Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan strategi magnet summary dalam pengajaran menulis ringkasan terhadap siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test and post-test. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA 1 dan diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling rumpun. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes tertulis dan data tersebut dianalisa dengan menggunakan rumus ES (tingkat efektifitas). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai tratio = 10.58 lebih besar dari ttable = 2.042, yang berarti bahwa penggunaan strategi magnet summary efektif dalam mengajar menulis ringkasan. Perhitungan ukuran efek adalah 1.71 (> 1.00). Itu menandakan bahwa standar keefektifan test dikategorikan memiliki efek yang sangat kuat. Oleh karena itu, guru dapat menggunakan magnet summary sebagai strategi alternative dalam mengajar menulis ringkasan. Kata kunci: Magnet Summary, Menulis Ringkasan Abstract: This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of the magnet summary strategy in teaching writing summary to the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak in academic Year 2014/2015. This research was conducted as pre-experimental study with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample of this research was class XI MIA 1 and was taken by using cluster sampling technique. The data was collected by administering the written test and was analyzed by using t-test and effect size (ES) formula. The research findings show that the value of tratio=10.58 was bigger than ttable = 2.042. It means that the use of magnet summary strategy is effective in teaching writing summary. The calculation of effect size is 1.71 (> 1.00), which indicates standard effectiveness of the test is categorized as strong effect. Therefore, teacher can use magnet summary as an alternative strategy in teaching writing summary.   Keywords: Magnet Summary, Writing Summary

Abstract

AbstractA common problem in this study is whether there is an increase in the Citizenship Education learning outcomes using a model of problem based learning in class V of 41 Sungai Raya Public Schools? The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of Citizenship Education using a model of problem based learning in class V of 41 Sungai Raya Public Schools. This study uses descriptive methods with the form of classroom action research, and the nature of research is collaborative. Data collection techniques used were interview techniques, direct observation techniques, measurement techniques with data collection tools, namely observation and test sheets. The collected data is analyzed with the average calculation. This study was conducted in 3 cycles. The results obtained are the use of the problem based learning model is able to improve student learning outcomes, namely in cycle 1 obtained an average value of 74.71, and in the second cycle increased by 5.59 to 80.29, and in cycle 3 also experienced an increase of 4.12 to 84.41. With the implementation of a problem based learning model in learning civic education can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Model Based Learning, and Citizenship Education

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tema dan amanat, serta fungsi cerita dalam kumpulan cerita Kalantika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan objektif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kumpulan cerita Kalantika. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata, kalimat, dan isi keseluruhan teks cerita yang mencakup tentang tema, amanat, serta fungsi cerita  di dalam kumpulan cerita  Kalantika. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik studi dokumenter. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) tema cerita adalah tentang pengajaran hidup yang bermanfaat kepada manusia mengenai tradisi menanam padi, melanggar janji, tegar menghadapi permasalahan hidup yang berat, serta tema tentang penyesalan yang sangat menyakitkan. 2) amanat pada cerita dalam kumpulan cerita Kalantika secara garis besar menjelaskan mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan yang sangat penting, seperti nilai moral, nilai budaya, dan nilai budi pekerti yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. 3) fungsi yang terdapat pada cerita dalam kumpulan cerita Kalantika, yaitu fungsi hiburan, fungsi pendidikan anak, dan fungsi religius.   Kata kunci: Struktur, tema, amanat, fungsi This research was aimed to describe theme and message, as well as, the story function in the collection of folklore, Kalantika. The method used in this research was descriptive method and qualitative form of research. The researcher used objective approach. The source of data in this research was the collection of folklore, Kalantika. The data of this research were words, phrases, sentences, and the whole content of the texts that contained themes, messages in the collection of folklore, Kalantika, as well as,  function in the stories in the collection of folklore, Kalantika. The data collection technique in this research was documentary study technique. The results of this research were: 1) the theme of the story in the collection of folklore, Kalantika, was about valuable life lessons of planting rice tradition, broken promises, endurance in facing hard life problems, and hurtful regret; 2) messages of the story in the collection of folklore, Kalantika, mostly explained about very important education values, for instance, moral, cultural value, value of characters for life lessons in daily life; 3) the function of story in the collection of folklore, Kalantika, was as function of entertainment, function of child education, and function of religion.   Keywords: Structure, message, theme, function

