Abstract

Evaluation of educational programs is an effort to find out the goals of education, it can also be interpreted as an effort to provide information that will later be conveyed to decision makers. This study is intended to review how evaluation of educational programs can play a role in optimizing the quality of learning. By using a qualitative ethnographic research approach in which we conducted direct observations and interviews with one of the teaching staff at the target school, this study found: First, evaluation activities were carried out regularly on a weekly basis. Second, the method used in evaluating madrasas is through standards of infrastructure, curriculum and financing. Third, the educational program implemented is a question and answer pattern regarding children's talents and interests. This makes it easier for educational staff to find out which programs are suitable to be implemented. Thus, evaluation of educational programs plays a very important role in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

Managerial competence is closely related to effective and visionary leadership management because in fact management is essentially a matter of interaction between humans both vertically and horizontally, and is a very determining factor in the progress of an educational institution. Leadership can be said to be the behavior of motivating other people to work towards achieving certain goals through a long process that occurs slowly through observation and learning. This research aims to explain that the role of an effective and visionary leader must be balanced with commensurate managerial competence. This research uses a theoretical approach. The research results show that a leader in the world of education must have the ability to mobilize teachers, staff and employees, optimize school resources, have the capacity to guide students, and be able to set a good teaching example and then have a democratic style and be willing to accept suggestions and criticism from subordinates. and always communicate every policy and problem together.

Abstract

Counselors as teacher's guidance and counseling should provide reinforcement of the noble values ??of Pancasila in the Qur'an in teaching and learning activities so that students are able to control themselves as good and obedient students in the life of the nation and state. Pancasila sublime value is embedded as the foundation of the Indonesian people who are the spirit of the nation. Administratively, in the 1945 Constitution, Pancasila contains the values ??of national character education which play an important role as a spiritual dimension, a cultural dimension and an institutional dimension. For this reason, the noble values ??of the Pancasila should be practiced in life and lived rather not only as symbols. Often the slogan of the Pancasila noble values ??is a guideline for the life of the nation and state and a reflection of religion because Pancasila itself is contained in the Qur'an itself. Indeed, the precepts in Pancasila, accept things, which are also new to Muslims. Affirmation to the essence of God, humanity, unity, deliberation and justice is a terminology that is widely used in the Qur'an to be the goal of Islamic prescribed. The problem among the natives with the packaging of Pancasila is indigenous (non-Arabic) so that the taboo and blind people judge it as a value that comes from religion. In this case, this article will be discussed in depth and analytically so as to be able to open up the discourse of thinking about the noble values ??of the Pancasila itself contained in the Qur'an.

Abstract

Masalah yang terjadi dalam penelitian adalah kurangnya pemahaman guru PAI terhadap modul ajar, belum adanya pelatihan dalam membuat modul ajar, dan tidak adanya modul ajar yang dibuat oleh guru PAI di SMKS I Bina Taruna. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan datanya dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Modul Ajar yang ada di SMKS Bina Taruna 1 Medan mengacu kepada Surat Keputusan BSKAP Nomor 033/H/KR/2022 Tentang revisi Capaian Pembelajaran dan Keputusan Kepala BSKAP Nomor 009/H/KR/2022 tentang Dimensi dan Elemen Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Guru PAI ini memiliki pengalaman yang luas dalam menggunakan modul dan memiliki pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang cara menggunakannya secara efektif. Dan Bagi guru yang baru mengenal modul, pemahaman mereka mungkin lebih dangkal dan memerlukan waktu untuk belajar cara mengintegrasikannya ke dalam pembelajaran sehari-hari. Ada beberapa kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam menyusun dan menjalankan modul ajar yaitu keterbatasan sumber daya, kesesuaian dengan kebutuhan siswa, kesulitan teknis, dan kesulitan dalam penerapan prinsip pembelajaran aktif.

Abstract

The effectiveness of educational programs in schools is significantly affected by the condition of educational facilities also infrastructure. Dealing with infrastructure needs involves outlining also examining the processes related to planning, organizing, mobilizing, monitoring, supporting, as well as identifying factors that hinder infrastructure management to improve educational quality at SMP Nurul Yaqin. Qualitative research methods were employed for data gathering, which included observation, interviews, documentation, also triangulation. Data analysis consisted of collecting, reducing, presenting, also deriving conclusions. The findings of the study highlighted planning strategies such as annual meetings, program evaluation, work program reviews, program activity implementation, also parental program socialization. Elements of organization included considerations of organizational structure, staffing, job descriptions, responsibilities, communication, also coordination. Mobilization efforts covered procurement, inventory management, maintenance, selection, also reporting. Supervision entailed evaluation, oversight, also follow-up actions. Factors that supported the endeavor included effective design, staff placement, organized record-keeping, also the involvement of school supervisors. Conversely, inhibiting factors comprised the level of commitment of human resources, financial limitations, complex regulations, also inadequate opportunities for employee skill development.

