Abstract

Abstract This research aims to knowing the difference of using media mini book with discourse method towards the learning outcome of student XI Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. The method was used experiment with the quasi experimental designe is non equivalent control group design. This research had become experiment class is student of XI IIS, therefore for the class control is XI MIA. The data was taken using instrument is essay which had validated the validity and reability. The result of this research shows there were differences of the average score between experiment and control class. The learning outcomes of students who had used mini book on economics subjects on national income material obtained an average post-test score of 62.83 and without using mini-books for 49.50. In the test the independent sample t test can be seen in the sig column (2-tailed), it is known that the sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.045 <0.05. It can be concluded that there is a difference between the use of mini-book media and without the use of mini-book media towards learning outcomes of students of class XI Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. Which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the calculation of the effect size, the result is 0.52 so it can be concluded that the effect size is classified as moderate. Keywords : Learning Outcomes, Mini Book

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin kerja guru pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Pontianak Kota, Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru-guru sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Pontianak Kota yang berjumlah 77 orang. Hasil analisis menunjukan terdapat hubungan positif antara gaya kepemimpinan dan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap disiplin kerja guru pada sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Pontianak Kota. Dengan demikian, kepala sekolah dengan gaya kepemimpinan dan supervisi  akademik dapat membantu guru-guru dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja sehingga menjadi guru yang profesional. Kata Kunci : Gaya Kepemimpinan, Supervisi Akademik, Disiplin Abstract :This study aims to reveal the influence of leadership style and academic supervision of the school head teacher working discipline at the State Primary School in the district of Kota Pontianak, Pontianak. This study uses a quantitative approach. Samples were teachers in public primary schools in the District of Pontianak City which amounted to 77 people. Results of the analysis showed a positive relationship between leadership style and academic supervision of the school head together to work discipline teachers in public primary schools in the District of Pontianak City. Thus, the principal style of leadership and academic supervision can assist teachers in improving work discipline to become a professional teacher.   Key Words : Leadership Style , Academic Supervision , Discipline

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is "Analysis of the Application of Opening Skills of Teaching by Sociology Teachers of Class XA of SMA PGRI 1 PONTIANAK". The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the skills to open teacher learning at PGRI 1 Pontianak High School. This researcher was carried out using descriptive research methods using qualitative forms. The research technique used is 1. Direct Communication Technique and 2. Documentary Study Technique. From the results of the study can be concluded as follows: 1) Skills to open lessons to cause students' motivation in sociology subjects in class X a SMA 1 PGRI Pontianak, based on the results of research observations and interviews are quite skilled. 2) The results of the observation showed that the teacher applied the skills to open the lesson in attracting the attention of students in the sociology subject of class X a SMA1 PGRI Pontianak quite skillfully carried out can be categorized as "Good" in this case seen from the teacher's skill in applying the skills to open the lesson in attracting students' attention, motivating students and provide references in learning. Keyword : Learning Skills, High School Teachers.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran SFE (Student Facilitator and Explaining) pada materi gas ideal di kelas XI IPA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang. Bentuk penelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas, terdiri dari dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 28 siswa. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan tes uraian. Hasil observasi menunjukkan aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II, yaitu aktivitas bertanya 14,29% menjadi 21,43%, menjawab pertanyaan 17,86% menjadi 21,43%, mengemukakan pendapat 28,57% menjadi 35,71% dan mencatat/meringkas materi 96,43% menjadi 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 36,39 dengan ketuntasan 78,57% dan pada siklus II sebesar 58,53 dengan ketuntasan 85,71%.   Kata Kunci: SFE, Hasil Belajar, Aktivitas Abstract: This research aimed to: find out the increase of learning outcomes and student  activities by applying the learning model of SFE (Student Facilitator and Explaining) on the ideal gas in the grade XI of Natural Science major of State Senior High School 1 Sungai Ambawang. This research was a classroom action research which consisted of two cycles with the the stages as follows: planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 28 students. The data were collected through observations and description tests. The results of observations showed that the student learning activities increased from the first to the second cycle, i.e. in the form of asking questions from 14.29% to 21.43%, answering questions from 17.86% to 21.43%, expressing opinions from 28.57% to 35.71%, and taking note/summarizing the teaching material from 96.43% to 100%. The results of the research indicated an average improvement of learning outcomes in the first cycle by 36.39 with a completeness of 78.57%, and in the second cycle by 58.53 with a completeness of 85.71%.   Keywords: SFE, Learning Outcomes, Activities

