Abstract

Abstract. The development of digital technology has opened up opportunities for innovation in learning, including in teaching mathematics at the junior high school level. However, many teachers still face limitations using interactive digital media. This training activity aims for helping Junior High School Mathematics teachers MGMP in Lhokseumawe City to improve their skills to edit and develop digital learning videos using the CapCut application. The implementation method consists of a needs survey, technical training in two meetings, mentoring, and evaluation of training results. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding and skills in utilizing CapCut, so that they can produce more interesting, and interactive learning media. Evaluation of the training indicated high satisfaction from participants, with most teachers feeling helped in improving their creativity and learning effectiveness. Recommendations from participants include the need for further training with a scope of other digital applications. In conclusion, this CapCut training has proven to be effective in improving teacher competence in the use of digital technology for learning. This training is expected to improve teacher competence in the field of educational technology and support more effective and innovative digital-based learning. Abstrak. Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membuka peluang bagi inovasi dalam pembelajaran, termasuk dalam pengajaran matematika di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Namun, banyak guru masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam pemanfaatan media digital interaktif. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali guru MGMP Matematika Tingkat SMP Kota Lhokseumawe dengan keterampilan mengedit dan mengembangkan video pembelajaran digital menggunakan aplikasi CapCut. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari survei kebutuhan, pelatihan teknis dalam dua pertemuan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan CapCut, sehingga mereka dapat menciptakan media pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, dan interaktif. Evaluasi terhadap pelatihan mengindikasikan kepuasan tinggi dari peserta, dengan sebagian besar guru merasa terbantu dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan efektivitas pembelajaran mereka. Rekomendasi dari peserta mencakup perlunya pelatihan lanjutan dengan cakupan aplikasi digital lainnya. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan CapCut ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru di bidang teknologi pendidikan serta mendukung pembelajaran berbasis digital yang lebih efektif dan inovatif.

Abstract

Desa Bonde, located in Pamboang District with an area of 3.47 km², is a coastal village with abundant marine resources, particularly the Ambu fish (Istiophoriformes sp). This fish is endemic to Pamboang waters, known for its high protein and nutritional value, yet it remains underutilized by the local community. The main issues faced by the community are the lack of knowledge and skills in processing fishery products, especially Ambu fish, as well as limited awareness and understanding of prudent financial management. The Community Partnership Stimulus Program (PKMS) offers solutions through Training on processing Ambu fish into economically valuable products such as fish-based empek-empek and nuggets, and Education and training on the concept of Frugal Living Financial for better financial management. The program is carried out in three main stages: preparation, product processing training, and financial management education. The expected outcomes of this program include publication in a nationally accredited Sinta journal, coverage in electronic mass media, and a documentary video of the activities. Abstract

Abstract. The training on processing culled laying hen meat into jerky aims to make students are more know the various of processing of culled laying hen meat. The implementation of this training is at SMKN 1 Mojosongo Boyolali targeting grade XI Ruminant Livestock Agribusiness 1 vocational high school students as many as 36 students. Based on the evaluation results, this training program changes the mindset of students about the diversification of livestock products not only limited to processing milk to make yogurt, processing eggs to make salted eggs, and processing meat to make nuggets. Another impact obtained from this training is that vocational high school students can have special skills that can be used as provisions when they graduate from school to open a business or create job opportunities through food diversification by processing culled laying hen meat. Abstrak. Adanya pelatihan pengolahan daging ayam petelur afkir menjadi dendeng ini bertujuan agar sekolah dan peserta didik lebih mengetahui ragam pengolahan daging ayam petelur afkir. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Mojosongo Boyolali dengan sasaran peserta didik SMK kelas XI Agribisnis Ternak Ruminansia sebanyak 36 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, adanya program pelatihan ini mengubah pola pikir peserta didik tentang diversifikasi produk peternakan tidak hanya terbatas pada pengolahan susu untuk dijadikan yogurt, pengolahan telur untuk dijadikan telur asin, dan pengolahan daging untuk dijadikan nugget. Dampak lain yang didapat dari adanya pelatihan ini adalah peserta didik SMK dapat memiliki keterampilan khusus yang dapat dijadikan bekal ketika lulus sekolah untuk membuka usaha ataupun menciptakan peluang kerja melalui diversifikasi pangan dengan pengolahan daging ayam petelur afkir.

