This study aims to analyze factors related to the incidence of stunting in children aged 24-59 months in Rancatungku Village, Bandung Regency. The research design was based on a case control approach of 1:1 ratio between the case group and the control group with a total of 206 respondents. The sampling technique in this study is accidental sampling. Data were processed and analyzed univariate, bivariate and multivariate with Chi-Square assays. This study found a meaningful relationship between body length p-value 0.019, education p-value 0.037, history of exclusive breastfeeding p-value 0.002, protein intake p-value 0.007 and history of infectious disease p-value 0.029 with stunting incidence. And the dominant variable related to stunting incidence is the history of exclusive breastfeeding. This study suggests that health workers provide education and counselling on the importance of exclusive breastfeeding and training Integrated Health Service Post cadres so that they are more skilled and can disseminate information about stunting.

Abstract

This policy paper explores the development and implementation of a health profile system powered by digital applications. In many regions, the manual process of compiling health profiles hampers timely decision-making and reduces data accuracy. A transition to a digital, application-based approach is crucial for enhancing data quality, accessibility, and integration across health sectors. This paper identifies current challenges, presents policy alternatives, and recommends the establishment of a centralized, modular, and cloud-based platform. The initiative aims to strengthen evidence-based policymaking and accelerate the digital transformation of Indonesia's healthcare system.

Abstract

Introduction: Work stress is a common issue in the workplace and can be triggered by various factors such as irregular work shifts, employee age, and excessive workloads. Irregular shift changes may disrupt employees' rest periods, while age can influence stress levels, with older employees generally more prone to experiencing work-related stress. Long working hours and high workload demands also contribute significantly to the development of work stress. Objective: This study aims to examine the relationship between work shifts, age, and workload with work stress among employees at PT. X in Batam City. Method: A quantitative research method with a cross-sectional approach was employed. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets. The chi-square test was used for statistical analysis. Results and Discussion: The findings revealed significant relationships between work shifts and work stress (P = 0.002), workload and work stress (P = 0.040), and age and work stress (P = 0.023). These results indicate that the examined variables contribute to the levels of stress experienced by employees. Conclusion: It is recommended that PT. X improve employee welfare by regulating rest periods, minimizing sudden shift changes, and reducing excessive workloads to create a safer, more comfortable, and productive work environment.

Abstract

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is an infection that attacks the body’s immune system, specifically the white blood cells called CD4 cells. HIV destroys these CD4 cells, weakening a person’s immunity against opportunistic infections, such as tuberculosis and fungal infections, severe bacterial infections, and some cancers. The purpose of this systematic review is to evaluate the current social determinant factors of HIV/AIDS prevention in marginalized communities. The study employs the PRISMA Method to systematically review HIV/AIDS prevention articles from databases PUBMED, BMC, and Google Scholar. The review includes search, screening, data extraction, and analysis, with 40 papers acquired and a selection procedure to meet inclusion and exclusion criteria. This study finds a need for a comprehensive approach to combat the HIV epidemic, including addressing socioeconomic determinants like poverty, stigma, and healthcare access. Collaboration between policymakers, healthcare providers, and community members is crucial for developing effective prevention and treatment strategies.
