Abstract

AbstractThis research on the analysis physical, language, and legal variables on outdoor media in Bengkayang District. The object of this research is physical, language, and legal variables in outdoor media: (1) nameplate of government and private agencies; (2) nameplate of the place of trade: (3) outdoor advertising; (4) nameplate of housing and lodging; and (5) traffic and tourism instructions.The data were analyzed as many as 100 data processing objects which are the research domains, namely 20 nameplate data on government and private agencies, 20 nameplate data on the place of trading business, 20 data on outdoor advertising, 20 nameplate of housing and lodging, and 20 traffic and tourism instructions taken on several main roads in Bengkayang District.Based on the results of data analysis, there were 587 physical variable scores, 444 language variables, and 542 legal variables. After the final value of each number of variables was calculated, the total value of outdoor media in Bengkayang District, Bengkayang District showed results 497.5 which is included in the controlled criteria IV. Controlled criteria IV are areas where foreign language use is controlled by prioritizing Indonesian or regional languages.Keywords: Outdoor Media, Physical Variables, Language Variables, Legal Variables, Bengkayang District

Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana Pengaruh Penggunaan Model Inquiry Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Pontianak Selatan?”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk Quasi Eksperimental Design, dengan pola  x . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif.Sampel penelitian ini adalah 20 orang siswa. Hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata pre-test sebesar 42,05 dan rata-rata post-test sebesar 69,8. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan model inquiry dan sesudah menggunakan model inquiry. Dari hasil perhitung effect size (ES) diperoleh ES sebesar 2,04 (kriteria tinggi). Hal ini berarti penggunaan model inquiry pada pembelajaran IPA memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Pontianak Selatan.   Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Model Inquiry, Hasil Belajar   Abstract : The problem in this research is "How Influence of Inquiry Model Against Student Results In Natural Sciences Learning Class V State Elementary School 15 South Pontianak?". The method used in this study is an experiment with the form of Quasi Experimental Design , with patterns  x  . This type of research is quantitative . The sample was 20 students . Results of data analysis obtained an average pre -test of 42.05 and the average post-test of 69.8. Concluded that there is a difference in student learning outcomes before using the model of inquiry and after using the model of inquiry. From the results perhitung effect size ( ES ) is obtained ES of 2.04 ( height criteria ) . This means that the use of inquiry in science teaching models provide high impact on learning outcomes of fifth grade students of State Elementary School 15 South Pontianak .   Keywords : Effect Model Inquiry, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe research aim to describe the ability of students mathematical representation in accomplishing contextual problem of linear programming. This research used descriptive method. Subjects in this research were students of class XI MIA. Based on the analysis of research data obtained are: (1) the students ability of table representation of linear programming included in the high criteria with percentages 87,84% and the average score was 3,51; (2) the students ability of model mathematic of linear programming included in the medium criteria with percentages 68,24% and the average score was 2,73; and (3) the students ability of problem solvingrepresentation of linear programming included in the medium criteria with percentages 43,24% and the average score was 1,73. The ability of students mathematicals representation are in medium criteria with a percentages 66,44% and the average score was 2,66. Keyword:The Ability of Mathematical Representation, Contextual Problem, Linear Programming

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model cooperative learning tipe TAI (team assisted individualization) terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 50 Pontianak Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian Quasi Eksperimen Design dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VB yang berjumlah 26 orang dan kelas VA yang berjumlah 28 orang. Hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata?rata post-test pada kelas ekperimen diperoleh sebesar 73,42 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 56,18. Hasil perhitungan effect size data hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh sebesar 1,15 diklasifikasikan dalam kategori tinggi, yang berarti bahwa model TAI memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran Matematika di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 50 Pontianak Barat.   Kata kunci: Team assisted individualization, hasil belajar. Abstract: This research aimed to analyze the influence of learning engineering mathematics model cooperative learning tipe TAI (team assisted individualization) the learning outcomes of students of class V Elementary School number 50 West Pontianak. The method used in this study is Experiments with Quasi Experiment Design research shapes the research design nonequivalent control group design. The sample was a third grade students VB totalling 26 and Class VA, amounting to 28 people. The results of the data analysis, the average obtained post-test in the experiment class obtained at 73,43 while the control class is 56,18. The results of the calculation of effect size data from the experimental study of students and grade class gained control of 1,15 is classified in the category of high, which means that the application of the model Problem Based Learning influence high the learning outcomes of students in the subjects of Mathematics at the Elementary School third grade 50 West Pontianak.   Keywords: Team assisted individualization, learning outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the implementation of the used of the North Kayong regional government scholarship grants for students of the social sciences education department of Fkip Untan, with descriptive methods. The type of research was qualitative. The data sources in this study were 6 social studies students majoring in social sciences. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study can be seen that (1) the implementation of the used of the North Kayong regional government scholarship funds by students was partly in accordance with the applicable rules but there were still some that were not in accordance with the rules. (2) discrepancies in the used of scholarship funds by scholarship recipients were indicated by students who still used scholarship funds for their personal needs such as buyed bags, clothes, shoes. The main priority of scholarship funds should be used for college purposes, such as buyed books, photocopyed, printing assignments, and buyed stationery for college. (3) efforts made by the scholarship management to avoid inconsistencies in the used of scholarship funds, namely by monitoring evaluations on each semester and making accountability reports for the used of scholarship funds by students to find out in their used each semester.Keywords: Comdev Students, Local Government Assistance, Scholarship.