Abstract

Kabupaten Sinjai merupakan salah satu daerah yang ada di provinsi Sulawesi Selatan yang memanfaatkan madu untuk mencukupi kebutuhan ekonomi masyarakatnya. Untuk mengakomodir hasil panen madu lebah trigona maka dibentuk kelompok tani secara swadaya yang diberi nama Kelompok Tani Ikhtiar di Lingkungan Bonto Mangape Kelurahan Mannanti. Berdasarkan kondisi di lapangan, usaha madu trigona di Kelurahan Mannanti menggunakan strategi pengembangan yang dapat dikatakan cukup sederhana. Dengan adanya program pengabdian masyarakat berupa sosialisasi dan penyuluhan Inovasi Pengemasan Produk Madu Trigona untuk Peningkatan Strategi Pemasaran diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produksi madu trigona dan kemurnian madu sehingga meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat setempat. Proses pemasaran madu dilakukan dengan didistribusi ke toko- toko pertanian dan peternakan dan pemasaran secara ecommerce pada marketplace seperti pemasaran melalui Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada dan marketplace lainnya. Pemasaran madu dilakukan secara luas melalui media sosial, media cetak dan media elektronik agar madu yang dihasilkan mitra dapat dikenal seluruh Indonesia. Pelaksanaan iklan ini dilakukan oleh mahasiswa pendamping agar banyak menyebarkan produk madu sehingga mudah dikenali oleh masyarakat.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan kemandirian ekonomi usaha mikro pangkas rambut melalui pengembangan kewirausahaan pada usaha Gardu Cukur di Kota Pare. Dengan pesatnya perkembangan industri jasa, pelaku usaha pangkas rambut perlu meningkatkan keterampilan manajerial dan strategi pemasaran agar tetap kompetitif. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini mencakup pelatihan keterampilan kewirausahaan, strategi pemasaran digital, pengelolaan keuangan usaha, serta peningkatan kualitas layanan. Pendekatan partisipatif diterapkan dengan melibatkan pelaku usaha secara aktif dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan, termasuk diskusi kelompok dan praktik langsung. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif-kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi dampak program terhadap peningkatan keterampilan dan daya saing usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap manajemen bisnis, penggunaan media digital untuk promosi, serta efisiensi dalam pengelolaan keuangan. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan jumlah pelanggan pada beberapa usaha yang telah menerapkan strategi yang diberikan. Kesimpulan dari program ini adalah bahwa pengembangan kewirausahaan secara sistematis dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan kemandirian ekonomi pelaku usaha mikro pangkas rambut. Abstract

Abstract. This community service project proposes to improve the knowledge and skills of students at SMK N 2 Sukoharjo in processing chicken meat products based on local potential and producing functional food products with high economic value. Moringa leaves are one of the local potentials in the surrounding environment of SMK N 2 Sukoharjo that have not been optimally utilized as a nutritious supplementary food ingredient. The innovation of moringa leaf chicken jerky was introduced as a processed chicken product with both nutritional value and market potential. The conduct was conducted through a training method using direct practice to produce moringa chicken jerky. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the students’ knowledge and skills, with pre-test scores averaging 80.65% and post-test scores reaching 94.84%, indicating a 14.19% improvement in students’ knowledge levels. This demonstrates that participants successfully understood and applied appropriate technology in production. This activity concludes that the use of educational and participatory methods has proven effective in improving students’ practical skills, enabling them to produce tangible products with higher nutritional value and greater market appeal. Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta didik SMK N 2 Sukoharjo dalam mengolah produk olahan daging ayam berbasis potensi lokal dan menghasilkan produk pangan fungsional yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Kelor menjadi salah satu potensi lokal di lingkungan sekitar SMK N 2 Sukoharjo yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal sebagai tambahan bahan pangan bergizi. Dendeng daun kelor menjadi inovasi produk olahan ayam yang memiliki nilai gizi dan daya jual. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui metode pelatihan dengan pendekatan praktik langsung dalam pembuatan dendeng ayam kelor. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari nilai pre-test ke post-test, dari 80,65% pada pre-test hingga 94,84% saat post-test dan tingkat pengetahuan mitra mengalami peningkatan sebesar 14,19% yang menandakan bahwa peserta telah memahami dan mampu mengaplikasikan teknologi tepat guna dalam pembuatan produk tersebut. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini yaitu penggunaan metode edukatif dan partisipatif terbukti efektif meningkatkan keterampilan praktis peserta didik sehingga mereka dapat menghasilkan produk nyata yang bernilai gizi lebih tinggi dan memiliki daya jual yang menarik.