Abstract

AbstractData were analyzed qualitatively, with YohanesAben as interviewer and some people who active and know about traditional  music, especially Begamal melody of Dayak KancingMeliau sub-district Sanggau district. Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded that Begamal melody is the result of literal repetition from one melody pattern, whether it’s a vocal melody or kromong melody. Vocal melody of begamal using pentatonic scale which the sing process use ornament, but in Kromong melody used tetratonic scale. Begamal can be sung by man and woman. BasicallyBegamal music is played as a ritual music and be accompany music of traditional dance from Dayak Kancing tribe. Along with the times, Begamal music began to appear at art show in the context of entertainment. This research is expected to be able for being a stimulus of  proclivity growth to learn Begamal music, especially melody of Begamal  Dayak Kancing tribe Meliau sub-district Sanggau district.Keywords: Analysis, Begamal, Dayak Kancing, Meliau, Melody, Sanggau

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to analyze the teachers’ evaluation on their pedagogical competence and strategies to enhance their pedagogical competence. In this study, the case was the English Teachers’ Pedagogical competence weaknesses in Teluk Batang. This case study involved six English teachers of SMPN at Teluk Batang district. The data collecting technigues used in this  study were observation, field notes, interview and questionnaire. The researcher analyzed the teachers’ evaluation on their pedagogical competence using the standard application recommended by the National Education Department. The results of the analysis showed that the teachers needed improvement in assessment and evaluation competence. Therefore, the researcher proposed strategies that available for the teachers to enhance their pedagogical competence, those are; effective classroom management; effective teaching practice; effective assessment; and technology skill.Keywords : Case Study,  Pedagogical Competence,  Teachers’ Evaluation

