Abstract

The number of malnutrition toddlers still exceeds the minimum number set on a national scale in Indonesia. Malnutrition occurs because of the lack of diversity in food consumption and fulfillment of energy and macronutrients in the consumption. The purpose of this research was to determine the diversity of food consumption and the level of fulfillment of energy consumption in malnutrition toddlers. The method in this research is the descriptive-analytical method with a quantitative research approach. The sampling technique uses total sampling, which includes all members of the population as samples. Diversity of consumption and level of energy fulfillment were obtained by interview using food frequency questionnaire and food recall 2x24 hours. The results of the research based on the diversity of consumption showed that the types of food commonly consumed by toddlers were rice (staple food); eggs, chicken, and fish (animal side dishes); tofu and tempeh (vegetable side dishes); spinach and carrots (vegetables); and papaya and banana (fruits). Based on the results of research on the level of energy fulfillment, as many as 39 toddlers have a deficit in energy consumption, 13 toddlers have a protein consumption deficit, 32 toddlers have a fat deficit, and 25 toddlers have a carbohydrate deficit. Recommendations in this research are addressed to the hospital to conduct outreach activities regarding knowledge of the diversity of food consumption and nutrients in foodstuffs.

Abstract

Indonesia has almost 2 years in implementing distance learning to prevent an increase in the transmission of the Corona Virus. With the creation of the Thematic community service program, it is hoped that it can increase student interest in learning and help educators and parents of students to facilitate the implementation of online learning activities. This research was conducted in an elementary school in West Java. At the initial stage, the research was conducted to survey the number of students in grade 6 of the Elementary School. The number of students recorded was 60 students in grade 6. Then we distributed the 60 students with 47.60% (21 male students) and 52.40% (39 female students). Learning and teaching activities at Karanganyar State Elementary School 2 are carried out online. The learning media used are Zoom Meet, WhatsApp group, and Google Form for students. This method is a solution in implementing distance learning with interactive learning media. The results of the research show that the average post-test score of 84.0% is greater than the average pre-test score of 49.03%, so the difference is 1.95%. Therefore, we can increase interest, knowledge, and application in material related to financial literacy. This increase in understanding can be done by continuously teaching and giving examples of financial literacy to students through fun media, such as animated videos containing financial literacy.

Abstract

Learning activities are very impactful in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era so students are directed to study at home. Assistance from educators is very important to develop good literacy. With the Thematic Community Service Program, the purpose it is hoped that there will be an increase in student interest in learning and make it easier for educators and parents to carry out online learning activities. Including the introduction of Pantun in improving Language Skills in the Ciparay Hilir Region which is carried out online. The method in this study uses quantitative research. The results of this study are still many students who do not know the type of poem (known as pantun). Students' understanding of Pantun material, Types, and Language Skills by delivering material via PowerPoint or YouTube which is done online, and using the google meet application with educators. The results of the research show that the average post-test score of students is 70% greater than the average pre-test score of 37%, so the difference is 43%. Therefore, during the Covid-19 pandemic, there were still many efforts to increase literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to create Augmented Reality about basic physics practicum tutorials on the Sound Wave Resonance module in the Department of Computer Systems at the Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) based on Android. The advantages of this technology can be used as a medium of online learning if there is an emergency that results in not implementing conventional learning so that learning activities remain effective. This application program is intended to facilitate the Lecturer / Laboratory Assistant in presenting the material as well as attracting student learning interest in practicum learning. The method used in this study was a qualitative method by describing the condition of the Basic Physics Laboratory in the computer engineering department, and the system development method used is the paradigm method, Waterfall. Data was collected through interviews with the Chair of the Basic Physics Laboratory. This study results obtained an information system that allows the practitioner to compare the calculations' results mathematically with the application, and practicum can understand the material easily and fun.

Abstract

The use of disposable primary batteries causes environmental pollution due to the lack of battery waste treatment facilities, so it is necessary to handle the problem by making bio-batteries from orange peel and tamarind. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of good electricity on variations of the combination of orange peel and tamarind. The novelty of this study is (1) the use of biomass combination of orange peel and tamarind as bio-battery electrolytes and (2) comparison of orange peel to tamarind. The method used in this study is by experimenting with a mixture of sweet orange peel and tamarind made into pasta and put in a used battery. The results showed that bio-batteries with a variation of 25% orange to tamarind had the highest voltage and the most powerful electric current. This happens because the ion content in the variation is not concentrated so it is easy to move widely. In conclusion, bio-batteries with a mixture of orange peel and acid are the best variation of 25% orange peel against tamarind. The study is expected to reduce the use of chemicals in batteries and reduce disposable battery waste.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of COVID-19 on the reading interest of elementary school students. By using data collection through a google form. COVID-19 turns out not to create students ' interest in reading to decrease. After a given material was directly distributed, it raises students ' interest in reading. By providing the material in individuals then the presentation of the rose to 44.4%. The presentation rise students’ interest in reading. This happens because there is little research regarding the reading interest of 4th-grade elementary school students. The rising reading interest will bring up students’ interest. COVID-19 does not become a barrier to the students to keep reading.

Abstract

Pancasila is a formulation and guideline in the life of the nation and state for the people of all Indonesia. In applying the values in Pancasila, this can be done in various ways such as using a media application called WhatsApp. Material on Pancasila will be given in the group so that students can easily gain knowledge about the values contained in Pancasila.  "Reading is fundamental for a person to gain another ability. However, there are still areas in Indonesia that still do not read. The aim of the core research is to provide innovation in literacy learning in grade 4 primary school. The study was conducted during a pandemic with an online learning system. . Students are given learning with sticky notes, where sticky notes are used as a medium. Sticky notes contain questions that must be matched with other sticky notes based on the same color. From the description above, we use this approach to test literature and theories so that they can fit the circumstances of the location we are researching. This is the basis for us to use a quantitative approach. The quantitative approach in this study was to determine the extent of the implementation of learning with Sticky Notes was to increase grade 4 students' reading interest in textbooks during the covid-19 pandemic. This approach emphasizes finding data to be processed systematically and using mathematical calculations. From the results of the study get an increase owned by students.

Abstract

This study aims to provide alternative solutions in procuring media sources for teaching materials for students who are constrained by the internet network, especially in the implementation of distance learning during the Corona. Utilization of learning resources with the Electronic network. The method in this study is presented in a descriptive form. The method is in the form of analyzing the problem in the community and identifying potential, including program design, socialization, field observation methods carried out to determine the location of local network installations, program training, and assistance in the implementation of offline digital library systems. The results of alternative solutions resulting from this mentoring process include learning media sources that can be accessed without internet quotas, making them more effective and efficient. Students’ interest in learning is increasing because they utilize the Electronic Community Library. Teachers use more varied sources of teaching materials. The use of the Electronic Community Library can provide a significant influence on the teaching and learning process. The advantages of the Electronic Community are that it is easy to access, has a variety of features, has an attractive appearance, and the maintenance of the device is quite efficient. The Electronic Community Library is a real solution in the world of education, especially for areas that have limitations in accessing the internet network. The Electronic Community Library is not only beneficial for students, but also for teachers, parents, and the community, especially in the development of digital literacy.
