Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research are to  know and to understand deeper about the form of the performance of JepinLangkahGersikPantai dance, including the range of motion, accompaniment music, cosmetology, and the clothes Also, upper and under design, and the place to show. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative method with choreography approach. The results of this research are 1. JepinLangkahGersikPantai at Pontianak West Kalimantanis represented the life of the people who live near the beach. 2. JepinLangkahGersikPantai is divided into three categories those are first movement (pantai) second movement (nyusorarus), last movement (nyusorgelombang). 3. The numbers of the dancers should be in even numbers and consist of men and women. 4. The instruments of this dance are beruas, violin, accordion, and gambus. 5. JepinLangkahGersikPantai dance is using realistic cosmetics. 6. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe goal of this research was to know the associative social interaction in forms of cooperation and accommodation of arowana fish entrepreneurs at Tanjung Village in Suhaid Sub-district of Kapuas Hulu District. The method used was qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The data collection tools were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation tools. The data analysis techniques used were datareduction, data presentation, decision making, and verification. The results were (1) the associative social interaction in form of the traditional cooperation in arowana fish entrepreneurs at Tanjung Village in Suhaid Sub-district of Kapuas Hulu District, was evident in M. Amin, Saleh, Ruslan, Sunardi and Syah Bandi who helped each other in theprocess of fishing in other areas in Kapuas Hulu, in the process of marketing fish to costumers in several areas, in the process of fish packaging ordered by customers in Pontianak, in the process of delivering fish to Pontianak, in the process of arowana fish contest at PCC building in Pontianak; (2) the associative social interaction in form of thecompromise accommodation in arowana fish entrepreneurs at Tanjung Village in Suhaid Sub-district of Kapuas Hulu District, was proven in Ruslan and Sunardi in finding solutions to their entrepreneurship problems through discussion.Keywords:Arowana Fish Entrepreneur, Social Interaction.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effectiveness of problem based learning model to increase the students’ learning outcomes in the Civic Education Subject. This is an experimental study on the 10th-grade Social 3 Students of SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. This study was conducted in the form of pre-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design. 32 students participated in the study. The research instruments used are 15 multiple-choice test items for the pretest and 15 for the posttest. The average scores collected from the pretest and posttest are 78,81 and 93. Accordingly, it indicates that there is a difference in the results of students’ learning outcomes; therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. With the effect size by 1,57 (high category), it is concluded that the applied learning model highly improved the students’ learning outcomes in the Civic Education subject at Grade 10 Social 3 SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak, especially on the material discussing Threat to the state in the frame of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.Keywords: Effectiveness, Learning Model, Problem Based Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis thesis was conducted to describe on how cartoon films can improve students’ pronunciation ability and how cartoon films can improve students’ pronunciation ability in pronouncing correct word. The method used in this research was collaborative action research. The research was conducted in two cycles from July 16th until July 19th, 2019 at the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 3 Subah. The research data were collected by using techniques of observation, document, and test. The data were analyzed through a constant comparative method and descriptive statistics. The research findings and discussion show that the pronunciation of the students of VIII at SMPN 3 Subah improved through the use of cartoon film. The activities were conducting using PowerPoint presentations, recordings of learner’ production technique; reading aloud; listening and imitating. Those activities gave an improvement in the students’ pronunciation. The implementation of reading aloud could improve students’ pronunciation — the texts for reading aloud that given contained sentence stress. The students were helped to have excellent intonation when they read the text. The result of the research implies that English teachers need to choose the appropriate media in teaching pronunciation. The proper media to teach pronunciation is cartoon films.Keywords: Cartoon Film, Pronunciation, Word Stress.

Abstract

Abstract The aims of this research was to describe student errors when solving problems in stoichiometry in X  Science Class SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak and to explain cause of the errors. This research use description method with study case. The subjects of this research are twenty three students in X Science Class. Test and instrument used to collect the data are  question test and interview with students. The question test  use essay test. According to data analysis,  the result of this research showed us that students errors to understand essential concepts (24,81%), errors in comprehend contact between concepts (69,20%) and errors when using concept to solve problems (69,20%). The reason of the errors are internal factors. The internal factors that cause students errors when solving problem in stoichiometry included inablity to understand concepts in stoichiometry, poorly trained basic skills of mathematics and careless in solving problems.    Keyword: Cause of the Errors, Description, Errors, Stoichiometry.