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengklasifikasian tokoh dan penokohan dalam novel ADM karya Adnan Katino. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Hasil analisis tokoh yaitu pertama, Nasib digolongkan tokoh utama, protagonis, dan netral. Kedua, Asih digolongkan tokoh antagonis, kompleks, dan netral. Ketiga, Mamat digolongkan tokoh tambahan, antagonis, dan kompleks. Keempat, Supriono digolongkan tokoh protagonis dan tipikal. Kelima, Denok digolongkan tokoh datar dan netral.  Keenam, Roy Ceking digolongkan tokoh tambahan dan antagonis. Ketujuh, Penyok digolongkan tokoh datar, tambahan, dan protagonis. Kedelapan, Basyir digolongkan tokoh tambahan dan protagonis. Kesembilan, Babe digolongkan tokoh tambahan, antagonis, dan kompleks.  Kesepuluh, Pak Giok digolongkan tokoh protagonis, kompleks, dan tipikal. Kesebelas, Buya, digolongkan tokoh netral. Penokohan dalam novel ADM yaitu Nasib ditampilkan secara campuran, Mamat secara dramatik, Asih secara campuran, Supriono  secara campuran,  Denok secara dramatik, Penyok secara campuran, Buya secara dramatik, Babe secara dramatik, Roy Ceking secara dramatik, Pak Giok secara dramatik, dan Basyir ditampilkan secara dramatik.   Kata kunci: Tokoh, Penokohan, Novel, Struktural Abstrack: This study aims to determine the classification of the characters and characterizations in the novel ADM by Adnan Katino. The method used is descriptive. The results of the analysis of the characters and characterizations contained in the novel ADM firstly by Adnan Katino, the results of the analysis of figures and characters in the novel ADM firstly, Nasib are classified into main character, protagonist, simple, and neutral. Secondly, Asih is classified into additional, antagonist, complex, and neutral. Then, Mamat classified into additional figures, additional, antagonists, and complex. Fourth, Supriono is classified into additional, simple, protagonist, and typical. Then, Denok, classified into additional, protagonist, simple, and flatand neutral character. The sixth, Roy Ceking is classified into additional, antagonistic and an extra character. Next, Penyok is classified into additional, simple, and the protagonist. Then, Basyir classed into the additional characters, protagonists and complex . Then, Babe is classified into the additional characters, antagonists, and complex. Next, Pak Giok classified into the additional characters, protagonist, complex, and typical. The last, Buya is classified into the additional characters, protagonist, additional, and  neutral. Characters featured in the novel ADM classified in two ways, namely, dramatic (indirect), and mix. The character of Mamat discribed dramatically, Denok dramatically, and Roy Ceking dramatically, and Basyir dramatically, and Babe dramatically, and Pak Giok dramatically, and Penyok dramatically, and Asih mix, and Nasib mix, and Supriono mix,  and Buya mix. Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan Aktivitas Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Menggunakan Model Kooperatif Pair Check Di Kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Rasau Jaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial menggunakan model kooperatif pair check di kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Rasau Jaya. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan sifat penelitian yaitu kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpul data adalah teknik observasi langsung. Aktivitas siswa menggunakan model kooperatif pair check siklus I yaitu 70,83%, siklus II 83,33% dan siklus III 89,17%. Dengan demikian, model kooperatif pair check dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas, Model Kooperatif Pair Check   Abstract: Improving students’ activity in social sciences learning by using pair check cooperative model at the grade V of elementary school Muhammadiyah Rasau Jaya. The purpose of this research is to improve students’ activity of social sciences learning by using cooperatif pair check model in the five level of elementary school Muhammadiyah of Rasau Jaya. The method of this research is using descriptive method. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with collaborative characteristic. This research conducted in three cycles which is started from planning, action, observing, and reflecting. The technic use in collecting the data is direct observation technic. Students activity by using cooperatif pair check model in first cycle is 70,83%, the second cycle is 83,33% and the third cycle is 89,17%. in short, the cooperatif pair check model can improve the students’ activity. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis teks berita melalui media audio visual di kelas VIII B SMP Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 31 siswa di kelas VIII B. Hasil analisis data tes menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mencapai 75,5 dengan kategori baik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dan selalu mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual dalam proses pembelajaran menulis teks berita dapat melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam menuangkan pikiran- pikiran ke dalam bentuk tulisan dan membantu siswa dalam memperoleh gambaran yang jelas tentang peristiwa yang terjadi pada berita yang akan ditulis. Hal ini terjadi karena fokusnya indera pendengaran dan penglihatan siswa, sehingga mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam menuangkan ide atau gagasan dalam bentuk tulisan.   Kata Kunci: Menulis Berita, Media Audio Visual   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the process and student learning outcomes in a text message through audio-visual media in class VIII B of SMP St. Francis of Assisi Pontianak. The method used is descriptive qualitative research design Class Action. The subjects were 31 students in class VIII B. The results of the analysis of the test data indicates that the completeness of student learning outcomes reached 75.5 in both categories. This research was conducted by 2 cycles and always increase. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded He use of audio- visual media in the process of learning to write news text can engage students actively in expressing thoughts into written form and assist students in obtaining a clear picture of the events of the story to be written   Keywords : Writing Text News, Using Media Audio Visual

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan analisis kompetensi pedagogik guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan dan Kewarganegaraan di Kabupaten Sintang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel tunggal yaitu guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan dan kewargaan di Kabupaten Sintang berjumlah 50 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik komunikasi langsung, observasi langsung. Alat yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data dilapangan adalah pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru mata pelajaran, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru mata pelajaran PKn di Kabupaten Sintang. Dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan hal yang utama, pada tahap pelaksanaannya guru PKn menyampaikan materi Pelajaran, peserta didik mendengarkan dan proses interaksi antara guru dan peserta didik berjalan dengan harmonis, suasana belajar yang kondusif.   Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru PKn Di Kabupaten Sintang Abstract: This study aims to determine and describe the analysis of pedagogical competence of teachers of subjects Education and Citizenship in Sintang. The method used in this research is quantitative. The variable in this study is a single variable that is subject teacher education and citizenship in Sintang numbered 50 people. Number collection techniques used in this study is teknik comunicasion direct, direct observation. The tools used in the collection of field are guidelines for observation, interview with principals and subject teachers, questionnaires and documentacion. In the process of learning is the main thing, at this stage of the implementation of teachers Civics delivering materials lesson, learners listen and process of interaction between teachers and learners walk in harmony, a conducive learning atmosphere, the teacher seeks to guide and direct the learners.