Abstract

The ability to conduct item analysis is one of the essential competencies that prospective teachers must have in the context of learning evaluation. However, in reality, many prospective teachers do not have adequate understanding and skills in analyzing the quality of questions quantitatively, especially in measuring the level of difficulty and the index of distinguishing power. This community service activity aims to improve the competence of prospective student teachers through practice-based item analysis training. The method used in this activity is structured training which includes providing conceptual material, practicing manual and digital calculations using Microsoft Excel, discussions, and pretest and posttest evaluations. The results of the training showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the concept of item analysis and their ability to apply it technically. In addition, participants showed high enthusiasm and stated that the training was very relevant to their needs as future educators. This activity makes an important contribution in preparing students to face professional challenges as teachers who are able to design and evaluate assessments objectively and with quality.

Abstract

Biochar application has been evaluated for various types of soil including sand, sandy loam, and clay loam such as soil conditions in Gorontalo Province. This community service aims to provide information related to the benefits of corn cob waste and increase the knowledge and insight of the Ulapato B Village community regarding the manufacture of biochar as a soil conditioner. This community service consists of several activities, namely counseling, direct practice related to the manufacture of biochar, assistance to the community, and monitoring and evaluation. Based on the results of the counseling that has been carried out, it has been able to increase the knowledge and insight of the Ulapato B community regarding the manufacture of biochar using corn cob waste as a raw material. In addition, this activity also increases the community's understanding of the benefits of corn cob waste which they initially only considered as goods that had no ecological information value. Judging from the evaluation stage that was carried out, the responses of the community service participants were positive for each material presented. The material for the stages of making biochar from corn cobs produced the highest percentage, reaching 87.5% and the lowest for the material on Data interpretation related to land area, corn production and the amount of cob waste per year of corn production specifically for data in Gorontalo Province and Indonesia in general, with a percentage of only 15%. This means that community service participants are more interested in direct demonstrations compared to data-based materials.

Abstract

Pengolahan limbah organik yang berada pada sekitar lahan pertanian dapat menjadi jembatan antara dampak negatif dari limbah pertanian dengan kebutuhan unsur hara pada usaha tani. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik berbasis sumber daya alam lokal ini terselenggara pada tanggal 4 – 5 November 2025, di Dusun Paluppung, Desa Galung Lombok, Kecamatan Tinambung, Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra sasaran dalam membuat pupuk kompos melalui pemanfaatan sumber daya alam sekitar. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan tahapan (1) Identifikasi Sumber Daya Lokal; (2) Sosialisasi dan Edukasi; (3) Pelatihan Teknis Pembuatan Kompos; (4) Praktik Mandiri dan Pendampingan; dan (5) Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan pupuk organik secara signifikan.

Abstract

Sawdust waste is a by-product of various wood industry activities in Gorontalo. The problem of sawdust waste often causes rotting which produces methane gas and is one of the greenhouse gases that causes global warming. Tunggulo Village has the potential as a food barn, horticulture, and secondary crops, and has rice production that is recognized as having good quality. This activity aims to socialize the importance of processing sawdust waste into organic fertilizer and its benefits for the environment and applying it to vegetable plants. The implementation method with several stages, namely socialization activities, implementation of technical training and assistance, application of sawdust fertilizer utilization on plants, monitoring and evaluation. The results of this community service began with an initial survey which showed that several respondents still viewed sawdust as useless waste. This reflects that public perception of the potential for productive use of sawdust is still low. Training and technical guidance in Tunggulo Village may not have any local examples or practices regarding the use of sawdust as organic fertilizer. Training activities begin with an introduction to the process of processing sawdust into organic fertilizer, which is then directed to utilize agricultural waste as an effort to maintain and improve the quality of agricultural land