Abstract

AbstractResearchers are interested in examining official letters because there are still many language errors, especially in the use of spelling, word choices, and effective sentences. In addition, researchers are also interested because they want to show the truth of language in writing official letters, so that people do not view the letter only as a symbol or notification. The problem that is the object of research is as follows. Spelling in writing official letters, diction in writing official letters, effective sentences in writing official letters, and research applications on learning Indonesian in high school (SMA) at the Kiung Village Office. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative form of research, while the data in this study are written data about spelling errors, namely the use of spelling errors of official letters at the Kiung Village Office, Suti Semarang District, Bengkayang Regency. Analysis of Spelling Error Writing Letters found 15 errors in writing capital letters, Writing Letters and syllables 2 errors in writing capital letters, Writing Abbreviations and Abbreviations as many as 2 errors in writing capital letters, errors in punctuation errors in commas as many as 6 errors. Keywords: Diction, Effective Sentences, Kiung Village, Service Letter, Spelling

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the relationship between: self efficacy with learning outcomes, discipline with learning outcomes, responsibility with learning outcomes, interest in learning with learning outcomes, self efficacy, discipline, responsibility and interest in learning joint learning outcomes, as well as, and major responsibilities contributing to success, discipline, responsibility and interest in learning towards the results of mathematics learning in fourth grade students of 28 Pontianak Elementary School. This study uses descriptVe methods using quantitatVe. This type of research is correlational. This study is a population research with a population of 66 students. Data collection is done using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis techniques were carried out by descriptVe statistical analysis, while to determine the relationship between variable variables namely self efficacy, discipline, responsibility and interest in learning with mathematics learning outcomes were used through simple calculations and multiple conversions. The results showed that there was a positVe and significant relationship between: self efficacy with learning outcomes, discipline with learning outcomes, responsibility with learning outcomes, interest in learning with learning outcomes, self efficacy, discipline, responsibility answer answer and interest in learning together with learning outcomes with the results of mathematics learning in fourth grade students of 28 Pontianak Elementary School.Keywords : Discipline, Interest, Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Responsibility, Self Efficacy

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the use of imperative speech in outdoor media in Sambas Regency. Researchers focus on media advertising space and traffic indicators and tourism. The problem in the thesis is the use of imperative speech in outdoor media in Sambas Regency. The purpose of the study is to describe the types and forms of imperative speeches in outdoor media in the Regency. The method used is descriptive method, a form of qualitative research. Source of outdoor media data in Sambas Regency. Data collection techniques documentation and record techniques. Tools for collecting data are cameras, notebooks and stationery. The results of the study there are five types of imperative utterances, namely eighteen ordinary imperative utterances, ten sentences of request orders, two sentences of granting permission, nine sentences of solicitation commands, and two sentences of instructional orders. The imperative speech form consists of two types namely, formal form and imperative pragmatic form. Two forms of formal existence are active imperative and passive imperative. Researcher's further suggestion is that this research can be a reference and reference for the reader regarding the use of imperative speech. Keywords: Pragmatics, Imperatives, Outdoor Media

Abstract

AbstractVerbs are one of the most commonly used syntax in Chinese expression and important materials in Chinese teaching. For example, verbs "qubie" and "fenbie" are often used in daily spoken Chinese. There are some differences in the usage of these two words, which makes students incorrect on using them. In order to understand the situation and difficulties of Tanjungpura University FKIP Untan Chinese Education Program batch 2016 students in mastering the verbs "qubie" and "fenbie", the author uses the test method to test the students. The test results show that some of the usages of these two modal words have been mastered well, but some of them are not mastered very well. The correct rates of "Qu Bie" and "Fen Bie" are 53.47% and 65.08% respectively.Keywords: Allegation, Difference and Distinguish, Mastery Analysis?Verb

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how the Effect of Parenting Parents on Emotional Social Development of Children Aged 5-6 Years in Assalam Kindergarten, West Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research. The data source of this research is 29 parents and 29 children of B3 group in Assalam Kindergarten, West Pontianak. This research technique is by observation with an observation sheet, the use of questionnaires with questionnaires, and documentaries with documentation tools. Analysis of the data in this study is simple linear regression. Based on the results of research that has been done and through the results obtained from data analysis, in general it can be concluded that the results of the study indicate the value of parenting parents on children's social emotional development of 3,463 with Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000, so compared to the significance level of 0.05 (5%), the Sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than 0.05 (5%). This means that there is an influence of parenting variable (X) on the emotional social development of children (Y) aged 5-6 years in TK Assalam, West Pontianak. Then, the value of the coefficient of determination (R Square) is also known at 0.114. This means increasingly proving that the influence of parenting parents on children's social emotional development is 11.4% and only 0.17% is influenced by other factors. Keywords:Parenting, Emotional Social Development AUD