Abstract

Kepemimpian seseorang di suatu sekolah merupakan pondasi dasar untuk mengharmoniskan sumber daya yang dimiliki baik bersumber dalam sekolah maupun di luar sekolah, kepala sekolah dituntu memiliki keterampilan kepemimpinan. Kemajemukan sumber daya dan karakter yang bersumber dari dalam sekolah dan luar sekolah merupakan keunikan tersendiri sehingga kepala sekolah dituntut untuk mampu mengenali dan menyahuti kebutuhan pemerintah, yayasan, staf pendidik, peserta didik, wali murid dan lingkungan. Kepala sekolah memiliki peran sebagai pemimpin organisasi, menentukan arah tujuan organisasi sehingga pemimpin dituntut melakukan penerapan manajemen dan menguasai ilmu lainnya. Pembekalan kemajemukan disiplin ilmu dan mengikuti pelatihan kepemimpinan melahirkan keterampilan kepemimpinan (Ability Leadearship). Dengan keterampilan kepemimpinan tersebut menimbulkan ketajaman menganalisa persoalan, kecakapan berfikir dan dapat mengambil solusi atau keputasan.

Abstract

Improving student academic achievement is one of the main priorities in the world of education. SMP Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak has implemented various educational programs in an effort to achieve this goal, such as tutoring programs, improving learning facilities, and teacher training. This research aims to activate the effectiveness of educational programs that have been implemented at SMP Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak in improving students' academic achievement. The evaluation was carried out using mixed methods, namely a combination of a quantitative approach through analysis of student academic achievement data and a qualitative approach through interviews with related parties. The evaluation results show that the tutoring program has had a positive impact on improving student academic achievement, however the program to improve learning facilities and teacher training has not been fully effective. Based on these findings, this research provides recommendations for optimizing the implementation of educational programs by integrating digital technology, increasing parental involvement, and conducting regular teacher training. With continuous evaluation and improvement, it is hoped that student academic achievement at SMP Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak can continue to improve significantly.

Abstract

Hadith is a course that is studied in almost all study programs at State Islamic Universities. In addition, hadith is also the basis for legal issues discussed in courses related to law such as Fiqh, fiqh muamalah, siyasah, jinayah, mawaris and others. However, researcher saw that during the process of learning hadith in the tsudy program other than the Science of the Qur'an and Tafsir, it was found that many students were still not able to recite the hadith which was used as a postulate for a law when used in a discussion, even most of them did not know the term takhrij hadith. This paper aims to explain how important it is to learn and understand the science of takhrij hadith for all students at Islamic Universities because they will interact with hadiths related to the law that need to be ascertained the status of the hadith. The method used in this study is a qualitative method starting with observations and interviews with students in the Qur'an and Tafsir Study Program, Islamic Economic Law Study Program, Sharia Banking Study Program, Constitutional Law, Islamic Criminal Law and also the Islamic Religious Education Study Program STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh. The results of the study show that the majority of students still do not know the science of takhrij hadith and do not understand how to check the authenticity of a hadiths or not unless it is stated in the reference they use. The researcher sees the importance of students knowing the science of takhrij hadith, at least knowing how to make a practical and easy takhrij, namely with a contemporary method (digital), either using software such as maktabah shamilah or directly online to trusted websites such as www.dorar.net or www.islamweb.net. At least students have the knowledge to extract hadith from its original source (ma??dir al-a?liyah) so that the status of a hadith used as a postulate for a law in their learning is known. In addition, they can take advantage of this knowledge of takhrij to check the validity of a hadith that is now widely spread among the public or on social media quickly and easily.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui bagaimana dukungan masyarakat dan program KKN Mahasiswa STAI-JM di Sanggar Belajar (SB) Kamus Gombak Utara Malaysia, (2) Mengetahui bagaimana efektifitas Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Mahasiswa STAI-JM Langkat di Sanggar Belajar (SB) Kamus Gombak Utara Malaysia. (3) Mengetahui bagaimana hasil Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Mahasiswa STAI-JM Langkat di Sanggar Belajar (SB) Kamus Gombak Utara Malaysia. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis data Milles & Huberman meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Aspek konteks adanya dukungan, terlaksananya program KKN jangka panjang, menengah dan pendek, (2) Aspek input adanya struktur organisasi KKN, memahmi buku pedoman KKN, kesesuaian pembekalan KKN dan terlaksananya kegiatan KKN dengan efektif dan efesien, (3) Aspek proses adanya perencanaan, evaluasi dan pengawasan dari pihak kampus dan mitra di Sanggar Belajar Kamus Gombak Utara Malaysia, (4) Aspek produk: a) Bidang Keagamaan, melaksanakan praktik sholat dan tahsin Al-Qur’an; b) Bidang Pendidikan mengajar dan melakukan les untuk mata pelajaran umum dan keagamaan; c) Bidang Kesenian, membuat kerajinan tangan menggunakan bahan benang dan pernak pernik sebagai bahan pembuatan gelang dan cincin.

Abstract

Learning at the primary school level is an important stage for instilling strong basic concepts for students, especially in the introduction of letters and numbers. The use of appropriate learning media can improve student understanding. Adobe Flash Professional CS6 is one of the applications that can be used as interactive learning media for letter and number recognition. This study aims to analyze the use of Adobe Flash Professional CS6 in the introduction of letters and numbers in elementary schools. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological study design, involving interviews, observation, and documentation. The research was conducted at a public elementary school in Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra, with informants being the principal, school operator, and several classroom teachers. The results show that Flash-based learning media can visualize abstract concepts to be more concrete and interesting through animation and interactive features, thus helping students understand the material better and increasing their learning motivation. However, the use of digital-based learning media requires parental assistance to supervise children's use of technology. Training and capacity building of teachers in using information technology is also very important.