Abstract

AbstractThe Purpose of this research is to know about the differentciation of children confidence before using show and tell method and knowing the confidence differencitation before and after using show and tell method and knowing the confidence differenciation before and after using show and tell method. This kind of research is experimental research method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The data experiment full filled with observation and documentation. The sample of this research is 4-5 years old children. Based on data analysis the research result titled The Effect Of The Show And Tell Method On Self Confidence in Childern Aged 4-5 Years In The Nursery Kindergartens TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Tebas is totally significant, because for the pretest score average is 17,7, and the posttest average is 10,60. And then the result from the table (8.271>2.0518) it means that there has after threatment given. Then to know how big the show and tell method the self confidence it has done ?effect size? test. With score1.648>1.00 knew that the effect from show and tell method to the self confidence of children ages 4-5 was.Keywords : Show and Tell method, self confidence, childern ages 4-5

Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “apakah terdapat korelasi antara penggunaan media peta terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Pontianak selatan?”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi korelasi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan peserta didik kelas VA dan VB yaitu berjumlah 51 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik komunikasi tidak langsung dan teknik pengukuran. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah angket dan lembar soal tes formatif. Tindakan analisis data yang digunakan adalah rumus rata-rata. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara penggunaan media peta terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 pontianak Selatan. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada perhitungan koofesien korelasi dari jumlah rxy < rtabel (0,024 < 0,27). Dengan demikian ha ditolak dan ho diterima. Secara khusus (1) Penggunaan media peta pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Pontianak Selatan termasuk kategori baik. (2) Hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Ilmu Penegtahuan Sosial kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Pontaianak Selatan termasuk kategori baik. (3) Korelasi penggunaan media peta terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Pontianak  Selatan sebesar 0,024 termasuk kategori sangat rendah. Maka, penggunaan media peta kurang efektif untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.   Kata kunci : Korelasi media peta, hasil belajar, ilmu pengetahuan sosial Abstract: The problem in this research is “ is there any correlation between the usage of mapping media toward student’social science achievement  of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 05 Pontianak Selatan?”.  In this research , the method used is descriptive method with form the correlation studying research. The sample is all of the fifth grade students, 5th A and 5th B. The total number is 51 students. Technique of data collecting are indirectly communicative technique and measurement technique. Tools of collecting data are questionnaire and formative test. The act of data analysis used is median formula. The result of this research shows that there is no significant correlation between the usage of mapping media toward students’ social science achievement of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 05 Pontianak Selatan. It can be seen from the counting of correlation cooefficient of from rxy < rtabel (0,024 < 0,27).  From that, it can be said that ha is rejected and ho is accepted.  Specifically for (1) the usage of mapping media in learning social science of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 05 Pontianak Selatan can be classified into good category. (2) students’ social science achievement of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 05 Pontianak Selatan can be classify into good category. (3) The correlation of mapping media toward students’ social science achievement of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 05 Pontianak Selatan as big as 0.024 included into lower category.  Then, the usage of mapping media is not really efective to be used in learning social science. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the forms of meaning and noun in the Malay language of Sanggau dialect. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The data of this research is Malay language noun Sanggau dialect used by the people of the City of Sirku. Source of research data in the form of Malay Sanggau dialect spoken by narrative speakers of Sanggau Malay dialect represented by two informants. The techniques used are interview techniques and proficient listening considerations, while the tools used are a list of question, notebooks, and stationery. The results of data analysis of the Malay noun Sanggau dialect, namely, the form of Malay noun Sanggau dialect, there are basic nouns and derived nouns. There are two derivatives, namely affixed nouns and plural nouns. Nouns re-form contained in the Malay language Sanggau dialect that is intact looping, copying sound repetition, and partial looping. Keyword: Noun, Malay, my narrative dialect in Sanggau

