The sampling technique used is total sampling. In the independent variable research, it is the provision of counseling on stunting, while the dependent variable is the knowledge of the people of Lambroe Bileu Aceh Besar Village. Based on the results of the study, where after counseling, mothers' knowledge about stunting increased from before being given counseling. Where the percentage before counseling is 37.5% to 87.5% after counseling. If there is an increase in respondents after counseling, it can be said that providing education with the counseling method is very effective for maternal knowledge about stunting so as to reduce the risk of stunting cases in the community.

Abstract

To reduce maternal mortality in Indonesia, one of the strategies is to provide antenatal care (ANC) services. According to statistics from health care institutions, particularly hospitals and maternal perinatal audits (AMP), 30 women died in 2017 at a rate of 105 per 100.000 live births. This number exceeds the 2016 figure of 97 per 100.000 births. The purpose of this activity is to ensure a healthy life and support the welfare of the mother and fetus, especially to prevent AKI and IMR. The method used is counseling in the local community and also during classes for pregnant women in certain midwife clinic areas. Based on the results of these activities, it was found that the mothers were very enthusiastic about the counseling. The new ANC approach which consists of components that discuss safe delivery planning, ANC communication approaches and family involvement of pregnant women can increase knowledge about ANC, especially knowledge about complications of pregnancy and safe delivery.

Abstract

Learning life skills and simple skills is very important to provide provisions for mentally retarded students. The aims of this training are to provide simple skills in making three-dimensional frames for independent living. This activity is followed by 12 middle class students at SLB YP3LB Makassar. The paper uses a qualitative approach by making observations. The implementation of the training on making three-dimensional frames went smoothly and resulted in several examples of frames made by students. Training for mentally retarded students and other students with special needs requires hand-eye coordination and longer time to get neat skill results. For this reason, it is suggested to the teacher to train the coordination of fine motor movements of students so that the coordination of the eyes and hands of students is well formed.

Abstract

In Indonesia, bleeding, hypertension in pregnancy, and infection continue to be the three leading causes of death among mothers. However, the proportion has changed, where bleeding and infection tend to decrease while the proportion of HDK (preeclampsia and eclampsia) is increasing. WHO estimates that cases of preeclampsia are seven times higher in developing countries than in developed countries. The prevalence of preeclampsia in developed countries is 1.3%-6%, while in developing countries it is 1.8%-18%. The incidence of preeclampsia in Indonesia alone is 128,273/year or about 5.3%. Based on data from the Indonesia Health Profile in 2017, bleeding is said to be the highest cause of maternal death in Indonesia (30,3%), then preeclampsia (27,1%), due to infection by 7,3% and other causes. preeclampsia is a hypertensive disorder in pregnancy which is also accompanied by proteinuria. In Indonesia, preeclampsia is currently the second highest cause of maternal death after bleeding. More than 4 million pregnant women experience preeclampsia each year. It is estimated that every year 50.000 to 70.000 women die from preeclampsia and 500.000 babies die. Preeclampsia is the cause of 15-20% of maternal deaths worldwide and the leading cause of fetal mortality and morbidity. The method used is Pre Test and Post Test using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the counseling there was an increase in respondents' knowledge about preeclampsia, which was in the good category as much as44 (93,6%). In conclusion, there is a very significant increase in respondents' knowledge after being given counseling.
