjective methodology, the presence of specialists in the field is significant as an immediate instrument as an information gatherer from perception talks with and is effectively associated with research utilizing information assortment procedures via perception, meetings, and documentation as an eyewitness for the information that has been acquired from the consequences of meetings on the job the chief as top of the madrasa at MDTA AL WASHLIYAH KLAMBIR LIMA KAMPUNG. Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between students' engagement in school and their mental well-being. Data were collected from 183 high school students through the convenience sampling method. Spearman's correlation analysis and One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test we’re used to analyze the data. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between students' engagement in school and their mental well-being. These findings suggest that students who feel more involved in school have higher levels of mental well-being. This research provides a clear understanding of the importance of student engagement and their well-being in achieving higher academic and non-academic achievements. The practical implication of this research is the importance of increasing student involvement in schools to create a conducive learning environment and improve overall student welfare. Future research can explore the relationship between student involvement in school and other factors such as student self-esteem and self-efficacy

Abstract

This study aims to explain the Implementation of the Integration and Interconnection Approach of Interdisciplinary Science in Islamic Education Management Studies. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through library research which involves collecting information and data from various sources found in libraries such as reference books, research relevant previous studies, articles, related notes and including journals related to the topic to be completed.