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menyanyikan lagu model daerah setelah diterapkan metode Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) di kelas VII B SMP Negeri 2 Singkawang. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B berjumlah 32 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi dan lembar uji keterampilan. Hasil siklus I diperoleh bahwa aspek artikulasi, pengucapan kata-kata masih belum sempurna. Pada aspek intonasi, siswa kesulitan saat nada rendah. Pada aspek ekspresi, siswa masih terlihat tegang dan malu saat menyanyi di depan kelas. Pada siklus II artikulasi siswa sudah bagus, setiap kosa kata yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu sudah terdengar jelas. Siswa sudah dapat menyanyikan lagu dengan intonasi yang tepat. Ekspresi siswa sudah mulai percaya diri saat tampil di depan kelas walaupun masih terlihat sedikit tegang dan malu. Dapat disimpulkan metode STAD dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menyanyikan lagu model. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan, Lagu Model, Metode STAD Abstract: This study aims to improve the skills of students in singing the song after the regional model methods Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) in class VII B SMP Negeri 2 Singkawang applies. The research is a form of class action. The subjects were students of class VII B amounted to 32 people. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research tool is the observation sheets and sheets test of skill. The results of the first cycle that aspect of the joint was obtained, the pronunciation of words is not yet perfect. In terms of intonation, students' difficulties when a low tone. In the aspect of the term, students still looked tense and embarrassed to sing in front of the class. In the second cycle students have good articulation, each vocabulary contained in the lyrics of the song has been heard clearly. Students have been able to sing with proper intonation. The expression of the students were safer when they appear in front of the class even though it still looks a little tense and embarrassed. It can be concluded STAD method can improve students' skills in singing songs models. Keywords: skill, song models, STAD method

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to determine the feasibility of media flash flipbook on material biodiversity. The method used in this research was descriptive method with quantitative research technique. This media flash flipbook then was tested for feasibility by material experts and media experts. Experts material was lecturer of Biology Education Studies Program in FKIP Untan, a teacher of Biology Class X SMAN 1 Mandor and one Biology teacher class X SMA Swasta Yaraairo. Expert media was  lecturer of Physics Education Study Program in FKIP Untan, one lecturer ICT in IKIP PGRI Pontianak and one Information Technology and Communication teacher grade X SMAN 2 Ngarak. Based on the result of the validation analysis, media flash flipbook was validated feasible to be used as introduction media on material biodiversity by material experts with an average total value was 3.93 and media experts with an average total value was 3.70. Abstract

AbstractThe research of implicature based on existence of implicature itself is part of daily conversation in society. The implicature is speech that thinking by different with what it saying implies. This research applied descriptive method in qualitative with documenter technique study. Tool of data collection is the researcher as the key of instrument and applied the instrument’s help like notes that contains the result of reading and reviewing the speech that contains conventional and non-conventional implicature in novel Pertanyaan kepada Kenangan by Faisal Oddang. The result research shows that there are 116 implicatures and divided into 64 conventional implicatures and 52 non-conventional implicatures. That implicature classified based on (1) implicature form in total 35 data of conventional implicatures and 44 data of non-conventional implicatures. (2) implicature function in total 64 data of conventional implicatures and 52 data of non-conventional implicatures. (3) illocution acts in total 25 data of conventional implicatures and perlocution acts in total 28 implicatures data that 1 data of  conventional implicature and 27 data of non-conventional implicature. The combine of illocution and perlocution in total 25 data, from non-conventional implicatures. (4) lesson plan which is able to be applied in Curriculum 2013 class XII with second semester. Keywords: implicature, illocution, perlocution, lesson plan

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of academic supervision and leadership of the principal on teacher competency in management of learning at elementary school in South jawai, Sambas Regency. The method of this study is a survey research with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques of this study was a questionnaire and literature review and analyzed quantitatively by means of description, test analysis, test normalytas, test linieritas, and multiple regression analysis. The results of study found that: (1) Academic supervision (X1) provides a positive and significant effect on the teacher competency in management of learning (Y) with percentage 36 % ; (2) Leadership principal on teacher (X2) provides a positive and significant effect on the teacher competency in management  of learning (Y) with percentage 38 % ; ( 3) Academic supervision (X1) and Leadership principal on teacher (X2) provides a positive and significant effect on the teacher competency in management  of learning (Y) at elementary school in South Jawai, with percentage 37 %.Keywords: Academic supervision, leadership, teaching performance.