Abstract

AbstractWriter’s background to observe the style of language is to find better understanding about the style of the language itself. The purpose of this research is to describe meanings and style of language of the lyrics in Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi. The method in this research is using Descriptive Method, Qualitative Research Approach, and Library Research. Data in this research is style of language in the lyrics of Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi. Data sources of this research is the entire songs in Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi amount to 10 (ten) songs. The results of this research in observing the style of language in every-lyric of songs of Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi, Writer founds that 8 (eight) styles of language according to scope of problem in this research that is rhetorical style of language are: Alliteration, Asyndeton, Polysyndeton,  Assonance, Litotes, Hyperbola; and Figurative style of language: Personification and Symploce. In this research, writer founds that 7 (seven) meanings contain in the lyrics of the songs of Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi (Extension, Gereflecter, Grammatical, Non-referential, Cognitive, Figurative, and Pictorial). Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was that are meanings of dance property symbols that need to be revealed in connection with the use of the property of Selodang Mayang in the Selodang Mayang Dance. The method used in this research was descriptive method. This form of research is qualitative research. The research approach used is the iconographic approach. The source of the data in this study was the result of interviews with the speakers of Raja Mardan Adi Jaya Kusuma Ibrahim, Decky Prasetya and Budi Harun. Data Collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data collection tool in this study is the researcher as the main instrument, interview guilde and documentation tools. The result of this study were the meaning of property symbol Selodang Mayang is as a binder of friendship and togetherness of welcoming guests at the robo-robo event. Mayang describe is the diversity that exists in Indonesian society consisting of various tribes, religions, races and groups, especially on the island of Pedalaman Mempawah Regency.This is in accordance with the tradition that at first this dance was danced by court ladies to welcome the guest of the King that came.Keywords: Dance Property, Selodang Mayang, Symbol Meaning

Abstract

Abstrak: ketertarikan untuk medeskripsikan fungsi tekstual dan kontekstual musik Jonggan. Adapun alasan memilih tinjauan musikologi musik Jonggan dikarnakan keunikan irama, pola tabuhan, serta syair musik jonggan dan penelitian yang terkait dengan musik Jonggan sampai saat ini tidak ada. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “bagaimana fungsi musik Jonggan dari segi tekstual? Dan “bagaimana fungsi kontekstual makna nilai yang terkandung di dalam musik Jonggan Dayak Kanayatn?” Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif dengan pendekatan musikologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Musik Jonggan Dayak Kanayatn juga terdapat sistem motif melodi berdasarkan tinjauan musikologi yaitu pengulangan harafiah, ulangan pada tingkat lain (Sekuens), pembesaran interval, pemerkecilan interval, pembalikan, pembesaran nilai nada, pemerkecilan nilai nada. (2) Musik Jonggan Dayak Kanayatn memiliki sepuluh fungsi musik.   Kata Kunci: Musik Jonggan, Dayak Kanayatn, Dalam Tinjauan Musikologi   Abstract: interest in textual and contextual functions description Jonggan music. This study uses descriptive analysis, qualitative approach in the form of musicology. The results showed that: (1) Music Jonggan Kanayatn Dayak motifs also contained system based on the melody of musicology is the literal repetition, repetition at another level (sequence), enlargement of the interval, the interval pemerkecilan, reversal, enlargement of the value of the tone, the tone value smile. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  efektivitas aplikasi Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) untuk meremediasi kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal gerak lurus di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan rancangan one group pre-test post-test design. Alat pengumpul data berupa 5 soal pilihan esai dari 5 indikator soal. Sampel penelitian ini ialah 31 orang siswa dari kelas VIIA yang dipilih dengan teknik intact group. Berdasarkan analisis jawaban, bentuk-bentuk kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa sebelum dan sesudah remediasi mengalami penurunan dari 65,7% menjadi 22,4%. Persentase penurunan untuk kesalahan dalam memvisualisasikan soal adalah sebesar 68%, untuk kesalahan menentukan rumus sebesar 59%, dan untuk kesalahan menyelesaikan perhitungan sebesar 77%. Berdasarkan perhitungan effect size diperoleh nilai 0,54 dengan kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) efektif untuk meremediasi kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal gerak lurus. Abstract: This study aims to determine effectiveness of application Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) to remediate students’ errors in solving the problem of linier motion in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. This research is a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. The data collecting instrument are 5 essay questions from 5 question indicators. The sample of this research were 31 students from VIII A class, choosen by using intact group technique. Based on the data analysis, the errors type before and after remediation has decreased  from 65,7% to 22,4%. The percentage decline of error in question visualisation is 68%, for error in determine formula is 59%, and for error in solve the calculation is 77%. Effect size calculation obtained 0,54 in moderate category. Those results show that application Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) effective to remediate students’ errors in solving the problem of linier motion. Abstract

AbstractThis qualitative research aims to find out the understanding of student concepts based on APOS theory in integer material.The method used is descriptive. The main aspect that will be explained in this research is the understanding of student concepts based on APOS theory in integer material in the SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya class VII. APOS theory can be used to identify student understanding of concepts in integer material which will later be described in four stages, namely the action, process, object and scheme stage. The subject of this research consists of 6 students class VII A SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya who have different abilities, namely high, medium and low ability. The result of this research showed the students who are in excellent category is in the stage of the scheme, this can be seen when students can combine several integer concepts. Students who are in low and medieval category is in the action stage, this can be seen when students can fill in the instructions given correctly.Keywords: APOS Theory, Concept Understanding
